Nvidia module does not exist in /proc/modules

Hi!
I compiled kernel with grsecurity from AUR. everything goes fine, and my system boot with a new kernel.
Only thing i have a problem with, is nvidia module.
I'm tried to makepkg nvidia with ABS way, but i get errors:
ERROR: Module nvidia does not exist in /proc/modules
In order to use the new nvidia module, exit Xserver and unload it manualy.
I"m trying to do:
modprobe nvidia
but i get:
FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.32-grsec-ARCH/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko): Cannot allocate memory
When i write :find /lib/modules -name nvidia.ko
I get: lib/modules/2.6.32-grsec-ARCH/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko
When i write: uname -r
I get: 2.6.32-grsec-ARCH
Any help please..

you have to reboot after installing nvidia because the > 2.6.34 kernel has nouveau and is using the card.

Just did a downgrade and it's working again, here are my versions.

    nvidia 319.32-2
    nvidia-utils 319.32-1
    bbswitch 0.7-4
If you have conflicts, I found it easiest to remove those (bbswitch, virtualbox in my case), downgrade linux and then install the appropriate  bbs/vb packages

  • Error in ERM: Function module does not exist

    Hi all,
Lately, we are experiencing a frequent error in ERM (5.3 SP 15.0) that we had not had before. We are unsure what caused the error. The message displayed to the user is "Unhandled error". The log error message is "Message Code is 651 Messsage Details Function module  does not exist Message Type is E" (see full logs below).
The error occurs for example, when users are trying to generate derived roles after saving the org values for the derived role during the methodology process, or when administrators are trying to update the impacted derived roles after for org value mappings.
Has anyone experienced this or someting similar before? Any ideas what could be the reason here?
    Thanks!

  • XI datasources function modules does not exist after BW upgrade to 7.3

We have recently upgraded our dev BI system to 7.3
During our testing phase we found that we are unable to load data coming from XI system.
When we checked the functional modules of the XI(web services)
datasources we found that the function modules does not exist in the system.
Eg : For our GECARS datasource we have 2 funcitonal modules
    1. /BIO/QI6AZXH_ZIFIGECARS
    2. /BIO/QI6AZXH_ZIFIGECARS_RFC (delta function module)
we have activated resp datasource and found that code for
/BIO/QI6AZXH_ZIFIGECARS exist now but we are facing issues with RFC
    funciton modules (/BIO/QI6AZXH_ZIFIGECARS_RFC )
To put it in simple terms we are facing issues with Dev BI since upgradeto 7.3 with respect to RFC and non-availability of function modules.
Kindly help us in resolving this.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hello Kiran,
Have you found the reason for the non existence of the FM in the system after the upgrade?
Have you found any alternative? I hope you would have created an OSS message, if so whats the response have you got?
Kindly let me know as I am experiencing similar issue where one of the FM (RSDRC_MULTIPROV_GET_MAPPING) does not exist in BI system after the upgrade.

    Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR', was
    not caught in
procedure "MCEX_BW_LO_API" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
    clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
When importing object "MC13VD0KON_TAB", the structure did not match the
structure of the target object. The error occurred in component
    no. 21.
This may be due to one of the following reasons:
    - the structure is actually different (the next field has, for
example, a different data type) or
    - the same sequence of components were exported and imported,
but the fields were from other include units.
    How to correct the error
There is a probably a new version of the program active that does
not match the dataset. The data may not have been converted.
It is also possible that the field type of the imported field
has been changed in the Data Dictionary.
Try to eliminate the error by regenerating the program "SAPLMCEX". To
    do this, proceed as follows:
Call Transaction SE38 in the R/3 System, enter the program
name "SAPLMCEX" and then choose "Generate".
If the error occurred in your own ABAP program or in an SAP
program you modified, try to remove the error.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
    keywords:
    "IMPORT_ALIGNMENT_MISMATCH" "CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR"
    "SAPLMCEX" or "LMCEXU06"
    "MCEX_BW_LO_API"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
please help me in this regards
    Quick response will be appreciated.

  • Error EU 802: Function Module does not exist

    Hello everyone!
While running a DTP, I'm getting the following error:
EU 802: Function Module RSD_YPERSON_TXT_GET does not exist
Anyone has any idea what this is about?
Thanks in advance for your responses!
    Best Regards,
    Luís.

    Hi,
I have resolved this issue. Turns out that I was mapping a source field INPER (In-Period) directly to 0CALMONTH. The problem is that this source field can have more than 12 periods per year.
The error message was totally misleading... there's SAP for you
    Points assigned for the effort.

  • Function Module does not exist error during query run time.

    Hi,
During the execution of one of our queries we get the error "Function module RSD_(InfoObject Tech Name)_TXT_GET does not exist.
Now, this InfoObject is used in the query as a filter to restrict on certain values.
I searched in SE37 and no such function exists.
Let me know  if you have any suggestions/resolutions to this issue.
    Thanks,
    AR.

even if the question is quite old already, maybe some other people need the answer to this, too:
In our case this error which Sudhir Anandarao describes meant, that there was no data found for given input. This is quite strange, but definitly was the source as I dont get the error if something is found by the query. The Query, InfoObject were correct, just the data asked for was wrong (like get me all ID's greater than 5, if there are only ID's smaller or equal 5 it would state "Function module RSD_(InfoObject Tech Name)_TXT_GET does not exist.")

  • RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised

    Dear All,
We have 2 production systems one is a APO server & the other being BW server.
While checking in SM58 of our APO production server we found that so many entries were in error saying "ERROR REQU_<number> PG# 12 In BW" with target system as BWCLNT<CLIENT NO>.
We checked in both the production systems for any job failure w.r.t same time span but could find nothing.
When we tried to solve this by using F6 option to re-execute the LUW it says "Functional Module doesnot exists or Exception Raised". After doing checks it was found out that the Functional Module (RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED) was existing . So we need to know about how we can solve this EXCEPTION RAISED issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    SAPAPO

  • Lightroom 6 Develop Module does not show photos, Library Module does show photos

This is what I see in the Develop module after installing Lightroom 6.  Lightroom 5 runs fine on the same Laptop.  Is this a GPU issue?  Configuration issue?  End user issue?  I'm running a Lenovo T430 with Windows 7 Enterprise 64BIT.  I purchased and installed LR 6.0 22-April-15.

I too have the same problem in lightroom CC as you ( after updating on 30/4/15 ) and have looked all over the internet. I had read something in the Adobe forum site suggesting a  problem with the Graphics Processor, but it was not specific to our problem in lightroom. When I also checked photoshop ACR, it too showed the same as your screen shot. And all worked OK  in lightroom 5 and photoshop 2014. It did not seem to make any sense at all ! I haven't unchecked " use Graphics Processor" option, but I will soon after I reply to you and had a rest after hours of trawling through internet sites looking for the answer. I use win 7 home premium desktop 64 bit on a 1 year old PC.
Thank you GrandpaCamera for your contribution, and a picture is better then a thousand words. By Michael.

  • Nvidia doesn't exist in /proc/modules

After running pacman -Syu (I should have blocked the nvidia & nvidia-utils packages from upgrading...), X won't start with nvidia and resolution only goes to 800x600 in vesa.
So I tried going to a completely minimal xorg.conf file with the bare minimums in order to rebuild my settings.  I am getting this error:
ERROR: Module nvidia does not exist in /proc/modules
In order to use the new nvidia module, exit Xserver and unload it manually.
Xserver isn't running, as I am sitting on the command line, so not sure where to go from here.
Here is my output of pacman -Qs nvidia:
    local/nvidia-96xx 96.43.13-2
NVIDIA drivers for kernel26, 96xx branch.
    local/nvidia-96xx-utils 96.43.13-1
NVIDIA drivers utilities and libraries, 96xx branch.
I am using a GeForce 420Go on my old laptop, so it uses the old 96xx driver.  This was working perfectly before the package upgrade.
    Thoughts?

Will as soon as I can get back to the command line. X is stuck on a black screen and ctrl-alt-bkspc doesn't shut it down...
CD drive doesn't work, so booting from a CD is out.  This old laptop doesn't boot via USB, so that's out too.
Anyone have any ideas how I can get to the command line in order to try toxygen's suggestion?
Ctrl+Alt+F1 to get to a console.  If that doesn't work, which seems likely, then do a hard reboot and add 3 to the end of your kernel command line in GRUB.  (If you start a login manager via DAEMONS in rc.conf, you'll need to add 1 or S to the command line instead).

  • Function module /SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH does not exist

When I am trying to activate query 0PT_C01_Q001 (DR4U5LBSCW5LRFCNU7PU3VTZZ) of Time Management InfoCube (0PT_C01 - Time and Labor) from BI Content, the following errors are happening.
    Error when activating element B4RCXIS1HI47GC93QSNYJYZRZ
Function module /SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH does not exist
    Error when activating element DR4U5LBSCW5LRFCNU7PU3VTZZ
Function module /SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH does not exist
Function module /SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH does not exist
So instead of Query this time I went to activate only Structure B4RCXIS1HI47GC93QSNYJYZRZ.
This time also it is showing the following errors
    Error when activating element B4RCXIS1HI47GC93QSNYJYZRZ
Function module /SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH does not exist
Regarding function module /SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH error, I implemented Note 1114719 - Error when activating Content (/SDF/AL_MAP_TRANSID_LOGH)
We are using Support Package SAPKW70016 - SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0
Even after implementing Note 1114719, this error is still happening.
Any help on this issue would be great.
    Thanks in advance
    Subra

After implementing the notes, when I installed it in the background, it worked. In the front end it is still not working.

  • Adobe form for Billing document - FM does not exist error

    Hi,
I have to display the document title as Invoice/Credit Memo based on the billing type in the adobe form. I tried to include a text field in the adobe form to display the title which I pass from my print program based on the billing type (instead of hard coding it).
I get the name of the function module generated through debugging and try to use in tthe program to call the form. But I get the error message that the Function Module does not exist.
I have included the title field in my interface, context, form and have activated them.
Is my approach incorrect or am I missing something?
    Regards
    K

    Hi Jon,
