Nvidia problems, need to roll back

I got some error when updating to the latest nvidia version about some failure to get supported display devices so I need to roll back to an older version. The problem however is that the old version use the old kernel and I have the 3.1 version. So I need to make some own package or whatever it is called and I have no idea how to do it. I will need a PKBUILD file to base the package on and I have no idea either where you find a relevant PKBUILD for nvidia either. Can someone please help me?

Downloading the 275 version from AUR solved my problem temporary, but now the kernel have been updated again so I cannot use the 275 version anymore. And the newest version of nvidia does not solve the problem. Here is the xorg log: http://pastebin.com/kkembEBG

So I have to downgrade nvidia, I feel it was to noobish to ask how to do in that topic. And since it seem to depend on the kernel, it does not seem to be a easy way to downgrade.

If you haven't already used Firefox Sync, you don't have a Sync account.
If all you want to do is use Firefox Sync, you can install the Firefox Sync extension into Firefox 3.6.x versions. <br />

Problems even after rolling back to 8.0

My 2nd generation shuffle was working fine (for the most part). Then I updated to iTunes 8.1 and noticed the exact same problems that everyone else is noticing, namely that syncing was completely broken. (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1937971 for details) So I decided to roll back to iTunes 8.0 by deleting iTunes and restoring version 8.0 with Time Machine. I had to use an old version of the library, but it wasn't a big deal.
The problem now is that now my Shuffle syncs play counts with iTunes, but not the order that music is loaded on the iPod. I put music and podcasts on in the order I want to listen to them (I plan hours worth of music for very long runs in advance), and everything looks OK in iTunes, but then when I detach the iPod and go to listen to it, all the podcasts are lumped at the beginning, then all the music is in order alphabetically by artist, regardless of the order I'd arranged them. Then when I plug the Shuffle back in to the dock, iTunes shows everything in this same undesirable order.
I've used the "restore" option several times to wipe the iPod and start over, but it doesn't seem to want to listen to the order in which I arrange things. Anybody else experience anything similar?

Well, I cant help you there, but I was wondering how you restored the ipod back to 8.0 using Time Machine...do you have to download Time Machine? Or should it be on my itunes playlist? Sorry to change the subject, I just havent been able to resolve the issues Ive had with 8.1.

Selection-screen problem:need to go back to selectionscreen not source code

Please help me on my dillema. I have 2 reports, zreport1 and zreport2. Now, zreport1 submits
values via selection-screen to zreport2. Now here is the problem, when I press 'BACK' on the
selection-screen of zreport2(rememeber we used submit statement via selection-screen on zreport1)
instead of going back to the selection-screen of zreport1 it goes to the source code of zreport1 which
is wrong. And there are 2 selection-screens on zreport1 depending on the user if he is controller or not.
So what I need to do here is that whenever I press 'BACK' either I'm adding or modifying or displaying records
it should go back to whatever screen I called in zreport1.
Here's a diagram.
ZREPORT1**
if v_controller = 'X'
    display selection-screen 1500
else
    display selection-screen 500
endif.
if user wants to add records, submit values from zreport1 to zreport2
and return via selection-screen.
*same goes for edit option.
if user wants to display, get all records then display in ALV.
ZREPORT2**
So lets assume user decides not to add records and decides to go back. so he presses
the BACK button in selection-screen of zreport2. Now here's the nasty part, instead of going back to either
selection-screen 500 or 1500 in zreport1, it goes to the source code of zreport1!. I hope I explained it clearly.

IPOD 4 has IOS V6, need to roll back to V5.1.1, How do I do it?

I have an IPOD 4 with IOS 6 which is expired. The device says it requires activation. I do not have a developers ID so cannot Activate IOS6. How do I roll back the device to IOS 5.1.1. I cannot seem to find the IOS download on the Apple site.

You have an unauthorized copy of iOS 6. I guess you got in over your head. This forum is only for release iOSs.
There should be not problem after iOS 6 is released to the public in the fall.

I need to roll back Firefox from V 26

For some reason Firefox upgraded itself to V 26 without my permission and went ahead and disabled my Norton Toolbar. I never upgrade Firefox until I know that Norton Toolbar is supported. Please can anyone advise me which version I need that fully supports Norton Toolbar and how I roll back to it? Thank you

My Norton Toolbar worked yesterday, but it isn't there today and Firefox has updated itself to V 26. When I look at the Add-ons Manager it says:
Norton Toolbar is incompatible with Firefox 26 and it has been disabled. So it's definitely not there nor can I get it back.
I tried about 30 different ID names before I managed to pick one that worked and by then I admit I was fed up. I had no Norton Toolbar through no fault of my own, and I couldn't register to ask a question about why I no longer had it.
I don't mind updating Firefox as long as it supports Norton Toolbar. That's my rule and, after all, it's my PC.
I tried rolling back to Firefox 25 and NT still didn't work. It seems like the Norton Toolbar has been updated too. My NT version is 2014.6.0.27
Mt Firefox version is 26. They aren't compatible.
Given a straight choice I would choose NT every time.

This may be caused by a corrupt existing backup that needs to be deleted, or by data on your phone that is preventing the backup. To troubleshoot these, try deleting your last backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, swipe across your backup and tap Delete, then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on again.
If it still won't back up, you may have an app that is preventing the backup from succeeding. To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again. If it succeeds, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is preventing the backup and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again. If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again. If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails. Mac users have been trained to faddishly update IMHO.

ALSB 3 roll back a transaction without sending a fault message

I have a proxy service exposed as a web service, which has some operations that call some tuxedo systems, do some transformation of the data, etc.
When any of it's operations is invoked I have to build an XML reply in both success AND error cases. The difference between both is a response code, if the call to the backend tuxedo system responded with a stream that starts with OK then everything is fine and I build the reply and send it back, but if an error ocurred it will send back an stream that starts with ER followed by an error code, with which I will have to build the SAME XML but using this error code and send it back to the client instead as a "successful" invocation instead of sending a SOAP fault message. Also I need to roll back the whole transaction in that error case. The system works like that and it can't be changed, we are building this proxy service based on a WSDL file given to us by the partner company that invokes our service and there's lots of other clients that do it in the same way. The problem is that I haven't found a way to roll back the transaction without making the proxy service send a fault message that the client system won't understand. The "Raise error" and "Reply with failure" do roll back the transaction but both send a fault message. Is there a way to answer "successfully" to the client but make an explicit rollback?

Roll back OS to 10.3.8

I'm having major problems building large projects since I got the 10.3.9 update. I can't move to gcc 4 because of issues with 3rd party libraries. At this point in time I would just as soon roll back to 10.3.8. Is this possible?
Have any other Mac developers seen problems with 10.3.9?

From the research that I've done so far it is not a maintenance issue. It appears to be due to changes in the standard C++ library that were made as part of the 10.3.9 release. In the end it is a development issue. If I can't build on this machine it is no more than a nice looking paper weight.
So, if there are any developers out there with solutions, I'd be willing to hear them. Otherwise, I still need to roll back the OS so that I can build and make sure my code works on the Mac.

You should be very comfortable with a scripting language before you should run them in production. If you are comfortable with PowerShell then you know exactly what that script will execute. You should have a backup solution, but you could also use PowerShell
to export and import configurations in certain cases as a way to backup/restore settings. If you are learning PowerShell and you are executing cmdlets you can make good use of the -WhatIf parameter.

All pages are very slow to load. Ebay is among the worst. The scolling is choppy at best, and all check boxes and expandable fields just show up blank. Desperately need to roll back the upgrade.

The screen in iSilo doesn't scroll properly.
My slideshow maker "FotoMagico" doesn't work at all.
