OAF prompting to relogin while running through JDeveloper. How to avoid?

I am trying to do an extension of Payables workflow notification. I have copied the files from application server to my local host. I have created the project and has given right responsibility and right user.  When I run through JDeveloper able to login to the application. I am able to click on the payables workflow notification on the home page worklist and was able to navigate to the Notification Details page. When I click on the 'View Additional Invoice Details' link, the application is prompting the login page again (URL is changed and not ponting to my local host anymore). When I enter the credentials a valid page is opened but not connected to JDeveloper any more.
I am not seeing any issue when I run the same outside of Jdeveloper with same user and responsibilities.
Please help.
Thanks,
RBA

  • While running the query how much time it will taken, I want to see the time

    Hi Folks
I would like to know ... While running the query how much time it will be taken, I want to see the time? in WEBI XI R2.....
Plz let me know  the answer.......

    Hi Ravi,
The time a report runs is estimated based on the last time it was run. So you need to run the report once before you can see how long it will take. Also it depends on several factors... the database server could cache some queries so running it a second time immediately after the first time could be quicker. And there is the chance of changing filters to bring back different sets of data.
You could also schedule a report and then check the scheduled instance's status properties and view how long a report actually ran.
    Good luck

  • Report "freeze" - while running through Appplication

    Hi folks,
we have a report that runs fine through report builder and while running it through application except the one institute.
In that institute, where data amount is even not as large as in testing database (or in any other institute), report freeze after while. When I run that report in this database through report builder then it's quick and without any problem - so I think it's not database problem, but could be some setting on report's server.
We tried to extend cache size from original value 50. After increasing cache size in config file to 600 (in .../reports/conf folder rep_rerver.conf file <property name="cacheSize" value="600"/> ) report runs fine (there were no change in report on in testing data amount during all testing process) . Normal value that we have in other institutions (config files for other databases is 50 - where this amount is enough)
We don't want lo leave this value on 600, but at the moment we don't know what other parameters can have something to do with it.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Tomas

  • How to get prompted message box while running BRs

I am using Planning 11.1.1 with Hyperion Business Rule (not Calc Manager).
I need to create a business rule for the the planning application, so that the user runs the BR, and if it does not meet the condition checking, the user should get a message box prompted (with customizable text message).
    Any suggestion is appreciated.
    Thanks

    John,
Thanks for the reply. In fact, I have two questions regarding running the BR in Planning:
    1. Can we change the layout of the run time prompts while launching the BR (currently, my BR has quite a few RTPs, and we would like to group some of those together)?
    2. In the BR, I already define the RTPs. My case is that the BR will check the status of the account, if it is ok, then it will run the script; if it is not ok, it shall skip the calc script, but I would like to user get a message stating that nothing has been ran, because of the status is not ok. Do you think this also can be done using RTP?
    Appreciate your reply.

  • I'm developing a test system that reqiures that I run a TCP/IP session in the background while running TestStand. How could I incorporate this TCPIP vi into the TestStand Operator Interface ?

    Test Engineering
    Empower RF Systems Inc.

    Mal,
If you have the LabVIEW Operator Interace, you can place your TCP/IP Vi anywhere you want. Either at the beginning of the execution, when a particular sequence is running, when a user logs in, etc. Since you have the LV code, you can just add your TCP/IP as a subVI in the right place. You could also place a button in the front panel that will allow you to CONNECT/DISCONNECT by calling your VIs.
    Does this help?

  • Error while running Create page in standalone-oc4j

I have an ADF Create page (CreateAppt.jsp) that works fine through jdeveloper 10.1.3, but does not work when i deploy and run it on a standalone-oc4j. Appreciate your ideas on what may cause this or debugging tips..
My ADF application flows through two pages:
    a List page (ListAppts.jsp has a Create button) -> a Create Page (CreateAppt.jsp)
When I click on the Create button on the List page, I arrive at the Create Page.
When I run through jdeveloper, I see that all input fields in the Create page are empty, which is what I expect. However, when I open the same page on standalone-oc4j, all the input fields are populated with the first row in the List Page, and there is an error:
JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:oracle.jbo.domain.Number with value:oc4jadmin
    For input string: "o"
I designed the Create page using the generic Data Control Palette, by dragging the VO and dropping it with this option: Create->Forms->ADF Creation Form
When running through standalone-oc4j, why is the Create page populated? and how is the standalone-oc4j login string, "oc4jadmin", used in the create?
    Thanks,
    Ou-Dan

    Hi,
this sounds strange and cannot be diagnosed from remote. If it works in JDeveloper with the embedded OC4J then is works the same in stand alone OC4J. Having "oc4jadmin" showing seems that you look up a value from the request and assign it to the application. Note that you don't need to be logged in to OC4J to see ADF faces apps running.
The problem seems to be in your application. Can you reproduce this with a simple testcase?

But strange thing is that it is showing the detailed result when i run it through BeX Analyzer.
While all the other queries don't have this problem in system. All showing the correct detailed result.

    Hi,
We can do this setting in WAD. Please check the web template and try to remove that setting. When you have hierarchy then we can display only till certain level in portal, this setting is done in web template APIs, but in bex analyzer you can see all the detailed information.

I didn't edit web.xml file manually, please help.
    Thanks,

Is that al what you see in logs? If there is more then please go through again carefully. There are certain serlvet and filter dependencies that are required to be commented out in the web.xml to be able to run it. Also have a look at  https://blogs.oracle.com/fadevrel/entry/tip_to_quickly_test_jdeveloper
    Hope this helps
