OB52 - Update in Production

Can we change the data in the period table thru OB52 in production to correct the error ?

This issue is on going ,don't know at which point or month it started ,the period close for one K account does not close properly. It has a weird period data of last year. can we attempt to change the data in that particular account to the current period in the table ? if yes , any other table or area will it get affected ?
Any insight will be helpful.

For purchasing related transaction codes period control is maintained through transaction code MMPV in addition to OB52.
Review if your MM periods are closed properly.

Activity price not getting updated at Production order

Hi All,
I have made activity dependent planning at cost centre and calculated the activity rate. The activity rate is showing correctly for the cost centre in KP26, but while confirming the production order (CO11N) the the activity price is not getting updated in production order. But material price is getting properly updated at production order.
Plz help me in identifying the possible areas of mistakes.

Hi,
Please check the Period for which you have created the ht activity price is same as the period in the conformation. In the workcenter in which you are confirming please check whether the activities are assigned to the work center.

Mass update of product master (lock material record)

Hi! Does anyone know of any program that I can use to carry out mass update of product master in SRM? I am specifically looking at locking the materials. I originally intended to use LSMW and create a recording for it. However, the recording didn't work - when I clicked on the open button so that I can key in the product id, it returns back to the recording / LSMW transaction with the screen data. I did not even have a chance to proceed further.
Any idea would be appreciated.

How your SRM PO will reflected ( indeed really creates in ECC i.e copy of srm PO).

can you create a SC for local material and order a successful PO ?
i know there is a product check in catalog web services - in SRM product master not necesary but your ECC must have material master right..

When I try to scan sosmething to email i get a message to update my product. I press ok but it does not update it and it does not tell me how to do it either. please help

Measuring point update by production order confirmation

Hi friends,
I created a prt as equipment and assigned it to the routing. I created a production order and when i confirm the same i am getting following error as:
Document MeasUnit has a different dimension to the characteristic unit
Message no. IR071
Diagnosis
The measurement unit on creation of the measurement document must have the same dimension as the measurement unit of the characteristic of the measuring point.
In this case, the measurement unit % does not suit the character unit EA of the measuring point 103.
System Response
Processing will not be continued.
Procedure
Use the possible entries help.
Please suggest the solution.

i have gone through entire post for the subject related to measuring point auto update from production order confirmation. I have tried the same but i dont know what i am missing.
if i put some value like 1 or 2 and appropriate UOM then only my measuring document is being updated with the same value not with the actual confirmed quantity.. i have already maintained standard formulla in prt view.
my basic requirement is to get actual value of produced quanity as counter update. means if 20 pieces have been produced and confirmed in co11n, then counter must bhe updated with the value of confirmed quantity.
please advice what value should i put as usage in routing master to get actuall counter update.

Mass Update Opportunity Products

Hi All,
I have encountered a problem requiring me to update all the product revenues for all open optys (in order to trigger a WF on them all).
We usually export and import for this type of requirement, but Siebel only allows to import opty products using the 'External Unique ID' field, which we have never populated for the revenue records, so they are all blank.
Anyone have any creative ideas how to overcome?

Colin, it's not good news I'm afraid.....it is what you suspect.....you can't update Opty-Products without an EUI. I would put a default value of the ROW_ID into EUI so that going forwards you have an EUI in the records (Do the same if you use ASSETS), but at the moment you have to do it manually, there is no other way to update the record. Webservices might be an option though?
I have logged this as a Enhancement Request and it is being considered. "Enhancement request 12-1HXGUFP has been accepted by our engineers, this enhancement askes for the ability to use fields other than the external unique Id to uniquely identify Opportunity Product records when importing. "

ABAP Update to Production Order Sequence

Good afternoon PP Gurus,
We are creating an inquiry that shows all production orders for a given work center. What we want the inquiry to do is then allow the user to change the sequence AFKO-CY_SEQNR and then save the new value back to the order header AFKO.
Example Inquiry.
Work Center: 123
OrderNumber Part   Description Sequence
100001           123   Part123             _
100002           456   Part456             _
100003           789   Part789             _
100004           000   Part000             _
So we need an ABAP object that would take production order as the key and allow a change to sequence number CY_SEQNR.
We're running an older R/3 version 4.7.

Don't sweat this one gang.
Our current version of R/3 does not contain any native ABAP that allows for us to update the production order. We came up with our own FM created off a recording of CO02.

Revoke the material master data's updated in production

Hi Experts,
I have updated the product hierarchy field for the list of materials using BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA.
I have forget to set the SALES_VIEW flag in BAPIMATHEAD table, instead it created all the views for the material. Is there any way to revoke the material master data.

Actual activity price not updating in production order

Hi All,
I am facing one problem, that actual price for activities are not updating in production order while plan price are updated. Earlier both plan and activity prices were getting upadated but now actual price is not updating for any material. I have tried at the same material also but it is not getting updated. Actual hours are updated in confirmation of production order but not price. If somebody could suggest the reason it will be great.

How often does macbook update their products?

I know this might be a silly and some of you may be thinking "I have no clue!", but I was wondering how often mac seems to be updating their products. Since I am seriously considering a mackbook, since reading all of your wonderful reviews to my previous post, I am thinking if I should wait on the macbook until Christmas comes along in case a new product(s) emerges?If ya'll could please leave some feedback that would be great!Ya'll have been a wonderful help!

Mass Update of Product hierarchy in all CRM Open Sales Orders

Hi Folks,
I have a requirement in my project wherein I have to update product hierarchy details with new values in all Items of CRM Open sales orders.
If suppose I have a text file which has the details of Open Orders & new product hierarchy which i have to update, then would it be recommended if I use BDC for this task. Can I Call Transaction CRMD_ORDER?
If someone has already gone through such requirement, Can you please suggest me how to proceed with this requirement. Using BDC or any other way which I can proceed with?

You are correct in indicating that Exchange rate type field is not seen in Header data of sales order. I checked screen layouts for various screens for sales order data and this field is not suppressed. The only reason could be that this field is not used in sales order screens
If you are interested, you could also check in the following way
1. Go to SE11, enter database table as VBAK
2. Once inside data dictionary table, click where used list button, select programs and screens and execute
3. click continue (don't select background)
4. now you would have list of programs and screens, this table is used
5. now start another session and go to transaction SE51
6. indicate program name as SAPMV45A and screen numbers as listed in step 4. you can check all screen numbers to see whether Exchange rate type field is listed in sales order layout.
7. Of particular interest would be screen number 4311 as this contains Financial accounting data & 4303 Billing data
8. you can check screen layout for screen 4311 & 4303. you would see Exchange rate type field is not indicated.
9. in case you could find this field in any screen, you could ask your ABAP consultant to add this field in the layout screen.

MRP-Delivery Schedule for Sales order is not updating in Production order

Dear Experts,
I have created Sales order and maintained delivery scheduling, Then Run MRP through MD50,
We received Planned order then through this we have converted to Prodcution order.
When we observe the delivery schedule for sales order under assignment Tab in Produciton order which is showing zero instead showing line item of Delivery schedule.
I am able to see Sales order and Line item but i am not abel to get any delivery schedule line item.
Please suggest where settings are missing.

Creative cloud app, updating cc products windows 8.1

Hi, i recently upgraded to windows 8.1and reinstalled my adobe cc products, however i have noted that everytime i update using the creative cloud app nothing happens, it detects some of my products needs updating and when i click update and it verifies that all of my adobe apps are up to date, and i open up lets say photoshop, when i click around to see the new features, none of them are present..... The update had no effect, and when i check the product version of Photoshop, it says version 14.0 instead of 14.1....what's going on?....and creative cloud app says im up to date.
