OBD creation as soon as GR is done-third party order process

Hi Gurus,
*Below is my client scenario, need your expertise replies.
My client palces a PO to vendor in China to drop ship to end customer in China. This is purely standard thirdparty order process,But as soon as Vendor delivers the material to customer, we need to do virtual GR and need Auto delivery creation and PGI.
Is this possible to have Auto OBD creation as soon as GR is done?
I know through batch jobs we can do this, but do we have SAP standard functionality.
Appreciate your answers.
thanks
Vivek

Well that is possible via IDOC's. but for that you need to have XI system
let me  throw some information
the moment GR is posted in your system it should trigger an IDOC which will go to XI system via an interface and from XI it will pick the values relevant for outbound delivery as in XI they can do value mapping and key mapping.
so from XI it will send a inbound IDOC carrying the outbound delivery details.

  • Third Party order processing- PR creation

    Hi
In Third Party Order processing , system creates single Purchase requisition for the all line items in the Sales order. Our requirement is to create individual PR for each line item in the sales order. For Example , if the sales order is having two lines items (10 and 20) with item category TAS, system should create two purchase requisition against line 10 and 20. Is there any customization available to control this ? if not how can we achieve this functionality.
Thanks in advance for your immediate response.
    With regards,
    Joseph Anand B

    Joseph,
    1. First you need to maintain ZTA1 and ZTA2 two item categories.( Replica of TAS)
    2. Proceed with Item category determination for ZTA1 and Keep ZTA2 as Manual Item Category both the item category should have same details.
    3. Proceed Creating Schedule line categories ZTA1 + MRP type = C1 (Replica of CS - LEG)
Similarly create another ZTA2 + MRP type = C2 (Replica of CS - LEG)
Now when you raise a third party order enter the material ( 2 line items) and price and press enter. The first line item will have ZTA1 and second line item also will have ZTA1 change it manually to ZTA2.
    save the document.
Try this i hope it should work
Note: But like one of our friend likely pointed out what if it were to be more than 2 items.... just check it out. Does it sound perfect....

  • Automatic po creation third party order

    Hello Gurus,
In case of automatic po creation from third party order we have attach purchase organization and vendor to sales organization. This restrict only one vendor against sales organization.
Is any BADI available which we can use which to change vedor dynamically ?
    Best Regards,
    Vasant

    Dear Vasant,
For automatic PO at the time of GR following are the prerequisites:
    1) In Customizing
    a) Auto PO generation must be activated in Mov. Type 101 & 161
    b) the plant for which GR is entered must be assigned to standard Pur. Org.
    c) Default Document type for PO must be specified in GR ( MB 01)
    2) Application - Front end side
    a) material must be valuated material
    b) Purchasing Info record must exist for vendor , material & standard Pur Org.
    c) Conditions in Info Records must be valid.
    d) Applicable for stock items & not consumable items
    e) you cannot enter any movement in GR block stock
    f) Material Master & vendor master records must.
If you ensure all above settings then it is possible to have auto PO during GR.
    Please try,
    Vivek

  • Purchase requsition creation to be stoped in case of Third party

    Hi All,
I have a requirement that in case of third party order the Purchase Requisition should Not be created if the order has a header level Delivery block.
    How to fulfill this requirement?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Amrish Purohit

    Hi,
You can block the purchase requisition by making the delivery block active in Schedule line by giving the delivery block reason.
    go to >> Img>> SD>>Sales>>Sales doc>>Schedule line>>Sche.line type.
    ex. CS schedule line.

  • Create Third Party Invoice after the Inbound Delivery Creation

    Hello,
We have a requirement in 3rd party order process, where create invoice with reference to 3rd party order/ items after the inbound delivery completion.
Normally 3rd party invoice creation will be done after the MIRO transaction.
For this, I have checked the Item category billing relevance & copy controls between OR & F2, TAS and I couldnt get any idea for this requirement.
Please let me know if you have an Idea.
    Regards
    Suresh.

    dear friend,
    the following info would help:
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.

  • Third Party Sales - Automatic Purchase Order Creation- via  SO event

    Dear SAP Gurus,
We have a requirement to have automatic PO Creation for Third Party Sales Process.
To achieve it what I have done is
    a) I have created an event linking using transaction SWETYPV:
    Object = BUS2032, Event = ALECREATED and ALECHANGED ,
    Funtion module  = PUR_ORDER_CREATE_VIA_SD_EVENT.
Also I have modified the Sales Organization data to pass Purchasing Organization,  Purchase Order type and Purchasing group . Its working fine . Its creating purchase order automatically.
My question here is , I'm I doing the wright method for automatic PO creation as soon as a sales order is created.
I beleive this will call for PO creation for all Sales order not only restricted to third party sales . Will it affect performance of the system or will it ignore since there is no purchase requisition.
Please advise on the pros and cons of this process

We use a fairly standard Third Party process. We use the Item Category to drive the Schedule Line Category, which is flagged as Third-Party. On the Material Master (Purchasing view), the Material is flagged for Automatic PO, same on the Vendor Master. Workflow automatically kicks in on SO save to trigger the creation of the PO for the Purchase Req.
Unfortunately, Workflow is a bit of a dark art to me, so I couldn't tell you what we have in place. My feeling is that it is bog standard though.
    Cheers, Paul.

  • Third Party Process - forcing PO creation after error

    Hello eveybody,
I am implementing the Third Party Process and everything is going well but I have a question. If I enter say 10 items on a sales order and one material does not have an info record/source list then that item does not get entered on the purchase req. This then blocks the automatic creation of the PO.
If I fix the problem material and re-enter it on the SO, then that item gets ordered but the other 9 are not processed. Is there nany way to force the PO creation for the other 9 items ??
    Many thanks in advance.
    Brian

    Hi Stanton,
When you precess the third party order the purchase requesition will be created to the respective schedule lines so you can get the two different purcahse requesition for the 10 items then you can combine those two purchase requesitions in the purchase order what is the issue.
or you can run another PO for that problem item.
I hope it will not give any problem while creating PO
    Thanks,
    Murali.

  • Sales order item rejected in third party SO -although the PO is done comple

The user has rejected a sales order line for total qty instread of just rejecting the undelivered qty. This is third party order and the line has a PO associated with it.
The GR and IR have been completed on the PO.
There was a warning message to delete the PO line first before rejecting the Sales order line, but the system still allowed the user to reject the item.
Now, when we try to remove the reason for rejection ..the system says to delete the PO line. Here, the system insists and an error message is resulted.
We run a customized booking report for sales order and the report now shows negative net value as year to date revenue since we rejected the item. The business does not want to see that -ve value since it gives a meaning as though business incurred loss.
The booking for this line has been done long ago when the order was booked. The net effect would have been zero had we rejected the item in the same period. Now, it is -ve since we are rejecting the item in some other period.
What could be best solution ? Do we need reverse vendor invoice, goods movement on PO and then delete the item ? As last step, remove the reason for rejection on sales order?
Are there some OOS notes to remove the reason for rejection on the sales order without distrubing the PO and other subsequent docs.
    Regards

    Hi Friends
I have resolved the problem myself. I have used sap note : 97272 and downloaded the utility/ correction program ZZUNREJE and ran it for rejected sales line item.
The reason for rejection was successfully reversed without touching any of the associated POs.

  • Purchase order creation from sale order (Third party )

    Hii..
I have a requirement where i create a sale order for third party, system automatically creates purchase requisition,
my requirement is i dont want to  convert purchase requistion everytime into PO when ever sale order is created.
can i automate the process where the moment i crete s sale order purchase order is created direclty.
    Suggestions will be worth rewarding..
    Regards
    SARFRAZ

    Hi
first you need to do seeting for Automatic PO creation from PR
1.You need to check the Auto POcheck box in Purchasing view of the material master
2.You need check the Autoamic PO check box in Vendor master in Purchasing org data
3.You need to maintai the source list with one of the vendor as fixed vendor
4.Purchasing info record for Vendor and material
Then you need to schedule the batch job for ME59N with the variant (Required input selection parameters) with the time intervals.
One third party order created, PR will be generated automatically based on the item category defined in the sales order and source will be assigned in PR.Based o time interval schduled for batch job, the PRs will be automatically converted into PO.

  • HT3819 why does home sharing leave the bar as soon as I click "done" after turning it on?

Why does home sharing disappear from the bar as soon as I hit "done" when ATTEMPTING to turn it on?
I have tried turning it off and when I turn it on again it appears in the bar when I am turning it on BUT DISAPPEARS as soon as I hit the "done" button.

    Hello there Garry2,
Here is a little gem for troubleshooting Home Sharing in iTunes called Troubleshooting Home Sharing found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2972.
I recommend starting at step 4:
    4. Check your network connection
    5. Check Firewall Settings
    6. Quit and reopen apps and iTunes
    7. Restart your network router

  • Third party items are not invoiced totally though the MIRO done for all

    Hi Gurus,
I have a third party sales order with 3 item lines.
All these three items are delivered to the customer by the vendor and invoice verification MIRO also done for all three.
Now when the order related invoice creation background job run and invoice created for this order is missing the first line item in the invoice. I cant understand what is the problem with first item line? Order is now not in the invoice due list also. manually invoice creation also gives the log that the order is completely invoiced. But when we see the document flow for item line 1 it says the item line is yet open and not invoiced.
suggest me as the invoice posting is required for this item line also. suggest all the possible reasons.
    regards,
    Sandesh

    Hi Navneetha,
    Thanks for d reply.
I hv checked d mentioned tables and Itm Categories nothing is +ve there. All 3 itms hv TAS itm category. Also I agree with ur MIRO statement.
I found one thing which might b d cause plz check.
As we knw dat we cant change the schedule ln date and quantity once the Pur. Requisition created. and we cant make changes in sales order itm line if the PO is created for that Pur. Requisition. Bcoz afteward the PO wont be updating  the Pur Requsition and sales order automatically.
But here the schedule line date at d schedl ln category for itm 2 is changed by a certain Batch job after the PO cration.
Therefore I think this wd b d reason that the item line 2nd is not getting updated in sales order from the PO and looks open.
The change of schedule line dates is not maintained in the PO manually ever.
So would it b d reason for the inconsistent doc flow updates and 2nd item being open as not invoiced yet?
    regards,
    Sandesh

  • Third party automatic creation of Purchase order

    Dear experts,
In third party scenario i used ALES item category for automatic creation of PR & PO..
But i am unable to get..it...  Isit any other settings required for this process.
    Please advise
    Thanks & Regards,
    VSN

For third party ALES item category also the schedule line category determination in VOV5 is CS only
I think mainly you need to maintain the settings in VOV5 for the item category ALES and you MRP type in MMR you have to maintain CS as schedule line category
    In VOV6 for CS details
The order type should be maintained as NB
Item category should be 5 that is third party
Account assignment category should be X
These are the main settings to generate PR up on saving the sales order
Mm people will convert the PR and PO
And a lot of threads are available how to convert automatically a PR to PO both in SD and MM forums
Normal third party item category is TAS and with ALES and a lot of controls differ mainly billing relevance
In TAS is is set to F and in ALES it is set to B

  • Issue for creation date of Billing document in third party ???

    Hello SAP Folks,
This issue is related to third party scenario. The basic requirement is to create to a billing document with a creation date same as
Good issue date of Sales Order.
For your information, with the help of enhacement we have passed on the value of posting date of material document generated
from MIGO to Goods issue date in Sales Order. I am very much aware that setting up a new copying routine would help me but
relating the GI date field of Sales Order from the techincal point of view is a complete work stopper. Could anyone throw light on
the workaround for mapping this case ???
    Regards,
    Sarthak

    Hello,
Thanks Alex for your input on the topic !!
But i would like to say that the billing relevance of the item category has to "B" as this process of Third part Sales talks about creation of billing document after the MIGO. And i am basically interested to Populated the posting date of MIGO for Biling creation date.
In Sales Order, the GI date is modified to Posting date of MIGO through enhancement. I have been looking around relevant tables to fetch the GI date of Sales Order but not getting the right track...
Could anyone provide any other workaround to implement this sort of requirement ???
Eager to hear from Lakshmipathi ...

    Sarthak
