OBI EE 10 1.3.3.O

Question

I am re installing OBI EE. And when it was installed first we forget the PWD for "OC4Jadmin". Now it is not allwoing to reset. We tried Upgrading directly its not working also. Is there any work around? Please help

Try this. In \OracleBI\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\config directory you will see a file system-jazn-data.xml. It might be a good idea to make a copy of this in case you make a mistake editing it.
Look inside of it for:

and change <user> to <user deactivated="true">:
               <user deactivated="true">
                    <name>oc4jadmin</name>
                    <display-name>OC4J Administrator</display-name>
                    <guid>CA3B21F066BC11DCBFCCF364CAAAE165</guid>
                    <description>OC4J Administrator</description>

This deactivates the oc4jadmin password so next time you start oc4j you will be prompted for a new password which will be encrypted in the <credentials> tag in this file. I have not tried this myself BTW.
