Object ........is locked while deleting request

hi experts,
i have some request in modifiable status now i want to delete those request but whenever i am trying to do it ,it is showing that object ........is locked
please help me out it's very urgent.

If there are many objects and you want to delete entire request then go to se03 --> click on unlock objects --> enter your request/task no --> execute -->

We have Netweaver 7.30 with BW on hana on SP 9.
First 3 SAP notes doesn't meets the need.
Shall I use 1007717 note?
Which says:
use transaction SE16 to delete all entries for this request and for this Operational Data Store (ODS) object from the RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE and RSODSACTREQ tables. Then set the 'from-date' in the administration of the data target to a value older than the oldest request loaded in this ODS object. Choose 'Refresh'. This corrects the administration.
Will it resolves the problem?

Message_type_x short dump while deleting request from infocube

Hi,
While deleting one of the erroneous requests from some infocubes,
system is resulting in short dump "MESSAGE_TYPE_X".
This is happening only with respect to some infocubes.
Description of short dump:
Short text of error message:
System error in program RSMDATASTATE and form RSM_DATASTATE_CHECK-5- (see long text)

I got same problem with my InfoPackage last month with same error msg.
that error come due to data inconstancy in data base table.
in my case i am unable to open my InfoPackage and after double clicking it was giving dump with same error.
If u know abap then just change the sy-subrc value from 4 to 0 before dump line code it will resolve your problem.
for this on dump screen click on debugger button then it opens your code and shows line on which u getting dump with table name check your entry in table ok
if u unable u find table then do one thing just put break point before dump line and open fresh rsa1 and go to same cube and double click it will stop on your debugger point just press f5 button it shos sy-subrc 4 convert it to 0 and press edit button and press f8 .

Object already locked under transport request by another user

Hi Experts,
While trying to generate transport request for my developments, the request is getting generated as a sub task under previously created request.The program has been earlier modified by another user and that request was not released.Can I create my own request number without creating it as a sub request? I cannot release or delete earlier requests.

This restriction is there for a reason. Somebody has already applied changes to the object you are changing now, so there would be a logical conflict if you would be able to lock it again under a different request. Before you release or delete anything, make sure you understand all changes done and if they can be moved together to subsequent systems. Speak to the "other user" if unsure.

Hi Supriatna,
In the same screen where you have been 'Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks' place your cursor in one of the empty fields (the second column, eg. PROG) and look up for XLWB. You have increase the number of displayed entries in the look up screen to atleast 1000 to find the R3TR XLWB entry (Excel workbook entry).

First go to transaction se03 Choose "Unlock Objects (Expert Tool)" option under "Requests/Tasks" and unlock your task,
Than go to se10 and delete what you want.

I am working on some object .It has some tables ,RFC's etc
If I make changes to some of the objects the next day aging the same object is attached with the same name in the Transport Request.Also if i try to delete one out of it,I get the folllowing message & I am unable to delete it.Please guide on both.

If more than one user has worked on the same object, then it would be included in the TR twice.
Right click & select SORT COMPRESS, then try to delete.

I got a problem while loading data from an ODS to another ODS, it shows 450 records but request is red, it says
'The requested object is locked by another transaction'
Message no. MC602
Diagnosis
A lock requested by calling an ENQUEUE function module cannot be provided because the object in question has already been locked by its own transaction.
Technical Information: The C_ENQUEUE routine returns the following values:
COLLISION_OBJECT = ERSMONFACT
COLLISION_UNAME = SINGH
System response
The ENQUEUE function module triggers an appropriate exception. If this exception was not intercepted by the application program, it leads automatically to the active SAP transaction being cancelled.
Procedure
Once the ENQUEUE function module is called, the application program should intercept this exception and react to it appropriately.
I tried SM12 but there is no lock entry, can u suggest some thing?

here your dso seems to be lock as some read and write opertaion is happening at the time u r running the dtp.
Here two things to look :
1.Check the error that ur getting while running a dtp the process monitor etc try to find the request id which has locked the dso . Copy that request id go to t-code RSRQ see whats this request who is user,target etc..contact user for cancelling the job if it has been stuck for long long time. Copy the JOB ID from RSRQ for that rquest go to SM37 give the date as there in RSRQ and kill the job
2.GO to SM12 try to search the object there and remove the lock.

I'm having same problem with my iPhone 4. Even after restoring twice. Simple tasks casue the phone to lock up and restart, which, thanks to iOS 7 takes much longer than with iOS 6.
I love my phone, but it is almost unsuable after update.

Error while deleting a request

When trying to delete a request from a master data object an error appears which says:
Cannot delete request DTPR_* of table RSN* for deletion.
Please let me know what needs to be done here so that request is deleted.

For deleting any master data
Need to delete first where its referenced to ,so check the where used list for the infoobject and delete the places where that master data is referenced
Typically - Attributes,Hierarchies,Texts,Transaction data,in Query - Hardcoded master data
Lots of ways around ,even using database utility ;however that leads to inconsistencies and requires sounds knowledge so wont advocate those steps.
You can follow below steps -
R-Click Delete master data ,it wont delete all if its referenced,so now go to
Tcode - SLG1
Object = RSDMD
Subobject = MD_DEL
Hit execute button
it will fetch you the log showing all the places(references) where you need to delete the data in order to delete the actual master data.
After deleting the data from referenced places you can completely delete the master data.

Error while deleting a row from the Entity Object

Hi OAF Guys,
i am unable to delete the newly created row from the entity object.
let me explain my scenario.
1. i have a table of which some of the columns are mandatory.
2. I am writing the code in the validateEntity to check wether the user really enter anything into the fields.
3. My problem is, when the user creates row and wanted to delete the row without entering any details, the validate entity of the EO gets fired which will not allows to delete the row.
Is there any workaround for this problem.

I am very sorry for not providing you the complete details of my scenario. Here i am explaining
1. what code you have placed while creating the row and in validation method on EOImpl.
while creating a new row i am initializing the primary key of the EO with the sequence value.
2.When you say, you are unable to delete the row, are you getting a error message ? if yes, custom message or fwk error ?
its not the fwk error, its the custom message which wrote in my validateEntity method of EO to check whether the user had entered all the necesary columns or not.
3.How are you trying to delete the row ?
while the user clicks on the delete switcher i am getting the primary key of the row and searching for the row in the vo and finally deleting it.
The problem arises when the user creates a row, and later doesnt want to enter the details and delete it. Here while deleting the row the validateEntity method of the EO gets fired and doesnt allow me to do so :(.

Objects are locked in open change requests during support packs update

Hi All,
We are applying support packs in the ECC Dev system. Its giving error in phase OBJECTS LOCKED..? after that i checked with ABAP consultant he given requests which i unlocked the objects from SE03. Still the same error Objects are locked in open change requests is coming.
If i checked requests which are not released, those are in hundreds which we can not release. How can i find a specific object which i need to unlock or any chance to skip the phase and continue. Because 15 days back i have updated the support packs without any of the issue.
Please suggest me whether i can find the specific objects to unlock or any other process.

Normally when we double click on that error message 'objects are locked', system takes us to the transport requests containing those objects in question.
And did you try SE03 --> Objects in Requests --> Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks ?

I have one process chain in which i have one step where i am executing one DTP to load one cube and in next step deleing overlapping requests from same cube.
i am getting error at that step "Error when deleting requests for comparison request DTPR_4CCDXZLK1OIGCVGGE1PP31Z3Y"
what could be reason?

Hello,
I guess you have not defined the overlapping variant properly.
Please goto the definition of the variant and check for the right DTP input.
Then at the bottom, select second option "Edit all Infocubes with Following Delete Selections"
Click on deletion selections -> select delete existing requests.
Also select if same datasource and source system. and importantly select the radio button as overlapping.
Then save the variant. and try to use it.

hello experts..
i had added indexs to a table and a request is created for that in development system. Now i wanted to delete that request and undo the changes that i had done to the table. when i am trying to delete the request it is showing the message that the object is locked. please tell how to delete the request and undo the changes...

Hi
Retrieve previous version of the table using version management. Delete the index you have created.
then delete the objects that are attached to the transport request, finally delete the transport request. While deleting the objects for the tranpost it will pop-up like so and so object is locked... just continue with the process...
