OBPM process start after UCM check in

Hi People,
I have a problem in my hand like this.
When I check in a document in Oracle UCM a process in Oracle BPM needs to be triggered. This is not synonymous to invoking a BPEL workflow I think. Because I want to publish the document in ucm straight way.
Found a similar thread but that was not answered.
Help required in UCM BPEL integration
Also I did not find much documentation of integrating with BPEL workflow. It is not the current requirement but if we can not do the first then this may be an option. In that case where can I get some good docs.

Hi,
This you can achieve by using events. Create a even in BI, write a code to in R/3 to trigger the BI event.
Schedule the process chain to start based on the event.
This will solve your purpose.

Bw extraction process starting after a process/job in source system

Hello gurus,
I want to start a extraction process (a chain process) in BW system after a background program (job background process) has finished in the source system (which is an R/3 system).
My solution sound like this: I make a RFC function in BW that start the event XX, and planning the process chain to start at event XX (all this in BW side).
In source system I call the RFC function when the desired background process has finish.
I look for another solution (more simple maybe) for my task, or for any another suggestion.

(1) Create an event in the BW system
Define a system event (for example SAP_BW_TRIGGER) with Transaction SM62.
(2) Create a function module in the BW system
Create a function module (for example Z_BW_EVENT_RAISE) with the help of Transaction SE37. For the source code refer to the attachment of this note.
(3) Use the below code in code of the triggered job in the R/3 System.Here BIMCLNT000 is the logical system name of the BI system. you need to cange it to yours.
parameters: rfcdest like rfcdisplay-rfcdest default 'BIMCLNT000'.

JDBC Sender Adapter - NOT FETCHING RECORDS -PROCESSING STARTED

Hello all,
I have set up a JDBC sender adapter .With polling interval as 30 Seconds. Polling is done successfully
but it does not fetch the records .
Valid Data is present in the tables.In the Communication Channel Monitoring log shows :
"Processing Started"
after each poll interval.
Adding to this , it was working fine with the same parameters two days back.
I have enabled the Driver Trace but didnot get any information from Trace.
How to resolve this issue?Any help

Valid Data is there & many records are there to be fetched.
One more thing Normally in the Communication Channel Monitoring
for an JDBC adapter even if there are no records to fetch we get the Log information in detail that :
Polling interval started.
Processing finished successfully

But here in my case am getting only : (polling interval : is 60 Seconds)

HT1349 ITunes failed to start after an upgrade, won't allow me to re-install saying "Apple Mobile Device failed to start, check for sufficient priveleges"

My ITunes library failed to start after an upgrade, now I'm unable to open or re-install. Receive an error message stating that "apple mobile device failed to start, check to see that you have sufficient priveleges to run system". Any help with this? I've tried un-installing and downloading only to get the same message again.

I've run through all the steps of patching EPMA ran the Oracle_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql script per the patch readme. But can't figure out where it's pulling the schema version number from. Any ideas?

you forgot to update the EPMA database. Last step in patching is:
Now, you must run the database upgrade script before starting the process manager.
Run the single database upgrade script that corresponds to your database vendor.

since we've upgraded to NW7 we encounter the problem that process chains start automatically after transporting them from test system to productive system. This ist very unpleasant!
Does anybody encounter this problem too? Ist there a system settig, which disables the automatic start of process chains after transporting?

Process chains execute when transport request imported :Note 1233327 - Correction: Scheduling of immediate start for transport
In order to stop Process Chains from being scheduled immediately upon import, insert the following into the RSADMIN table with ABAP program
SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN:
Object = NO_TP_SCHEDULE_IMMEDIATE
Value = X
After this change is made to the RSADMIN table, you can import Process Chain transports where the Start process variant has it set to be scheduled immediately.
This entry can be modified in the future by the same ABAP program and just changing the value of Object to space.

Make sure you quit all your applications before shutting down.
And try resetting the SMC.

ITunes radio starts playing after I check email. What can I do to stop that from happening. It is a nuisance to open iTunes and pause the song playing.

On my iPhone 5c, after I check email or other apps not related to phone use, frequently iTunes radio starts playing. I have learned to open app and pause the song being played. Is there a way to not have that happen?

The Start(String...) or Start(StartInfo) methods of the Process class are functions that return a Process object that you can then use to manage the process that you started, for instance to stop it with .Kill.
