Observing different behaviour for mashups in Silverlight and HTML5 .

Hello Experts,
Issue:
I am able to see the below implementation work perfectly fine on Silverlight link (SAP UI)of my tenant, but the same is not working on HTML5 link (https://my303782.crm.ondemand.com/sap/public/ap/ui/repository/SAP_BYD_UI/HTML5/client.html)
Details:
I have created an Embedded component which holds an HTML mashup.
The purpose of this mashup is to fetch users' current location(lat/long) and display it on the map.
This lat/long is then to be stored in my local variables.
I am able to accomplish the part of fetching the locations using HTML5 geolocation script,
but when I copy the received values to my local variables,The command works only for Silverlight.
Relevant part of script: (Highlighted command does not work for HTML5 link)
navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(function(position) {
        var pos = new google.maps.LatLng(position.coords.latitude, position.coords.longitude);
      sap.byd.ui.mashup.fireResultUpdate({ 'Latitude': position.coords.latitude, 'Longitude': position.coords.longitude});
Output in Silverlight
Output in HTML5
I do not understand why would the same implementation not work for HTML5 link of the tenant
Please share any thoughts you might have on the reason behind this behaviour.
Warm Regards,
Manasi

  • Subsequent debit - different behaviour for PO based IR and GR based IR

    Hy Guys,
i am facing currently a problem with my understanding of system behaviour for GR Based Invoice Verification in combination with Subsequent Debit Postings...
Example 1 - System Behaviour in case of PO based Invoice Verification:
PO with 3000 PC Material XYZ / Price 10 EUR
Goods Receipt for all 3000 Pieces
    Goods Issue for 2000 Pieces
    Situation is now:
Valuated Material XYZ with Stock Quantity 1000 PC / MAP 10 / Stock Value  = 10.000 EUR
Subsequent Debit Posting for 300 EUR / 3000 PC
Result is that Stock Account is debited with 100 EUR / Price Difference with 200 EUR
    New Situation is:
Valuated Material XYZ with Stock Quantity 1000 PC / MAP 10,1 / Stock Value  = 10.100 EUR
    This makes sense to me!!!
Example 2 - System Behaviour in case of GR based Invoice Verification:
PO with 3000 PC Material XYZ / Price 10 EUR
Seperate Goods Receipt for 1000 PC - three times
    Goods Issue for 2000 Pieces
    Situation is now:
Valuated Material XYZ with Stock Quantity 1000 PC / MAP 10 / Stock Value  = 10.000 EUR
Subsequent Debit Posting for 300 EUR / 3000 PC
Result is that Stock Account is debited with 300 EUR  (But there are only 1000 PC currently on stock!!!!! -  System thinks there are 3000 on stock....)
    New Situation is:
Valuated Material XYZ with Stock Quantity 1000 PC / MAP 10,3 / Stock Value  = 10.300 EUR
In that case i think system behaviour is wrong, because MAP increased to much.
    Any comments? Is this customizable?
    Thanks!
    BR;
    Gregor

    Hi Gregor,
Wellcome to SCN. Please, see SAP Note 308008 - FAQ: Posting logic: GR/IR clearing account, and related notes.

Have new Airport Extreme conneted via ethernet cable from HughesNet Gen4 modem. Using NetGear WN3500RP extender. NetGear asks for different names for the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Most of what I have read indicates extender should have same name as main network? How is it best to configure with the Airport Extreme router 802.11ac?

Different names for the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks are optional, but can be convenient for you to distinguish one from another. It's up to you.

  • How to set different font for numbers in headings and TOCs

    Hi,
I've noticed some people use a different font for numbers in headings and TOCs to get some extra magic. Is there any way to automate such use of fonts in the paragraph styles?
Oh, and any suggestions on what fonts would be good for numbers?
    Thanks!

I was merely continuing on the original theme -- any digit in any character style. It was only later revealed that (a) the OP needed old style figures, and (b) those were available in his font from the start.
The negative lookahead is the answer to his question (copied in full now)
Based on the above InDesignSecrets tutorial, does anyone know what to do if some of the numbers end with a dot or a comma?
Like the Norwegian date format: 13. mai 2009
Or the Norwegian way of pricing items: 2900,-
and my example shows it can be done, but with an added caveat. If digits are to be set in red, using the exceptions the OP asks for, my example sentence will come out as
    "Think of a number between 1 to 10, but don't use 9."
    rather than the (here) intended
    "Think of a number between 1 to 10, but don't use 9."

  • PWA 2010 timesheet: 2 different colors for the rows "Actual " and "Planned

    Hello,
To make timesheet easier to read and fill, is it possible to have 2 different colors for the rows “Actual “ and “Planned”?
    Thanks,
    soudha

    Hello Soudha,
By default the timesheet grid shows the cells in white color. But if you have little coding skills or a developer at your end, you can try this using "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\JsGrid.js" java
    script file.
You may have to modify it but I recommend to take a backup of the file and test in your test environment first.
    Happy troubleshooting.....

  • Different resolutions for Macbook Pro display and External display

Is it possible to have different resolutions for a Macbook Pro and an external display. I prefer to see less but larger on my Macbook Pro whilst seeing more but smaller on my external display. I use the DVI output to connect to an Acer 22in display.
    Thanks in advance

I've actually tried that process and it doesn't work; I still get the same display qualities on both. Perhaps that process might work if one is not mirroring. Maybe there is a compatibility issue between my Macbook Pro and the Acer 223W. I'll persevere, but thanks for your help anyway.
    Ian
    Hi Ian,
    allow me to chime in:
    You are absolutely correct!
In 'Mirroring Mode' both internal and external display have the same resolution.
Only in 'Extended Mode' you can have different resolutions for both displays.

  • Filter the content on different queries for the same infoprovider and user

    Hello,
We are trying to make the following security scenario in BI, and have
problem with the analysis object concept to filter at query level.
The idea is to permit to :
    - user A
      - to execute query Q1 and view information about sites 1,2,3
      - to execute query Q2 and view information about sites 4,5,6
but for example for another user :
    - user B
      - to execute query Q1 and view information about site 1,3
      - to execute query Q2 and view information about site 5,6,7
Q1 and Q2 are queries from the same infoprovider.
The idea is to make an automatic generation of analysis objects based
on the standard program : RSEC_GENERATE_AUTHORIZATIONS.
During tests, we have faced a problem with the object 0TCTQUERY that we
thought will permit us to filter at the query level, but unless we add
the name on the query on a role in the S_RS_COMP authorization object,
field RSZCOMPID, the query is not granted to the user.
The fact that we use both authorization objects : one for the query
definition, and another for the analysis authorization concept
(S_RS_AUTH, field BIAUTH), has disastrous effect : all values given in
the analysis objects are for all queries of an indicated infoprovider.
With that system, it's then not possible to propose dynamically different
views of the same data (ie from same infoprovider) based on the
authorization concept unless using the technic of customer-exit variable,
but with variable you will have a problem with old queries that doesn't
have a variable and that will permit to see all data given in the new
    authorization objects.
Is there exists another object to filter at the query level in the
analysis objects ? If it's not the case, what is possible to do to reach
our goal with the new authorization concept ?
Thank you in advance for your help.
    Best regards,
    Gaël.

The data is protected on infoprovider level and not on the query level,  so when two querys are build from the same Infoprovider then the authorizations are the same,
To achieve what you want to do,  the querys must be built off different providers.   This can be achieved by placing the infoprovider in 2 differnt multiproviders and building the querys and authorizations seperatly on these.

  • How to use different parameters for two tables(chart and Table) in one report in SSRS?

    Hi,
Here is my requirement, i have 7 parameters in my report(Site,Account,LOB,year,Month,WeekDay and Date_Filter),
and in my report i have one table and one Chart,
my requirement is the table in the report has to show the data for 6 parameters only i.e(Site,Account,LOB,year,Month and WeekDay).so the table has to consider only 6 parameters, and it has ignore the 7th parameter, table should not consider Date_Filter parameter.
And Chart has to consider all 7 parameters.
so, when we preview the report table has to show the data for only 6 parameters and chart has to show the data for all 7 parameters.
if there is a way to get this Please reply me ASAP, it is an urgent requirement.

  • Possible Bug? Different behaviour for List and Set one-to-many mappings on deletePersistent()

    Hi,
I have a PC class that represents a TreeNode object (a GcGroup), which
has a one-to-many relationship with itself to keep track of its descendants.
    For example a hierarchy of A -> B -> C, where A has B,C as descendants
and B has C as a descendant. This is tracked by adding or removing a
descendant with a recursive method to update a TreeNode's parent's
descendants when a child is added or removed.
The odd behaviour happens when I delete a child and try to remove the
child manually from all my parent's descendant relations when I use a
HashSet (possibly happens with any Set). In this case kodo will remove
the relations with the following SQL statement:
    DELETE FROM TREENODE_DESCENDANTSX JDOIDX = xxxx;
So when I do my recursive call I get a JDOException thrown stating that
the object xxxx has already been deleted.
When I change the relationship to an ArrayList this exception is not
thrown and I do not get the error.
Looking at the SQL generated they look the same:

  • RMAUTH-Different behaviour for Change and display mode

    Dear friends,
I modified a standard roadmap by copying it and added 1 folder called "X" with normal node and saved.
When i go for display mode in RMAUTH, I am unable to see that folder. If i go to change mode i am able to see the folder "X".
Even in RMMAIN I couldnt see it,But if i go to change-->Scope option i could able to see it & has the tick mark in it.
    Plz provide ur valuable solutions.

    Hi,
You cannot change any of the field you mentioned in infotype 0001.
You can assign a position using action 0000 through PA40 or by using copy option infotype 0000 in PA30. This will be in edit mode.
Suggested to use PA40 so that all other relevant infotypes can also be updated accordingly.
Rest of the components (Objects Job, Cost Center, Org unit etc)  has to be assigned to the respective position in PO13-->Relation ships.
Note: Take care of the dates.
    Regards,
    Pranitha

  • Airport express different names for 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz channels??

I have a airport express router and I recently purchased a smart bluray player. When I try to connect my bluray player to my wireless network it shows both the 2.4 and 5 GHz channels which have the same SSID. I select the 5 GHz channel, connect to it and after connected it shows that I'm connected to the 2.4 GHz channel and my bluray player tells me that it would work better on a 5 GHz network. Is there anyway to give each channel a different name/SSID so that I can definitely only connect to the 5 GHz channel???

Is there anyway to give each channel a different name/SSID so that I can definitely only connect to the 5 GHz channel???
Yes, assuming that you are running the Lion or Mountain Lion operating system on your Mac.....
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utiliity
Click on the AirPort Express icon, then click Edit
Click the Wireless tab at the top of the window
Click the Wireless Options button near the bottom of the window
Enter a check mark next to 5 GHz name and this will assign the same SSID with "5 GHz" added the name.
Click Save, then click Update and allow a full minute for the AirPort Express to restart
However.....unless the Blu-Ray player is quite close the AirPort Express, or it has direct line of sight with the AirPort Express, the 2.4 GHz band will likely provide both a stronger and faster signal.
If the Blu-Ray player is connecting at 2.4 GHz now, it is probably thinking that 2.4 GHz is the stronger and also possibly faster signal.
This is because 5 GHz signals are much weaker than 2.4 GHz signals, and as a result, the 5 GHz signals are absorbed much more quickly by any obstructions like walls, ceilings, or heavy furniture, etc. in the signal path.
The bottom line....connecting at 5 GHz does not necessarily provide a better connection....but you can give it try to see if you notice any improvement.
If you don't mind spending 4-5 dollars for a good WiFI utility like WiFi Explorer, which will display the actual Signal to Noise ratio of the wireless signal, and you want to go at this a bit more scientifically, post back for more info.

  • Different behaviour between activity "Change Production" and web-service

    Hello!
We are using SAP ME 5.2.6.1 (SP06 Patch 1) - the newest version of SAP ME 5.2
In activity "Change Production" (SU540) it is possible to change shop order, material and router of SFC's.
This also works for SFC's in status DONE if the following activity rule is set
    ALLOW_DONE_SFCS = TRUE.
Nevertheless if the same is tried via "Production XML" or with the given web service an error is displayed
and the operation is not performed.
When using "Production XML" the following error is shown:
Cannot change Done SFCs (Message 15050)
When using the web service (http://<host>:<port>/manufacturing-services/ProductionServiceService)
the same error occurs. I think the web service is the prefered way in the future.
For me it seems that only with the GUI activity SU540 the rule "ALLOW_DONE_SFCS = TRUE" is effective.
But should the behaviour not be identical regardless if this was initiated from the GUI or from the web service?
So is this something like a bug or is it "behaviour by design"?
If the latter is the case:
Is there a workaround possible to achieve the same outcome via webservice?

    Hello!
From the SAP ME Transaction Log Report:
Concerning the "Production XML" interface - it uses the ChangeProduction EJB.
I assume the web service internally will do the same ...

  • Different results for the same query and same data !  (oracle 9i)

    Hi,
This is a mystery for me. I've got on my database exactly the same data that my customer (exported schema). We both launch the same query (generated by the software that we sold him). This query has a criteria IN (SELECT MAX()...) to get only data from the last year.
The query gives 477 rows on my computer (correct answer), but no row on his! We have the same data! The only difference is the Oracle release : 9.2.0.6.0 for him, 9.2.0.1.0 for me.
If he executes the subquery alone, it gives the expected result.
If he replaces the MAX() in the subquery by the returned value (year 2016), he gets his 477 rows.
I've rewritten the query with a NOT EXISTS, and now all is fine. (Less efficient but it works).
I have no rational explication. Did I miss something ?
    Thanks for any answer.
    This is the query:
    SELECT ...
    FROM
    CRA, GRA, ...
    WHERE
    /* subselect */
    (CRA.COLLCOD, CRA.CRANEXE, CRA.CRANCODBUD, CRA.GRANNUM, CRA.CRANCOD1, CRA.CRANCOD2, CRA.CRANCOD3, CRA.CRANCOD4)
    IN (
    SELECT b.COLLCOD, MAX(cranexe), b.CRANCODBUD, b.GRANNUM, b.CRANCOD1, b.CRANCOD2, b.CRANCOD3, b.CRANCOD4
    FROM CRA b
    GROUP BY b.COLLCOD, b.CRANCODBUD, b.GRANNUM, b.CRANCOD1, b.CRANCOD2, b.CRANCOD3, b.CRANCOD4
AND... /* other filters and joins */

v9.2.0.1 was full of bugs. a lot of these bugs had to do with "incorrect results", typically associated with old stats or complex queries (certain types of subqueries were very likely to give wrong resutls, due to the way they were rewritten by the optimizer).
    apply the 9.2.0.6 patch set

  • Unexpected behaviour for Crystal Reports 2011 and publications

I had publication based on crystal reports 2008 hosted on a bobj 3.1 box.
The report was reporting off a BW Query and the publication list was also based on a BW query.
When it ran is successfully drop the reports on a share in pdf format.
I've upgraded the crystal reports to 2011 and they are now hosted on bobj4.0 box. I can run both reports successfully on their own.
Now I try to create a publication.
I am able to select the source report, but as soon as I try to select my the report for my dynamic recipients I get the following error message
Cannot open report document. --- Item SI_FALLBACK_LOCALE was not found in the collection. [CRCAF00000004]
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
You do not state the patch level of the BI4.0 system, I would advise you to test with one of the later BI4.0 Patch levels i.e. Patch 2.4 or Patch 2.5 if possible as there have been some fixes in relation to publications which may help.
Alternatively can you open the Dynamic Recipient report in the CR2011 designer, refresh it, republish it back to BI4.0 repository. Then schedule the Dynamic Recipient report on it's own and try recreating the publication again - does it work?
    The error:
"Cannot open report document. --- Item SI_FALLBACK_LOCALE was not found in the collection."
suggests there is some kind of mismatch between the locale used in the upgraded CR2011 report and the BI4.0 system.
Were the XI3.1 environment and the BI4.0 environment installed with the same selection of Language Packs? If not you could bring the BI4.0 system in line with the XI3.1 system in terms of language packs and retest. However as Language Packs can not be added post BI4.0 installation that would require a reinstallation of BI4.0.
Also if you create a simple test Dynamic Recipient report in BI4.0 does this work? That would at least confirm there is some type of corruption in the migrated BI4.0 Dynamic recipient reports.
    Kind regards,
    John

  • Configure different sleep behaviour for AC Adapter/Battery?

    Hello,
quick and easy (I hope) question: is there a way to configure a different behaviour for system sleep depending on current power source?
I'd like to prevent system sleeping while on AC adapter while leaving it enabled while on battery.
    Thx
    William

    Hello Capt,
my fault: I forgot to mention I'm trying to get different behaviour on lid close event.
Thx for you  answer by the way
