Occurred while executing line 5 of valid BeanShell script
Hello Everyone,
I am a newbie to Endeca Guided Search. I had created a new Developer project.
I updated its input source, Properties and Dimension. after doing this when i go to my application directory
C:\apps\TestApp\control> and try to execute initialize_services.batb
I am getting the following error.
[06.20.12 12:15:57] SEVERE: Utility 'emgr_update_update_mgr_settings' failed. Re
fer to utility logs in [ENDECA_CONF]/logs/shell on host ITLHost.

[06.20.12 12:15:57] SEVERE: Caught an exception while invoking method 'run' on o

some one please help me solve this.
following is the Dgraph1's configuration from AppConfig.xml
<dgraph id="Dgraph1" host-id="MDEXHost" port="15000">

<property name="updateGroup" value="a" />

some one please help me solve this.
Usually this happens when a under privileged user tries to access particular service, or folders.
Please try
1) Grant user access to the service account (since it is windows) if current user is not local administrator.
2) Check out folder permissions
3) Check your system path
We had faced similar problems of ‘Releasing locks’ where some changes were made by "root" user and the service was expecting "endeca" user(On Linux system). The solution that worked for us was to taking ownership of the entire endeca installation directory to "endeca" user.

Hi i have deployed a sandbox solution using visual stdio2012 on share-point 2013 site at my local machine. when i tried to add web parts from custom folder to web part zone following error comes "An unknown exception occurred while executing a sand
boxed code solution request in the worker process."
how ever this is working on sharepoint online site. but not only on my local sharepoint site
Can anyone help me . reply will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Ritu RanjanGuYuming,
You have not yet addressed the original issue, please DO NOT mark this as answered. The suggestion to use the ulsviewer would only help in finding out more about the issue, but will not solve the unknown exception. I have been able to duplicate
the problem in my Development Environment and it seems to be related to permissions or running the SP 2013 "Development" environment on a Windows Server 2012 Domain Controller (to support single machine development).
Ritu Ranjan,
I found a post with a similar issue but might be related to this post as well.
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/b7408608-c21b-45d9-bc16-e6afff510cd2. I tried switching the User Code Host account from the farm account to the App Pool account but the error stays the same.
Here is information from the ULS to provide more details to anyone who would like to help resolve this issue:

Sysprep - "Failure occurred while executing drmv2clt.dll" - Fix
I don't usually have problems running sysprep, but the first time I ran it on a Windows 7 (BETA Ultimate 32bit) PC I received an error that Sysprep could not continue and was halted. I went to c:\windows\system32\sysprep\panther and opened the setuperr.log file. (Actually, Windows won't let you open this file (!) so copy it out of this directory, then open it.) There was not much in the file, just a few lines referencing drmv2clt.dll.
2009-04-20 13:37:55, Error [0x0f0082] SYSPRP LaunchDll:Failure occurred while executing 'drmv2clt.dll,Sysprep', returned error code -2147024864[gle=0x00000020]
2009-04-20 13:37:55, Error [0x0f0070] SYSPRP RunExternalDlls:An error occurred while running registry sysprep DLLs, halting sysprep execution. dwRet = -2147024864[gle=0x00000020]

I searched the MS KB, and sadly, could find nothing. Then I Googled some of the above and found a couple of references to this. They mentioned that drmv2clt.dll is associated with Digital Rights Management and this error in Sysprep could be fixed by disabling Media Sharing in Windows Media Player. That seemed odd. This Windows 7 PC was setup just to test Sysprep and imaging. We didn't even start or configure Windows Media Player. I also had no idea how to disable Media Sharing in Media Player?? This time I went to Windows Help and searched it, but sadly, it too had no information. I once again Googled this and found out how to disable Media Sharing in Media Player. It is a service that is configured to automatically start at boot up.
Click Start > Run, type Services.msc to open the Services applet.
Scroll down to Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, double click it, change the Startup type to Disabled. Click OK.
Reboot the PC
Once I did this, I re-ran Sysprep (sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:sysprepdomainWin7.xml) and it ran without error.
Seems like a sysprep bug. I don't think this is a Win7 thing since the fix for this I read was from a BDD 2007 document. Oh, and if you want to know how to fix problems in Windows, use Google.
Yes, for a company that has a long and challenged history of omnipotence I have come to expect these information black holes as a technician. I have been working with MS and also with Windows since DOS 2.2 and I recall the DOS 4.0 debacle. It was the beginning
of the use of "Hi-memory" area. They had created the ability to use hi-memory (introduced by Compaq) but they didn't bother to reserve or map what was in memory. So when DOS went to retrieve information loaded in memory it either was overwritten, or could
not be located. Thus, all machines locked! I worked with a couple engineers from UC Irvine who identified and resolved the problem Windows. I recall working at WB and I introduced Windows ADS, well ultimately we had to migrate from one machine to another.
There was an information store containing the data of active directories configuration and security called the "DIT" in restoring ADS I ran into a wall. There was no documentation on how to move the DIT, the core of ADS's information. Well I finally got to
a high level technician that could work with me to relocate and document the procedure. If you are familiar with UNIX then you understand that the user community documents and tests new code. Just inherent part of computing. So I am not surprised that they
have left us to resolve this issue ourselves.
Of course they are now pushing AZURE and online storage which could be why they aren't assisting us with this issue.
the only time is now! -

Hello all,
Not the most descriptive title, granted. I'm hoping this may prompt the next version toprovide additional valuable content.
Kindly requesting any help on this problem. I'm running VMM 2012 R2 version 3.2.7668
When I try to look at properties of an existing Private Cloud, I get this error, only if I "look" at certain attributes. If I stay away from the specific attributes, everything is hunky dory. For reasons unknown, after I get this error, I have
to exit and go back into VMM in order to get anything else to run.
The text in the error dialogue box is not entirely applicable because I was connected to the VMM server and will connect again, when I exit/relaunch.

When trying to deploy a sandboxed solution containing only a feature with a simple associated event receiver from VS 2013, I'm getting the following error:
Error occurred in deployment step 'Add Solution': An unknown exception occurred while executing a sandboxed code solution request in the worker process.\r\n|0
I'm working in Visual Studio 2013, deploying to SharePoint 2013.
The SharePoint project is very basic. I've only added a feature and an associated event receiver. It works without the event receiver. Then after I simply add the event receiver I get the error.
I've tried deploying directly from VS 2013 as well as publishing to a .WSP and uploading via web interface. Same error reported using both methods. I'm doing this using an Administrator account that I've confirmed is a site collection administrator.
Additionally, I've found that if I change Sandboxed Solution to False, deploy it, retract it, then change Sandboxed Solution back to True, then I can successfully deploy it. But this doesn't seem to be a permanent solution as the error will resurface a day
or two later...Hi Steve,
Are you running your SharePoint 2013 on domain controller?

I'm installing the SCSM2012 Management Server
component on a SQL dev box. During the installation, the very last step (Import Management Packs) fails with this error:
An error occurred while executing a custom action:_PopulateUserRoles
This upgrade attempt has failed before permanent modifications were made. Upgrade has successfully rolled back to the original state of the system. Once the correction are made, you can retry upgrade for this role.
I've already verified that the account I'm logged in with has SA access to the SQL database. Windows 2008 R2 firewall is turned off.....
Has anybody else run into this problem?I don't see anything indicative in the setup log. The setup seems to get all the way to the part where it installs the management packs. Then right after that is when the installation fails and it rolls back.
From the setup log, towards the end:

An error occurred while executing a custom action:_PopulateUserRoles
I am trying to install Service Manager 2012 RTM onto a brand new server 2008r2. The purpose is to replace the other Data Management server that is giving me problems upgrading to service pack1. I go through the setup and connect to the SQL server and
the database that has my existing DM. I am using the same credentials and everything is the same. It goes all the way to the end and I get an error :
An error occurred while executing a custom action:_PopulateUserRoles
This upgrade attempt has failed before permanent modifications were made. Upgrade has successfully rolled back to the original state of the system. Once the correction are made, you can retry upgrade for this rollAfter this error, I reran setup and used the domain admin account instead of the Service Manager Admins group I created in AD. The error did not happen again, but I did get the "Setup cannot complete - RollbackCleanup"
error. This was fixed by following this link: "http://www.cireson.com/scsm/scsm-an-error-occurred/" and this MS article: "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922918/en-us".
These are the steps (I had to create the DWORD 32 bit):
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click
OK.
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
In the right pane, locate the ServicesPipeTimeout entry.
Note If the ServicesPipeTimeout entry does not exist, you must create it. To do this, follow these steps:
On the Edit menu, point to
New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type ServicesPipeTimeout, and then press ENTER.
Right-click ServicesPipeTimeout, and then click Modify.
Click Decimal, type 60000, and then click
OK.
This value represents the time in milliseconds before a service times out.
Restart the computer.
Hope this helps!
BR,
Robert

ODBC error occurred while executing SQLExtendedFetch to retrieve the result
Good morning everyone,
I had the following error message while trying to run a simple query in Answers with 3 dimensional columns, 1 fact, and 4 calculated facts...
"State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 16001] ODBC error state: S1001 code: 0 message: [Oracle][ODBC]Memory allocation error.. [nQSError: 16011] ODBC error occurred while executing SQLExtendedFetch to retrieve the results of a SQL statement. (HY000)
It's taking around 2,5 minutes to run, then it give that error message.
Has anyone got any ideas on where I should get started?
Update: after 2nd time - it's running fine....I've added a filter...could this be the issue? Too many rows initially?Damon,
you were correct - it was indeed an ODBC issue. Switching to OCI has fixed the issue. This link was also very helpful:
regarding performance
In my case, the problem with OCI happened because I was using System DSN name instead of how it's called in tnsnames. -
Retail Execution 3.2 Failure occurred while executing user supplied code in the server
Hello,
I am having sync issues while trying to sync data between device and CRM server.
I can register the device in SUP and the app navigates to the home screen of the Rex application. When I try to perform a customer sync for example I get this error in the SUP logs.
2014-07-15 16:26:19.831 ERROR Mobilink Thread-213 [com.sybase.ml.sup.Logger] [-10225] Failure occurred while executing user supplied code in the server
I read on some other post for some other package that the issue was that the package deployed to the SUP server didnt match the application version on the device.
So I went to the SAP marketplace and downloaded the patch for SUP and Rex.
I patched the SUP server to 2.3 SP4.
I then tried deploying the patch for the Rex MBO but get the error below.
Anyone know a way around this?
Regards
JaredHello,
Apply the Patch-10510 as per SAP note 1999833 to resolve this error. The patch has to be asked via OSS to component MOB-SUP-RT.
Best Regards,
Rajat. -

Hello all,
I execute a T-SQL query, which will retrieve large amount of data, however, I get an error message after a few seconde.
The error message is :
An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: There is not enough space on the disk.
Who can tell me the reason and waht's the steps to solve this issue ?
Really thanks.
Thanks, Jed dengThe other two posters suggested that the problem with tempdb or you data/log files. This is not the case here. The error message relates to the client-side of things. Apparently SSMS needs to store data on disk. I don't recall exactly when this happens,
but I seem to recall that the files appear in you %TEMP% directory.
I would suggest that your correct action is to clean up the disk. Not the least there may be a lot of junk in your %TEMP% and %TMP% directories.
Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, [email protected]
Thanks Erland, I was not aware of this earlier. Now, I am able to find out one of the resons for slowness of SSMS gird. Also, I have just checked it with process monitor, SSMS is creating tmp%.tmp files..
