Oci_connect() not found thru Eclipse

hello
I used the Eclipse to write a php file to invoke oci_connect() and although I can see oci_connect() in my list of PHP functions, but when run the php script, it complains that oci_connect() is not found. Here is the error message
Debug Error: banklogic.php line 59 - Call to undefined function oci_connect()
can anyone help ?

Check the output of the phpinfo() function in PHP. Check php was compiled with oci8 or you have enabled and/or built the oci8 shared library (depending on your platform). Check you have Oracle client libraries e.g. Oracle Instant Client.

Plugin not found in eclipse

In Windows 7 32-bit I just installed the latest eclipse (Indigo) and flash builder (4.6). Following the plugin install instructions I ran the utility program. When I run eclipse nothing indicates that it found the plugin -- nothing in perspectives or views menus, nothing in the install history/plugins. Looking in my eclipse dropin directory I see a .link file to the flash builder directory.
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

And now I know the answer (I hope)......
1) On windows 7, life is a LOT easier if Eclipse is NOT located in "Program Files". Put it in the root, as in "/eclipse".
2) Through trial and error it seems that Flash Builder 4.6 does NOT work with the latest Eclipse, which is 4.7.1. It does seem to work fine with 4.7.0 (i.e. the same version distributed with the almost 1GB download -- who thought that was a good idea?). With Eclipse 3.7.1, playing around with the Flash preferences randomly crashes Eclipse (I have not seen an Eclipse crash in many years -- kudos to Adobe).
3) It seems that some of the Eclipse defaults under Flash Builder are off. Under instaled flex sdks I had to manually point it to the right directories.

Not finding Mozilla Firefox in android market place and site not found thru default browser either Feb. 11, 2011

I want to install Firefox on my htc droid. I searched market place; not found. When I use default browser on the phone (google) and type in url as instructed on website, I get site not found.

Main Not found in Eclipse Editor

Hello Guys!
I am trying to run a simple java program in Eclipse for the first time, and it is giving me the error:
" The active editor does not contain mail type".
I am confused as where is the problem.

Epson Printer Not Found thru Extreme Anymore

Connected my Epson C66 to the airport extreme; ran the bonjour software to recognize the printer, worked fine for a while, my Macbook prints to the Epson fine, but my PC will not recognize the printer at all anymore. Any advise on this?

What id try first is make sure the Airport Extreme sees the Printer; however if the Mac sees the printer and is able to print to it on the fly then we know the airport sees it. So from what i can see the PC was able to print to the printer for awhile now doesnt. Was this printer ever connected to the PC directly at one time? If not when the printer was added on the PC had you installed the software for the printer?

Payment Method supplement is not found while posting invoice thru' F-43

I have configured Vendor Account group (OBD3) & created a vendor account (XK01).While posting thru' T code F-43,an error "Enter payment method supplement in line item 001" is found.But, payment method supplement field is not found while posting.Please solve my problem.

In F-43 when you enter the document & posting date, company code, currency , And Vendor number PRESS ENTER it will take you to next screen There you can find the PAYMENT METHOD tab under invoice reference .

Error : class not found exception : com.mysql.jdbc.driver in Eclipse Tool

I have impoted project file in eclipse in new machine using option import from existing workbence . When i stat to debug this project ,
i am getting error as class not found exception : com.mysql.jdbc.driver . my project folder already consist of mysql .jar file in /web appls/web-inf folder.
Application is running successfully in other machine from where i took the application file. As this error appeared I also added jar file into project path as Project ---->properties-- build java path---libraries----add external jar file.

Sounds like an eclipse question - not a JDBC one.
But since eclipse is telling you it can't find it then it means it is not in the eclipse path. So you must add it. (The fact that it is somewhere is irrelevant - all that matters is it is not in the class path.)

Class not found., Eclipse

Hi erveryone.
I wanted to use some classes in my eclipse project. So i made a jar archive. And added as a external library. So now i dont get any compile error when im using classes in my project. But when i want to run the code i get Class not Found.
(My code is under folder proj/test/src/prog.java
and class for prog.java is proj/test/bin/prog.class. But cant find the other classes wich is in test/*.classes)
Does the Jar structure have to be the same package structure as project code (prog.java)??
How can i Sove the problem. To use some classes in the project.

If you have used third party library (just like jdom or etc) , it may caused by bundle invalid or project information broken error.
When I make project , and linked with library , and remove library from project (without any source code editting) , then the project information will be broken in eclipse plug in project.
I want to fix it, but I can't . I don't know why. I just know I couldn't find project bundle information and even I remove eclipse and install again, it occurs with same name project.
Delete ./metadata in workspace directory, and make a new project without third party library or if one linked , don't remove. I know only this.

Check /var/abs/extra/eclipse/eclipse.install. Typo in post_remove: post-install should be post_install. You can run the post_install manually (and maybe report this in the bug tracker), but it just updates the gtk icon cache, so it's nothing to worry about.

Not able to view the Spaces home page; getting Page not found message

Hi All,
I am facing this peculiar issue.
Post installation of webcenter, I can access the Webcenter Spaces homepage.
I log into webcenter as admin and configure a Mail Connection. I start and stop the Webcenter Spaces deployment. Now I don't see the Webcenter spaces Home page.
Error on page -

DADs on WLS 11g (version 10.3.6.0) do not work (Error 404--Not Found)

Actually we use Application Server 10g (version 10.1.2.3.0) for different Forms 10g Applications (roundabout 1000 Forms) and want to change to Forms 11g and Weblogic Server 11g (version 10.3.6.0). A Test-Application on the Weblogic Server works fine, but DAD’s do not work at all.
In Enterprise Manager 10g i can configure DADs within the GUI of the Enterprise Manager, where i can see, if a connection could be established or not.
In Enterprise Manager 11g Fusion Middleware Control this doesn't seem to exist anymore, so i tried to configure the DADs manually, but something has to be wrong or missing, because there is no connection to the database and the following error appears:

I added several DAD’s to /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/mod_plsql/dads.conf like this:

The passwords were obfuscated with dadTool.pl and the http-Server restarted with /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=OHS
The files /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/mod_plsql.cache.conf and /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/moduleconf.plsql.conf were left unchanged.
Our Test-Application generates the following link

that seems to be ok, because when i replace IP and port with our old IAS it works fine, but the WebLogic Server generates the above mentioned error.
To get some more information i searched an error_log in /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/diagnostics/logs/OHS/ohs1 but there isn’t any.
I used the following Documentation for configuring the DADs which is for HTTP Server 11g Release 1 (version 11.1.1), because I could not find one for version 10.3.6.0:

So probably there are differences between configuring version 10.3.6.0 and version 11.1.1 and so something is wrong configured or missing...

Hi Raj,
it is a Sparc Solaris 10
and yes that's my enviorment.
After some more tests it's seems it's not a real bug but no realy nice working solution.
Eclipse uses for all instances the same secure storage, where OEPE also saves the password.
And if I look right the pasword was saved without the user context, so if you use an other user he takes the same password from the old user.
and I doesn't know how do OEPE check the connection in reality or only reply the last failed login message.
After deleting the complete secure storage and test it again with the juno version it works well.

JB-3300-cfgration file-demo/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath.

JSP class not found in WL7.1Sp1

          Environment : Windows 2000 with Wl 7.1 Sp1
          I have sucessfully deployed an J2EE 1.2 compliant ear file with 2 war files and
          1 jar file containing beans and 1 jar file containing util classes. All the war
          and jar file include appropriate weblogic 7.1 specific xml files and the beans
          contain WL generated stubs and skeleton. The war files define a context each.
          I sucessfully deploying the application and verified that the contexts are registered
          and was able to access the *.gif files from the defined contexts through the brower.
          But when I try to access the jsp pages from the context, I get the error message

looks a problem regarding classpath settings
The directory upto which the packaging starts
should be in the class path.
for e.g
..\Appl
|__ com...
Here packaging starts from under dir Appl
Just add Appl to u'r classpath and it should compile

File not found error (404) from web browser

I installed 901 DB on different Oracle home and iAS 1.0.2.2 in a
different Oracle home. The ifsconfig went thru fine.
However I am unable to access the login page ( I executed
ifsapachesetup ). I tried to access
http://<machine>:<port>/servlet/files.
I see the following error in Jserv.log
ajp12: Servlet Error: NoClassDefFoundError:
oracle.ifs.protocols.dav.impl.IfsDavServlet
On the browser I get File not found error ( HTTP 404 )
Do I need to perform additional steps on Solaris machine ( apart
from executing apache setup script ).
Please help me.

Make sure you have started all the services:
- ifsjservctl -start
- ifslaunchdc
- ifslaunchnode
- ifsstartdomain
all are in the iFS bin directory.
