ODBC installation; test fails with IM004

I'm having trouble getting an ODBC connection to a remote Oracle 8i databse. I have installed the Oracle8 ODBC Driver release 8.1.7.7.0. When I click "Test Connection" in the ODBC driver configuration window, I'm getting:
Unable to Connect
SQLState=IM004
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed.
The PC that this is occurring on is Windows 2000 Professional. From that machine, I'm able to access the Oracle database via SQL*Plus and via JDBC. I'm also able to TNSping the Oracle database.
I'm a member of the Administrator's Group. %ORACLE_HOME%\bin is in my path. It is in the system path. I have write access to the %ORACLE_HOME% directory.
I am using the Oracle 9.1 client at the recommendation of our Oracle database hosting provider. I tried to install the 9.2.0.4 driver but that resulted in an error (no more detail than that) from the Universal Installer.
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to use a version of the Oracle ODBC driver which is matched to the version of the Oracle client you have. If you have a 9.0 Oracle client, you need a 9.0.1.x Oracle ODBC driver. If you have a 9.2 Oracle client, you need a 9.2.0.x Oracle ODBC driver.

Hi All, anyone with this problem with Acrobat Pro XI, IM USING MAC, also Yosemite if that helps.
Also Adobe CC, BASICALLY IT just quit and i had to uninstall, re install, and I get this

Same problem. Creative Cloud subscriber running Mac 10.10.2 on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014). All apps work fine EXCEPT for Adobe Acrobat XI. I have tried 100 times and 100 solutions. NOTHING works.

This prevents the NPE but for non-servlet endpoints you need to be sure to define your users/roles in Weblogic's default security realm. The test was failing because login was failing, most likely because the regression server wasn't fully configured.

Abobe CCP installer packages failing with DW040 errors

At my company, we are running into problems with some Creative Cloud installer packages for Mac created with CCP, some of the time.
When installing the package locally from the desktop, the Installer.app fails with this message:
'Install Failed' UI displayed message:'The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.'
An example of the Adobe Setup Error.log is attached. It includes:
ERROR: DW040: The product "{C3409B0A-ACE8-11E2-9ED3-A79B9175A9A8}" is not installed. Cannot proceed with the uninstall
Please search the above error/warning string(s) to find when the error occurred.
These errors resulted in installer Exit Code mentioned below.
Exit Code: 33 - The product is not installed, cannot uninstall.
Please see specific errors and warnings for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW040 ...
Similar messages with other product IDs occur appear in the log.
The package that I’m having this issue with was built with the following components:
Bridge CC
InCopy CC
InDesign CC
Illustrator CC
Photoshop CC
Is anyone familiar with this error and is there a way to resolve?

But the mystery is that the main set of JDBC tests (outside of samples) in CTS1.4.1 are running fine.
One difference I notice is that the tests that are failing use "createManagedConnection".
The main configurations file "ts.jte" present under %TS_HOME%\bin has all the settings correct. Thats why the main JDBC tests go through fine.
I wonder where these failing tests pick up the bad "address" from.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to add Citrix LoadBalancer (NSVPX-HyperV-10.1-119.7_nc) in VMM 2012 R2 and on click of test button, only the "Retrieve-LBSystemInfo" test is failing with Error Code 21426 and exception as below. Whereas, rest of

Your problem sounds similar to this one, except that they're using software raid rather than just pure LVM. If you're using an initrd, you may not have the appropriate modules installed. If you're not using an initrd, then the kernel probably needs LVM support compiled in (not as a module) and could be solved by fixing that. I have never used the ck-patchset, but this should give you an additional data point.
Also comment=systemd.automount will be deprecated soon as I understand it; if you have a need for automounting, x-systemd.automount should be used instead.

Oracle Test Manager - Import of Manual Tests - Fails with ORA-12520:

This issue occurs when we are trying to import manual tests into the Oracle Test Manager.
The import fails when we try to import more than 300 records. The error message in the log
is as shown below:
Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed
ORA-12520: TNS:listener could not find available handler for requested type of server

No one can logon to the application after this.
According to the DBA the application is using up all the processes in the Database and hence it fails.
When we restart the application service, the number of processes in the database goes down
and the application goes back to normal state.
We keep running into this issue when we try to import >=300 manual tests. (This is not an issue
when runs are imported.)
Anybody else facing this issue? Any ideas as to how this can be resolved?

I had some problems with. So, consider the following:
Simple XLS file :
testname     owner     testdescription               Expected Result
test1          wayne     Login into User Homepage     User can view login prompt
               View Accout Details          User can see account details
               Create simple report          User has access to reports section
               Save as pdf               .pdf generate button is available
               send email               email button is active
               log off                    User can View log off page
So we have four fields, teatname,owner,testdescription and Expected Result.
When we import a test (select Test tab, then project->import data, and select .xls file)
Make sure Select Type is set to Manual Tests
Map      testname -> TestCase ID
     owner -> Owner
     testdescription -> Test Step Action
     Expected Result -> Test step expected result
Make sure Select Type is set to Manual Tests. You should then see one test with all the steps.

Recent installation update fails with Yosemite

Thanks for getting back to me on this.
So I downloaded the installer with the link you provide below.
Not happening.
That installer loads into my downloads folder, I open it, click on the installer, enter my admin password, click “yes”_ it opens and the installation bar pops up_ and then it just stops!
When I come out the window a prompt pops up and tells me the installations failed.
This is driving me crazy!
Any more ideas?

VI analyzer: Wire under object test fails with Call Library Function Nodes

Hi,
If I wire a Call Library Function Node with an ErrorIn and an ErrorOut, the VI Analyzer Test "Wire under Object" fails always with two occurrences per Call Library Function Node.
A double click to the occurrence highlights the error lines connected with the call... node.
The test does not fail, if the error lines are not connected.

This became a problem when Call Library Nodes got error terminals (and optional path terminals) in LabVIEW 8.20. I should be able to get a fix in to VI Analyzer Toolkit 2010.

ConfigMgr 2012 Agent Installation permanently failed with Error 1603

We have some clients, where the agent must be reinstalled. But it fails permanently with Error 1603. I have tried the following steps allready:
Delete the CCMSETUP and CCM Folder and start from scratch
Repair WMI by deleting root\ccm
Recreated the WMI Repository
Register all *.dll and *.mof in WBEM
Cleaned up with the ccmclean Tool
We use SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3
The error happens on Vista and Windows 7
From the logs, it looks that something went wrong with the ccmexec service, but I'm not sure. In the Eventlogs are some entries from the Search Service that the Service unexpectly stopped. But not much more.

CCMClean.exe is not supported for ConfigMgr 2012, but I guess that you know that :)
Have you tried 'ccmsetup.exe /uninstall', wait for it to complete and then install again?

Hardware test fails with DVD 1

Test unespectedly fails after few seconds. Mac doesn't work. Need to restart.

The Apple Hardware Test program is included with the discs that came with your machine and is specific to that machine. You can't download it. If you don't have it, contact Apple and request a replacement disc.

Acid 3 test fails with Safari 4 and OS x 10.5.7

it gets a 100/100, but a message also pops up saying "LINKTEST FAILED"
If I click on the "A" on the acid test 3 page, it says:
Failed 0 tests
Test 26 passed, but took 39ms (less than 30fps)
Total elapsed time: 0.32s
The hardware I am running it on is an early 2006 iMac Intel 2.26GHz machine (first gen Intel) with 2GB of ram.

Doesn't sound like a Photoshop issue.
What do the iPrint people tell you? I had never heard of iPrint before, had to Google them.
Incidentally, it's Photoshop not PhotoShop.

AIR installer download fails with MacOS

I have put my AIR-installer to my web-server (http://www.prepress.fi/eDocManager_e/update/eDocManager.air)
It doesn´t work if I just click the link in web-browser. I have to compress installer to ZIP-package, user has to decompress it then. I would like to make it work directly... it should be possible, I have used links to AIR-installer elsewhere.... what I´m doing wrong?
I have also problems with auto-update... but i have Flex SDK 3.5 in use and I heard there´s some bug that has something to do with update process... I tried to download SDK 3.5a but site was down few minutes age... I´ll re-try later...

Have you set the mime type for AIR on your web server?

Simple SSL test: failing with "The certificate is not trusted ..."

WebLogic 10.3.4 on Win7.
I created a new domain and enabled SSL,with listen ports 7001 and 7002 for http and https respectively.
I deployed a trivial webapp whose main page runs in http, but it opens an iframe with https for a different page in the app.
I loaded the main page, but the iframe fails to load, giving the following error:
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
What is the easiest path to get this working?

I dont think that the Demo Certificate shall cause the issue.You can enable the SSL debug in weblogic and check what exactly is wrong,while loading the iframe window.
Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer
Moreover,you can try to add the root certificate to your IE browser and check it
Tools -> Internet options -> content ->Certificates ->
After your import,You can verify the same by checking it from the list and then verify by accessing it again
