ODI Experts Error Generation File
Hi ,
I have created procedure to capture error records using http://odiexperts.com/error-records-log link.
import string
import java.sql as sql
import java.lang as lang
import re
sourceConnection = odiRef.getJDBCConnection("SRC")
output_write=open('C:\ODI\snp_check_tab.txt','w')
sqlstring = sourceConnection.createStatement()
output_write.write("The Errored Interface of today's (<%=odiRef.getSysDate( )%>) run are .... \n")
output_write.write("----------------------------------------------------------- \n\n")
sqlstmt="SELECT 'Errored Interface \t- '||SUBSTR(ORIGIN,INSTR(ORIGIN,')')+1, LENGTH(ORIGIN))||'\nError Message \t\t- '||ERR_MESS||'\nNo of Errored Records \t- '|| ERR_COUNT AS OUTPUT FROM ODI_temp.SNP_CHECK_TAB WHERE TRUNC(CHECK_DATE)=TRUNC(SYSDATE)"
result=sqlstring.executeQuery(sqlstmt)
rs=[]
while (result.next()):
rs.append(str(result.getString("output")+'\t'))
res='\n\n'.join(map(string.strip,rs))
print >> output_write, res
**After thje execution i am getting follwoing error.**

Check two things:
1. If the schema that hosts your ODI work repository exists in the instance as specified in the JDBC parameters related to "SRC".
2. If answer to check 1 is yes, then check user name specified in parametrers for "SRC" and see if that user can access the table SNP_CHECK_TAB.
Regardless of the logical schema specified in the procedure/KM, the way coding is done, connection parameters for logical schema specified in the "source command" would be used. Make sure that the logical schema for ODI work repository schema is mentioned in the source command section.

Error running ODI scenario from batch file
Hello, everyone!
I am loading data into Essbase 11.1.2 from MS SQL Server views using ODI 11.1.1.5.0 and Local agent. I created an interface which runs ok if launched manually from ODI.
Then I created the scenario named MyScenario for this interface and updated odiparams.bat file in *...\agent\bin* folder as follows:
set SECU_DRIVER=weblogic.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
set SECU_URL=jdbc:weblogic:sqlserver://<ServerName>:1433;databaseName=<DatabaseName>
set SECU_USER=<UserName for Master Repository>
set SECU_PASS=<encoded password for MasterRepository UserName>
set ODI_USER=SUPERVISOR
set ODI_PASS=<encoded password for SUPERVISOR>
set WORK_REPOSITORY=<Work Repository name>
Then I created the batch file in which I wrote: *...\agent\bin>startscen MyScenario 001 GLOBAL 5*
However the scenario is not executed with the following error message:
ERROR ODI-1132 Agent Internal encountered a warning: ODI-1414: Error connecting to agent Internal: a JDBC error occurs while connecting to the master repository. Caused by: org.springframework.jdbc.CannotGetJdbcConnectionException: Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Exception occurred while getting connection: oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: Cannot get Connection from Datasource: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
I will be very grateful for any hints!A fundamental clarification : where is your master repository database located ? Is it on SQL Server as well ?
The MS SQL Server connection that you mentioned in the SECU_DRIVER, SECU_URL should point to the MR database.
Is the server name in SECU_URL a Fully Qualified domain name or just an IP Address reachable from localhost ?
startscen will spawn a new instance of local agent.
startcmd will reuse an existing agent (not local).
Not sure why your local agent is getting a Network Connection Error. -
Role Expert Profile generation error
Hi All,
I am getting the following error in Role Expert Profile Generation tab.
When i click Generate tab, I am geting "Name or Password is incorrect(Repeat Login)" Can any body explain what user id is generally triggered when generate profile using role expert?
Thanks,
ChandraHi there,
to be more precise. You have to use the password from the account which you use to maintain the roles in the system you want to generate the role.
Kind regards,
Richard -
hi
how to capture an odi error log file for an odi package?
Kindly suggest me in this.ODI execution log is stored in the repository, so you could query it to retrieve the needed information. Also you could use substitution api getPrevStepLog() to retrieve error log (code & message) for the certain step. And for OdiOSCommand you could capture error log in the specified Error file.

Thanks for any lightDear Expert
Still facing this problem.
I did several tests, changing flexfields in physical topology and the parameters of RKM.
But the result is always the same.
What else could do.
The doubt remains.
Should be poss edit details.

I can not enter values in JDBC because the JDBC option is not active.
Any light, suggestion or critics is welcome.
Also I have a SR open with serveridade 1 in orcl.

AnindyaIf you have not deleted the old file schema, then it should have been work but it seems to be theissues with the link between interface and model .
I cannot say this is the actual reason but it might be. Since you have draged the file datastore to interface, interface is probably pointing to old schema and file model is pointing new schema.
I guess you have to recreate the interface again. Let me know how it is going with you

I saw your issue and found one think that "String index out of range", can you please compare the columns datatype and column size with target table and ODI table.
ODI Table:
After Reverse Engine, CSV changed into table format can you please open the table from designer>model>csv table and goto columns tab, it will list out the all column name datatype and size. compare the column size and type with your target table.
hope this will resolve your issue.

Why is Premiere 6 giving a "Error writing file (disk full?)" message?
Hello helpful experts,
I'm using Premiere 6 on a Windows 7 machine.
I have a file imported in to the timeline and it is set to play in reverse via the speed setting being set to -100 and it plays back in the preview window correctly, in reverse, when I click the play button.
But when I do a "File>Export Timeline>Movie" command I get an error message saying "An error occurred while making the movie. Error writing file (disk full?)"... but my hard drive is not nearly full, with over 30 gigs left open on it... and my RAM usage gadget shows over half of my RAM capacity is unused.
Now previously, weeks ago on a different project, I was getting this same error message for a while when I would hit enter to preview my movie on the timeline (but that worked itself out somehow and eventually stopped giving me that error message). But when I went to save and export, then I would not get the error message... now, it is just the opposite... I'm now getting the error message when trying to do an export and save the movie.
And also now when I hit enter to preview, as opposed to just clicking the play button on the preview window, Premiere is going through the process of saving the movie since it is saving a temporary preview file... hopefully, since I'm getting this error message, I can find the temporary preview file and save it as my exported AVI file.
But I still shouldn't be getting this error message when trying to save, or when trying to preview, as I did for a while a couple of weeks ago.
Does anyone know about the erroneous error message that says, "An error occurred while making the movie. Error writing file (disk full?)"
Thanks,
numetroDepending on your hard drive size, P6 may be confused... since drives were not as large when it was written

I am unable to complete captures because I get a message
that says "capture stopped because disk was full." What
does this mean?
Daniel Conklin - 08:02am Apr 17, 2003 Pacific (#1 of 2)
If you are using a Pinnacle card, a possible solution to
this is to right click on the recycle bin, and set the
percentage on your media drive to less than 2%.
There a several other possible causes as well, but you
need to supply some info about your system. How are you
capturing and what format is your video? How big is
your hard drive?
Jeff Schell - 09:57am Apr 17, 2003 Pacific (#2 of 2)
this is one of my favorite error messages. Basically,
you've chosen an incorrect setting in your DV settings.
(Odds are you have DV settings). If so, read on:
1. The DV format is very rigid. Meaning that if you
make changes to the format, it cannot export as
requested, because your movie file must match every
single spec exactly.
2. When Premiere goes to export a project, the DV codec
says "Whoa. I can't do anything, because the settings
don't match."
3. Then Premiere comes back to you and has to report an
error. (Don't shoot the messenger). Unfortunately,
Premiere doesn't know why it wasn't able to export a
movie. So it says to you, "Um... I can't make the movie.
Um... maybe your hard drives are full?"
It's a complete guess. And has nothing to do with your harddrives.
Check your project settings and/or your export settings. Make
sure you have chosen one of the "presets" that will specify
every correct setting for you. Make sure it is one of the DV
presets, if you are using DV video, or make sure it is one of
the presets supplied by your capture card manufacturer (in this
case I'm going to guess Pinnacle or Matrox.)
To choose a preset, go to Project > Settings Viewer, and then
click on the project settings column, and then click 'load' to
load a correct preset. Do the same with export settings. -
Outlook 2010 error - The file is corrupt and cannot be opened
Hi experts
Im getting the error - "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened", when opening office attachments in outlook 2010.
I’ve tried disabling the protected view options in office which hasn’t fixed the issue, the only suggestion I have seen which I’m sure would work is to delete
the user profile and recreate. This seems a bit over kill to me, does anyone know what files I need to remove to fix the issue.
ThanksHi,
You can try using the Fix it tool in the following KB article to fix the issue:

Hope this helps.

Hi guys,
I am working on issue with SQL Server 2008 R2 .. we rebooted the server and after that all SQL services is not coming up. below is the error from eventlog...
SQL Server running under NetworkService account and has full control on this files..
from Config Manager ....
The request failed or the service did not respond in a timely fashion....
From Event log..
initerrlog: Could not open error log file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\ERRORLOG'. Operating system error = 5(Access is denied.).
Any idea or workaround..?
Thanks..

I had a very similar issue with the following error (event log):
Description:
The SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) service terminated with service-specific error 17058 (0x42A2).
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSSQLSERVER
Event Category: (2)
Event ID: 17058
Date: 19/05/2012
Time: 10:20:14
User: N/A
Computer: NSQLXX
Description:
initerrlog: Could not open error log file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG\ERRORLOG'.
Operating system error = 5(error not found).
In this case the ERRORLOG file had been marked as read only. This was following a scheduled automated boot. -This
was culprit
MSSQL wouldn't not start until this file had been changed.

Dear Experts,
I have two WLCs and other management devices as part of same subnet. I am able to upload ‘configs’ from all the devices on to my TFTP server. However when I am attempting to do the same from one of my WLC, it is failing consistently stating error message as:
‘%Error: Config file transfer failed – Unknown error –refer to log
Has anyone else too faced the same issue and how would we overcome this? Any specific debug that could help get more details on it?
Though the error message says, refer to log but still I don’t see anything that gets reflected in ‘Monitor logs’ which is related to ‘configuration file’ upload failure.
WLC code: 7.4.100.0
PFA as the error snippet.
Thanks and Regards,
AdnanHi Kaneswaran,
Just a soft reboot helped me solved the problem :). Still I am on 7.4 and facing no issues after this.
Apologies for coming too late to respond. Getting a down time window was not that easy and so was much delayed to try soft reload. I am still on 7.4 and facing no issue.
Glad that in your case it starting working all of a sudden. Could you please verify from 'show tech-support' to confirm if by chance your WLC had undergone any crash that could have caused the WLC to reload and thus accidently fixing the issue :)
Best Regards,

Hello,
I have a MCB2400 and LV2009 and the normal Code-Generation works fine. But if I try the Run-Time Option: "Optimize for Speed" I always get this Error:
"LV runtime error in file ...\CCGArrSupport2.c at line 2621: 6 3"
I already tried a workaround, which helped somebody for blackfin: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=420&thread.id=811
But it didn´t help in my case.

Solved!
Go to Solution.Hi,
you are right. In the example it was just a Problem with the output.
Now here is one little part of the project which brings the runtime error allone, which brings the runtime error (just if the optimize option ist activated).
The Black Node is a Sub-Vi.
bye & thanks

ODI - IKM SQL to File Append - Header not Generated
I'm using ODI IKM SQL to File Append to create a text file, but the header is not being generated. And the GENERATE_HEADER is set to Yes. The file is Tab delimited and the Heading (number of lines) is set to 1.
Seems to only be an issue with HFM files coming from the Unix server.
Any suggestions?

This is the wrong patch - you need the patch for the Runtime 2005, not for 2008.
Those kernels were build with Visual Studio 2005 and hence you need that runtime.
