  • Is it possible to debug step by step for share point designer workflow in share point 2010

    Hi all,<o:p></o:p>
I have created a reminder date work flow but it is not working .In this work flow it need to be check first its status if its status is suspend then only workflow can run .I am
attaching below workflow logic check if any modifications needed please suggest me . And  I have doubt is it possible to check step by step debugging like in coding we are using break point in this way any break point is available for designer workflows
? If break point is available please guide me how to get and use those<o:p></o:p>
    Thanking you,<o:p></o:p>

    <o:p>Workflow logic given below</o:p>

You can't step through a SharePoint Designer Workflow.  The normal workaround is to Log messages to the History list with the values you want to look at where you would normally put breakpoints.  Then run the workflow and examine the history
list to see how the values changed as you went through your workflow.

  • How do I separate my music from my husbands to just go on my ipod shuffle?I know I need to manually pull the songs over...please help I need step by step instructions

Need step by step instructions on how to separate my music from my husbands that I purchased on Itunes.I know my account is listed to set up manually...I just forget how to do it.I know I need to drag each song over right???Please advise

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer. iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. • Step by step procedure for Upgrade to ECC6.0

    Hi,
I gained a lot from this forum . Can someone please mail me at
    [email protected]
step by step procedure for upgrade .
Will award full points for helpful documents..
    With regards,
    Mrinal

SAP defined a roadmap for upgrade.
    1) Project Preparation
    Analyze the actual situation
    Define the objectives
    Create the project plan
Carry out organizational preparation for example identify the project team
    2)Upgrade Blueprint
    The system and components affected
    The mapped business processes
    The requirements regarding business data
3)Upgrade Realization -- In this phase the solution described in the design phase is implemented in a test environment. This creates a pilot system landscape, in which the processes and all their interfaces can be mapped individually and tested on the functional basis.
4)Final Preparation for Cutover -- Testing, Training, Minimizing upgrade risks, Detailed upgrade planning
    5)Production Cutover and Support
    The production solution upgrade
Startup of the solutions in the new release
    Post processing activities
Solving typical problems during the initial operation phase.
SAP expects at least 2 to 3 months for Upgrade and that again depends on project scope and complexity and various other factors.
    STEPS IN TECHNICAL UPGRADE
    •     Basis Team will do the prepare activities. (UNIX, BASIS, DBA).
    •     Developer need to run the Transaction SPDD which provides the details of SAP Standard Dictionary objects that have been modified by the client. Users need to take a decision to keep the changes or revert back to the SAP Standard Structure. More often decision is to keep the change. This is mandatory activity in upgrade and avoids data loses in new system.
    •     After completing SPDD transaction, we need to run SPAU Transaction to get the list of Standard SAP programs that have been modified.  This activity can be done in phases even after the upgrade. Generally this will be done in same go so that your testing results are consistent and have more confident in upgrade.
    •     Run SPUMG Transaction for Unicode Conversion in non-Unicode system. SPUM4 in 4.6c.
    •     Then we need to move Z/Y Objects.  Need to do Extended programming check, SQL trace, Unit testing, Integration testing, Final testing, Regression Testing, Acceptance Testing etc.,
The main Category of Objects that needs to be Upgraded is –
    •     Includes
    •     Function Groups / Function Modules
    •     Programs / Reports
    •     OSS Notes
    •     SAP Repository Objects
    •     SAP Data Dictionary Objects
    •     Domains, Data Elements
    •     Tables, Structures and Views
    •     Module Pools, Sub Routine pools
    •     BDC Programs
    •     Print Programs
    •     SAP Scripts, Screens

  • Step-by-Step guide for developing a ADF application, does it exist?

Step-by-Step guide for developing a ADF application, does it exist?
    Hi there,
At our company we recently begun working on a project using Oracle ADF with
UIX. We got the Oracle JDeveloper 10g handbook and we did a 5 day Oracle ADF
course. A good way to start the project I think.
One thing that bothers me though, is that I cannot find a simple clean example
how to manipulate a record in the DB, going through all steps of MVC. I tried
this forum, the books we got and google. It usualy explains a small portion
of the steps needed, but never a complete example.
I know people will probably say you can design what you want in various ways
and that's its all up to the developer, this is also the power of ADF that it
    can be very flexible.
However it would be nice to have a step-by-step example how to be able to insert,
edit and delete a record. Showing all the steps that have to be made in the BC4J,
struts and UIX, including creating triggers, seq, autocommitting etc.
I think ADF is pretty complicated, therefore having a step-by-step example guide
(design pattern) would be very handy for a beginner like me.
Do such guides exist, are there developers who created such a guide for themselves?
Would other developers find such a guide useful? I'm curious about everybody's
    opinion.
A good example of what I mean by guide can be found here
How To Build a Simple UIX Search Form, written by Shay Shmeltzer
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/tips/shmeltzer/setwhereclause/uix.html
    kind regards
    Ido

Have a look at the ADF Workshop - it doesn't use UIX rather it uses JSP but I think it will give you the basics.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe9051jdev/ADFWorkshop/BuildingADFApplicationsWorkshop.htm
Then have a look at the toy-store demo and the new ADF Case manual:

  • MDM Data Manager step-by-step process with an example

    Hi All,
I recently started reading MDM. I am clear with MDM-Console concepts. But I have problem with MDM Data Manager. I am confused with data entries in qualified tables, work flows(using microsoft studio), Matching mode- rules(High treshold, low threshold) etc.. I read material posted in forums- but still I am not clear.
I need a step-by-step process for data entries with *examples*. A good example which covers all Data Manager concepts. PDF's with screen shots, videos any thing would help.
Please help me......It would be of great help.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Suchir

    Hi Suchir ,
MDM 5.5 has 4 MDM clients to perform 4 main functionality on the MDM master records.
    - Console- This is where all the Administrative work is performed
    - Data Manager- This is where the actual maintainence work is done on the master data like consolidation deduplication etc.
    - Import manager- Thsi is from where the source matser records are taken into MDM repoistory
    - Syndicator- This is from where teh consolidated master data is send back to the target systems.
MDM Data Manager is the heart of MDM
The activities that can be performed in the MDM Data manager are:
    - Data Consolidation
    - Data Validation
    - Data Deduplication
    - Data Assignment
    - Data Governanace
    etc......
    Qualified Table:
    - Qulaified tables are used to store relational records where one field value is determining the other field or fields value.
    - Qualified tables are maintained in Console and can be viewed in Data Manager
    - Qualified Table are viewed under a separate section in Data Manager in the right hand side.
    - Qualified table has Non qualifiers and Qualifiers.
    - Non qualifiers can be seen in the  Qualified table and in the linking Qualified field
    - Qualifiers can be seen separately under the Qualified section in the data manager
Kindly refer the below link to know more on this:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/00a15239-684e-2b10-b8ae-b936b7d1c1fe
    Workflows
    - Workflows are designed in MDM for Governanace
    - You can create the MDM workflow using the MS Visio 2003 stencils in the MDM Data manager in the record mode under the workflow table
    - The saved workflow in DM can then be executed either mnaully or automatically based on teh trigger actions
    - The trigger action for teh MDM wf are record Add,Update,Import,Manual
Kindly refer the below link to know more on this:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60559952-ff62-2910-49a5-b4fb8e94f167  (MDM Workflows Overview)

    Matching Mode
    - This mode is exclusively for Master data deduplication
    - We need to create Rules,Strategies,Transformation in MDM data manager in teh record mode
    - Then you need to run these strategies on the selected records
    - Based on your score and threshold set in the strategy MDM will identify duplicate records
    - This score will be seen in teh Matching mode
    - Colour coding is used along with scores to find out dupliactes
    - Green - 100%dupliacte Blue- 50?% Red- No duplicate
Kindly refer the below link to know more on this:

  • Step by step guide says I have Internet Explorer 7...

I decided to get prepared for the forthcoming change from BT Yahoo Mail to BT Mail.  From what I read in this forum  it could turn out to be a traumatic experience.
As a result of reading one of the posts I decided to change My BT id and My BT password to those I use for BT Mail. I hope that avoids one of the problems.
A problem that has arisen as a result of going through the step by step guide is the statement 'We've noticed that you are using Internet Explorer 7 to view this page. BT Mail does not support Internet Explorer 7.'.
I have Internet Explorer 9. I can see this has being one of those frustrating situations where I will not be able to progress because of some software glitch.
Has anybody else had this problem and is there a way around it? I don't want this to prevent me from accessing my mail.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I'd just add - recent versions of Internet Explorer have a "compatibility mode" to allow new versions of IE to work properly with old web sites that were designed to work with the quirky non-standard behaviour of old versions of IE.
However, if you accidentally leave that turned on, then some new web sites may detect that your browser is acting like an old version of IE, and display warning messages to say that your browser is obsolete.
The control for this feature is a little icon that looks like a sheet of paper torn in half.

  • Urgent with step by step example

    Hi
I was trying to create the given example(Step by step example) from the pdf document(OracleBPM-Tutorial_10.3.pdf) on Page 36 step 12 mentioned as below.
My question is Do we expand Expense Report Process or Scren Flow when creating Instance reportSF?
If i follow the below step i did not see the reportSF as said in step 5 from Page 37
    Step 12 Page 36
In the Project Navigator, expand Processes and click Expense Report. The process notation appears in
the design editor. In the Variables window, in theInstance section, add a process variable named reportSf,
of type ExpenseReport. You can do this by following steps 2 to 7 of the Creating the Process Variable on
    page 32 activity.
    Step 5 Page 37
In the Select BPM Object Variable list, select reportSf.
    Thanks

    Hi,
The tutorial has you answer "no" / "no" instead of "no" / "yes" in step 6 on page 36 (if this had been an Interactive and not a Global Creation activity it should have been "yes" / "yes"). Because of this the many steps on pages 36 and 37 are necessary - it's normally much easier and less confusing than what they have you doing here. In real life you won't find yourself doing what's described here too often.
Agree, it's not clear from what they've written, but step 12 is done while you are inside the Screenflow.
Step 5 on the next page is also done inside the Screenflow after you've right clicked the Interactive Component Call task. If you do not see the (poorly named) variable "reportSf" variable in the dropdown, go back to step 12 and add it to the Screenflow's variable list.
You have not run into it yet, but on page 38 you won't be able to do "reportArg = ReportSfArg" - there'a typo and it should be "reportArg = reportSfArg" (again - because they had you answer "no" / "no" on step 6 on page 36).
    Hope this helps,
    Dan

  • HR toolbox payroll/Time management step by step

    Hi Experts,
Can you please tell me the PU12 Payroll/Time management step by step process?.
    Thanks.

The SAPADPFR process model is designed to launch a payroll and export payroll data to SAP using the Interface with external payroll systems (pu12) transaction. The system creates a process corresponding to the process model for each of the payroll services in the Services menu. In the scenario, ADP-GSI indicates whether the service must use the process model or not. You can copy the SAPADPFR standard process model and adapt it to your companyu2019s requirements.
To launch the SAPADPFR process model, the name of the process model must be entered in the PM_PAIE constant (SAPADDFR by default). Program RPPM0FI creates a link between the different programs run in the process model and the process itself.
The sequence of programs defined in this process model is as follows:
    ○        OT_SELECT_PERNR_OTFR initializes the process model. The user selects the personnel numbers for the payroll areas pre-selected in a dialog box. The status of the payroll areas considered on Released for payroll is updated in the HRPAYFR_ADP_PERNUM BAdl implemented by ADP-GSI.
    ○        RPCALCF0 launches the payroll for each employee selected.
    ○        RPIF00FI creates an export file based on the options defined in pu12 for the FADP interface format.
    ○        RPPMFLFI calls program RPFL00FI with the file formatting data based on the options defined in pu12.
    ○        RPTMSEFI converts the file to ZADIG format.
    ○        RPSENDFI sends the data file to ADP.
The value of the TEM_DVR code affects the following steps:
    ○        RPDOWNFI extracts the reference values.
    ○        RPSENDFI sends the reference values.
    ○        RPPMCDFI deletes the reference values file and indicates the end of the process.
A breakpoint is planned after each program that does not use the PNP logical database:
           1.      to manage return codes as they appear in a ADP scenario: a return code less than or equal to 50 stops the process
           2.      to call the  HRFR_PROCESS_STOP_OT_SAPOTFR function module
A conditional breakpoint is planned for management codes. Depending on these codes, it is possible to skip these steps. These breakpoints call the HRFR_PROCESS_NAVIG_OT_SAPOTFR function module.
In the SAPADPFR process model, in the event of an error the process stops on the step following the conditional breakpoint. The function module called allows you to ascertain whether the previous step (STOP_OTFR) was carried out correctly.
A procedure for purging processes is integrated into the FINPER service after the process is closed.
It is possible to view the result of the process and the updated status of the ADP exchange in the exchange table (T5F6K). Program RPDV90FI creates a link between the completed process and the ADP transmission table. You can view this information in the process log for this program.

    Hi Les,
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ac/789b3c4d4d8d15e10000000a114084/content.htm
In the left hand side of the query designer, find your char and under than there will be a button with text called Characteristic Value Variables. Right click this and choose New Variable. This will open the variable wizard. You need to follow the screen to define a technical name and description, the processing type, the user entry options and if the variable will accept single or multiple values, and also if you want to set a default value.
    Hope this helps...
