OEM stalling when calling process every Minute

Has anyone experienced any problems with OEM calling WSH scripts
or Perl scripts every minute. I have a problem where the script
locks up and OEM does not reschedule it. Is there any way to
timeout calls in OEM?

Hi Suja,
You can write a code to trigger a event in your program once the check is done and then give this event in the start condition for the process chain. I think you can trigger a event using call transqaction statement in ABAP. Transaction to trigger a event is SM64. Hope this helps.

  • HT204406 Itunes Match process became cyclic every minute.

I already finished to upload all my music with itunes match, but itunes match begin all the update songs process every minute (all 3 steps), if I am buying something in the store or browsing my musoc, itunes match interrupts and send me to the itunes match page. I can stop the process and everything stops, but I assume that that is not right, I assume that the process can run indefinitly in a "silent mode" or something.
    Thanks

Kevin, it appears for me this was indeed an ISP issue. I was experiencing this problem using when i was connected to my home network which uses roadrunner. After reading your comment, i decided to try connecting to verizon LTE by tethering my iphone, and all of the songs uploaded successfully.

  • Problem when calling BPEL process (WS) from APEX

I am trying to add a web service call to a BPEL process I have created (tried a few others aswell), but every time I try to add the WDSL file I get the following error:
    *1 error has occurred*
The WSDL document contains multiple SOAP bindings. Application Express only supports WSDL's with one SOAP binding. Click Create Web Service Reference Manually to continue creating a reference for this service.
It is a simple BPEL process which works fine when called from the BPEL Console, however I have no success when calling it from APEX.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a bug in BPEL/APEX?

Allow me to reply to my own thread, for the benefit of any others who might want to invoke a BPEL WS from APEX facing the same problem:
Apex does not seem to like asynchronous BPEL processes so the trick is to make a synchronous BPEL process call the asynchronous BPEL process.

  • STAD : Processing time when calling c program

    Hi,
when I look at the central instance of our system, I see that much of the response time is recorded as "Processing time". Much more than 2 * cpu time. According to sap performance optimisation guide, this implies CPU or network bottleneck. We have no such bottleneck at this time.
I am wondering if the time spent in a c program when called from a function is recorded as processing time because the system has no way of calculating its ressource usage ?
    Thank you
    Thierry

    Hi Thierry,
For your CPU's.... if they are 16 cores in total then yes, you appear overloaded and semaphore waits can occur with so many things sharingthe OS memory areas.
For monitoring STD Dialog in fact it is easier than you think. Here are 2 processes that you should find handy.
Creating a usable monitor in RZ20
    1. Go to RZ20 and from the menu choose Extras - Activate Maintenenace Function
    2. Click on the Create button (blank page button) And in the popup, press enter and in the next popup type Thierry and press enter.
    3. Under My Favourites you should now see Thierry, single click this and click the Create button again.
    4. On the next screen single click on the work New Monitor and click the Create button again, press enter on the pop up and on the next popup Type Standard Dialog Response Time (or similar) and press enter
    5. Now single click on the line that says Standard Dialog Response Time and click the Create button again.
    6. In the Popup change the radio button option to Rule Node and press enter
    7. On the next Popup, in the Rule field do a drop down and double click on CCMS_GET_MTE_BY_CLASS and press enter
    8. On the next popup in the R3System Field do a dropdown and double click on the word <CURRENT> (it is important to choose this option) and in the MTECLASS field paste the word R3DialogDefLoadTime and press enter.
    9. Now you are backon the main screen, press the standard Save button, in the Popup type the word Performance and press enter.
10.Now expand your monitor set and double click on the performance word to get the monitor, expand Standard Dialog Response time and you will be able to see the current performance of all instances.
Now you have an RZ20 performance monitor you can add other nodes in here like dialog steps per minute, CPU, Paging and even context switches. Have a look at the SAP CCMS Monitor Templates - Entire System - Application Server - <instance> - R3Services - Dialog for some really useful ones. To get the MTECLASS single click on a noce and click the Properties button.
Because you set up your collector system as <CURRENT> you can now export you defined monitor and import it into another system within seconds!... very very handy. It is just an XML you can have saved on your PC.
Saving Standard Dialog Response Time History in RZ23N
    1. Go to transaction RZ23N and click on the button Assign Procedure
    2. In the middle panel of the top three panels click on the binoculars and find R3DialogDefLoadTime and come out of the find popup with a cancel (not a tick) so that R3DialogDefLoadTime is highlighted.
    3. In the left hand pane single click on your system (or if it is the only system and you do system copies, choos ethe * option)
    4. In the right hand pane single click on the option SAP_MIN_COLLECTION__NO_AGGREGATION
    5. Now you have the system, the MTECLASS and the collection method highlighted, click the button Assign Procedure
and thats it!.... you will now keep 8 days (or a few more worth of data) but it reorgs itself... two jobs will now be running to collect and reorg the data. Go to the main RZ23N screen and press Collection/reorganisation jobs to see them without the hasstle of SM37.
Click on the Maintain Schemas button to even create your own collection schemas. You may want to have one that aggregates values all the way up to yearly values. This is a lovely transaction. I recommend avoiding using weekly collection until you read teh help.
Click in the 'Overview of Available Data' to be able to see the data collected and even graph it or copy it out to excel. You can run the reports in place also but its too much to mention here
    The Rolls Royce Reporter
BI now has standard cubes to collect CCMS data from RZ23N and graph it. We do this for all our SLA data for customers and we in fact do it ourselves without BI help directly in the Central monitoring system so we have control and can design our own graphs that are far nicer than the horrible Solution Manager ones.
    feedback? your opinion?
    regards

    Rubén,
It has a problem with the loading of the object classes.
    Try to export the full process (so don't use "publish for enterprise");
    perhaps it will work then.

  • ABAP process hangs when calling a jCO Server J2EE-available RFC

    Hi there
    Here's the scenario:
We have deployed a jCO server under the SAP WAS. This jCO server implements two functions. They are both called from ABAP process through RFC. We are using the same RFC destination for both
First function is defined with import/export parameters and the second one only operates with a TABLE parameter.
Incidentally, these functions are captured by the jCO server, which calls an IBM MQ server
First function works fine. Second function hangs and there is not even a timeout so the ABAP process (run on foreground) can stay forever.
The interesting part is that the same application works really fine when called from a Tomcat using a standalon instance of the jCO.
    Additional info:
We have noticed that some time after the second function gets called, there are five dumps on the system (the same amount of servers we make available). These are CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_REJECTED.
The fun part of the dumps is that the user making the RFC call is a different user that the one we use for the jCO connection, and the client number is '000', instead of the '728' we are using for the connection. Somehow they seem related but we do not know how yet:
    Short text
You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1).
    What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    Error analysis
RFC (Remote Function Call) sent with invalid
        user ID "%_LOG01% " or client 000.
User "ARINSO " under client 001 from system "SMD " has tried to carry out an
         RFC
call under the user ID "%_LOG01% " and client 000 (Note: For releases < 4.0,
         the
information on caller and caller system do not exist.).
    Call Program........."SAPLSMSY_ACTUALIZE_DATA"
    Function Module..... "SCSM_SYSTEM_LIST"
    Call Destination.... "SM_ET7CLNT000_READ"
    Source Server....... "sapwasmd_SMD_10"
    Source IP Address... "172.17.82.80"
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" - in
         "REMOTE_FUNCTION_CALL".
The main program was "SAPMSSY1 ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 67
        of the (Include) program "SAPMSSY1".
Any tip or suggestion on where to look at is more than welcome
    Thanks in advance,
    Miguel

    In the process P2:
          1. add a Sub Process activity and define to invoke P1.
          2. add a Wait Point activity and set 3 minutes.
          3. connect the route back to sub process (just make a loop)
now invoke the process P2 manually (by right click, then Invoke) within workbench.
Your P1 will get invoked by the helper process P1 every 3 minutes.

  • My mac pro (SL 10.6.8) wakes up every minutes when I use wake on lan and share a HD. when I unplug the ethernet it doesn't wake so I suppose that some thing wakes it up on my network ( 2 mac books, 2 iPads and 2 time capsules !) How can I fix that?

    Hy ,
My mac pro (SL 10.6.8) wakes up every minutes when I use wake on lan and I share one of my Hard Drive.
When I unplug the ethernet cable it doesn't wake any more so I suppose that some thing wakes it up on my network ( 1 printer canon MP620, 2 mac books, 2 iPads, 2 IPhones and 2 time capsules !) ...even when all these devices are "sleeping"
    Any idea?

  • IPhone 5 iOS 7.1.4 Call failed every time when the other person hung up before me

iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.4 says Call failed every time when the other person hung up before me,
Is there anything I can do to about that please?

    Hey there Yonidawit,
It sounds like you are are getting a message saying that the call failed, when the person you are talking to hangs up. I have a few things to recommend here. First close all the open apps:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone and test it out again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If that does not resolve it, try resetting your network settings:
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
    recently used Bluetooth accessories
    VPN and APN settings
From: iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
              http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1398
If the issue persists, I would next backup your device to iTunes, and restore it:
iOS: How to back up and restore your content
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

If I make calls exceed two minutes, it gets so hot, that I can't be able to hold. If the battery is full at night, it falls down almost a half, when I get up. I don't know what is wrong with my phone, need help.

    Thanks for the input.

  • What should be the normal behavior when calling a retired/stopped process?

    Dear all,
I thought that when one of my asynchronous BPEL process would call another asynchronous BPEL process that is retired or stopped(with no other version number active), I would receive any kind of error. So I tried it, and instead of receiving an error, the first BPEL process sent his message and received the ack without any errors (that is in both cases, retired or stopped). So I checked if the message was put in the thread queue or any other kind of queue and no it wasn't. I tried to reactivate the second process, and nothing happened. So I guess the message had been lost. Is this the normal behavior??
Since we are implementing asynchronous processes to do a "fire and forget" type of system, we would have liked to receive some kind of error so we know that no instance had been instanciated and that the message had not really been delivered?
Can anyone tell me where I'm wrong. Is there a chapter talking about that in any document. If anyone has read about that I'd like to know where so I can understand the way it works!
    Thank you!

    Thanks for your prompt reply,
I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand the onError callback thing,
If we consider my called asynchronous process was a one-way process (no callbacks),
Correct me if I'm wrong but:
-This means I would have to define a callback in the called process (that onError callback).
-Then, I gotta put a receive or a pick activity, which means I need to wait for an error answer, which is not wanted.
-And, would a retired or stopped process really answer me and throw me an error?!?! I'm not sure since its stopped... So i would probably wait forever I guess.
I'm just trying to find a way to make sure the message has been taken in charge by the next process and if not, to be alerted!
Thanks for helping a beginner like me!
    Btw I've read that post:
Re: How to throw a Fault from an asynchronous process to another process
It helps understanding the fault handling in asynch processes, but my problem is more about the fact that my async process is stopped/retired!
