OFFSET FETCH NOT WORKING

Hi, All
My query is like:
select businessentityid,LoginID
from [HumanResources].[Employee]
order by BusinessEntityID desc
OFFSET 10 ROWS
FETCH NEXT 30 ROWS ONLY
but it does not work.
error message is :
Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 6
Incorrect syntax near 'OFFSET'.
Msg 153, Level 15, State 2, Line 7
Invalid usage of the option NEXT in the FETCH statement.
anyone has a clue ?

Are you on SQL Server 2012?
It works for me with 30, 100, 200, 5:

Multicam source sequence - audio offset does not work when syncing via audio

Working double sound with Canon 5D footage and syncing via audio is a big help, but the camera sound is one frame ahead of the video.
Merge clips requires each v/a clip pair be selected individually AND can't be slipped after merging - so that's no good.
Create multi-cam source sequence works a treat AND offers an audio offset BUT that does not appear to work when syncing via audio (I understand why you might think we wouldn't need it but...)
Unlesss I'm missing something?

I have the same problem. Syncing video via audio in multicam works perfectly on my 3 cam shoot but audio offset does not work. Had to do that on the sequence timeline afterwards.

LMS 3.2 - Syslog Config fetch not working

Hello,
the syslog config fetch on my LMS 3.2 with RME 4.3.0 is not working.
I get syslog messages from devices and the count in the syslog collector status is okay.
But in the syslog message summary in device center the count is not getting higher with every message.
And the config fetch is not working.
I changed the logging level in the collector-properties to "debug" and got the following messages for a device which I want to fetch:

After I restarted the processes the syslog queue is empty and the config fetch works :-)

Is logrot a solution? My syslog.log will be rotated at 128 MB.

Verizon Iphone - GMAIL FETCH NOT WORKING

Like everyone else I just switched from AT&T to Verizon on both my and my wifes I4's and we absolutly love the service...however I've found a problem.
GMAIL FETCH doesn't work period. The only way I can pull new mail is to manually open the mail program and refresh by tabbing to each of my folders I have setup for my pop/imap mail accounts within GMAIL.
(if you don't understand how to integrate pop/imap with gmail please do not respond to this thread)
Anyway, no matter what interval I set my fetches to it never fetches... I've deleted my GMAIL account from my phone and re-installed but not luck. I've read several posts referring to PUSH not working on the Verizon iPhone and a few people commented the FETCH isn't working for them either and I thought we should have a seperate thread for this issue.

hmm...well i deleted the gmail account for a second time and it appears to be working on a 15 min fetch...
i'll test for the rest of the day and post results but this may have fixed it.

My Offset filter not working in Cs6: Seamless pattern problems

Hi all.
Im trying to create a seamless pattern. using lots of layers.
Im going to filter/other/offset/, adding the vertical or horizontal dimensions for as 2953px (image size is 2953px x 2953px). and checking the ‘wrap around’ box.
But it’s not working & is cropping off loads of the layer, so not seamless at all.
I've tried with another layer and the same thing is happening.
I've 'revealed all' and shows nothing. I’ve tried to delete any transparent stray pixels around the layer I'm trying to wrap.
& I have also selected all & then cropped the image but it’s still happening.
I've googled till my hearts content but found no other idea on how to solve. Any ideas?
All my layers are from brushes I have created and used so lots of transparent textures. But that would be a problem if I have tried all of the above would it?

If you see on the top left and bottom left this is the "white flower copy" layer that I am trying to offset. This is a copy of the white flow with blue centre just to the left of the offset window.
You will see that the offset layer I want to wrap is missing the blue centre.

Dear Experts,
I am Developing a Report on Dispatch Data(LIKP & LIPS) and i am Pulling Data in to DSO.
Up on this DSO i am Developing this Report.
I Restricted Delivery Quantity by Dispatch Date by keeping offset -30.
But this RKF value is not displayed in Report ,but the normal Delivery Quantity is displaying Results.
My char list is ,Delivery date,sold to party,Material ,sales org,Div,Distribution channel
Any Reasons Plz,

I am not using standard date variable , i am using a customized one of details type Single value .It allowing me to keep offset.
But it is not working .

Toplink....lazy fetching not working

Case description is as follows:
PollDio has a many-to-one relation with UserDio
UserDio has many-to-many relation with ReviewDio
When I try to reterive a PollDio, data from UserDio and ReviewDio are also fetched. I want data from PollDio only. To avoid the UserDio and Review entity, I used Lazy fetching.
I get the following exception when I try to run the program:

From your posting, I assume you believe this is related to the problem described in thread Toplink JPA... this should lazy load? . If you are running outside of a container, you need to list the Entity classes in the persistence.xml using the <class> tag for the provider to be able to load/weave them as apart of the persistence unit. This will also include non-entity classes such as MappedSuperclass and embedded classes.
If this isn't the issue you are running into, please provide the full stacktrace, the environment you are running in, and how you are using the agent for weaving.

CS6 Offset filter not working as expected

I've been using the offset filter for years to create seamless patterns with predictable results - I choose "Wrap around" and when I enter the distance the parts of the image that go off one side show up on the opposite side.
Now, with CS6, sometimes it works as expected and sometimes parts of the image go missing when (if) it shows up on the other side.
I've discovered that when this happens if I go to Image - reveal all that often times those lost pixels are outside of the viewable canvas. However, sometimes reveal all doesn't show anything new and the pixels have just been lost.
I know there are not extra pixels outside the canvas are before I run the filter so I don't understand how this is happening.
Does anyone know what's going on and how to prevent this from happening?
The only solution I have found is to select all and crop the image between every offset. Sometimes I'm offsetting 20-30 layers in a row (becaue you can't apply a filter to multiple layers at once, so annoying). Otherwise, if I'm not careful after I've offset everything I go to check the pattern and realize i lost parts of my image.

I'm having the exact same problem with my offset filter. Have you found a solution yet?
Edit: I have figured it out.
The problem is that the layer your are applying the offset filter to has white/transparent pixels that extend beyond the document size. What you have to do is "select all" and crop the image to the size of the document and make sure to "delete cropped pixels" as Noel said.
The filter IS working correctly, however it's wrapping empty pixels, not what we expected.

Variable Offset for Fiscal Year Not Working

My fiscal year variable offsets are not working. I have an input-ready query setup with 3 restricted key figures.
1) Restricted by FY Variable 0P_FYEAR, 0VTYPE = 20, KF = 0QUANTITY
2) Restricted by FY Variable 0P_FYEAR (variable offset -1), 0VTYPE = 20, KF =0QUANTITY
3) Restricted by FY Variable 0P_FYEAR (Variable offset -2), 0VTYPE = 10, KF= 0QUANTITY
I have in my filter selections Fiscal Year Variant = K4
Rows have 0STKEYFIG
Columns have 0FISCPER3 (Posting Period) and the 3 Restricted Key Figures.
When I run the query, the offsets are not being accepted. Only the selected FY variable. The first and second restricted kfs show 2009 data and not 2009, 2008 as it should. Has anyone else had issues with this? I am not using 0FISCPER but 0FISCPER3 but I am not sure how that would make a differnce.
I have created new variables, tried to do positive offsets, tried to include and exclude values int the filter to no avail.

I kept my variable offsets in the restricted key figure and they aren't working. When I just put fiscal year in the column and put the 0P_FYEAR and 0P_FYEAR-1 I get the 2 columns and the offsets filter through just fine. It seems to only be messing up when they are in the restricted key figures themselves.

Offset not working for fiscal year variable 0P_FYEAR

Hello all,
I am working in G/L cube. I am getting total credit and total debit keyfigures from the cube.
I want values for 2 years side by side. So I am using 0P_FYEAR as varaible for the key figure and offsetting the other by -1 but for some reason the offset is not working. ?
If I run the query just for 2007 is get the values, if i run just for 2006 I see the values for but when I use the varaible and input the fiscal year as 2007 in varaible screen than I see the values only for 2007 and not for 2006 ?
The test data in cube is for 2006 and 2007
Why can that be ?
Any suggestions?

I created another simple query with 2 RKF's, one RKF uses the user entered value ( 0) and onther RKF is offset to -1 and it is very straight forward query.
The second RKF query result came blank. Infact i tried with my own variable which i have created not SAP variable, but still no luck.
Do you have any thoughts.

Restriction in Rows Selection not working

I have a requrement where i need to restrict the material based on the date
output is
Sno Material                                       date           quantity
1      Material > 90 days                  5/7/2012        20
        material within 90 days          12/31/2011      5

like this
Material > 90 days is material exist 90 days from current system date Ex. for Feb 7,2012 ./ the range is may 7 ,2012
material within 90 days is material + or - 90 days.. ex, for Feb 7,2012 .. the range is Dec 7,2011 to May 7,2012
I created a new selection in Rows for material and restricted based on 0DAT variable with offset.
its not working.

Variable Offset not working in BI 7.0

Hi ,
I am facing an issue with variable offsets in queries in BI 7.0.
I created simple keyfigures with variable offset for fiscal year period with -1,-2,-3...etc to show different periods but I am getting 0 values for the same.
Just to inform, we are on SAP GUI 7.10 and support pack 0.Are thre any issues in variable offsets with front end patch ?
If so, pls let me know.Pls also let me know if we need to apply any notes to resolve this issue.

Edit link not working in IE 10 browser after fetching 5000+ rows

Hi,
OBIEE 11g 11.1.1.7.150120
IE 10
We have an issue where IE browser misbehaves after fetching 5000+ rows. By misbehaves, I mean the browser responds extremely slow while scrolling up, down, left, right. Worst behavior is the "Edit" link on the report does not work. There is no action! If I navigate to the my home page and try to edit some other report/analysis, same -- no action. I am able to run other reports but cannot edit any one of them. Edit link does not work for any report going forward. If I log-out properly, close the browser window and log back in, only then am I able to edit reports.
I tried clearing the browser cache several times but this keeps happening.
This issue is specific to IE only, not Firefox or Chrome. However IE 10 is the corporate browser and switching to any other browser is not a solution.
Has anybody faced this issue? Any help in troubleshooting will be greatly appreciated.

Just to make it simpler ... don't start touching your settings for java heap memory or your account setting to define the default tab when editing an analysis as they have no link with your issue.
Setting the criteria tab .... well ... as you can't click the edit link you will never get till the criteria tab, so it will not help you a lot (but it's good to set it in case you often edit huge analysis with tons of rows as it doesn't fire a query every time you open it).
For the java heap memory I can't really see how Chrome or Firefox would behave in a different way on a server side setting like that one.
So to avoid having multiple other nice issues later don't change settings around without being sure 100% it will have an impact on what you are debugging.

FIND with MATCH OFFSET not working

this works in all the case except for when <ls_data_package>-/bic/zbib_sysn = SSULTANA-VMC/.
(i.e. when /bic/zbib_sysn = USERID-VMC/, here SSULTANA is the user ID)
*In this case off2 = .
Value of sy-subrc is 0 after this statement is executed
Can some one please point out what I am doing wrong.

Most unlikely. More likely is that it isn't doing what you think it should be doing. Or you're using it incorrectly!
I can't really follow what your problem is. I assume you mean that you are getting off2 with value 0, when /bic/zbib_sysn contains USERID-VMC/
Can you be a little clearer in what the issue is?
DATA: off2 TYPE i.
FIND '/' IN 'this string /' MATCH OFFSET off2.
WRITE: / sy-subrc, off2.
This little program returns 0 and 12

Offset for variable not working !

Experts,
I have to show sales for last 5 months ( in 5 diff. Columns )
So, i have written CMOD code, where i am converting System date in to Fiscal Year / Period using FM DATE_TO_PERIOD_CONVERT.
every thing works good, i do get result. but the problem is the Offset for Variable function doesnt support that.
I was hoping that, Now i can do Offset -1, -2 , -3...till -5 and i will have all 5 Periods.
But looks like its not working out.
What other logic i can use.
!!!!!!!!!!My Variable is Not ready for Input !!!!!!!!!!! So the only way i found is to convert system date to current Period and then off setting it till last 5 months. And i do need to so last 5 months starting current Period -1, -2, -3, -4 and -5
is there any other way to get current Period ( i guess only from system date ).
I think in my logic, when i do offset, its not offsetting the Period, but its off setting system date.

I am pretty sure offset should work, in your customer exit, calculate the current period as using the system date, once you get that, create a variable with the same name as you defined in the customer exit and use that variable in five different restricted key figures with each with (Variable, Variable -1, Variable -2, Variable - 3 and Variable - 4). If you have done so and not working, what are you getting in each of the variables, there might be some notes which could address that issue.
