OID-Query Entry Return Limit not functioning for OIM

Hi,
I have connected Thor Xellerate (Oracle Identity Manager is the new name) to OID 9i and reconciled users from OID. The Query Entry Return Limit set on OID by default is 1000 and I have 1100 hundred users in OID.
I am able to get all users (means all 1100 users are reconciled) without any problem. I would like to know the significance of this Query Entry Return Limit in this context and whether my understanding is correct or not. Can anybody help me in this regard?

it's interesting that despite the fact that the OID entry return size limit is set to 1000 the reconcile can retrieve 1100 entries. The default behaviour should be that you should see an error msg stating "size limit exceeded". Anyway set the size limit in OID to a higher value just to be on the save side.

URGENT: Is Weblogic 10.3.4 not supported for OIM 11g ?

Hi Everyone,
Is Weblogic 10.3.4 not supported for OIM 11g ?
I installe & configured all IAM suite components (OAM,OIM,OAAM,SOA) on WLS 10.3.4. I am able to start all servers including OIM. However it is unable deploy "oim". After doing some research , I found below URL which tells WLS 10.3.4 is NOT SUPPORTED for OIM 11g.
Not able start oim_server1, could not open oim url
If that is true, Is there anyway to downgrade Weblogic to 10.3.3 ?
Please provide your inputs and suggestions.

No. 11G has been released with all type of supporting infrastructure components to be residing at the same level (i.e 11G only). So you would not be able to just downgrade weblogic to any lower versions.

Developer key is not functioning for sap netweaver 2004s trail version

"Rules" not functioning for organization of Mail. Please advise.

In order to make my life easier, I've set up some rules to help organize my mail. For example, I set up a rule that says:
If the From contains [email protected]
If the To contains [email protected]
Move message to the folder entitled myfriend.
This rule works for all incoming mail, but does not work for sent mail. Why not? And what do I need to do so that all email, either recieved from that person or sent to that person always ends up in the same folder (i.e. the "myfriend" folder which is located in my Imports folder, meaning it is taken off the mail server)?

First of all the update from 10.4.3 to 10.4.4 did not do any updates to Mail, so that should not be an issue. Your short description of the Mailboxes folder does not immediately seem out of line, but difficult to tell, yet.
If anything has taken place to move any folders and mailboxes around, then Rules can sometimes lose track of the target mailbox -- have you moved anything, either in the Sidebar of the Mail window, or using the Finder?
If your mailboxes, or at least some of them, originated in Panther, I want you to read the article at the link below, and then get back to me with some observations, before attempting any changes:

This issue of leftover files applies not only to mailboxes you have previously created (which are in the Mailboxes folder the article mentioned) but can also apply to those mailboxes in account folders created prior to the upgrade to Tiger.
Also, please report the size of each file or folder. Do not, however, try to list the files that are within the folder named Messages, that is found in each and every mailbox.

Data Entry Layouts - Rows not ready for inputs - Multiple records

Hi,
I have created a simple layout using a predefined simple structure for rows (FS Items) and a data driven one for columns (for the period value in LC).
Some cells show some data in them and are not available for input because there are multiple transaction records behind the numbers.
The transaction records share the same breakdowns except for the Currency Translation Indicator (it is empty for original records and shows '1' for records created during currency translation) and the currency key for transaction currency (sometimes it is empty).
It would be much appreciated if you let me know a way to introduce new data with layouts for FS Items (accounts) which already have transaction records.

Data may not be ready for input because of different reasons. The most I met were - you didn't expand the rows structure until the leaves (not nodes) or you marked the column as display only.

Return listener not called for popup invoked from RichCommandToolbarButton

I have a popup dialog which is shown via the adf framework by specifying <run-as-dialog> on the <task-flow-call>.
This popup is shown in two different contexts: In one it is shown via RichCommandMenuItem, in the other it is shown via RichCommandToolbarButton. For both I do .setReturnListener via the same function pointing to the same MethodExpression.
Subsequently in the bean for the popup I do .returnFromDialog.
However, when the popup is invoked via the menu item, the return listener handler is called. But, when the popup is invoked via the toolbar button the return listener handler is not called.
Can anyone suggest any reasons why a return listener from a RichCommandToolbarButton might not be called?

"No limit" not displaying for number of days to sync email

I recently purchased 16GB iPad w/ retina display (MD513LL) running IOS 6.0.1
I successfully set up MS Exchange email account, but it does not give me the option of "no limit" under number of days to sync.
I read in a few prior posts that deleting the email accounting and setting it up again works, but I tried that at least 6 times (it worked for my new iPhone 5, but not the iPad).

I might be wrong but I don't think so because I set up the same account on my iPhone 5 which allowed for the "no limit" option.

Redelivery limit not working for transaction timeout?

          we have a redelivery limit on a queue that works, except for when there is a transaction timeout. in this case, the message seems to be redelivered infinitely. Is this a bug? a feature?
          we are using Weblogic Server 8.1 SP4. we don't have the source code, so i am not sure how the error handling is done or what exceptions are thrown.

          Good point. The timeout exception is on ImportFileHandlerBean.handleMessage()....which is a session bean. The MDB must call this session bean, which also has a 3600 second timeout. It is confusing since the descriptor for the MDB has the transaction-timeout set, but i assume this is ignored for 'not-supported').
          I guess you would need to look at the code, but is there anyway a message go back on the queue, and not get the redelivery incremented?
          (I just had an evil thought...maybe the code could be physically sending the message onto the queue again when there is a timeout on the session bean.....hence would not get the redelivery incremented.....)

Query level formula is not working for all the amounts

In my production system I found new thing that in my query level I done some calculation (as per my requirement I done amount devide by 100 to get correct values)
It is working for all the amounts except 1or 2 amounts, im uploading same source file for all the amountsu2026 why it is happening like this u2026and is there any availability to change those 1 or 2 values at data base tables level or at any pleace (I hope in SAP it is may not possible)u2026can any body tell me why it is happening like this. u2026 because of this issue only my report is pending to sign off u2026.please can any body find the solution ASAP.

Are they non decimal currencies?
If yes, create RKF1 on amount field excluding the currencies for which you are not getting currect values then in CKF or formula as RKF1 / 100. Similarrly create another RKF2 on amount only including the currencies which are excluded in RKF1, create a CKF or formula as RKF2/10000. Then created another formula wich adding CKF1 and CKF2.

When Press "Execute Query" LOV return Item not showing

I created a LOV and defined return items.
In the form I created display items, database property NO and assign variable name which is in LOV.
When I enter a new record LOV shows the return item but when I am executing query only database record is showing and I want to show the all item even they are in database or not.

execute query populates only database items. To populate non database items after execute query, use post query trigger.

Force Query To Return 0 not null

This is my syntax and it does not return any results, which is accurate, but how can I set it to return a '0' instead of a blank result set? I REALLY need this to take place within a query and not a stored procedure, if at all possible...

Web Services Returns Runbook Not Found For One User, Not for another

i am using Web Service to start runbooks. most users are successful. but one user gets an error "runbook not found". the IIS logs show identical requests to the web service, except for the different username. the user
is an administrator on the machine and is a member of the OrchestratorUsersGroup. is there some other group that the user should be a member of to run web services?

Maybe the user has deniad Access to the Runbook, check in Runbook Designer.

100% Sampling Procedure is not functioning for Prod. Order - Insp.Type:03

We have a number of material as SPARE PARTS.
We are creating Production Order for these Spare Parts.
Inspection Type 03 is used for it.
Customization -> Define Default Values for Inspection Type
Sample  100 % Inspection Check Box is activated
Skips Allowed Check Box is activated.
Material Number : 571113211
QM View
Inspection Type 03 is assigned
100 % Inspection Check box is activated (By Customization Setting)
Skips Allowed Check Box is activated (By Customization Setting)
Routing is created for this material .
For the operation 10, Two MIC are assigned.
For Each MIC the 100% SAMPLING PROCEDURE IS ASSIGNED
Production Order is created with Qty. : 80.
System generates the Inspection Lot.
The result recording screen the u201CINSPECT FIELD  SOLLSTPUMF IS 1 ONLY.
It must be 80.
I am able to record only one entry.
As 100 % SAMPLING PROCEDURE IS ASSIGNED TO THE MIC,
THE LOT SIZE OF THE PRODUCTION ORDER MUST BE THE SAME OF SAMPLING SIZE.
For the manual Inspection type, I just assigned the sampling procedure to the MIC in Inspection Plan.
When I created the Inspection lot the Sampling size with Inspection Lot qty of 80,
I am able to enter the result for the specified MIC 80 times.
 It is working fine for manual Insp. Type  89.

This is the requirement of Inprocess Inspection.
I am assigning the MIC in Routing.
Hence I need the Inspection lot as soon as Production Order is released.
In Material Master QM View, Inspection Type 03.
I have deactivated the 100% Inspection Check Box.

Arrow keys do not function for use as shortcuts

I am able to perform shortcut functions except for when the shortcut involves using an arrow key. This behavior applies for native applications such as Finder and also third party software.

I've had this problem myself and want to know an easier way. The keys will work if you hold down the "option" button. The problem is, this is too difficult for my 3 year old so I have to hold the key while he plays. If you find a way to lock the arrow keys, let me know.
