our dev box can use OLAP universe with SSO authenticantion, after I apply FP2.3 this does not work any more
and I get the following error: DBD UNABLE TO CONNECT SAP BW SERVER INCOMPLETE LOGON DATA,
anyone encounter same issue

I log a case with SAP, and they point me to the same SAP note.
Basically what they trying to say is, once you install Xcelisius on the server, and applied SP2 and FP2.X you are stuffed.
Since your error is only on your client, then you should consider removing all the BO software on your client and reinstall it agian from scratch.
For me, I need to rebuild the whole server from ground up.
I asked for a special fix, but was rejected
I was advised to install Xcelsius and CR on server for troubleshooting purposes, but seem like this is really a bad idea now.

The software package was bought from german distributor CANCOM on 2013-01-03.
I set up my account at Adobe and posted the serial number.
This is the licence:
After 30 days I could not use Acrobat. Most time I only need the distiller for creating pdf from
Indesign. I reinstalled Acrobat several times, after 30 days it stops working again.
I contacted the support but without success. This PC used WIN XP.
Now I got a new PC win WIN7.
I got the message to visit may account, which I did. I can't remember to ckeck the serial
number.
Photoshop and Indesign are working. Acrobat stopped after 30 days, this is the point my
request started.
Trying to put in the serial number again yields this:

Could you please elaborate more about the issue?
What are the challenges you are facing with activation of Acrobat ?
The basic method to activate/license Acrobat is by typing in your Adobe credentials ,i.e Adobe
ID and password.
That will let you access Acrobat easily.
Let us know if you are experiencing any more difficulties in activating Acrobat .

Cannot use photoshop after paying for subscription

I had been using photoshop on a monthly subscription and I stopped it. Could not restart that subscription so I paid for a new one. Problem now is I cannot use photoshop at all. I tried entering the old serial number to see if it would work and it did not. I have not received a new serial number for the new subscription. I also tried downloading the creative cloud for photoshop to install and i got an error. I do not know how to fix this problem.

I got the Creative Cloud to Install. I did use the steps that were given in other discussions here and those did not work. I did find this on a google search and it worked. The only thing I did not do was the CC Cleaner since Creative Cloud was never installed in the first place.
1. Restart Windows
2. Download Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
3. Run Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and choose option 3 and then option 1 to complete the cleaning process.
4. Once done please rename OOBE folder from these locations:
Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Local\Adobe
5. Restart Windows
6. Download Creative Cloud
7. Run Creative Cloud file (CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe).
And it worked just fine and now Photoshop is working.

Equium A110: Cannot use LAN after wake up from hibernation or standby

I cannot use lan on my tosiba equium A110 after it wake up from hibernation or standby. The lan icon is there bur internet wont work. Please help me out.
One other problem. when i try to cut some thing i cannot paste it if i open a new folder. I have to keep the folder open go back cut it again and then paste it. I mean if after cut i open any folder it wont paste it.

Did you try to refresh the connection? Something similar happens on my notebook but not with LAN but with WLan. If you right click on the small lan icon you will see the option repair. Check it.
Have found also this possibility. I dont know if it will help but try it.
1. go to [Start] -> [Control Panel] -> select [System]
2. On system properties dialog box select [Hardware] tab -> click [Device manager]
3. On Device manager dialog box select [Networking adapters] -> double click [Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection]
4. Go to [Advanced] tab -> select [Wake On Settings] property -> Select [Wake on Magic & Directed]
5. Press [OK] to close the dialog box.

Cannot use emacs after the recent security update

After the most recent security update (Feb. 2008) for OS X 10.4.11,
I cannot use emacs anymore. The error message from the computer
is:
emacs: execv(/usr/bin/emacs-ppc) failed: Permission denied
I am using Powerbook 12". Anyone can help me to solve this problem?

4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

N97mini cannot use GPS after upgrading

hi there, just as mentioned, i bought n97mini and tried to use its gps function in UK. it worked perfectly before i upgraded
but after i downladed the nokia ma loader and upgrade map in my mibilephone, navagtion , my location, maps.....all could not find even 1 gps signal...i tried online with internet(WIFI)/ WAP , but nothing happened....
any solutions for it? thx

Thanks for your response, Jim. I had changed nothing on my handset so it SHOULD have continued working as it was.
However, just to let you know I have the same criteria set as yourself (Server use - Auto, APN - Internet, but the server address I have set as supl.vodafone.com (whereas you have set as supl.Nokia.com. However, whilst the server would help as A-GPS (to establish a quicker fix), the GPS data is direct from the satellites as opposed to data received from the server.
The other items you mention (positioning) I also have them set the same as yourself.
Today I managed to actually obtain a fix (GPS that is!! :-) ), but it took about 10 mins, whereas before it used to normally fix within about 30 secs, so I am now thinking it MAY???? have something to do with atmospherics - A "long shot" but I guess a possibility. Having said that, I tried with my N82 (which I've not used for about 6 months), and that obtained a fix within about 30secs, after it's initial positioning of about 15mins. Thereafter it (N82) fixed within about 30 secs. Mmmmm. interesting..

Cannot use telephone after setting up fax

I use the same line for talking and faxing. After I plugged in the phone line to the fax my phone stopped working. I can dial out and the phone rings in but nobody can hear me and I cannot hear them.

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you cannot use your telephone after setting up fax with your HP Officejet 6830 on Windows 8. I am sorry to hear this, but happy to help!
Is your phone line an analog or digital phone service? Analog. Digital. What’s the Difference?
If your phone service is digital you may need to get a filter for the line.
I would recommend going through this guide, Cannot Send or Receive Faxes, to verify the fax is connected properly.
For future reference, here is your printer's user guide, HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer User guides.
You might also want to contact your phone company as well, just to make sure there are no issues with them.

Ipad mini cannot use Safari after connecting to Youtube?

My ipad mini doesn't seem to want to open Safari after I try to watch videos on Youtube. I tried using the Youtube app, reinstalling it, and using Safari to open up Youtube videos, but no go. It seems that my ipad mini is also unable to use Safari after trying to watch these videos, and I have to go out of my way to turn off and turn on the Wifi button again. This is already my second ipad mini, because I exchanged the first one due to the "battery charging" issue.
I've already tried to do the home button + power button reset and reset all my other settings. I know it's not my router because I can use my netbook and my mom can use her laptop on it, and even her ipad. I have also had this ipad for about a month now, and the problem only arose this afternoon. If there is an internal problem, I'd really like to exchange it again while I still have warranty, but I was just wondering, did anyone else seem to have these problems? And if so, did you get it fixed?

I had a similar problem:
Original Windows 8 was in Portuguese, but I'd installed a English (US) Language Pack and used Windows most of time with English set as display language.
After updating to 8.1, I couldn't download the English Language Pack.
Windows displayed a message to connect to internet in order to downlad the language pack, eventhough the computer was already connected.
The solution that worked for me was going to advanced language settings (Run dialog -> "::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\0\::{BF782CC9-5A52-4A17-806C-2A894FFEEAC5}\CommonLangSettings") and choose "Use language list (recommended)" in "Override
for Windows display language"
After that, the language pack could be downloaded normally from English's Language Options

Lost Designer "new connection" option after fix pack install

Hi ! everyone,
I'm new in BOXIR2 and need all the help anyone can give me.
The problem is ; after updating to the lasted Service Pack and correspondent Fix ( SP3 ; FP3.3 ), the Designer "create new connection option" doesn't work.
Is there a solution besides removing the updates?

Sounds like the install of the patch either failed partially or you ran into a bug. Open a case with support (deployment team) and see if they can reproduce. I tested on FP 3.4 and it works fine.

Cannot use wifi after updating to 6.1.2 on my iPhone 4S WIFI solutions proposed by Apple are not working

Dear Apple.
I was really happy with my iphone4s, IOS 6.0, great product amazing quality and posibilities BUT.......
I updated from IOS 6.0 to 6.1.1. and the WIFI nightmare started.
I waited for a new update to fix the WIFI problems and I updated my iphone 4s from 6.1.1. to 6.1.2. in order to solve these problems related with WIFI connections.
But IOS 6.1.2. is even worst:
- WIFI is not working at all. So I cannot download apps greater than 50MB.
- Battery life is shorter than ever.
- 3G goes in and out every minute.
- When you operate the iphone4s you can realize that is hotter than before.
These problems are unnaceptable and inconsistent with a high quality standard product.
You can read a lot of blogs, I am not the only one.
Please give us a solution as soon as possible.

Try Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. See if better. If still problem, Restore iPhone with iTunes on your computer. See if better. If still problem, and if there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution.

Cannot use iWork after external drive backup

I am desperate to access my files. I recently backed up my hard drive and then left for abroad. Now when I try to open my iWork (Pages and Keynote) files, I am being given options to buy, take a tour or enter my serial number. Obviously away from my home I CANNOT find that information and I am desperate to get my files for the business day on Monday, Asian time. Any help, please!

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems, especially if you had to ever force quit it...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.

Software update my phone has gone into recovery mode and I cannot use it after doing the latest software update ???

I have just done the latest software udate ios7.1. the phone is showing the itunes logo and the connection lead. I plugged it into the pc and a message comes up saying this iphone is in recovery mode and must be restored before it can connect to itunes, but i cant get into the phone as the screen wont do anything. I clicked on the pc to restore the phone but nothing has happened. The phone is an Iphone5c

Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...
Restore from Backup > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer
iTunes free download from www.itunes.com/download
Note. Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...
