Old version Source code to .exe file conversion

I have a programming GUI source code (written in an older version of LabVIEW). Can it be supported by LABview Evaluation version 10.0.1 and be converted to an .exe file. How can I convert and use source code file for  programming? What do I need to convert and how?
I'm new to LABview. Please help!!

2010 can open VIs written in LabVIEW 6.0 or newer. Just double click on the top level VI. You will also need to install any hardware drivers (i.e. GPIB, DAQ, etc) that the old program used.
With the evaluation version, you can create an exe but it will have a watermark on the front panel.

You cannot do this by simple repacking/rearchiving of JAR, because it contains special descriptor with fingerprint. In general, JAR is unmodifiable, however, you can create a new one with modified sources.
You can try to import the JAR in some Java project in Eclipse, for example. Then make your changes and use the Eclipse's Export JAR wizard in order to repack the modified source Java files in a new JAR.

I general, yes, the operation is allowed. However, you cannot do this with JAR deployed on some J2EE server or Portal, for example. Because there are references to it.

Yes, sure. Use Import from Archive wizard in Eclipse. Or add the JAR in the class path of some Java project and Eclipse will show you the content of it.

  • To see the source code in .sca file

    Hi Experts,
We have installed EP with NWDI 7.0 2004s SP11 version.
I have installed NWDS 7.0.08 in mysystem.
I have been provided with a .sca file which contains the applications which are developed.
Now I have to see the source code of those applications in NWDS thru NWDI or by any other means.
    Thanks & regards
    Vardhan

    Hi Pascal,
I have already unzipped it and I got the folders like Build archives, Deploy archives, Meta inf, source archives.
Deploy archives consists of .sda files what you have said in your post.
Source archives folder has a .sc file.
I deployed that .sca file through sdm, but it is not available in the software components under CMS inorder to import it into track.
But that software component is available under my SLD--> installed systems products.
My objective is to see the source code in that .sca file.
What do you mean by double post and tripple post?
    Best Regards

  • Java code to exe-file

    Hi!
I hope someone can help me with this.
I have done a program in Java-code and now I want to convert that code into an executable file that can be run on most computers. I have tried to convert the code to a JAR-file and then, using the program JSmooth, transform it into a exe-file. But, sad to say...it failed. Is JSmooth the way to do it or is there another better way?
Hope to get an answer.. :)
    / Berenur

add a Main-Class: yourclass line to a manifest file, and specify your manifest when you create the jar.
    I.e.
    Manifest-Version: 1.4
Main-Class: myClassSave that to manifest.mf or something like that.
    Then,
jar -cvfm MyJar.jar manifest.mf [all files to include in jar]
    done.

  • Attaching source code of jar files in ecllipse edidor

    Hi all,
i want to attach source code for jre system library 1.5 while i am using ecllipse 3.2. i also want to attach other source code for struts.jar .
but i am unable to do it.
my another problem is that i have struts.jar 1.2.9 and source code for that version is not available on the apache site.
so please help me to attaching source file with jar files.
    thanks.

source code for jre system library 1.5 under eclipse: Window -> Preferences ->
Installed JREs -> here add JDK and not JRE
    (that's all !!)
source code for struts.jardownload struts.xxx-src.zip from struts web site the
add it to your struts project repository. Write some
code that uses the struts API then select a struts
class (ActionForm for example) and hit F3 keyboard
key. Finally, click the button Attach
    Source... and select struts.xxx-src.zip you've
    just downloaded.
do the same thing for all other jar which have a
    source code
hope that helpsRather than change JVMs to do this, you could just follow java_2006's instructions for the JRE, looking for the source inside the folder where your JDK is installed. It's in a file called src.zip

  • How to get the source code in PAR file

    Hi All,
I used the PAR migration tool to migrate from PAR to EAR file. When I imported the EAR into NWDS 7.3, I was just able to see the structure and jsp files and could not find the java source code files. I would requires the java source code to make modifications so that deprecated APIs can be replaced and to also make the code compatible with JDK 1.6.
I think the original 7.0 PAR file itself does not contain the source code. I decided to use the "Include source code" option when exporting the 7.0 PAR.
I have the portal application DC project in my NWDS 7.0. However, when I try to export the PAR file using Export --> PAR File -- > Next... I am unable to select any project from the list. The list appears blank with disabled Next & Finish buttons.
I also noticed that in the portal DC application structure, there is a .sda file under /gen/default/deploy. Also there is no PAR folder under /gen/default/public.
How do I include the source in the PAR file so that I can edit the same after migrating to EAR format ?
    Regards,
    Melwyn

DC and PAR/EAR stuff are different formats, SC/DC is an archive type used by NWDI, if I got it right.
How do I go about generating the PAR file (with source) ?
In fact through including the seources while creating the PAR/EAR in NWDS, but: no need to do that, you can also depack SDA (rename it to zip). If you wanna just see the Java sources you will find them there, otherwise decompile as Vijay already sad.
    cheers

  • Version number incorrect in .exe file properties

Just reporting a little glitch in version 9.3.4, just installed here. When I run the program, "Help; About" says that it's version 9.3.4 as expected. But the version number reported in the properties of AcroRd32.exe is still 9.3.3.177

Agreed. Software compliance scanning systems (like Retina) are scanning to make sure that the exe file was updated from 9.3.3 to 9.3.4. Since the expected file was not updated, it beleives there's still an open vulnerability and flags the system as non-compliant (which in very strict IT/system environments can cause the users computer to be taken off-line until it is remediated).

  • Dumping Global ABAP Objects Source Code to Text File

Hello People, this is my first post and my first time to join the forums.. and also my first time to code in ABAP.
Anyways, I was wondering if there is a way to dump the source code definition of any class/interface made in SE24 (Object Builder) onto a Text File; all the methods, attributes etc... of a class/interface. I've used SEO_METHOD_GET_SOURCE but it doesn't work.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Finding the source code from Jar file

    Hi,
I am a beginner java programmer but have been entrusted with learning our company's Java application. The architect of the application is not forthcoming in sharing information and so I need help in tracing the source code for the application. I know where the .jar files are stored but I don't know where the actual .java or .class files are stored.
In the .profile file, I see the classpaths set to various jar files. eg.
    CLASSPATH=$PATH:/eaid01_apps/merc01/libs/tools/java/drivers/bin/eaiRun.jar
When I view this jar file with command "jar tf eaiRun.jar", it displays all the files under it. Onc such listing is as following:
    citi/eai/EAI.class
    citi/eai/Interface.class
I want to go to that specific directory on our file system which is storing these .class or.java file. From what I have learned about packages, I should find some folder called 'citi' ,'eai'.
However I am not able to find these folders anywhere on file system. Is there a way I can find where the actual souce code is by looking at the jar files.
Please help. Let me know if you need more information.
    thanks,
    Anand.

Is there a way I can find where the actual souce code is by looking at the jar files. No, in general you can't, you should ask the architect that you mentioned earlier. The name of the source file is sometimes stored in the .class file for debugging purposes but that's unlikely going to help you find the files.
You should also ask if he/she has got any documentation of the system. It's often a lot easier to follow documentation written in human language than program code written in a programming language. There could be documentation in a format similar to this: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/

  • Download source code to Text file

    Hi all,
is  there any program which can be used to download the source code of a FUNCTION MODULE.
    thanks in Advance

    Hi Sai_ram,
You can download the individual includes of Function Module using Menu options:
    Utilities -> More Utilities -> Upload/Download -> Download
Use the same procedure to download the screens also. I mean Goto the Screen and follow the above Menu options to download the screen in a local .txt file
Note: In order to upload the screen again, just create a screen with the same screen number and use Menu options:
    Utilities -> More Utilities -> Upload/Download -> Upload
This is the way I use to download Report, Module pool program and Function Module.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to get source code and build files for Eudora 7, and price?

Looking for source code and build/make files for Eudora 7 to port to Win7 and Ubuntu 14. Where is a source for this and what is the cost?

Eudora OSE was based on Thunderbird and the source code for the Penelope add-on is open source (that is what made Thunderbird over to OSE)

But why I can read source code from rt.jar? I found there are only class files in it.I say it's highly likely that you can't and your IDE's settings rather automatically refer to the src.zip file in the JDK's directory.I see. That's true. I use eclipse as the source code reader. It may refer to the source code zip file automatically.
    Thanks all.

  • Could I use full development version to make a .exe file?

    Hi...
I am using a full development version LV 8.0 to program now.
The problem is obviously I do not have application builder to create the .exe file of my program.
Is there any other way to solve this problem with my current version?
Or is it possible to use the other language to handle it?
    Thank you!

You can buy the app builder as an add-on. You can pay someone with the app builder to build one for you. Probably won't be too expensive for a one-time deal but it would be harder for you to support it. It's possible to create a "loader" program that will run a VI. If you can get someone to build the loader program, you can then distribute your application as an llb. There is no other way.
"the other language"? What other language?

  • How do i open a source code in zip file

Hello! i"m having problems running my codes, i'm using windows and i'm having problems running the codes. At first i thought it was my codes, so i tried a friends code in a zip file and it still gives the same error: exception of in thread "main" java.lang.NoclassDef found error: Rewriter.
Rewriter is the name of the Zip file after opening it, i saved it on my system. Can anyone be kind enough to teach me how to run a java code. i have jdk already installed on my system. Java is my dream and the book i'm reading is useless if i can't run the system in the book.

I don't see where the zip file comes into it. If you are not familiar with compiling and running java codes, go through
    {color:0000ff}http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/getStarted/cupojava/index.html{color}
Click the link for your OS, and if you still have problems there's a link for "Common Problems (and Their Solutions)"
Come back if you have a specific question about what you read there.

  • Dreamweaver 2014.1 Live view is showing old version of file

I'm running Window 7 (64-bit) and upgraded from Dreamweaver CC 2014 to 2014.1 a couple days ago.  Since I'm using fluid grid design view is not available, so when I view my files in Live view Dreamweaver (DW) is showing very old versions when I edit some files (not all).  When I use split view the code is correct, but it doesn't correspond at all to what I'm seeing in Live View. The code window shows the current version of the file and the live view window shows an old version. Any idea?  Also, live view in this new version seems to be extremely slow.
Another question is, how can I re-install the old version (CC 2014)?  I tried to uninstall and re-install, but the install automatically installs 2014.1 and doesn't give an option. Thus far, I am very unhappy with what I've seen so far in 2014.1 and would really like to back off 2014 to speed things up.
    Thanks much

    Hi Preran.
I seam to have the same problem on a Mac. Also Live view keeps crashing and linked to Adobe BC.
If the live view crashes then the live view is showing an older version on the CSS file until I do a refresh. Its been driving me Nuts!
Also the CSS file is no longer automatically uploading to Adobe CC...
So I really could do with a solution for me to run on CC 2014.0 Please.
I am a subscriber to CC.
    Cheers Jake
