OLE Automation and executing a click event

Hi,
Is it possible to have a LiveCycle form click event execute from OLE Automation?

There's a couple of ways you can handle this, depending on what level of flexibility and complication you want. One way is to use dynamic events. You can then edit the events handled by your specific event case. There's a couple of examples that ship with LabVIEW that show you how to use dynamic events. A second way is to create a boolean control/indicator called "init", and then outside your event structure set the value using the "Value (signaling)" property. Then, edit your event case to also execute when the boolean's value changes.

The TypeLibary is in the Photoshop Elements directory e.g.:
C:\Programme\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0\TypeLibrary.tlb
It's not registered, but you can manually register it with the "regtlib.exe" of .NET

Differentiate Next and Previous link click events in Table Region

Hello,
Is there a way to find out whether "Next" link or the "Previous" link was clicked in a Table region when the user tries to navigate to a different range set?
Both "Next" and "Previous" links raise the event "goto". I need to manipulate the range start and range size of another VO. i.e., if Next was clicked I would want to increase the range start of another VO and If "Pevious" was clicked, I would want to decrease this range start.

Creation of diagram with the given data as input and to enable click event

Is it possible to create an image from a dynamic input. For example if a relationship exists between
A->B ,A->C ,A->D , B->E,B->F .
Then the initial diagram should display a node leaf diagram with A as root and B,C,D as leaf. When u click on B again different image should pop up displaying B as root and E,F as leaf.
Maybe Maps,SVG maybe useful, i am not sure of the implementation.

If I were you I'd store the day of week returned from DATE_COMPUTE_DAY in your cube in a new infoobject. Then bring in the text for the infoobject from table T246.

OLE Automation for Acrobat Reader

Hello guys
I have been reading some lines about OLE Automation for Acrobat READER and Full Acrobat.
So far I have seen most saying that Reader is not fully compliant with OLE. I really have zero experience with Adobe and before I buy a full acrobat license, I want to make sure of the following:
What I need to do is the next 4 simple calls:
Connect to Acrobat
Open a pdf file in invisible mode
Perform "Select All"
Copy Selection to clipboard
After that, I will importclipboard to my datawindow and I will be done for my programming task.
Have you had similar experiences about Acrobat OLE for PDF ?

I just want to process the content of some lines in the file to find specific strings.
As you may see, if you open the file with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat and go to the edit menu, by clicking "Select All" and "Copy" you will get the text ready for pasting.
I want to automate this process to prevent the users from opening the Adobe application.
I'm now testing with the functions provided by Adobe documentation to perform OLE Automation and ALMOST gave me what I need with the following code:

Everything works fine except the two lines. The Adobe application is open and the file shown, but when calling "Select All" and "Copy" in the function menuitemexecute, Adobe does not interpret these phrases.
Just to confirm that menuitemexecute has the right syntax, I tested a call for luo_app.menuitemexecute("find") and this command is well interpreted by Adobe, which immediately opens the find window at the right corner of the file

Click event on SWFLoader

Hello,
In my FLEX application i have a SWFLoader where i load some wsf files that are located in others places in the web. Some of the swf files loaded contain an hyperlink associated and, when the swf file is clicked, a new web page is opened.
So, i need to count the number of clicks made in the SWFLoader but, in the case when the swf file has an hyperlink associated, the click event is not fired. What can i do to detect if a click was made in the SWFLoader?

Note : In the above code button_btn is the Flash button instance of the SWF file and the corresponding type in the Flex will be SimpleButton...In your post you said that you are using a HyperLink so may be you should flash.text.TextField datatype instead of SimpleButton.
Try to debug by putting a break point at onSWFLoadComplete function and watch the loadedSWFMainTimeline varibale you will come to know the exact type and the other parameters in the SWF file.

Js ctrlKey or metaKey don't work in OS X in click event

When checking for ctrlKey and metaKey in click event, I always get false. Photoshop CC 2014

I'm sorry, but I shouldn't have to go back to 10.5.8 to get features of my app to work. All other apps work fine using Rosetta. But, not droplets in PS, even when I'm running it under Rosetta. Apple has made updates to 10.6 to address problems with Adobe products, namely issues with saving, printing etc. Surely they didn't do this without some collaboration with Adobe? Am I going to have to wait for CS5 before droplets and other such features work in 10.6? I'd gladly take the issue up with Apple, but they'd tell me that it isn't their product and to contact Adobe, which is more or less the case here. Unless Adobe has CS5 coming out in the next couple of months isn't it reasonable to suggest that Adobe work with Apple to correct some of these issues? Perhaps Adobe could discover why droplets don't work in Rosetta, which would essentially be the same as reverting back to 10.5.8 for the specific app. I understand very well how updates of any kind can cause issues. But a lack of effort to remedy these issues by either party involved is simply not fair. "Oh well" just isn't acceptable anymore. If Adobe or Apple made a noticeable effort and still failed to correct the issues, then fine. Some things can't be fixed. However, I suspect that in this case the issues have been given little attention.

Click Event Script Stopped Working. Please Help!

I must have forgotten a step in making an email button that will pull the data from a form field into the subject line of an email and let me create the body of an email.

Click event on sub page menu makes my master page menu go away..???

I've populated a menu using xml retrieved from a stored procedure and all is working great, except when I select an item from the sub menu and call a click event and it makes my main menu on my site.master go away and shifts the current aspx page up.

How to listen for actionContent button click event in View

Hello,
Doing this:
FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.addEventListener('actionContentClick',showOptions);
Results in calling showOptions() as many times as the view was showed. The handler sticks and each time I enter a view in the creationComplete hander for it I add the same listener over and over again.
How should this be done?
1. FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication is the right object to listen to?
2. I can remove the listener on view deactivate, but I am not sure if that will be called each time the view goes away.
3. Can I check if an object already has a listener and which is it?

I was complicating things for myself by exposing methods in the main MXML file to add and remove and listen to click events on a button placed in the actionContent, instead of declaring it in MXML for each and adding a listener to it. Views had different actionContent buttons or rather icons for them.
In regards to hasEvenListener, can I also get the method(s) attached to that? Probably not though.

How can i disable a submit button and execute submit_action method on click

On my page I have a submit button that execute the submit_action method of the page backing bean that submit data captured on the page into a database and activate another class that send mail at the same time on a click of the submit button,the mail process takes a while before returning back to the page.I was able to disable the submit button to prevent the user from keep click while the process is running but the issue is on clicking the submit button it only disable the submit button without executing the submit_action method of the page backing bean.How can i disable the submit button and execute submit_method of the backing bean at the same time.

I tried this out on one of my pages to see if it works.
First, I added the following JavaScript to my submit button's onClick event:
this.disabled=true; return true;When I clicked the submit button, it was disabled but the form was not submitted.
I deleted the JavaScript from the onClick event and added the following JavaScript to the form's onSubmit event:
var button = document.getElementById("form1:submitButton"); button.disabled=true; return true;When I click the submit button, it was disabled and the form was submitted but the button's action method was not called.
The next thing I tried was to change the onSubmit event code:
var button = document.getElementById("form1:submitButton"); setTimeout("button.disabled=true", 500); return true;This seemed to work. The difference was that I added a 1/2 second delay before disabling the button.
See if that works for you. If not then I'm fresh out of ideas.

How to detect only single click and not double-click mouse events in Swing?

Hi,
In my application, I want to implement a functionality only for single click. But problem is on double click, first i can see a single click and then double click.
i.e e.getCount() return 1 and then 2 for double click. I want to avoid this situation.
Shouldn't it be just one event with a clickCount of 2? or any alternative solution?
Please let me know how can i stop this.
