OLE Library Interface

Hi,
I insert an OCX element ,and i insert the object "Microsoft Web Browser".Then import OLE Library Interfaces and i choose the Shell.explorer.2 to display a pdf file.
It's work properly.
Can i use a procedure or a property from OLE Library to insert a text or a new page in the displayed pdf file?

The java packages where this classes and interfaces are implemented are:
- com.sap.security.api.ssf
- com.sap.security.core.server.ssf
You can find this in the jar file tc_sec_ssf.jar.

How would I save my customized iTunes library interface?

Hello all
I want to reboot my hard drive due to some operating problems and corrupted files, and as I did rudely discover in my previous attempts, all information in my personalized iTunes library along with (obviously) the program itself was lost, despite my attempt at backing the library up.
Now, I have amassed and organized a somewhat large collection of music on my iTunes again, have all the files backed up outside the computer itself, and I need to do a bit of house cleaning. So I guess my question is whether there is any way I can save the interface of my iTunes library, edited and customized information and all?

You cannot use his library any more than he can use yours. You can, however, use Home Sharing:

ITunes Library Interface Corrupted.

Hi all
I'd be grateful for any solutions to this iTunes problem.
When I double-click a track in my iTunes Library, iTunes skips to a different track.
The original track may then disappear, the album track list may re-order itself, with tracks titles disappearing or duplicating.
Artwork and track titles are also mis-labelled.

Now I double-click a random track on this album (North Country Blues) and this happens:

Skipped to a different song and album. Original track gets renamed or moves or disappears from the iTunes interface altogether.
Everything works fine if I work from Windows Explorer and open files with a different media player.

Thanks, dude - I'll mark that as helpful, although I already read that article.
Turns out my corruption was worse than I outlined. I found files that had been renamed.
This is what I've done:
I trashed the iTunes folder in the default location ~/Username/Music
I reopened iTunes and went to Preferences and set the location to my external drive array
I then went through all the files and "cleaned them up" (renamed files that needed it - created folders and put files in them - etc.)
Now, I'm going through those folders one by one and reloading them into the Library.
When I get finished I'll do what I SHOULD have been doing all along - making backups of that directory. Hopefully this will solve the problem.

which installs a .tlb library

Short answer: download a non-activation version of CS2 from Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
Longer answer: Adobe shut down the activation server for CS2 (and earlier versions) a couple of years ago. For CS2 owners, they've made available a non-activation version of CS2 at the above link.
Download the non-activation version and use the new non-activation serial number provided there. Your existing CS2 serial number will no longer work.

Good Ole' Library Issues

This problem keeps happening to me. I've been using iTunes for years on the same computer, but now within the past 6 months I keep having a problem with my iTunes library becoming "damaged". After I import all of my music files, the program and playback works fine. After I leave my computer for a day or so and then go to re-open iTunes, I get a message saying that my library file appears to be "damaged". iTunes then opens up but only with 1/8th of my actual music loaded into the library.
I love iTunes and don't want to stop using it, but I can't stand having to reload all of my music back into the library every 24 hours. Can someone PLEASE help me?
I have since downgraded to Windows XP only to have to same problems and then upgraded back to Vista, only to have to same problems. Could the issue be related to the fact that I keep all my music on a hard-drive that is different from the one that I have Windows (my documents/music) and iTunes installed on?

The guide data is not updated when the schedule is shifted by Sports events. TGW last night by the MASTERS (PGA) that went a bit over schedule. This is a common problem with ALL DVR's and not unique to Verizon.

Go to View > View Options, and check the box for "Composer."
This will create a column that displays the Composer field for each track, and will allow searching and sorting on that field.
Depending how carefully your library is tagged, you may find that the field is empty in some cases. If you wish to update it, right-click the track, Get Info, go to the Info tab and type in the correct information, then OK out.

Import OLE methods in Oracle Forms 6i

Hi,
I am experiencing some problems to import OLE methods in Oracle
Forms 6i.
In Forms 6i, I select Program->Import OLE Library Interfaces
menu option. After the Import OLE Library Interfaces dialog box
appears, I can see the OLE Class that I would like to access
but none of its methods or events.
Why the methods and events do not appear?

If all you want to do is extract the documents from the Long Raw columns, you can use UTL_FILE to extract the binary content to the file system. You would have to loop through the records in your table to extract each file. Take a look at article Export BLOB Contents Using UTL_FILE that I googled. Granted, this article discusses exporting a BLOB not a Long Raw, but the concept is the same and you should be able to modify the code sample in the article to work with your Long Raw columns.

Making use of 'obsolete' OLE container in Forms10g

I have a column in a database table of type LONG RAW . This column was represented as an OLE Container - which in 10g is obsolete - in a form (Forms 6i). Trying to compile this form to Forms10g , I receive an error FRM-30454.
Is it possible to retain the form as it is , by simply change a property , ....
Anyway , What are the possible solutions for this kind of problem?

What is the role of 'Importing OLE Library Interfaces' which is a menu selection found on Forms Builder menu->Program->Import OLE Library Interfaces?
How is there the capability to import for example 'Word.Document' OLE classes as OLE containers are obsolete?
Is there an example on how to use them...?
I didn't find anything -only directions on how to import- in the on-line help of Forms 10g!!!

i'm using form6i and run in client server.
when i try to call ms agent in forms this error appeared
my code below:

then import ole library interfaces

To Embed Animated Flash Object (Shockwave *.swf File) in Oracle Forms, Please Follow the Steps Below.
1. Draw "ActiveX Control" Item on Canvas with the Name "OCXITM".
2. Select "ActiveX Control" Item & Go to its Properties (By Pressing F4).
3. Select "ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash" in "OLE Class" Property of "ActiveX Control" Item.
4. Come again to the Canvas.
5. Right Click on "ActiveX Control" Item, Select "Insert Object...".
6. In Control Type List, Select "Sockwave Flash Object" and Press "OK".
7. On Canvas, Select "ActiveX Control" Item, Go to "Program" Menu, Select "Import OLE Library Interfaces...".
8. Select All "Method Package(s)" & "Event Package(s)" for "ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.X" & Press "OK".
9. Go to "Object Nevigator" (By Pressing F3) & Expand "Program Unit" to verify that the Packages are Successfully Imported.
10. Compile All the Objects (By Pressing "Ctrl+Shift+K").

Running flash objects in forms 6i

Dear all,
I am trying to run a flash object (.swf) file in my forms.
My version of oracle forms 6i is Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.11.3 (Production)
I created a new forms
then placed an active X control
Then by selecting its properties i select ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.10.
After this I select this control and right click and chose the same shockwave flash
After this I chose full methods and properties for shockwaveFlash in program menu-->import ole library interface
after doing all this i wrote the code in "when-new-form-instance"

no error.....
But when i run this program it gives the following error
FRM-41344: OLE object not defiend for OLEITM in the current record.
I have tried to resolve this error by searching on Google, but found no proper solution.
I might me missing some steps.

Calling a Crystal Report from and Oracle Form6i

I am attempting to call a crystal report from within an oracl form. I would appreciate documentation/suggestions on how to accomplish this task.

I have used crystal reports from oracle forms in one of my project. Send a mail to this address, i ll reply you back with the source code. My email address is [email protected] .
But if you just want to know the steps here it is :
STEPS TO display the Crystal Report in Oracle Forms :
1. Create a new form.
2. Create a control block, name it 'CONTROL'.
3. Create a CONTENT canvas, name it 'REPCAN'.
4. Create an ActiveX control on the canvas, name it 'CrystalReport1'.
5. Create a Image item , name it 'REP'. Make sure that image item overlaps the ActiveX control completely, this image item is used to get the item handle. Enlarge this object such a way that it will fit the window, the report gets displayed in this item so the item size should be adeqately large.
6. Right click on the ActiveX control item, select Insert Object from the menu.
7. From the list select Crystal Reprot Control.
8. Select the Progrm=> Import OLE Library Interface Menu in the form.
9. Select Crystal.CrystalReport from the List, this will list two methods and one Event . The two methods are CrystalCtrl and IRowCursor, the event is CrystalReprotEvent.
10. Select all the three and click on the OK button to accept. This will create the program units.
11. In the When-New-Form-Instance trigger of the form write the following code.

One thing to mark here is the, change the report name and path according to your required file name and path in
Crystal_CrystalCtrl.ReportFileName (:Item('Control.CrystalReport1').interface,'C:\Sample_Rep.Rpt');
12. If you want to run multiple reports then create a parameter and pass the file name to the form through the parameter. In the above line of code, you can replace the file name with parameter, so each time the form is called with different parameter with the file name , it displays different reports.
13 Run the Form.

Parallel threads are easy in Labview. You just create two loops where the output of either loop is not connected to the input of the other. Without this data dependency, the two loops run in parallel. See the attached vi, my producer-consumer template. Replace the random number generator in the top loop with your serial port code. Put your other processing code in the bottom loop. Use the queue to pass info from one loop to the other. You can signal the lower loop when the serial port receiving is done by putting something on the queue that signifies the completion (like a "done" string). Your lower loop will constantly check the queue, looking for the "done" string. You can use a boolean if you remove the string wires and replace them with boolean types.
Bytes at Port will look at the serial port buffer and report the number of bytes sitting there waiting to be read. Call it before you read, and pass the number from bytes at port to the read function. Search the LV examples for serial port and you will see how bytes at port is used.

Third party ocx controls with oracle 6i forms

I would appreciate if anyone can get the solution on how to work with the ocx controls on the oracle forms.i am doing the same thing and when I embed the ocx control on the form during design time and then execute it then the ocx control is lost during run time as I have to insert the object on the oracle form during the run time again and then how do I call the functions of the ocx ?please guide me at the earliest.thank you.

Firstly upgrade to the latest patch of 6i, early version of 6i have a bug where OCX licence information is not correctly stored with the container, so in some cases the control will not instanciate at runtime.
To call functions in the control, the simplest thing to do is to use the OLE Importer (MENU: Program -> Import OLE Library Interfaces). Choose the class of your control and Forms will generate you a PL/SQL package to call all the functions in the control.
The rest is up to you - you have to know the API of the control you are using.
