  • FRM-40922 an ole error occurred: 0X8007000e

    Hi,
I have a problem with a procedure in form in Oracle Forms 6i. The procedure creates an excel file. It is needed to start procedure for period of one year. When I do so, I'm getting next error:
FRM-40922 an ole error occurred: 0X8007000e
If I start the procedure for shorter periods which are consequential and which, in total, cover whole year, there is no error. But it is needed to start the procedure for whole year at once because shorter periods will give repeated data.
It seems like there is a problem with the amount of data, and I expect around 6000 or 7000 rows in excel for period of whole year.
This is urgent, so, help if possible.
    Tnx in advance,
    Nati

  • OLE error when opening word document

    Hi,
I have a form that allows update of word documents stored in blob fields in the database.
The form works fine. except that if I open and update a document that has a footer and then save the document back into the database without the footer, it is no longer possible to open it.
    Can anyone help?
Sometimes I get FRM 40922 : An OLE error occurred 0x80004005
Otherwise when I click on the icon nothing happens.
    Thank you
    Michael

I can avoid this problem by leaving the footer and returning to the main document view before saving the document.

    Hi,
We are having our forms upgraded to Oracle 10g and there is one external text editor to edit text items. After calling that editor from application we kept both application and editor idle for 30 minutes. Then once the editor is closed and clicked on the application we are getting the error " FRM-92102: A network error has occurred. The forms client has attempted to reestablish its connection to the server 5 time(s) without success. Please check the network connection and try ".
We are getting this error after upgration.

  • I receive an error FRM-30454.

I have a column in a database table of type LONG RAW . This column was represented as an OLE Container - which in 10g is obsolete - in a form (Forms 6i). Trying to compile this form to Forms10g , I receive an error FRM-30454.

    Hi,
OLE is obsoleted in 10g. So, you may want to remove the OLE item and use the OLE2 package to invoke the related application programatically.
You may also want to use a PJC to do the same (Search this forum with PJC and you would get plenty of examples). Also, check out webutil, for client side OLE functionality.

  • OLE error code in Windows 8.1

    Good day,

"OLE error code 0x80040154: Unknown COM status code. Ole object is being ignored. Record number 6."
I have tried to read through similar issues but could not find my way out.
    kindly help. Thanks

It's not sufficient to simply add the missing file, activex need registering.
Your SCX knows what file it uses in it's OLE2 column.
    USE your.scx
    BROWSE FOR !EMPTY(Ole2)
    Look inside.
And you better not only include that file in your setup, you also set it's properties so the setup registers it. And you better look out for a merge module installing an AcitveX and dependencies.
The properties of files you add to the installer project also have a COM settings tag, which includes Scan at Build, that scans for dependencies. Setting that for your EXE will make Installshield Express look out for any COM dependencies your EXE has and
will result in build warnings at least.

Last week There was A patch applied to AIX box [Security Patch LIBC] and after that, we are experiencing numerous issues like 1. process full, 2. too many open connections 3.Failiure occurred in server need to restart the session.
When we do a ps -ef in the server, we see lot of threads like "f90runm server webfile=HTTP-0 ". We remember, this was not the situation before applying the patch. When this count reaches approximately 260, users are not able to login and getting error. We dont have concurrent users more than 100. Can you please advise us how to resolve this problem. This application is running in the same environment for last 3 years without any problem, but after applying patch to UNIX box, it seems everything disturbed.

  • FRM-92102 - A network error has occured

    Hi,
I'm deploying a forms 9i application on the intranet. I'm using Oracle Application Server Forms and Reports Services 9.0.4 under Red Hat Linux AS 4.0, along with an Oracle 9i Database on another server (actually multiple databases, used for benchmarking). Every time I connect from a remote PC on the network under Windows XP Pro or Windows 2003 Server, after a few seconds or minutes, I get the error message: FRM-92102 - A network error has occured after ...
I did a lot of research on the internet. I'm using Internet Explorer 6.0, so I tried from Netscape 8.0 and Netscape 7.0, but I got the same problem. I changed the networkRetries in the formsweb.cfg to 5, but it didn't change anything.
On the other hand, I installed the Oracle Application Server Forms and Reports 9.0.4 on a Windows platform and it works perfectly, with no network error problems.
Also note that the Forms 9i application uses Webutil.
So, right now, I'm a bit lost. Can anyone please tell me if there is some parameter I have to set, or something I should do to make it work?
    Thanks a lot

I'm sorry, but I'm having a difficult time understand what you are saying...
What do you mean here? "... +if the forms run first then the report will not run it gives always this error+ ..." Are you loading the report results in the same browser that is running the form?
this will be the problem i should posted :
*2.1 Oracle HTTP Server Returns 503 Apache Bridge Failure Error While Toggling Between Forms and Reports*
While toggling between Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports applications through Oracle HTTP Server, you may see the "503 Apache Bridge failure" error. This is due to the wrong patch 12632886 being shipped with the Oracle Forms and Reports installer.
This document found in : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24269_01/doc.11120/e25445/install_upgrade.htm#BABHBABB
for those with oraclesupport find the document subject : Forms / Reports 11g Intermittent FRM-92103 Or "Failure of Server APACHE Bridge" - OHS Log Shows "apr_socket_connect call failed" [ID 1380762.1]
    I downloaded the patch from
OPatch 12632886 (OHS-WLS COMMUNICATION NOT WORKING ON IPV6 ENABLED SOLARIS M/C [Patch ID 14069292]) for your Windows Platform from My Oracle Support
i successfully patched now its working.
