On run time i want deactive my help screen...

dear friend's,
i have one item (like:- textitem) in oracle forms6i
when i run that forms and press f1 that time property of item menu screen will be populated right .
problem is :-
when i click on ok button then only focus(cursor) will come back on item . but
i want that screen one side on forms same time cursor will land on item . wat will do ???

Probably because there is a problem with your network.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

I'm trying to create a dynamic table based on an run-time created view object. All go ok, but table binding component take the first view/iterator state and don't reflect changes they have. Please, take a look:
1. At run-time the view is being replaced by new red-only one based on query in application module:
getQueryView().remove();
createViewObjectFromQueryStmt("QueryView", statement);
2. Page definition file contains an iterator (using iterator or methodIterator - doesn't matter) binding and table, which binds to the iterator, like:

DataControl="QueryServiceDataControl" RangeSize="10"/>
<table id="distributeQuery11" IterBinding="distributeQuery1Iter"/>
3. The page code uses <af:table>. But, if I use table binding (it's right) like this:

<af:forEach items="#{bindings.distributeQuery11.attributeDefs}" var="def">
the table will never changed (i.e. still show the first view instance).
When I tried to use iterator binding directly (it's bad and cannot provide all needed features unlike CollectionModel from table binding) I saw that table works!
(Code is somehing like:

<af:forEach items="#{bindings.myIterator.attributeDefs}" var="def">
Why the table binding do not reflect changes in iterator? Or should I use different approach?

I got it to work! I used a hybrid approach comprised of some of your code and some of Steve Muench's AcceessAppModuleInBackingBean example.
In the setBindings method, I execute an app module method that redefines the query, then I used your code to delete and recreate bindings and iterator:

When I run it I get my desired results. One thing I don't quite understand is why when the page is first rendered it shows the last set of records rather than the first. Now I have to figure out how to put navigation URLS in each of the table cells.

Yes they can coexist, but not how you did it.
Every iteration of the while loop you wait for an event in the event structure, and you look if the user has selected anything from the menu.
To get this working you should add an event for <this VI>\Menu Selection (User):

PS you should add a stop button, the only way you can stop the VI is hitting the 'emergency stop' button, with hardware connected (like you have) this is not the adviced routine

Portal Run time error after changing the logon screen

Hi all,
I am running an EP7 SP08 and I try to change the logon screen as described on:

I copied the 'com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak' file, renamed it to 'my.new.logon.par'. after that I extracted the file with winzip. I opened the directory 'PORTAL-INF\lib\' and there I extracted the file 'umelogonbase.jar' with winrar. I opened the file 'logonLabels_en.properties' and changed the entry 'xtit_WELCOME=Welcome' to 'xtit_WELCOME=blablabla'.
I repacked the umelogonbase.jar with winrar again and after that I repacked the 'my.new.logon.par' with winzip again.
Then I placed the par file back at '<J2EE_Engine_Instance>\j2ee\cluster\server<X>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd' and changed the authscheme.xml with the new par file and changed the 'login.authschemes.definition.file' all described on the help.sap.com url mentioned above.
However, when I restart the portal and open the logon screen I see the error message:

An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : N/A
Component Name : N/A
The exception was logged. Inform your system administrator..
See the details for the exception ID in the log file
The default trace shows the following message:
An error occured during authscheme computation.
[EXCEPTION]

Is there anyone who knows what goes wrong? The description on help.sap.com is very straightforward but still it doesn't work for me...

Check if you did the following steps pertaining to the authschemes.xml file:
--> Download the authschemes.xml to local drive. Rename the file to,say, authschemes_new.xml
--> In authschemes_new.xml, did you change <b>all</b> entries of com.sap.portal.runtime.logon with the name of modified logon par file?
-->Upload the authschemes_new.xml file using configtool; and, change the property login.authschemes.definition.file to authschemes_new.xml in configtool.
-->Finally,restart your portal. Hope it helps.

Hi,
As mentioned several times above, you cannot use Forms for displaying dynamic columns. So, you have two options (AFAIK).
1. Create maximum number of items and set their visibility off based on the user input.
2. Create a PJC (may be by extending JTable), and display dynamic columns (i feel it is a bit complicated and not straight forward as it sounds). Here is a [simple howto|http://sheikyerbouti.developpez.com/forms-pjc-bean/first-bean/first_bean.pdf] to build the PJC.

you want generate the priamry key when you insert data in into table.
your v_query does it insert data, if this is the case then you can use trigger as shown below;
1. first make one sequence
2. then make one trigger

Hi,
You will not be able to do this with a standard radio button, as each one will be in a separate instance of the row.
The easiest way is to use a checkbox (as you can script this on/off) and then make it look like a radio button.

DAQmx Run Time 5 + LV Application Support

Hi
I want to use the DAQmx RT 5 installer for a smaller foot print install.
The only other thing I need is support for LV 8.x
But I don't want to go to a bigger run time install if I can help it.
Is there any installer available that installs all the LabVIEW VIs needed for DAQmx?
If I had this, I can keep the size down on my installer.
I tried moving files manually but it didn't work, I am guessing that it registers it somewhere?
Is there an installer avialable or does anyone have a work around?

Thanks guys for your posts, however I think you have misinterpreted my original post, so I will try again:
Obivously I need the LabVIEW run time installed. But I am talking DAQmx - when you install DAQmx you need to install the main "Run Time", but you also need to install the VIs that you use in your application otherwise it will be broken. When you create an exe these are not included in the build. There are in VI.lib, but they are not in the LabVIEW 8.x Run Time they are in the DAQmx Run Time. I am trying to use the smallest Run Time possible to minimise it's footprint. However, you have to go to the big one to install ADE support. If I could use DAQmx RT 5 + get my hands on a seperate ADE installer for LabVIEW (I imagine this would not be large in size) it would be SWEET!
I am pretty sure the ADE DAQmx VIs get installed here - C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.6\vi.lib\DAQmx and that location is used for the Run Time as well. I am at work but I have been playing around at home so I can't check right now. I tried to copy and paste them, or include them in my installer, it does not work (I am thinking something is registered when using the NI installer or I am missing something)
E.g. The Run Time 5 does not include the following:
NI LabVIEW SignalExpress
Application development environment (ADE) support for LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio
The DAQ Assistant
NI-DAQmx documentation
LabVIEW Real-Time support
Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX)
Not having ADE support for LabVIEW means that your exe will be broken. I don't need all the other stuff just whatever is in DAQmx RT5 and ADE support!
I am looking for a small install (from NI?) that could do this. Is this available?

i am trying to use the keyword "order_time" in for/next.
it says on the admin guide on page 111 that, "you can use the passed members of a dimension in a for/next loop, when the validation is performed at run time".
my question is:
1) what is validation performed at run time?
2) how does one perform validation at run time?

Are you handling it in valueChangeListener? Have you set the properties
AutoSubmit to true
Immediate to true
for the drop down? On top of that as Timo has mentioned you need to set the partialTrigger property of the inputText to the dropdown.

Run time Error 457

Hi,
We upgraded to BI 7.0, after upgrade the query is executing fine but while restricting a time characteristic the query throws an error "Run Time Error 457, this key is already associated with an element of this collection". This happens only in the production server, the query is working fine on development and test servers. When i try to access the variable associated with the time characteristic thru query designer the query designer window gets blocked displaying the same above message. I guess the error is related to Visual Basic of MS Office.
Please let me know the procedure for resolving the issue.

Media Manager run time error.

Need lots of help with Blackberry Desktop Manager. When I click on the "media manager" it starts Roxio but then I get a "run-time error message". Any help on that topic?
Then when I am registering or installing my software.........it asks me for a password, but won't let me use the one I am giving them. I am thinking that my son registered us a while back and he cannot remember the password he used. Any help on that topic?

Its very critical issue,wherein i am getting run time error for multiple counter plan.
Explanation:While try to change the Call horizon or scheduling period of the counter based plan through IP42 or IP15,systam allowing me to change the data but while saving also i am getting "Maintenance plan has changed" message and once come to the back of the transaction instantly i am getting pop up window saying that "Express document get terminated".However we have been maintaining copy of this data in another client wherein we are not getting any Run time error.
Please find the screen shots for your reference and please let me know how to fix the issue.
