Once drawImage working it has stopped reading rest of programe

Question

i have sorted out the problem with the drawImage command. however once i got the drawImage to work correctly then it appears to have stopped reading the rest of the program. Another words it no longer reading the other methods. how do i fix this problem?

you are right i should show the code, the reason why i did not show the code is that it is very long at the moment, but here it is

the problem is that when i include the "gifImages" in the drawImage line then the program seems to skip over the main method and hence nothing gets set. if i leave out the "gifImages" then the only problem when compiling the code is with the drawImage line. clear as mud?
