One ide ,one sata,grub problem

I have two hard disk,first boot ide,second boot sata.I install grub and archlinux on the ide disk. The problem is the ide one can boot ,but the sata one can't boot?(I have installed winxp and archlinux on this disk).

Hello I have a slight problem. On one of my Hardrives (the ide one) windows xp is installed and when I set the boot priority to that hard drive windows xp start without a problem, ie windows bootloader is on it.
And when I set the sata hd as the first bootpriority grub starts and arch boots without a problem. However my problem is that I want the sata hd (with grub) to be able to boot the to, so I dont have to change the hd boot priority. How can it be done ?

I have an email account causes the machine to hang up after being in use for a day. It only occurs on my Macbook Pro and only one particular account. The problem account works fine on my iMac and Windows Machines. Any ideas what is causing this?

I have been to the local Genius bar and through trial and error we have determined that Mail is working ok but somehow the account is causing the problem. I have used this account for years. Any ideas what is causing this?

No idea why, but one thing you may try if you have the time, is create a new user, and set up the problem mail account in the new user space. See if it causes your MBP to hang as well. That will tell you if it is something wrong with your main User, or something wrong with MBP.
Assuming this works, I'd nuke the problem account in your main user space, re-start, and reinititate the account and see if that helps.
Depening on how many email accounts you have setup, it may be necessary to nuke the whole Mail folder in your User/Library.... Hard way to get it to work, but just my idea.

Problem is, my top button disables itself (and the animation doesn't work) if it overlaps into the "hidden" nav bar area (indicated by a blue rectangle). I can cmd click and drag it into this area, but then all the rest of my site is pushed down the page. Don't know what to do about this. I don't know how to bring the rest of the page up without dragging it also into the designated nav bar area. Well, you made a good start with SEO by getting rid of the iWeb default navigation since it doesn't help the spiders and, out there in the real world, there are more people than you would think with javascript turned off in their browsers.
One of the downsides of iWeb is that it doesn't allow for the alt attribute in the img tag. Its well worth adding these to give you extra keywords even if you have captioned all your images. Use iWeb SEO Tool for this...

Error when running jaxb-example-ant-script on sun one ide

I get following error message when i run the ant-compile target for

Owning 2 iphones with one Apple account has = Sync Problems.

Owning 2 iphones with one Apple account has = Sync Problems. iTunes is thinking my old iphone 4 is the same phone as my iphone 5C. When I plugged in my iphone 5C it auto synced my 5C to iTunes and it wiped my 5C and restored it to the same content as is on my iPhone 4. This is a big problem since my 5 year old has been using the iPhone 4. It's all Mickey Mouse and Backyardigans. (Total photo/app/contacts loss)
I was able to update the 5C and restore from a 3 month old backup that is actually the content from the 5C but now when I plug in my 5C it wants to "setup as new phone" or "restore from backup" What's going on? I'm afraid to choose either option.
How can I get iTunes to see these devices as 2 and not one?
Can I use my Apple ID on both phones still or is this the problem?

They were both displaying the same name in iTunes. I changed the name of the iPhone 4 before the 5C was plugged in but it still went ahead with syncing it to the 4's data.

Tell your wife to get her own Apple ID. If you do not want continuity/handoff to work with calls, on both devicesgo to Settings==>>FaceTime==>> Turn OFF iPhone cellular calls.

You are merely storing Smart Previews of your files in the cloud space, high-quality JPEGs of your files regardless of their original format on your desktop. The point is that they are there so you can continue editing them in a Lightroom-like environment even while away from your desktop/laptop computer. The files in Lightroom Mobile can only be used in Lightroom Mobile.
This is very different from what is offered by the Creative Cloud storage, which can be used to synchronize your files between any device (that can support the individual files).
The vast difference in how each service works and its intended use is why they are separate.

I was able to fix it. In Filebrowser-view I had a coverflow-preview mode on. Changing it to list-mode problems are gone!

This is bad - I have an Apple automated response that they got my report on 12/6, 12/10 and 12/14, and I haven't heard anything from them since the 6th when I got one reply that told me to do things I tried before reporting the problem. Between the 6th and 10th I replied to their response 4 times and they ignored me, forcing me to report a problem with two more items that wont download but getting no response.
How do they get away with this kind of behavior, especially for someone with FIVE Core 2 Duo macs and thousands of dollars of of iTunes store purchases? I'm getting really ******.

Problem in displaying images one by one in JList

I have a problem in displaying images one by one in Jlist. I want to show 100 images as a thumbnailview in jlist but it is talking too much time to show all the images after scalling 100 images to thumbnail view and making it into ImageIcon. So, i thought that it would be better way to show one by one after scaling it into thumnailview. But my renderer is getting calling after 100 images scaled down and setting into list. I have posted my code 2 days back but there is no reply.

Where is the scaling done? In the ListCellRenderer? Regardless of where that is being done, I assume you are caching the scaled images after you scale them, right? If not, consider adding some sort of caching.
This should do the trick...
Rework your ListCellRenderer to check to see if a scaled version of the image is available. If not, start a thread to do the scaling and create an ImageIcon. In the meantime, while that thread is running, have the renderer return some sort of stock icon, like a little generic image icon. When the scaling thread completes, make a call to repaint() on the JList so the cell renderer gets re-asked for the icons. This time around, the renderer should notice that a scaled version (the ImageIcon) is available. Return that. So, this method doesn't guarantee that the images will be produced in order, 1...2...3..., but it will return images as they become available, and the overall JList rendering won't wait until all 100 are ready. If you want them returned in order, just do all of the scaling in a single thread and queue up the images to be scaled, in order.
