Only able to create ONE QaaWS connection per Xcelsius model

We've just upgrated our solution to BOE XI3 - Premium, and are in the process of evaluating Xcelsius 2008. It seems that it is only possible to create ONE QaaWS connection per model - once the first one has been created, the option to add a new one is greyed out (all other connection-types are still available!). My first question would of course be if there is a one-connection limit per model, but from what I can read in the forum others are talking about multible QaaWS connections in one model.
Any suggestions to how I can add more QaaWS connections?
I in the past created several Xcelsius 4.5 models that contained multible QaaWS connections, but haven't tried to import any of these into Xcelsius 2008

Hi Gustavo,
Ideally, we use one JCo connection for all the models in all the DC's in a big project.
If you see the SAP delivered XSS/ESS/MSS solutions they are also using one JCO (SAP_R3_Human_Resources) for all the dc's in one solution.
Suppose you are not using SSO and you have different models with different JCO, now if you want to change the backend client, you have to change all the JCO connections.
So having one JCO, helps easy maintenance of connections across different applications in a big project/solution.

E72 will only let me create one Access point per d...

Hi,
Not sure if I'm missing some thing, but I am trying to create multiple access points.
For example a wireless LAN connection for work and one for home.
The E72 will allow me to have a access point under INTERNET and sets it as priority 1.
When I try to and another it will set it as unconsecrated and will not allow me to move it to the INTERNET destination.
If I try to create the access point from the INTERNET destination the phone will lock up and I have to power cycle to be able to start over.
I have the latest s/w update installed.
The phone was locked to t-mobile but is now unlocked.
Has anybody else seen this issue ?

SINCE YOUR LATEST UPDATE, I AM NOW ONLY ABLE TO OPEN ONE FIREFOX WINDOW AT A TIME, I ALSO LOST MY YAHOO SEARCH BAR TOOL.

I have had Firefox for a few years and have been very satisfied with all of it's features and qualities. I work a great deal from home and have always enjoyed the convenience of being able to work off of 3 or 4 Firefox screens at one time. By pulling up one screen over the other and then go back and forth (as I still am able to do with Internet Explorer), saves a lot of time and NEEDLESS effort.
Since your latest update the other day, I am now only able to get that 1 screen and no matter how many times I click on the Firefox Icon on my icon screen, no other Firefox screens will come up. I am stuck with that 1 screen...
PLEASE HELP!!!! I have also lost my Yahoo search tool bar due to your upgrade, as well as several others which I cannot seem to retrieve.

Since I upgraded to Firefox 19 from 18.0.2, on my Windows XP (SP3) laptop, I, too, can no longer open a new window. File-->New Window does nothing; also can no longer tear off a tab and open it in a new window (it stays where it is). Also, if I right-click on a tab and select Move to New Window, nothing happens. All of these worked fine in FF 18.0.2. All of these work fine with FF 19 on Windows 7. Only an issue on my XP laptop.
After trying to open a new window, and not seeing the new window come up (and yes, I waited a long time), I decided to close my current window, which had multiple tabs open. Instead of just closing, it pops up the message reminding me that I'm about to close all those tabs. If I say close, and then go into the Task Manager, the Firefox application has disappeared (as expected), but the firefox (and plug-in container) processes are still running. So I have to manually kill the Firefox process to get it to quit. it's as if it thinks there is another Window open (the one I tried to open but never appeared). This happens every single time! I've restarted my laptop, and that does not resolve the problem.
Is there a way to downgrade back to v 18.0.2 until this is fixed?

SharePoint 2013 On-Prem- Can I limit users of only 1 group should be only able to create OneDrive?

I have a requirements of limiting users to use onedrive for business site. What I want to do is below
1) I want to configure in such a way that not all users should be able to create their personal site
2) only members of a particular AD group should be able to create oneDrive?
Is this possible? and how?

You can do this by editing the permissions in the User Profile service application. Access the User Profile service in Central Admin. Click on the Manage User Permissions link in the first set of links on the manage user profile page. By
default the groups listed have all three permissions. Remove the Create Personal Site permission from all the existing groups. Now add the AD group that you want to be able to create personal MySites (OneDrive) and give them all three permissions.
Click OK.
This won't affect any existing users that already created mySites (OneDerive). But only members of the AD group you gave permission to will be able to create OneDrive for business sites from then on.

Hyper-V Only able to run one VM at a time

Hi all,
I have Hyper-V set up with about 3 VM's on Server 2012, but i can only seem to run one VM at a time.
The server has the following:
32GB Ram
1TB HD with 425GB free
When i have one of them started and running, it works just fine.
As soon as i try to run a 2nd VM, i get the following error:
"'PC1' failed to start.
Microsoft Synthetic Mouse (Instance ID 58F75A6D-D949-4320-99E1-A2a2576D581c): Failed to Power on with Error 'The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded."
I have tried to do the following:
Disable all networking on each guest VM
Removed DVD Drive
Increase MAC range
Set static MAC
Changed boot order to put the CD to the bottom
Disable the integration services from each VM
Each VM has different netBIOS name
Each VM has a different VHD and OS
When starting the 2nd VM, it gets to about 10% and then shows the above error message.
Is there anything anyone can suggest?

Can only do one line of text. The carriage return/Enter key does not create a new line when building a paragraph? The cursor goes to the beginning or middle depending on how the justification is set.

There are two things going on here. First, your leading, the distance between the lines, should be set to Auto or adjusted to the size you want. Second, if you click and drag out a text area before you type AE will automatically wrap the text to fill the area just as it does in Photoshop.
I would start by clicking the little icon at the top right corner of the Character palette and then select Reset Character at the bottom of the list.

Web service request ....one db connection per session OR all share one...

in servlet i use

so it only gets the db connection once per session
now that I am working on a web service....im not sure how to do something similiar

You want to use a connection pool. If you just use one connection, your web users are likely to be waiting on the availabilty of the connection. A pool will let you set whatever maximum you want; 1 or 100...
There are a number of database connection pooling options. One of the morepopular is DBCP, part of the Apache project, which is free and open source.

There are other such "drop in" poolers and some database vendors are now supplying connection pooling in their drivers.

Only Able To Add One File At A Time From Mapped SharePoint (2013) Drive to Outlook (2010) E-mail

I am using SharePoint 2013. I have mapped several network drives. When adding files off SharePoint to an Outlook email, I can only add one file at a time. I can add multiple files IF they are not on SharePoint (e.g., stored locally, or on Dropbox); Previously,
when using SharePoint 2010, I was able to upload multiple files.

Hi,
There are two methods to add multiple files from SharePoint library to outlook emails:
Sync SharePoint library to outlook via “Connect to Outlook”, then you will find SharePoint Lists in outlook. Locate the library folder, you could select multiple items and drag them to an email.
Open SharePoint library via “Open with Explorer”, then you could selected multiple files and drag them to an email.

Only able to open one .pdf without having to restart Acrobat

I am running Acrobat X Standard on Windows XP. Suddenly earlier this week, I have begun having a problem in which I can only one .pdf document without having to exit and reopen the program entirely. If you try to open a second, the sidebar with bookmarks is visible, but you can't view the document itself. The screen where .pdf is normally displayed is transparent (showing the gray Acrobat background).
Any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply; however, I've messed something up on my computer. I've been cleaning up my Dell Latitude laptop by disabling programs that aren't necessary in my start-up and deleting old apps that are no longer needed to not only clean up but speed up my laptop and everything is working great now except whatever I did, my computer no longer recognizes that I subscribe the the monthly Acrobat Pro XI online subscription (I pay $21.19 with tax per month). Now, I can't password protect a PDF document so I'm not sure what I need to do to correct my problem. I'm sure it's something simple. Well, at least the computer is running faster and better minus my subscription to Acrobat Pro Thanks for letting me know that it wasn't a Norton 360 or Chrome issue. That helped. tstepup22

Outgoing mail Policy only able to use one of either Content Filter - Outbreak Filter - DLP

No matter what config I use I am able to apply sender domains, anti spam and anti virus however I can only apply a single process of content filter which then will not move to the next process of DLP. Can this be achieved so I can have within the same outgoing mail policy the process of content filter and dlp policies applied.

could you explain what you mean by "single process of content filter" please? I'd suppose adding more than one content filter to a policy, which should be no problem. Also activation of Content Filter, Outbreak Filters and DLP (for outbound mailflow) for any policies.

Only able to confirm one PO line item at a time

In SRM 7.0 (Ext Classic) it seems that you can only select one PO line item at a time to confirm. I am doing this in the portal, highligting the lines, clicking create with reference and then confirmation. Then I get an error that says only select one line.
I don't understand why SAP would not let you confirm more than one PO line item at the same time, you can do it in SRM 3.0.
Please advise.

It will actually bring in both lines eventhough you don't select them both in the portal. However, it does seem that you can't confirm a limit and a standard line at the same time.

Prior to updating the iphone 5 to ios.7, i used to be able to go to Notes and scroll through all listings until I found what I wanted. Now i am only able to view one page at a time and have to back and forth between the main menu and each page. Help?

Prior to updating my iPhone5 to the "new and improved" ios.7, I used to be able to go to my Notes app and scroll through the various categories until I found the item I was looking for. Now, under the "improvements" I have to open each page, one at a time, until I find the desired category. This strikes me as a big step backword. Any solutions in the community?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Also consider deleting and reinstalling the Mail Account in question.

I am not able to create a JMS connection from a custom component in UCM

I am trying to create a custom component which makes a JMS connection and inserts messages in JMS Queue.
THe JMS server is hosted on Weblogic Application Server.
When the code runs I am getting the factory object and the queue object.
But when I try to get a connection it throws an error as pasted below.
WHen I googled the same error It has shown a simliar problem in TOmcat in sun thread
It said two jar files xerces.jar and xml-apis.jar are obsolete.
I replaced with the new version.
still the same problem occurred
