Only one pick slip copy prints despite copy count = 2

I am at a loss on this one and am hoping some of you might have seen this issue.
We have our pick slips printing to a network printer and the copy count is set to 2 in the concurrent management details, but when it prints, only 1 copy prints to the printer. We have tried two different printers and this only started happening since we upgraded our servers from Windows to Linux.
Any ideas?

Hi Luko -
I did change this profile option - although they were already manually setting it to 2. It still only prints 1 copy. I have found that if I change the driver in CUPS it affects the number of copies:
HP LaserJet Series PCL 4/5, 1.3 - prints TWO copies but the sides are cut off
HP LaserJet Series PCL 6 CUPS - prints ONE copy with correct formatting.
Do you know why this might be?

Did you debug and check the umber of values in internal table before calling the TABLE Node....
seeing all SELECT SINGLE along with WHERE = condition and no loop call on them, my assumption is there will be on record only. Check in Debug mood. Search forum to find how to debug a smartform.

Overseas: 2 iphones, only one picking up service

hey quick problem, I have 2 iphones over here on my vacation, a 3g and a regular one. The problem is that the regular one is picking up the cell phone carriers over here(vodaphone) automatically but my 3g recognizes the different networks, but does not allow itself to connect to it even when i click on the carrier in the settings. What is causing this, I'm pretty sure the settings are set tthe same, but i could be wrong. please let me know

It does show each iPhone as separate iPhones.
There is no device limit for the number of iPods and/or iPhones that can be synced with the same iTunes library and same iTunes account on the same computer.
Each iPhone can have different sync preferences with iTunes on the same computer. This is selected under the various tabs for the iPhone sync preferences with each iPhone.
For music, you can create an iTunes playlist or multiple playlists for the music you want transferred to your iPhone only. Under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences, choose selected playlists, genres, and artists. Select the iTunes playlist or playlists in the window below that you want transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.
The same under the Podcasts, Video, Photos, and Applications tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
Your wife does the same with her iPhone.

Am I the only one who has no print apps? I have had many issues with them working fine then nothing

I have updated re instaslled been on the phone with an agent for three hours exhausted everthing in there book, returned the printer gotten a new one still nothing the i began complaining on here and within 2 days it worked...so now that the apps are down again i figured i would ask HP are you updating again and not filling anyone in on it or do i need to make another pointless phone call

Windows 98 is an ok operating system if you like to be out of date. Just upgrade to XP, that should solve your problem.

Printing a copy of Purchase order

         can any one help me in printing a copy of PO with a text saying COPY on it.i am new to SAP ,plz help me achieve this.

Hi Cheris,
Delare a temp variable on purchase order print program and set the variable with the value "x" while printing the PO first time and then using IF...ENDIF you can print the "COPY" text on the additional copies of PO.
Example :
IF var ne x
   print PO without "COPY" text ( Hide window which has the "COPY" text )
ELSE..
   print PO with "COPY" text ( Display the window with "COPY" text )
..ENDIF .

ME9F - Prints only one message

Hi all,
I'm having a problem when printing more than one purchase order message in ME9F.
When I select all messages to be printed, only one is going to printer, and the other ones stay in spool list with status "-" (not yet sent to the host system).
Any idea why this is happenning?

After some conversations with SAP support and basis team, I still don't have an answer for this.
I discover if I use standard SAP settings in the processing routines configuration (Program "SAPFM06P", form routine "ENTRY_NEU" and form "MEDRUCK") this will work. The problem seems to be that I'm using a customized smartform, so in my processing routines configuration I have:
- Program: /SMB40/FM06P
- Form routine: ENTRY_NEU
- PDF/Smartform: ZZZZZZ
- Type: Smartform.
I already debug the program and the field "DIMME" in NAST table is set in every message, so I really don't have any idea why this is happening.
Any help is precious!

Pick Slip Report

We defined "delivery" as our pick slip grouping rule. We have Sales Orders that contain multiple lines going to the same ship to location. However, the pick slip report prints multiple pages with only one line per page.
Oracle Support told us that Rel 11i uses stock locator as one of its grouping criteria. This is in the code. Most customers define stock locators to store inventory of one item and certainly not every item. Therefore, there is a one to one relationship between an item and its stock locator. Given this, how do other OM customers print pick slips that contain more than one item/line per page?
Oracle Support claims that can't be done unless the items all reference the same stock locator. I find this hard to believe.

Orientation is wrong when delivery note, pick ticket are printed together!

I am facing this peculiar problem.
When delivery notes and pick ticket both are printed at the same time from VL02N, then the pick ticket is being printed in portrait instead of landscape.
The delivery note should print as portrait and pick ticket should print as landscape.But these when printed together from VL02N transaction, the second one pick list is printed as Portrait rather than Landscape.
The spool is generating correctly (DELIVERY NOTE as PORTRAIT and PICK LIST as LANDSCAPE) but when passed to printer both are printing in PORTRAIT format.
The printer settings are same in PRODUCTION as well as QA.In Production system it is working fine but the same settings are there in QA behaving differently.
The printer model we are using is HP Laserjet 4350.
Please advice.

Kindly chck on the production and quality system version of the form. The landscape/ potrait option is passed on to the smartform and should be independent of the driver program / Tcode. Kindly chck on it again and revert

HP Photosmart all in one C309a printing multiple copies when its set to print only one copy.

having issues with my C309a its now printing multiple copys when its set to print only one copy.it started doing this 4 days ago and its happening on both my Windows 7 64 bit computer and my Vista 32 computer that both have the latest release drivers already installed need help.HP please sort this issue out.still under warranty do i have to return it?

I am using a Motorola SBG900 Wirless Surfboard Gateway - supplied with Bigpond Cable. It is set to be using WPA security and have never had a problem with it before whilst connecting any wireless devices such as a laptop, PDA etc.
My feeling is that the wireless functionality of this printer needs some serious work before the next release. And furthermore they should never have released it the way it is as it wouldn't pass 5% of user acceptance tests if using wireless. There are too many complaints on this forum and others about similar problems to suggest that I am not by myself here. Dissapointing considering this is the feature that would be at the top of the list of most purchasing this model. It lets down what could of been a vg printer.
I agree, I think if I want to get this printer working on a wirless network, I will have to set the IP address manually. The problem is the printer refuses to connect to the router now even after it connected a few days ago with no intervention. I have powered down both the router, PC, and printer without any luck yet. I will set the IP address manually first on the printer and see how it goes, then if it connects will see if the PC/router can see the printer during the SW install procedure which has failed >10 times to date.
For now I think I will stick with Ethernet as it is no doubt much faster anyway and will try the wirless setup again in a few days when my patience grows back. Does anyone know differences in speed between USB/Wireless/Ethernet? I know this is dependant on a number of things but just interested in ball park figures here.

Problem with printer HPLJ 2430N (Printing only one copy)

When we are printing to a printer (AAAA) from SAP it is printing out only one copy, even after mentioning to print N number of copies. It is happening only with this printer (AAAA) with all the users.
It is working fine with word & other excel documents

Goto SPAD. Select the concerned printer in change mode. Goto its Output Attributes. Under Output request processing you will find several options. There will be a dropdown allowing you to pass number of copies to host spool system. Select that and save. After this check again.

Format Payments (Evergreen): Limiting users to only print 1 copy at a time

Hey all,
We are running across something that some of you must have experienced in submitting your BIP reports like AP checks.
I want to force the number of copies to 1 when printing a particular job. (Format Payments) which the next step would be "XML Reports Publisher".
Our users are NOT to be allowed to accidentally print more than 1 copy of this job at a time. They are using check stock and I have to keep them from "accidentally" printing too many at one time.
First, I tried simply setting the Concurrent Copies profile to "1" for that responsibility. Not acceptable because the user can override it.
Second, I tried personalizing the form FNDRSRUN but I couldn't keep the copies from being "editable" by the user.
I have an SR open with Oracle and they asked me to first, modify the printer driver:
Our driver looks like this:
SRW Driver: PSTPL
Driver Method: Program
Driver Method Parameters: Spool File (Checked)
Program Name: FNDPSTAX
Arguments: -pn$PROFILES$.PRINTER -f$PROFILES$.FILENAME -c1 -Fpasta_pdf_legal.cfg
I would expect only 1 copy to print but when I submit/requests the job for 2 it does in fact print 2. I am stopping/starting the concurrent managers after I change the driver.
Anyone know of a way to restrict the copies to 1 where the user can't change it?

Correct, when I submit the concurrent request with 0, nothing prints, 1, one copy prints, 2, two copies print, etc...
I have tried sending the command from the OS command line and it works up until i try to send in the number of copies by substituting -c with -c2 or -c1. I get an Illegal Option -2" message.
I've tried to personalize the form concurrent request form(FNDRSRUN) but it I can't keep "copies" from being changeable by the user.
Maybe I will have to look into the bursting option.

HP laserjet 8600 All-in-one. My print screen on machine is lit but blank. Unable to access prompts to operate. At times it will display home, right and left arrows and ? when touching those prompts it shifts from right to left but goes blank when touching other prompts
I am unable to print a copy because prompts don't appear on screen other than those mentioned.
I can print only from my computer

I understand your display screen is blank on your printer. I would like for you to confirm which 8600 model you have and I will look into this for you.
In the meantime try a power reset:
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
Tip: Plug the printer in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

Use the Setup (wrench icon) button on the front of the printer to look through the settings menu to set the printer time and date.

I have shut down my mac for half a dozen times in response to the warning -- A Copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time -- that comes up each time I attempt to launch the browser. I have tried out the solutions suggested for previous users (on the Mozilla Forum) who were experiencing similar issues, but I can't even see Firefox on my Mac's Activity Monitor. What's going on?
I started experiencing this problem out of the blue on a networked computer two days ago (on Tuesday December 6). I have been using computers on this network for more than a year and it's only now that I have started experiencing this problem. Furthermore, I have been a Firefox user for more than four years and never encountered this issue. It's frustrating considering I have come to rely on Firefox as my browser of choice.
Other than this background I don't know what else to tell you by way of details.

Thanks for your prompt response. Intriguingly, when I logged on to my Mac (it's on a university network) this morning and launched Firefox it opened without a problem. If the issue resurfaces, I will try out the solutions you posted. Judging from the experiences of users who successfully trouble-shot their issues, apparently, Madakkadam's solution would be most helpful.

I was installing Firefox 4.0.1 and something went wrong. Now every time I try to open Firefox, an error message that says "A copy of firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time." I've looked it up and every forum says something about a terminal.. and lock files.. Could somebody PLEASE break it down and explain it as if you were talking to a 2 year old? I am computer illiterate.

Maybe Firefox messages have been modified slightly. Please read the article

The article explains how to find and stop the extra Firefox process that is causing problems. (You usually use Windows Task Manager to do this - if it is a Windows computer) There is a selection option on the help page with a + by it towards the top right, click that to change the help page details to match the operating system and version of Firefox you use.
If the problem keeps occurring it will be because Firefox has some files mixed up, for instance multiple copies of the files it uses to try to get Firefox to display the details of the last browsing session when you restart Firefox.
