Only Query Builder can be installed in PC?
I'd like to know if only Query Builder from Form or Report Developer can be installed in PC. so I can continue to use stand alone Query Builder 6.0.7.
. and if that's possible , is there any place that I can download that? or it may well be possible to install just that component?

You can't download it separately, it part of the development environment. I think you can install it alone off of the 6i CDs though.

Brand new Mac, OS up to date. Clean, fresh install of CC, everything up to date. You'd expect things to 'just work' right?
I've successfully installed a couple of old Fireworks extensions by just double-clicking them. I try the same with the Monotype Skyfonts extension, with the aim of having it available in Illustrator - no dice.
I get the following…
… the relevant part of which seems to be 'recognizes at least one product which the extension supports'. My Extension manager window lists only Fireworks CS6 as available and no others (I have PS, IA & ID also installed, so would expect to see them, no?)
A bit of a poke around on the forums here suggested using Extendscript to run bridge diagnostics and see if the paths are correct. They seem to be, although the path name and display name don't match it appears to be consistent.
I'm now out of ideas. What next?
Like I said, you'd expect a fresh install to just work, right?

There's a lack of clarity here that could be improved since the version I was using had been installed by the CC installer so I assumed it was current. I now see that there's another version available that isn't installed so presumably the earlier one was installed as part of the Fireworks package? This is far from clear.

In the name of all N97 users, why on earth you keep releasing apps like ovi maps with 7-14M where I can only install them on drive c and not on mass memory (where I have 30G)??? What is the limit on the number of tables that Query Builder can display? I am new to BI Publisher and when I connect to my datasource and select my schema I get the message "The list of tables is too long." There are about 80 tables in the selected schema.
We will have some developers working on our project who are not familiar with this applications schemas and would like to know what the limit is so we can understand how big a problem it will be for us and whether we should use something other than Query Builder to write our queries.

I get the same message.I connected to the Apps database and the connection was successful.
I would retrieve tables from schema which has 60 tables in it.For others even when I enter the first few letters in the serach entry field they cannot be retrived.
I installed the BI Publisher 10.1.3.3.2 for Windows x86 (703 MB) on my local machine and I'm using http://wal1cd231.cis.concentra.corp:9704/xmlpserver/
to login into BI publisher enterprise using the administrator credentials provided when installed.
Any solution??? -

On the Toshiba website I can find all drivers for Vista 64bit on Satellite A350 so it should all working properly with Vista 64. Check it yourself:

But note there are two different BIOS versions available One for 32bit and one for 64bit. After installing Vista 64bit you must update the BIOS too.

How can I configure a Build Specification to install for current user only
Is there any way I can configure an installer build specification to install my application to the current user's folder? This does not seem possible at first glance due to the limited "destinations" available.
Ideally I'd want the application to be placed in "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData", or some equivilent where it'd be protected from being run by other users without administrative access.
Has anyone been able to do this? Thanks!
CLA, CCVID, Certified InstructorThere is a destination called [Personal] that goes to the user's MyDocuments folder. Whether program files should be mixed with a documents folder could be debated.
I see the [Public App Data] choice, but I don't see a [User App Data] option.
Another possibility would be to allow it to go to Public App Data, but after the installation, run a VI that then moves the program folder to the User's Application Data directory. However, that probably means updating shortcuts as well. And I don't know whether that VI would essentially step on itself in trying to do that move.
Maybe another choice would be to allow it to install to the program file directory, but use CACLS to prevent users from accessing that directory except for explicit permissions to the one or more users you want to allow to execute it. An advantage is it would allow one user to install a program for another user to use. The disadvantage is the person doing the installing would almost certainly have to be an administrator.
A disadvantage of the method you desire is that a user has to be the person logged in and install it for themselves (assuming that group policies allow non-admin users to install their own programs). Another disadvantage is if you want to have more than one permitted user, it would need to be installed multiple times, one for each.
Perhaps you could install security at the front end of your applicaiton. Anyone can run it, but the application determines if the currently logged in user is permitted to run it when comparing against some sort of encrypted file that lists valid users. If the user is permitted, the program moves onto normal operation. If not on the list, the program tells them so and never advances onto normal operation.
Perhaps someone else can determine if there is a path tagged within the installer builder that goes to the User App Data that I am missing. -
Query Builder not locating emails based on email address, only the display name will work.
I am trying to set up some search folders for Outlook 2010 for emails either to or from a specific domain name. I am using the Query Builder to set up the logic for the search criteria.
Here's an example of what I am trying to do.
I have three people from a specific company that I want all emails I either send them or they send me to go to. Their email address are as follows:
Jane Doe <[email protected]>
John Doe <[email protected]>
Mary Smith <[email protected]>
Here is the issue I am having. When I set up the criteria for the search folder, entering From --> Contains --> [email protected] (or any of the other addresses mentioned above) will return no results. Entering From ---> Contains
--> companyxyz.com will yield no results. Only entering From ---> Contains --> Jane Doe will yield any results.
If I use the From field in the standard Messages Tab of the Search Folder Criteria window then just entering companyxyz.com will give me all the messages. The problem that I have is that I cannot set up any OR conditionals with this standard field
which is why I am using the Query Builder.
My question is why doesn't the actual email address work for a search criteria in Query Builder and how can I set up a criteria for a domain name (@companyxyz.com) so that I can see all communication with a particular company?Hi,
This is the expected behavior of Outlook.
The Search Folder Criteria dialog has two From fields. One From field is under Messages tab and another From field is under the Advanced (or Query Builder) tab. The From field under Message tab uses email address while
the From field under Advanced or Query Builder tabs uses the display name. So, when we want to use Query Builder to create a Search folder that filters by email address, the Query Builder ignores the email address and uses the display name instead.

Can't install Flex Builder 2 plugin in Eclipse 3.3/Europa

customer service request, but the customer service request form
kept telling my I had to enter my First Name, Last Name, and Email
address, even though I _had_ entered them!]
I can't seem to install the Flex Builder 2 plugin in Eclipse
3.3/Europa. I had it installed fine in 3.2/Callisto. I uninstalled
it from there, installed Europa, then tried to install the plugin.
After I selected the Eclipse folder, I got the error:
"Please choose an existing Eclipse folder (3.1 or greater) to
be updated. This folder must contain eclipse.exe and the standard
folder named "configuration"."
All three conditions (3.1 or greater, eclipse.exe and
configuration) hold in my case, so I don't know what the real
problem is.Actually it's quite simple. But you have to be warned. This
doesn't guarantee a bug free Eclipse setup and it isn't supported
by Adobe in any way. It is how-ever your only shot at getting
Eclipse with Flex Builder 2 AND php-development support, as Zend
has stopped deploying the php-development-requirement for Eclipse
3.2 (or at least I haven't found it in their archives.)
Flex Builder 2 simply checks for some files to see if the
directory you want to install to exist, so it recognizes the
directory as an Eclipse 3.1+ directory. Eclipse 3.3 however misses
the file startup.jar. If you simply copy startup.jar from an
Eclipse 3.2 directory into the 3.3 directory, Flex Builder 2 will
install in the 3.3 directory.
Again. This is not supported in any way by Adobe.

Can I limit which taxonomies display in the Taxonomy Query builder iview?
Ive built a bunch of (query based) taxonomies successfully. I have also placed a taxonomy query builder iview on two portal content pages (one page is called OHS and the other Finance): In the taxonomy query builder iview, is there a way to ONLY show related taxonomies for OHS users on the OHS page (and only show Finance taxonomies on the Finance pages)?
In the Taxonomy Query builder it appears that All taxonomies appear all the time. Ive tried setting the permissions on the individual indexes and also on the taxonomy folders in KM.

I think if you logon to portal as administrator, you are able to see all the taxonomies. But you can restrick end user to see particular taxonomies. Fot that you have to navigate to Content Management -> Classification -> Taxomonies.
Then open that particular index and go to details page of that taxonomy which you want to block for end users.
Then click on setting and open permission page. Delete all the permissions (If any type of permissions already given) then add your end users (you can make a group of particular type of end users and then add that group directly) and give permissions.
I think this will work for you.

Can I turn off Autofit for tables in Query Builder?
Using SQL Developer 3.2.20 and tabbing between the Query Builder and Worksheet always Autofits the height of the tables. Since the tables I'm using are in Enterprise Business Suite they have hundreds of rows making the graphical reprentation almost useless without resizing the table objects.
Is there any way to turn off this "feature"?
I am a new user of Query Developer and am using version 3.2.20.09.
I copied in a sql statement, clicked the query builder tab, visualized my sql statements and resized all the objects so they were viewable. Then when I click on the Worksheet tab and then click on the Query builder tab again all my objects are autofit to the height of the table and it takes about 15 minutes to size them again so I can see all the joins in the gui display - which is the point of the graphical interface.

If there was a workaround that allowed under the View menu to resize all objects to fit the current window, that would be an acceptable choice. Another idea would be to be able to zoom out so the resizing of objects would be easier.
Unfortunately your good suggestion of starting with Query Builder and finishing up requires more skill than I posses when working with many tables. I find it necessary to go back to the visual representation to understand all of my joins when I get many tables and then have a problem with my query. If only I could write it correct the first time. -
Why I can't install Flash Builder 4.6 with a Master Collection Serial Number?

downloaded Flash builder 4.6, i had a Master collection 5.5 suite which includes (obviously) Flash Builder 4.5,1.
I found that I can’t install the 4.6 version with the serial number of the Master Collection.
The Adobe support told me thet I can’t install the single packet but I can upgrade the entire suite of (probably) six months when the 6.0 version will becomes available.
I feel cheated.
I spent a lot of money to buy and upgrade the entire suite and now I can’t upgrade Flash Builder only.
Can you help me?

Now, this is how I activated the FB 4.6, using theMaster Collection CS 5.5 serial number:
1.- Uninstalled Flash Builder 4.5 from the MC (Select the 'Delete preferencies'- checkbox).
2.- Deleted and cleaned all program's cache with CCleaner.
3.- Installed Flash Builder 4.6 in TRIAL MODE, and -IMPORTANT!- Be sure that you are selecting the SAME LANGUAGE on wich you installed your Master Collection!!
(I had some troubles because I didn't remember that I installed the MC with "Español", and I tried to install FB 4.6 in "Español (Latinoamerica)").
4.- After a reboot of my PC, I opened Flash Builder 4.6.
5.- It asked me for a serial number, I had to wrote down my Master Collection's serial number.
6.- I was happy because my FB 4.6 serial number was accepted, (after three unsuccesful attempts because of the wrong language installation).
So, everything is about languages.
In the last case, maybe you should uninstall your entire Master Collection (including Flash Builder 4.5) and then reinstall it (without FB 4.5). Then install FB 4.6.
Yep, this is a little annoying, but now I can use the Flash Builder 4.6. It worth the work.
Let us now if you could install your FB 4.6 succesfuly.
