Open CL no longer working on CC 2014
The option under Preferences -> Performance is greyed out. I tried everything so far: uninstall and reinstall graphics card driver, uninstall and reinstall Photoshop, delete preference files, registry tweak... nothing seems to have worked so far or only has fixed the problem for a few seconds before I resumed work on a file. I know my graphics card supports this function because it was enabled at the beginning, it just disappeared.

That video card is on the edge of being out of date.
Even though nVidia is continuing to release unified drivers that include it, I suspect they're not doing active development on the drivers specifically for the 9800GTX, which was released way back in early 2008. The card doesn't even score 1000 on the Passmark chart.
I don't mean to dis your hardware, but ever newer versions of Photoshop demand ever higher levels of support.
My suggestion to you is to go out and find a much faster video card ideally with 2 GB or more of GDDR5 VRAM. Everything about your computing experience will be improved by this, and they're not terribly expensive.

My iphone 5s Bluetooth no longer works in my 2014 honda accord, ever since i updated the software two months ago. Can anyone help?
Problems with Bluetooth connections are generally traced back to the vehicle. If you search here in the forum you will find a number of posts with issues connecting with Honda vehicles. Try removing the phone from the vehicle's list of Bluetooth devices. Then try removing the vehicle from the iPhone's list of Bluetooth devices. Then place both devices back in discovery/pairing mode and try to connect them. You may need to take the device to the dealer to check for software updates.
Next, I understand it used to connect, however software updates for the iPhone will load the latest Bluetooth stack into the phone and vehicles do not always get updated as often. My code to open iPod no longer works
I downloaded the latest update this morning for my iPod. For whatever reason I was told the iPod needed to go back to factory settings. I allowed this and then was able to restore all my contacts, etc. Turned it off. Now my code to open it doesn't work!!!!! I cannot open my iPod!!!! What do I do now?????

Double clicking on a region to open it no longer works...
After installing OS 10.8.2 I have problems with Logic 9.1.8. If I double click on a region in the Arrange window, it used to open on the lower part of the Arrange window so I could edit notes, velocity settings etc. Now, when double-clicking, the lower part opens for very short time (0,1 second) and then disappears. I have deleted prefs files, restarted the iMac etc., but nothing helps. - What should i do? Is there any other way to open a region in the lower part of the Arrange window?
I just discovered that I have the same problem when double clicking on instruments. They open for a very short while (0,2 sec) and then close. This means that I can't adjust parameters in the pop-up window (instrument, filter etc.). Very strange. I remember I had this problem some weeks ago, but it disappeared. Not now.A few ideas..
Have you checked your mouse/trackpad settings in System Preferences.... in case something got messed up there... as it sounds like an input device issue in some ways
Also, check Logic Preferences/General/Editing and make sure that Double Clicking a Midi region Opens... is set to Piano Roll (Even if it is.. try unchecking it.. close prefs.. and recheck it again..)
Finally, you said you had trashed the pref files.. which one(s) did you trash? Did you also trash the CS one too.. as it could be related to a control surface issue.. I mention this because a client of mine had an issue after installing an iPad Controller for Logic... If you have an iPad/iPhone.. make sure the iPad/iPhone is powered off (Not just asleep) and test after that too... -
Cross-dissolve from white frame to adjustment layer no longer works in CC 2014
Windows 7, Premiere Pro CC 2014
I have a video clip in a nested sequence on V1 and an adjustment layer on V2.
I want to dissolve from a white frame to the clip using the adjustment layer.
In PP CC (not 2014) this was simple:
Starting with a white PNG graphic on V2, cross-dissolve to the adjustment layer.
However, in PP CC 2014, this causes a dissolve to BLACK over the duration of the dissolve and then a CUT to the video.
This behavior in CC 2014 is illogical. Why has it changed?
There are other ways to do this, but this one was quick and easy, and is required for hundreds of clips in existing sequences / projects.

Are you talking about a custom workspace, or actual panels made with Configurator? If the former, then go Preferences > Sync settings. If the latter, then those Flash panels no longer work in CC 2014. Check out any of the multiple threads about Extensions being greyed out.

My new iPod touch 64 Gig has a problem after syncing with iTunes. My purchased apps no longer work. I touch them and they seem to try to open but they do not.
The only way I have found to fix this is as follows:
I delete one of the purchased apps. Then I go to the App Store and re-download and install the same app. After that, all my apps work again.

When I click on the iTunes ikon I get a box pop up which reads Problem with shortcut. The item iTunes.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.

I have also tried to search for iTunes in the search bar, I can see several files, but can't seem to open any of these either. I think that quicktime isn't working, either.
I have over 4000 songs in iTunes that I had recorded from my collectiong of CD's am going to loose all these now? Can anyone help, with very easy instructions as I really don't know what I am doing??
ThanksI would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

I have recently updated the new apps via creative cloud now photoshop and bridge no longer work, they open then say they have encountered a problem and close, I also tried opening the old version of photo shop but getting the same result
What OS version? What's the exact error? Exactly when does the error occur? What previous versions? What is on the screen when the error displays? Does Photoshop get fully open?

I have downloaded the most recent version of Iphoto and it no longer works period. I lost all photos, and the app crashes every time I try to open it. How can this be fixed?

If you have an itunes acct that was not set up to share and the lap top it was on is no longer working, is there a way to open up the old itunes acct to get music and photos off of it? This was before Icloud was available. Can you reset your itunes password somehow?
iTunes and the iTunes Store won't have anything to do with your photos. Those would be stored only on your laptop unless you made a backup of some sort. If you didn't, and the hard drive in your laptop has failed, then your photos are gone unless you wish to pay a disk recovery service a lot of money to try and get them back.
As to your music, if you purchased it from the iTunes Store you can probably re-download it. Go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the Purchases link under the Quick Links. From there you should be able to re-download some or all of your purchased content. Note that not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time. my ipod app no longer works. Everytime I go to open the ipod app it stays open for a second and then shuts down. I am not able to get anything to play either through the standard ipod controls or the multitasking control panel. I'm sure there will be an update soon to correct this, i just wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem.

I cannot open itunes on my windows (older verson of windows) It keeps saying short cut has change or moved and no longer working properly.
