Hi
I get the same error message if I try to build the Filter-Example of the following tutorial: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/5412
Error Message:
Error Output: Open Process Session.vi
I added the system path variable "C:\cygwin\bin" and I also choosed the DOS/text radio button.
But at the installation of Cygwin I didn't found a package called "tclck" although this name is mentioned in the tutorial.
So I installed the tcltk-package and now I get the error message above.
Can anybody help me to solve this problem?

I get this when I try to open a session....Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system. The task manager shows no open Firefox processes.I had two users on this laptop running Firefox and I tried deleting the program on both users. I then downloaded the newest version, installed it and I still get the error message as before. HELP!!!! I loved the browser program when it was working before and would rather use it than other browsers.

Can't open Logic session without crashing PLEASE HELP
Hi how's it going?
Having a crisis with Logic pro 9 on a 15inch macbook pro running osX.6.8
Every time i open a session, it is crashing right away.. Thought it could be a problem with Omnisphere but bounced all the omnisphere tracks in place and is happenning worse than ever. Seems to have been crashing regularly since installing Native Instruments Komplete.. Haven't ever had crashes as bad as this before.
It asks if i want to open an autosaved version (which ends out being an older session which has been saved over already) or manually saved session. The manually saved session seems to be the correct one but upon opening it crashes...
This is the latest error message we got..
Please help!!!!! Anything would be greatly appreciated as it's an important session! Have tried trashing the preferences and everything..

Opening multiple sessions in SQL*Plus - Basic Question
Hi All,
I'm trying to issue an update on a table consists of 100 million rows.(update is done on every row). I have queries that updates this table in chunks of 20 million rows. So, if I open 5 sessions in SQL*Plus and run these 5 queries, does that mean Oracle opens up 5 processes in parallel for me ?
If yes, can I use parallel hint in each of these 5 queries and make the update even faster ? How does the above 2 differ ?
I'll be very glad if I hear from anyone,
Thanks,
Madhu. For every client session there is a server session associated with it. Such as, when you open five session you will have five server session and it serve queires.
Regarding paralle queries, depends whether your table is defined as parallel, how many cpu do you have and also parallel parameters.

Cannot open 2 sessions on same computer
Hello,
It's me again (I already posted some questions about Mavericks).
Now I discovered that I cannot open 2 sessions on my MacBook Pro. Mavericks does not recognize the password of a second user at login.
So I will have to buy another computer for my wife. Very clever from Apple !
EricMavericks recognizes multiple user accounts on the same computer just as did Lion and Mountain Lion. You can switch between user logins without either user logging out. But, the users have to be setup on the computer. My wife and I share a MacBook Pro and it works this way just fine (in fact we just had a reason to use the computer this way last night). Even tasks that don't need the speaker or mic continue processing in the background for the non-active user.

Report for open process orders
Dear SAP experts,
As the period of the process order from open to close is not short, will take 1 or 2 months in our business case, so we want to find a report which can get the information just like the output of KSPP(for planned orders) .
I tried to analysis the logic of program KSPP, and it seems the function modules based on the planned orders only.
Is there any way to get the similar report for open process orders?
Many Thanks,
Lisa YaoIs there any clues?

Error for open process order when BOM alternative is not found
Dear colleagues,
When I open process order. BOM alternative is selected according to the production version. But when BOM alternative is not found system gives only information message and I can open process order, I want to prevent open process order when there is no BOM alternative according to the production version. Because the Bom can be deleted after creation production version.
Thanks for your helping,Hi,
U need to use an enhancement at the creation of order to check the active status of the bom and restricting the order creation when BOM status is inactive.
see whether following enhancement is useful for your scenario:
PPCO0006 Enhancement & EXIT_SAPLCOZF_003
Please confirm.

Uploading of Open Process orders
Hi,
I have a requirement in my project to upload the Open Process orders with the legacy number range. Please let me know how this is possible .
Regards
SudhakarHello,
You can define a new "Process Order Type" with external number range specifically for Go-Live, to have open legacy orders into SAP. This will be used only during Cut-over i.e. initial open orders upload ONLY.
Whereas you can LSMW or Standard BAPI to populate process orders in SAP.
Hope this will help.

Open Process Orders take-over when going-live
Hello PP People
Does anyone have any experience/recommendation about the transition/take-over of open process orders from a legacy system to SAP when going live ?
These process orders are started in the legacy system and should arrive in a partially confirmed (hours/consumptions) status in the SAP system at go-live. How is this generally tackled from a CO point of view ?
Any hints on this could be helpfull
Thanks and best regardsHi,
The method adopted depends on the business requirements. There are quite many options which can be adopted. So first thing i would say is get a clear business requirement what business expects from this migration.
Some of the options could be
1. Close all orders in the legacy system & create new orders in the SAP system & post back the confirmations, post goods movement as per the legacy system.
2. Create a material per order carrying the cost (WIP value) as per the legacy system, assign this component in the component list & post this mateiral to the order, thereby the WIP vlaue will be acrrued to the order.
3. Ask your FI-CO personnel to post the WIP value to the order from FI side.
There could be many more approaches, the choice depends purely on business needs. Hope the above gave you some guideline.

I just got this message and sent it to [email protected] per instructions on another post. the link leads to a page asking for Apple id and credit card information.I got a similar email. It's obviously Spam. The double period afetr the first sentence and the otherwise poor grammar are dead giveaways even before I checked out the link embedded. -- I didn't click on it, just hovered over it to get the url. And the return address was [email protected] Very bogus.

I can't scan to my computer with my HP Photosmart Plus B2010a, I get a "Failed to open a session on the device" message everytime. I'm using the most current driver for OS X Lion 10.7 off the HP website.
I get the same "Failed to open a session on the device" message with Apple Image Capture as I do with the HP Utility software.

Not able to open Logic8 sessions after upgrade from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8
Hello,
I recently upgraded my 2x2.93 GHz Quad-Core system from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8, and now i'm not able to open certain logic 8 sessions. Most of my sessions open fine, but theres a bunch that I'm getting memory errors for, saying things like "not enough memory" or "audio units failed to load" or the session will load with just a blank screen.
Since I'm running in 32 bit, and I know these particular sessions were (in 10.5.8) using around 2.21 gigs of real mem its pretty clear that i'm pushing the limits of my computer. However it would stand to reason that if i could open the session in leopard, I should be able to open the session in snow leopard.
Strangely enough, I have a mobile rig (2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 macbook pro running on 10.6.8) that will open up these "troubling" sessions just fine. The only thing i can think of thats different is the lap top was a clean OS install while the 8 core was an archive install.
Also strangely enough, I'm able to load sessions larger than 2.21 on my 10.6 8 core as long as its not from the "troubled" bunch of sessions. Which leads me to believe it could possibly be a specific instrument or plug-in or combination that is causing these crashes. Not quite sure how to test for that. Also since the sessions load on the laptop, not sure why it would be an issue on my mac pro.
If i go into the "troubling" sessions by not lunching the "core audio" driver, and delete some instruments i'm not using my sessions will open just fine on my mac pro. While this is a temporary work around, its not work for me in the long run.
Also, none my virtual memory servers have changed since my update so I don't think thats the problem.
If anyone has any idea they could through my way I would greatly appreciate it. I'm definitely stumped on this one.Syed,
This could be the issue. Please follow the steps in the following thread to change the status of this product from shared to installed and check then.

How to open multiple sessions for one user?
Sorry for the silly question but I couldn't find it googling or searching through this forum, so I started wondering whether it's possible in SQL Developer to open multiple sessions for one user. I'm fairly new to SQL Developer and databases in general.
When I open SQL Developer and connect to a schema, a worksheet opens named MYSCHEMA. If I disconnect then connect, another worksheet opens, named MYSCHEMA~1. I assumed these were different sessions, but if I enter into one worksheet:
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
-- shows result is 1
update my_table set col1 = 0 where row_id = 1
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
-- shows result is 0and then enter into the second worksheet:
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
-- shows result is 0I would have expected the second worksheet to report 1 because the first worksheet did not issue a COMMIT. Thus, I'd guess both worksheets are the same session? Is that right? If so, how do I have two sessions open simultaneously (opened by same user)?
I'm trying to implement the code at the bottom of this post, for which testing requires at least two sessions:
Re: Help with Procedure
Edited by: tem on Apr 18, 2012 6:44 AMThanks Jim,
Ctrl-Shift-N doesn't do anything for me. I'm on a mac -- by experimenting it looks like command-N does what you're looking for. This appears to be the same as left-clicking on the "New" icon in the top left corner of SQL Developer, or selecting from the pull-down menu, File > New.
This opens "Create a New" window that appears to be a wizard. What would I select at this point? Options are: Database Connection, Table, View, Package, ...
I don't see an option for "Worksheet".
UPDATE:
OK, I found that if I select "SQL File", a worksheet becomes available. Perhaps this is what you intended. However, when I issue the command
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1;it still returns 0 instead of 1. Hmm, maybe my initial assumption was wrong -- if this is a second (e.g. different) session, should I expect the changes made in the first session in SQL Developer (the UPDATE command) WITHOUT a commit, to be observed in this second session? I thought that changes made in one session were not viewable in a different session until these changes are committed in the first session? If so, how to show this in SQL Developer? I must be missing something basic here.
Or, is SQL Developer issuing some sort of "auto-commit" without my knowledge?
