Open Transfer Orders in WM Cycle Count

Hi experts:
My client wants to implant cycle counting in WM, we are using MIBC for CC indicator analysis and LX26 to create inv. doc. The material master is ready with the CC indicators. But my client wants to know what open TO´s are already created for the materials to be counted in LX26.
Is there any procedure to list all TO´s that are open for materials displayed in MIBC analysis?
Working on SAP ECC 6.0
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
1. You should check unprocessed TRs in LB10. (processing those TRs you can get the TOs).
2. Unconfirmed TOs can be checked in LT22.
3. Please also check LU04 for open PCNs.
You should also have a look at interim storage types, negative stock maybe indicates that after IM booking necessary WM booking were not executed (LB10 and LU04 can aslo give information on these).

Csaba

  • Open Transfer Order

There is an open TO in production for a delivery that has already shipped. It's not possible to reverse goods on the order because the invoice has already cleared.
Would like to know how an allocation can take place after post goods issue and resolve the existing open TO.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Csaba,
Picking is not complete how could you post GI
u2022              Picking is completed using ZVL06P. This program creates picks for the people picking the load. When they scan the pallet to be picked, it creates a transfer order. When they've completed all the picks, the office then uses VL06O (For confirmation) to confirm all the TO's. Then they post goods issue. This happened in 2007 so it's not possible to reverse the PGI now. I do not know how they were able to PGI because there's still an open TO for this order. I've never seen this before.
Transfer order in the sales document flow:
u2022     The transfer order I can see from the doc flow on the delivery. But it shows as completed. However if you look at the TO it's still open.
Error message getting if trying to confirm the open transfer order:
u2022     When trying to confirm or cancel (cancel is really what should happen) in LT15 the error is "Goods issue has already been posted for delivery"
    Actual scenario:
This TO was created by the forklift operator picking the load on his RDT. After scanning the cases he realized he didn't want to take those. At that time the TO should have been cancelled but it wasn't. However when the confirmations were completed in the office, they should have received a message when doing PGI that there was still an open TO. But it allowed them to PGI and left the open TO. Now I can't do anything with the inventory because this open TO is tying them up. If I look at the stock (LS24) for the material, I can see there's a negative and positive 40 cases (material quantity). Until I get rid of the TO I can't fix the inventory.

  • Cycle Counting procedures in ECC 6.0

    HI all.,
SUB: Cycle counting in ECC 6.0 with WM implemented
    Ref : Industry : Apparel
What would be the differences in the cycle counting procedure working on Version 4.6C and ECC 6.0.?
In 4.6C , we normally change the indicators of A,B,C or D in OMCO and set the parameters of frequency of cycle counting , say yrly, half yearly, quarterly or monthly.
Would the cycle counting procedure be the same with ECC 6.0?
I understand that from Version 5.0, we can do cycle counting without freezing the book stock i.e have open transfer orders unlike in 4.6C wherein we have to stop GR or GI at the time of cycle count.
Is the procedure same in ECC 6.0 ?
Do educate further on the Cycle count procedure for ECC 6.0 with WM implemented for an AFS related industry.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Try this it worked for me though,
    1. Goto SPRO_ADMIN
    2. Select the Project
    3. Choose Change
    4. Go To Transport Requests TAB
    5. Activate CTS Functionality
    6. Save it after the Pop Up
    7. Go to Se10 and check if the Project Field is getting Populated with the Desired Project or not.

  • Warehouse Management Cycle Counting Method

    Dear All
I am new to WM and would like to carry out Physical Inventory in Warehouse.
However if I use transaction like LI01N I have to create a Physical Inventory Document for the entire Bin.I want to create Physical Inventory Document only for few materials and not for the entire Bin.
In that scenario I have to use Cycle Couting method ie LX26 for certain materials however in that case n physical Inventory Doc is created.
Can anybody let me know regarding?
1.Is there any way that I do not use Cycle Counting method and still create Inv Doc not for Bin but for selected materials.
2.If I have to use cycle couting what steps I am missing,I have already set the cycle counting Indicator in material master but still when I execute LX26 and go to list and create Physical Inv Doc the system is not creating any document.
    Regards

so when you say you already did the below steps, then it means you added the indicator in the material master and the CC entry is also updated in the transation OMNK. So that's why when you execute the LX26, you see some entries.
In LX26, when you select the item and trying to click the Activate Documents, what does the log message says. It should say either open transfer order exists or bin blocked or anything.
Even you can try LICC to create inventory document by quant, if you have multiple quant in that bin.
2.If I have to use cycle couting what steps I am missing,I have already set the cycle counting Indicator in material master but still when I execute LX26 and go to list and create Physical Inv Doc the system is not creating any document.

  • Current month open sales orders

    Hello Experts,
I have requirement to build a custom report to calculate open sales order quantity and its count for current month. I know we can use VBBE for open quantity and VBUP for the status to capture the count, however how can i add the logic to get the required information for the current month. Is there a function module or BAPI available which can be of any help, i have to consider the performance issue too, if i were to use multiple tables. Please advise
    Thanks
    Rahul

    HI Rahul,
There is a standard BAPI available for listing Sales Orders.
    <b>BAPI_SALESORDER_GETLIST</b>
However to meet your requirement of <b>OPEN sales orders</b>, you will have to modify this BAPI to suit your purpose. You can give appropriate logic to you ABAPer with reference to tables VBUK,VBUP, etc. This means that you will have to create a new Z-BAPI, keeping the above BAPI as the core.
Once this is done you can wrap Z-BAPI in a transaction code or a program/ report, so that it is ready to use by business.
Selection Variants can be used to default the date range as 01/MM/XXXXX to 31/MM/XXXX.
Hope this will prove of some help to you..
if yes then ..pls reward liberally

  • Cycle count: 848?

    Hey guys,
I got a macbook pro and the battery conditions started to appear like (Replace soon and then replace now) A couple of weeks later, it showed that it's working fine. Now it's showing (Replace now).. Here's the battery info
    Charge Information:
    Charge remaining (mAh): 1687
    Fully charged: Yes
    Charging: No
    Full charge capacity (mAh): 1687
    Health Information:
    Cycle count: 848
    Condition: Replace Now
Should I just go ahead and replace it? Or should I just wait till it dies completely?

I would put a battery on order. Your cycle count is getting kinda high, so it is just a matter of time (short time) before it is completely dead. It is better to have the spare on hand when that happens.

  • Open Qty is not copied in Delivery for Stock Transfer Order

    Hi,
In the Stock Transfer Order process, Once the STO Order is created, I am creating delivery in the transaction VL10B or VL10G.
When I am clicking the background button Delivery gets generated. Then when i am going in the transaction VL02N and increasing the delivery Quantity which is more than STO order quantity, the system is accepting it. But i want the system to throw an error message if the delivery quantity is more than the order qauntity. For this I have made the following settings.
In the Transaction Code 0VLP, i have selected B in Check Over Delivery field. But still it is not throwing an error.
The reason for the same may be, the system is not copying the Open Delivery Qty from the STO Order (Which normally happens in Sale Order to Delivery process, bcos of Copy Control). This field has 0 value. So the system is not able check for over delivery.
If I get this value in the delivery then it should be working fine and the sytem will throw an error for over delivery.
Can you please suggest me a way to get this open qty value in delivery for STO order or suggest me some other option to check for over delivery in STO.
    Regards
    Vijay

    Dear Friend,
If I can understand you clearly.
to achieve your task the best way you can sit with your abaper and configure a routine and assign the same to T-code OVLK delivery type customizing :
In the Item requirement : Generally it is 202

  • WM-production order-need change the open quantity in Transfer order

    Hi,
I created the production order (order quantity 1000).  i did material staging and generated TR. .
But i need to change the open quantity in transfer order . i need to create the partial Transfer order
        against TR..
       KINDLY SUGGEST ME
       WITH REGARDS
       Dinesh

    Hi Dinesh,
TO for partial qty is possible.
When you are doing material staging with 319 mov.type, you create a transfer order for partial quantity as follows:
You first create a manual transfer order using transaction LT04.
You specify the TR number in the intial screen and navigate to the detail screen, system shows the Open TR quantity and the proposed TO quantity. By default, both these quantities are equal to the TR quantity.
However, when you create by clicing the "Create TO button" (the icon with a plus sign in the tool bar of LT04 screen), system takes you to another screen where it asks for the "Requested Qty" on the top of the screen.  Here you can modify the qty as per your requirement; then you can check and confirm the storage type and storage bin for source and destination stocks & save.
It is important that you give the correct source storage type & storage bin that is having stock or otherwise system might give error message.
System will create a TO line item with the entered qty and propose the balance TR qty as the 2nd TO line item. You can skip this 2nd TO item or delete it from the TO.
Once again, if you click the Save button, system will save the TO with the partial quantity.
The balance quantity will be available in the TR as open quantity and this can be seen in the header data of transaction LB03.

  • Transaction to see the Open stock transfer order for the plant

    HI ,
i need to develop one report in that client to make the report for the all open stock transfer order & the cost of the open stock transfer order for the plant .
I need how to cretae the stock transfer order for the material , whci material master is required for this process.
please give me step by step details for this .
    regards
    satish
Edited by: satish kapartiwar on Jul 16, 2009 9:33 AM

    Hi Satish,
You can see open stock transfer quantity in MB5T and stock value in MB5L. If you want to make stock transfer, there is two types intra company transfer(with in same company code) and inter company transfer (different company codes).
Steps for Intra company stock transfer:
This is only within the comp.code(w/o SD)
(w/o SD) 351101 MvT. and (with SD) 641101
    1. Mat.(1434)should be maintained in both the plants.(@1000&1100).
    2. Should have enough stock in supplying plant(1000).
    3. Make its supplying plant as a vendor in vendor master record in receiving plant(1100).
    4. Make it receiving plant as a customer in customization.
Create customer (xd01) & and define the shipping data for plants in both the plants.
Path: spro u2013 img u2013 material mgmt u2013 purchasing u2013 po u2013 set up STO u2013 define shipping data
    (1 by1 )
    In Receiving plant (1100)
    Customer num. 123345 (for ex.)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    In Supplying plant (1000)
    Customer num. -
    (don't fill)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    5. Assign doc. Type is "NL" for intra company STO. If STO is inter company, Assign doc. Type is "NLCC".
    Position doc type is "UB"
    Enter supplying plant(1000) & doc type (NL)&checking rule (ex:01)
6.Assign doc. Type is "UB" to u'r plants.(PO)
    Go for new entries
Enter supplying plant(1000) & Receiving plant (1100)&doc type (UB).
    7. Create a PO, choose the doc type is 'UB' & item cat.'U', Enter supplying plant as a vendor in PO of the receiving plant(1100).
    8. Provide this num (PO) to SD people, they will do the delivery by using transactional code is VL10B.
    9. Sales people they will provide "out bound delivery num".
    10. Do the GR. In GR the second tab 05 outbound delivery instead of PO mov.type 101.
    11. See the stock overview in the receiving & supplying plants.
    Steps for Inter company Transfer:
    1) Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area.( Make sure, In Customer Master, sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)
    2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
    3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------>For your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4)then For your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5)Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
    6) In SPRo-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group, Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination, Assign shipping point
these are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receiving Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping Outbound delivery as a ref. document.
Now your STO bet. two plants belongs to diff. Co.Codes will be completed.

  • MIE1 :: Sale order cycle count issue

    Dear All,
II am using transaction MIE1 to create inventory documents for sales order stock. I am receiving many more items to count than expected.  I checked the cycle count indicator and materials coded to be counted only once a year and last counted in February and March in table MSKA, but still when i executer IME1 system is picking it for cycle count.
We are on SAP 4.67. Our fiscal year ended at the end of September.
Anyone know why these materials would show as due to count now?
    Thanks,
    Chaithru

    Hi Terry,
To be honest there is not normally any standard manipulation of the bin sequence in Physical Inventory, but here are a few places to look here (Grab a coffee first)
Logistics > Warehouse Management > Strategies > Define Sort Sequence for Putaway >
Logistics > Warehouse Management > Strategies > Define Sort Sequence for Removal >
These two items determine the sort order priorty of your bin numbers, eg. if your bin numbers are 10 digits long, you could sort the bins in order using key co-ordinates with differing priority. So the second character of your bin could be sorted prior to the first character. (The logic here will be based upon the individual warehouse layout/rules)
    Next have a look in
Logistics > Warehouse Management > Activities > Transfers > Processing Performance > Profiles (Have a look at Sort profile)
Logistics > Warehouse Management > Activities > Transfers > Processing Performance > Control for Performance Data Processing / Define TO Split
In these two you can manipulate the sort order of the bin numbers in TO and other documents, can look complex but is simple when you have understood the logic
    Good luck
    Steve

  • How to count List of open sales orders?

    HI Gurus,
Client requ: List of no of open sales orders?
I used T.code: VA05, given date range as desired and selected radio button as OPEN SALES ORDERS. I got huge list of sales orders with line item wise. say for example in a sales order 100 line items, in the report i got line item wise. But client wants no of open sales orders ony, not by line item wise. So I converted into XLS and did it.
Is there any way to find out no of open sales orders thru Table. (Like sales orders created - go to SE 16 (VBAK) , you get no of sales orders created)
Please suggest me way out to find the same.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Regards,
    Vamsi.

    Hi,
I can recommend you another solution (is what I'm doing usually ...) - I'm extracting the data in Excel and here I can do anything anything I want with the data (in your case I will run a pivot table on the resulting table with the sales orders no)
In this case (transaction VA05) option to extract data using XXL Viewer from ALV grid was deactivated; I really don't know what was the reason ...
You can still use the second option - to use Excel In-place. For this, after running your report go to Settings -> Layouts -> Current ... (in the menu).
    Go to "View" page.
    Here select "Excel" option.
A list of available excel templates should be displayed (if they are made available by your basis).
Select one of them and press OK.
If everything is OK you should see your report open directly in your GUI as Excel.
I hope this will help you,
    Valentin

  • Cycle count of Serialized parts at WM level

We have serilized parts in WM locations and question is how to do the cycle count these?
    Thanks for the

    Hello,
Based on my understanding . You are receiving goods with "E" stock ( special stock indicator). This E indicator comes with sales order number and line item will be stored( ex: E '151'000020) in the IM and WM stock. (you can see this in LS26/MMBE once you receive). So you canot issue this item for another line item of the same order. Coming to the questions you raised
    1. "whether we could maintain stock at WM level without account assignment?".
What ever comes from IM will be the same in WM. So you can not change the stock indicator value only in WM while issuing goods to a specific on hand orders with "E" indicator. I hope you should do a process change either in SD/IM area than in WM. Because  you said that "product (Fabric) has quite a lot of characteristics such as Width, Shrinkage, Shade only after the inspection process do they know which SU satisfies".
and So when you are creating a sale order of that kind you should have either not having the specific purchase( E stock ) or should have a BATCH with characteristics. OR you should transfer the stock to quality for quality inspection and then make available for issue. Either way you need to see this issue beyond WM level because this is a process of (SD/IM/FI) cross function.
    2. "is there any way i could do a continous count for material & SU without taking into account the SO/LI.?".
    I hope NOT.
I could not understand yardage problem while counting.i don't know if any physical material handling problem in warehouse will intern effect of your continuous counting.
I Hope looking more options in Batch/quality/sales order areas will certainly help you..... thanks

  • T410 Cycle count

    Hi All,
I bought new laptop (Lenovo T410 ThinkPad)  2 months ago and I work with the Battery I look at Cycle count and it's write me 37 Cycle count. does it so high? What does it mean? What should I in order to decrease it or to slow it?
    Thanks

the Thinkpad power manager will automatically stop charging the battery once it hits 100%, so you won't need to disconnect the ac power.
To setup the custom charging behaviour, you should do the following.
    1. double click on the green battery icon, which will open up the Thinkvantage Power Manager.
    2. Then click on the battery tab.
    3. Click on the battery maintenance button.
    4. Set your custom charging value battery maintenance pop up menu.
    5. Click ok, and exit.
P.S. This will stay like this unless you pull out the battery and reinsert it, which will reset the battery charging behaviour back to the old value.
