OpenDocument support?

Does pages support OpenDocument at all?

that's really a pity. I was really looking forward to this feature. I have a dozen of ODF and ODP files. That's really a lack of such a great office suite. OpenDocument will get more and more important and Sun is working hard to bring OpenOffice on Apple platform.
So why, Apple, don't you support this? This would help you be more indepentent from Microsoft.
Well, this was a long awaiting feature for me, now I'm disappointed...

  • Data rate supported by 6533

    Hello,
    Can someone tell me what is the data rate supported by PCI 6533. i mean transfer the data from peripheral to the hard disk of the PC.

    Hi,
    Here are a couple Knowledge Bases that address this performance specification. I just posted the knowledge bases today so they might take a day or so before they are live. Hope that helps. Have a good day.

  • OpenDocuments.ViewDocument Method fails if document is an InfoPath Filler form (xsn)

    Hi,
    I have a custom webpart with links to different documents.
    When the link is clicked I run the following JavaScript to open the document in the users client application:
    function ViewDoc(docpath) {
    NewDocumentButton = new ActiveXObject("SharePoint.OpenDocuments.3");
    if (!NewDocumentButton.ViewDocument(docpath)) {
    alert('Opening document failed.\n' + docpath);
    This is working for Word files and Excel files but not if the document is an xsn file.
    Any ideas why it don't work with InfoPath forms and have a solution?
    Environment is SharePoint Server Standard.

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you had an issue about opening the xsn file.
    To open the InfoPath form, we should use the SharePoint.OpenXMLDocuments
    method.
    You can refer to the following code snippets, it worked well in my environment.
    function openDoc(){
    var NewDocumentButton = new ActiveXObject("SharePoint.OpenXMLDocuments");
    var docpath="http://sp/LIbA/Form.xsn";
    if (!NewDocumentButton.EditDocument2(window , docpath , "InfoPath.Document")) {
    alert('Opening document failed.\n' + docpath);
    Thanks,

  • I have some B/W video cameras(analog) are they supported by Labview

    i have some B/W video cameras that I wanted to use with LabView but they are not in the list of supported cameras under LabView, but they are still very new and they work great and they are small and light weight which are two important things that I need. Can I still use these? Or should I look into buying some new ones? The website for these cameras is www.x10.com, model number SC21A, thanks.

    Hi magnusrules,
    The National Instruments Framegrabbers can adquire video formats like RS-170 or CCIR, it depends on the model of the framegrabber. Here is information about the analog video signals:
    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/0c19487aa97d229c8625685e00803830
    I saw the datasheet, but I did not find the type of signal. It says RCA, so maybe this can be of some help:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/A247A92A91FDEFAE86256BA50051F28B?OpenDocument
    http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/es/nid/11356
    Since the camera has a RCA connector, and it's BW, it could be RS-170, but we need to confirm it with the manufacturer.

  • Sharepoint opendocument class add-on removed within the app-v package

    Hi all,
    On my environment the computers have the office installed locally (Office professional plus), I'm sequencing a package with Office Pro Plus + Visio + Project. The objetive of this is to let the users use visio and project for a certain amount of
    time.
    When I remove the package from the client the IE opendocument class add-on is removed, then they aren't able to edit office documents in sharepoint. The solution to this issue was to repair office. But this won't work on our production environment.
    Do any of you have faced a problem like this or do you now any way to prevent that the add on will be removed ?
    My environment is:
    App-V 5 SP1 (Server and client)
    The package contains: Office 2010 Professional Plu, Visio Standard, Project Standard, the office deployment kit.
    The packages are administered with the app-v management console.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards

    Office installed locally and delivered as an App-V package isn't supported, I'd suggest that if Office Pro Plus is installed, then also install Visio and Project.
    Note that Office applications licensed through Volume License, are device-based licensing. I would be very careful about providing Office suites/applications to users for a certain amount of time, as that does not adhere to the license agreement. Be careful
    in case your company is audited.
    If you need to provide users with access to Visio and/or Project, then you need to license the users's physical device.

  • Passing Parameters via OpenDocument URL to OLAP Analysis .amw

    Hello together,
    did anyone ever manage to successfully create an OpenDocument URL which passes parameters to an existing analysis workspace .amw?
    We already linked to other .crp and BEx reports, but maybe .amw needs some special syntax..
    I appreciate every hint
    Thanks
    CR Enterprise 4.0 SP2 in usage

    Hi,
    I can confirm: The situation for A-OLAP is the same as it was for Voyager.
    Analysis, like voyager, supports outbound opendoc params (ie pass context to WebI/CR) but not inbound params. The only exception is that you can specify which Voyager workspace to open.
    Voyager/analysis supports SAP connection parameters on opendoc, but this is a manual selection in prompts. You cannot programmatically set connection variables.
    Today we also support "Jumplinks"... a feature in both Voyager and A-OLAP that allows contextual information to be passed to a pre-defined Crystal Report.
    For BI4.1 (end 2012) SAP plans to make A-OLAP more open. This includes supporting SAP's Report-Report-Interface (RRI) and extending the OpenDocument parameters beyond just the workspace name that is supported today.

  • Opendocument URL with range parameter

    Hi, we are running BO XI R2 with SP5 and have been recommended to switch from the older viewrpt URL functionality to the opendocument URL functionality due to issues with releasing of BOE sessions.
    We have now written some code and are testing out the opendocument URL functionality, but are finding one issue with a range parameter that we cannot get past. Our URL is really quite simple and is built like this:
    /businessobjects/enterprise115/InfoView/scripts/opendocument.aspx?sType=rpt&iDocID=23264&sViewer=actx&sRefresh=Y&lsSIndustryCode=&lsRPeriodRange=[12..12]&lsSBU=&token={url encoded token}
    No matter how we configure the syntax for the range parameter PeriodRange we are always prompted to enter values for this parameter. The idea is of course that it should take the values we pass (periods 12-12). We have tried all possibilities with URL encoding the parameter value and the various settings for prompting on the parameter in the CMC. Nothing makes any difference. It will always bring up the parameter screen for this one parameter.
    According to the opendocument documentation this is the correct syntax so why does it not accept the parameter?
    Regards,
    Stig Johansen

    Thanks for the quick answer. However we could not get this to work.
    If we use the 'prompex'-syntax for the parameters it always prompts for these
    /businessobjects/enterprise115/InfoView/scripts/opendocument.aspx?sType=rpt&iDocID=23264&sViewer=actx&promptex-BU=*
    /businessobjects/enterprise115/InfoView/scripts/opendocument.aspx?sType=rpt&iDocID=23264&sViewer=actx&promptex-BU="*"
    and if we use all the same parameters as for viewrpt we just get an error 'Object is required'.
    /businessobjects/enterprise115/InfoView/scripts/opendocument.aspx?id=23264&apsauthtype=secWinAD&init=actx:connect&promptOnRefresh=1&promptex-BU="*"
    Even if we had gotten it to work this way it would not really resolve the situation. Basing European wide reporting on an unsupported solution would not be a way that we would like to move forward. After all much the reason we were recommended to move to opendocument was that the support for this method should be more comprehensive than for the viewrpt functionality.
    Best regards,
    Stig

  • Can PCI-6023E support hardware Analog trigger

    I try to use the PCI-6023E to do the hardware analog triggering, but it gives me the Error-10403 while I test with the vi example, Aiacquires N Scans Analog Hardware Trig.vi. Is there any way for this board to do the hardware triggering?

    Jack,
    The PCI-6023E DAQ board only supports digital triggering. You can check all the features of this board in the Data Sheet and Specifications on the Catalog page (see link below)
    2002 Catalog - PCI-6023E
    http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?cid=1063〈=US
    If you need to perform analog triggering, you have three options:
    1) You can simulate it by acquiring continuosly all the signals that you want to monitor including the one that acts as the analog trigger. Compare the value read from this last one with the boundary that is supposed to trigger the acquisition, and when the value read reaches this boundary, you can save or display the data from all your channels.
    2) You could implement an external circuit that will compare the analog trigger signa
    l with the boundary value, and when they coincide, will generate a digital pulse that you can use as a digital trigger. This option optimizes your CPU usage.
    You can find detail information on how to set up the digital trigger in Chapter 4>>Timing Connections of the User Manual linked below.
    6023E/6024E/6025E User Manual
    http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/0C88F40FFE7F28CD862569AE00574AC1?OpenDocument&node=132100_US
    3) Finally, you could get one of our boards that supports analog triggering. The PCI-MIO-16E-4 board has similar specifications that the PCI-6023E, and it has some additional features as well. See link below for more information.

  • Problem whit openDocument URL command

    Hi all
    I have a problem when I try access for a url to report, I use this url http://(server):(port)/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?iDocID=(doc number)&apsuser=(user name)&apspassword=(password)&apsauthtype=secEntrerprise and not work the user is bad charge and the password is empty.
    Any idea?
    Thanks & saludos
    Diego Trettel

    Hi Diego,
    OpenDocument doesn't recognize any enterprise logon credentials passed in the URL. It recognizes only the logon token. The parameters you are using for logon is for viewrpt.cwr. For OpenDocument, you need to generate logontoken(you need to use sdk), then use the parameter "token" to pass it in URL.
    There are two SAP notes about how to do that dependent on which platform you are using. You can seach by numbers in SAP support portal.
    1206939 - How to create a logon token for the openDocument method and URL reporting using the Java SDK
    1198684 - How do you create a logon token for the OpenDocument method and URL reporting in BOE XI using the COM SDK (ASP)?

  • Skipping full server name in openDocument

    Hi guys
    The following syntax u201C<a href=../../opendoc/openDocument.jsp?u201D  in linking reports was OK for WebI XI R2. But in XI 3.1 I get WIO 00002 error.
    Can anybody explain what has changed?
    Regards, Alex

    Hi Alexander,
    BusinessObjects does not support relative path linking from Java Panel because in this case Java Applet comes in to Picture.
    In order for the linking to resolve in Java Panel, have to use absolute path syntax.
    This is not a bug, this behaviour is by Design.
    I hope this Helps....
    Thanks...

  • Passing values using OpenDocument

    I am using the following URL to open a document.  The document opens and refreshes but the values in the URL are not passed.  The report opens and displays the prompt.

    Well, there was an old issue with the sType blanking out parameters.
    So I'm out - perhaps open a SAP Support Message?
