Opera y pngs

Hola a todos. A ver si alguien me puede hechar una mano. He
diseñado una
galería con imágenes .png que hacen de fondos y de
títulos. En local he
comprobado que funciona bien con explorer 7, firefox 2,
netscape 9 y
Opera 9. Pero cuando lo coloco en el servidor no funciona con
opera por
que no se ven. Los he pasado a Gif y se ven sólo
algunos, los he pasado
a jpg y se siguen sin ver los mismos. He comprobado la

  • Using image data read out from a file

    Hi,
    Having used the GetBitmapFromFileEx(), GetBitmapInfoEx() to acquire the necessary image data (most of them is the .png format), then using the FileToArray() to put the image data in my own binary file, e.g., "mypicture.dat". My idea is that whenever need to use the image, I can read out it from mypicture.dat and then display it on a pcture control.  But when loading the image data to the memory, I have no idea to map the image data buffer to an image resource, which can let to acquire a bitmap ID.  Because from the  cvi's image processing function lists, it seems that must through such as  the GetBitmapFromFileEx(), GetBitmapFromFile() to acquire the image data buffer and the bitmap ID, then using SetCtrlBitmap() to diplay it. Is there any way to resolve the problem? Thanks.

    Well, to read and write raw data file informations from a PNG image you must adhere to this standard. As a source of informations you may take a look to this Wikipedia page and to the links in this page from the PNG Home site.
    So the problem is: does your application worth the effort to study this documentation?
    Edit: FYI part of this job has been already made in CVI by Guillaume Dargaud for his ReadSavePNG instrument driver. It's been a long time since I have used this instrument, as I/O operations on PNG files have been integrated into CVI since release 8 and support for JPEG files in release 7 or so. Nevertheless I saw functions in that instrument for accessing raw data in a PNG file so you may find them useful for your needs.
    Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • E17 Engage module- No icons appearing

    Running on a fresh install of arch, using E17.
    Basically when Using the Engage module or even ibar any applications I put in it dont visually show up as icons. The bar expands, they are in there and can be clicked to load an application but visually they are invisible.
    The taskbar in engange however does still work fine.
    Very odd. Anyone know the problem?
    Edit: Just actually talked to my brother as well who also just in the last couple days did a fresh arch install with e17. Same problem.

    I've found that I need to provide the full path to the icon in my .desktop files.  For instance in /usr/share/applications/opera-browser.desktop I've changed the "Icon=" line to this:
    Icon=/usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/opera-browser.png
    I suspect this is not the official method, but I found it by accident and it works so I'm sticking with it.

  • Using slider to display time

    Hello!
    I am trying to use a vertical slider bar to represent my 72-hour dataset. I have also added two additional sliders, to represent a time intervall inside the dataset. My problem is that when i try to connect the cluster with timestamps to the slider it says "Cluster->output_timestamp, a 1D of timestamp, conflicts with cluster slide, a double [64-bit real]".
    I understand that there is a type conflict between expected input to the slider and actual input, my question is how to solve this problem? Do I have to convert all the data, or is there some options for the slider that I have not got right?
    I have attached a image to show what I want my slider to do.

  • The operation cannot complete because of an unkown error while exporting to png

    Adobe Illustrator CS5
    Windows 7 64bit
    I am getting the following error while trying to export a png
    "The operation cannot complete because of an unkown error. [13]"
    I tried disabling all startup items, rebooting, copying and pasting to a new document to no avail.
    Please help

    Here is what I tried and it worked
    Save the file as pdf with the "Preserve Illustrator Editing capabilities" checked.  Rename the file from .pdf to .ai
    New file can now export without any problems.

    When i omit the line OutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(saveFile);
    and write only
    ImageIO.write((RenderedImage) bufferedImage, outExtension,saveFile);
    //out.flush();
    then saving the image even in "png" also fails.
    The following is the error code:

  • Jabber for Windows - Method of Operation

    All,
    With Jabber for Windows Phone When We use for calls, we have enabled phone icon (image Calls_Enable.png) but File-> Options without video option (file File_Options_3.png).
    When we use Computer for calls, we have File-> Options Video option enabled (File_Options_2.png file) but calls for disabled icon (file Calls_Disable.png).
    See all attached files That I Mentioned.
    My question is about the method of operation. If by design Jabber will only allow video When in softphone mode, how do I perform a video call then? Could anyone help me understand how the Jabber for Windows operate? Is there a user guide that helps?
    Thanks,

  • Memory full.Not enough memory for operation.

    To the Report Design Team,
    It has been suggested that I post this issue here based on another thread I started: Re: Memory full.Not enough memory for operation.
    The template contains a single 24 bit PNG image as a background in the Page Header section, plus 9 image records from a SQL Server image field over 3 pages (3 images per page).  The images are all JPG at 3000x2000 (digital camera).
    To summarize, we are experiencing three problems.
    1. CR2008SP2 Designer issues a Memory Full error when Exporting to PDF.
    2. Using a 3rd party PDF Printer (Bullzip PDF) and CR2008SP2 Designer generates a PDF, however, the CR2008SP2 API throws a "Memory full" exception suggesting Designer and API are different (see stack trace in linked message above).
    3. With only 3 images on 1 page, CR2008 Designer Export to PDF takes 110 seconds to generate a 24MB PDF while our third party PDF Printer generates the same report in 17 seconds and 580KB.
    Edited by: Don Williams on Sep 30, 2009 6:43 AM

    The .rpt file size is 14MB with the Data Save option enabled, 12MB without Data Save.  Presumably the 12MB file size is because of the 24bit PNG we have as our background.
    The Designer executes the report in less than a second and we can scroll through all pages and see the image fields perfectly.
    When we Export to PDF, the Designer takes a long time, eventually gets to the 77%, the 7th record and returns "Export report failed" followed by "Memory full".  If we export only page 1 of the 3 pages, it also returns a Memory full error.  However, when the same report is run with only 1 page, that page exports to PDF but with a ridiculously large size and export time.
    The machine has 2GB of physical memory with an 8GB pagefile with Windows 2003 (latest everything).  The process runs up to about 1GB before reporting the memory full error.
    We've also tried a variety of other suggestions posted in the other thread with no success.
    We're happy to provide the RPT file to the Report Team to diagnose the problem.  Ultimately, we need to be able to produce a 15 page report with approximately 45 images.
    Our preferred scenario is fixing problem 2.  The CR Designer seems quite capable of rendering our report and printing it to our third party PDF printer in a timely manner with small size.  However, the API reports memory full.
    The API resides in a dedicated reporting web service with NO other code except for loading the report, setting parameters and printing.  When executing, it uses up to about 1.1GB before reporting the error.
    Are there any other suggestions for fixing what we have?  Are there known problems with large images in reports?  Do we need to lodge a formal support request?
    Regards,  Grant.

  • The operation can't be completed because you don't have the necessary permission.

    My wife and I share files on our home network all the time. the problem is when I create files on my Mac Pro or Macbook Pro (.doc, .tif, .jpg, .psd, .png, etc) and place them on her Mac Mini. she can not edit them. She gets the message: "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have the necessary permission."
    The only way I know how to fix the problem is to delete the file from her Mac, change the permissions on my Mac (via Get Info), and then re-copy the file back to her computer. The problem is there are hundreds of files, in different folders on her Mac, so using a batch command with Get Info (Cmd, Option I) is not an option.
    First of all why are all the files I create "Read only" for "staff" and "everyone" in first place?
    Is the problem with my computer or with hers?
    Is there a way for her to overide the permissions so I dont have to spend days or weeks going through every file I have created on my Mac?
    Here is a screeen shot of one file:
    Here is a Screen shot of the Folder on her MacMini that I drop files into:

    She needs to connect to the file server with your name and password. Then she'll have the same access you have. I assume that's what you want.

  • Layout issue in Opera browser

    I'm currently working on my first iweb site and I'm nearly ready to upload it to the host server but I'm experiencing an issue with the layout in Opera.
    Safari, Firefox & Chrome all display the layout of the site correctly when viewing from my local drive but Opera is missing both the navbar and the top of the site is squashed.
    A picture is easier to describe this so please have a look below:

    This is probably because the field is not wide enough. Check the horizontal elasticity property of this field (and possibly the frames around it).

  • Problem in using PNG files....

    Hi everybody...
    Whenever i use ImageIo.read(filename) function to read a PNG file....it returns a bufferedImage with Type = 0....
    and i cannot use this type of image to perform convolution operations....
    how can i solve this??....
    Another problem is that whenever i save it using the write method....the size of the new file is way too large than original image.
    ( ex - 250 kb(source image) - 1.5Mb(saved image))
    how can i solve this??
    plzz someone help me...
    itz urgent!!

    I'm making educated guesses here but I suspect you may be loading a palettised (ie <16M color) file and convolution probably requires true color - you can convert by creating a new image and rendering into it.
    As for writing out, you can adjust the write settings by tailoring the relevant ImageWriteParams... there should be plenty of info around if you Google.

  • How to manage multiple operation within the same partner link ?

    Hi,
    I have a partner link with 2 possible operations : "sayYes" and "sayNo".
    I want to do the following : if the operation is "sayYes", I return "YES", if it's "sayNo", I return "NO".
    (not really complex... in theory)
    In my WSDL file, I have the following :
         <message name="TestPickRequestYesMessage">
              <part name="payload" element="client:TestPickProcessYesRequest"/>
         </message>
    <message name="TestPickRequestNoMessage">
              <part name="payload" element="client:TestPickProcessNoRequest"/>
         </message>
         <message name="TestPickResponseMessage">
              <part name="payload" element="client:TestPickProcessResponse"/>
         </message>
         <portType name="TestPick">
              <operation name="sayYes">
                   <input message="client:TestPickRequestYesMessage" />
                   <output message="client:TestPickResponseMessage"/>
              </operation>
    <operation name="sayNo">
                   <input message="client:TestPickRequestNoMessage" />
                   <output message="client:TestPickResponseMessage"/>
              </operation>
         </portType>
    The returned value is in a string variable : "return_value".
    I've created a "pick" activity :
    <pick name="Pick_1" createInstance="yes">
    <onMessage portType="client:TestPick" operation="sayYes"
    variable="inputVariableYes" partnerLink="TestPick">
    <sequence name="Sequence_1">
    <assign name="setReturnYES">
    <copy>
    <from expression='"YES"'/>
    <to variable="return_value"/>
    </copy>
    <copy>
    <from variable="return_value"/>
    <to variable="outputVariable" part="payload"
    query="/client:TestPickProcessResponse/client:result"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    <reply name="replyOutputYES" partnerLink="TestPick"
    portType="client:TestPick" operation="sayYes"
    variable="outputVariable"/>
    </sequence>
    </onMessage>
    <onMessage portType="client:TestPick" operation="sayNo"
    variable="inputVariableNo" partnerLink="TestPick">
    <sequence name="Sequence_2">
    <assign name="setReturnNO">
    <copy>
    <from expression='"NO"'/>
    <to variable="return_value"/>
    </copy>
    <copy>
    <from variable="return_value"/>
    <to variable="outputVariable" part="payload"
    query="/client:TestPickProcessResponse/client:result"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    <reply name="replyOutputNO" partnerLink="TestPick"
    portType="client:TestPick" operation="sayNo"
    variable="outputVariable"/>
    </sequence>
    </onMessage>
    </pick>

    When I deploy and test this application, I have a huge problem : if a choose a "*sayNo*" message, my application do the following :
    The "pick" activity logs :
    <inputVariableYes>
    - <part name="payload" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    - <ns1:TestPickProcessNoRequest xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/TestPick">

    </part>
    </inputVariableYes>
    I have a right "*TestPickProcessNoRequest *" message type.
    BUT, the next activity is "setReturnYES", instead of "setReturnNO".

    [http://www.monsterup.com/image.php?url=upload/1237201958.png]
    Can anyone tell me where I'm wrong ?
    It looks like the "pick" activity always go with the first sequence...

    Hi PhunkyBob,
    I also had a hard time, finding out that the problem was with the BPEL console and not with my processes -.-
    Perhaps it's the Browser, I too use Firefox. Did not try it in IE yet.
    Here is the solution, try to switch to XML View and then change the Operation! (you will notice that it changes properly) Then you can either send it that way or return to HTML View.
    I have always to it that way,.. gets really annoying when I have to test a process many times :-/ ...change to xml, change operation, back to html, making entries, send...
    If someone has a solution, other than changing the Brwoser, please post :-)
    greetings,
    Michael

  • How to make a virtual view for all the incoming messages from several accounts, just like in Opera Mail?

    I want to have a replication of Opera mail feature. This feature enables you to aggregate all mail items from across all the e-mail accounts into a single virtual aggregated view.
    That is, say, we have 3 different mail accounts. In Mozilla Thunderbird on a daily basis I check if there is something new in the incoming folder for those accs. To do that I click on the corresponding folder for every account. Now, what i want is to click on a single folder where I would have an aggregated virtual view of the incoming folder for all of those 3 accounts. I guess, same thing can be done with different kinds of mails, such as:
    * Unread messages (after having viewed the mail item, it automatically goes straight into "Sent messages" aggregate view, listed below)
    * Read messages
    * Sent messages
    * Spam messages
    * Drafts, etc
    Also there is this cool feature (virtual thing applies here as well) that helps to have a view of all the attachments across all accounts categorized into different descriptions, such as:
    * docs (xls, doc, ppt, etc)
    * images (jpg, png, etc)
    * archives (zip, rar, etc)
    More then that, it would still be better to have labling aggregation view feature across all acounts. That is, if we have marked important several messages in, say, 2 accounts, those should be seen in a single aggregated virtual view under name, say, "Important messages". Same can be said with flags, todos, etc.

    Pop mail accounts can be set up to use a Global Inbox. Imap mail accounts cannot.
    However, there are various 'views' in Thunderbird. I would suggest you try 'Unified'. This creates a visual Inbox containing all Inbox messages with sub folders showing individual Inboxes, so you can still see them separately if required.
    via Menu Bar;
    View > Folders > Unified
    Via Menu icon
    Menu Icon > Folders > Unified.
    This view would show all the 'Important' tagged emails, so you could them sort by Tag.
