Operation RE510 ... dates

Hi All,
Im trying to use operation RE510 in a pcr to pull-in an amount per pay scale group, pay scale level and wage type. We have a specific combination of psg, psl, and wage type that has a new amount effective June 1st. This happens to be mid payperiod, so we need both old and new rates for evaluation. When I use RE510 it only brings in the newest rate.
Is it possible for this operation to consider any date logic (from table T510)?
Thanks,
Brandyn

The hours (and payscale group/level) are coming in thru time (CATS) so I have been trying to use RE510T, RE510U, and RE510V. The records in my screenshot above are from T510 (not IT0008).
Am I able to read all validity dates of T510 if they fall within same pay period using that operation .. or any other operation?
I did try using T510Q just in case, same result.
Thanks,
Brandyn

    Hi,
    Can someone please explain me on the uase of field 'StartPoint' on work order operation's Dates tab.
    Regards.

    Start point will be used in case of scheduling for the operation.
    By mentioning the condition & date, while doing automatic scheduling, system will change the start date of the operation & correspondingly finish date.
    Note: This will work only when Automatic scheduling is ticked for the control key.

    Hi,
    I am loading master data (full) and for some packages I get the message "No database operations necessary, data unchanged" the processing remains with status yellow (no "processing end" message comes for those packages). In the end, I get a red status because it times out.
    Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any idea appreciated
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    In case of master data, the update option for infoobject is overwrite. So if u are trying to load the same data again and again or if no changes are there in the new request at that time u may get this type of error. i am not sure about it. Check once more.
    Hope this helps u a lot.........

    hi,
    when setting document numbering series it is recommended that you should have an exclusive access in the database. to achieve this you need to lock all users except your username. in the way no other user can log on in the system. also you need to use a superuser account.

  • Differences between operational systems data modeling and data warehouse da

    Hello Everyone,
    Can anybody help me understand the differences between operational systems data modeling and data warehouse data modeling>
    Thanks

    Hello A S!
    What you mean is the difference between modelling after normal form like in operational systems (OLTP) e. g. 3NF and modelling a InfoCube in a data warehouse (OLAP)?
    While in a OLTP you want to have data tables free of redundance and ready for transactions meaning writing and reading few records often, in an OLAP-system you need to read a lot of data for every query you do on a database. Often in an OLAP-system you aggregate these amounts of data.
    Therefore you use another principle for these database scheme. This is called star schema. This means that you have one central table (called fact table) which holds the key figures and have keys to another tables with characteristics. These other tables are called dimension tables. They hold combinations of the characteristics. Normally you design it that your dimensions are small, so the access  on the data is more efficent.
    the star scheme in SAP BI is a little more complex than explained here but it follows the same concept.
    Best regards,
    Peter

  • Another user or another operation modified data,to continue open windows

    Saludos Estimados:
                                    tengo la siguiente situación, tengo un cliente que gestiona sus cuentas a nivel articulo, estamos actualizando sus cuentas ya que algunas apuntaron mal, pero cuando lo hacemos por DTW manda el siguiente error
    another user or another operation modified data,to continue, open windows again (OBDC-2039) Application-defined or object-defined error65171

    esta es la nota de SAP  que nos sugirio y se soluciono.
    When you update the warehouse info via DTW, you need to set the LineNum value in ItemWarehouseInfo that corresonds to the warehouse in Item Master Data.
    That means the LineNum value match warehouse list number minus 1.
    In your case it seems you just used 0,1,2,3,4 but it does not necessarily match the order of the warehouses.
    So for example if you have 4 warehouses in the database
    1 Test
    2 Ware
    3 House
    4 DTW
    then when you update properties of the warehouse the LineNum is 0 for warehouse Test, 1 for warehouse Ware and so on (please refer to note 1328706).

  • Rescheduling of order based on operation confirmation dates

    Hi All,
    Our production process to complete a product has got long lead times.
    In production order, for example, there are four operations OP10, OP20, OP30 and OP40.
    During production order creation, system will perform lead time scheduling based on standard value time mentioned in the routing for every operation. Due to long lead times and production delay, there will be delay in actual execution of these operations with scheduled dates. After confirming OP10 with actual execution dates in CO11n, if we go to production order and click on scheduling button, then system reschedules remaining operations dates in the production order based on actual execution times entered for OP10.
    Our requirement is by using Enhancements/BADI/IDOCs is it possible to automatically reschedule the order after confirmation of OP10 in order to reflect nearest actual production execution dates.
    Please suggest your valuable findings.
    Thanks & regards,
    Satya.

  • Greater than operator for date in obiee analysis

    Hi all,
    I just need your help. is it possible to use the greater than or less than operator (in filter) for date in creating analysis?
    FOr example: I need to have the greater than months from "January 2015" for specific measure.
    Thanks!

    Somehow the person records for this person have become corrupted. Have you any idea how that might have happened? Options:
    1) Someone or some program has issued a direct table update on per_all_people_f
    2) Someone has used Help > Diagnostics > Examine to modify the data
    3) An Oracle bug. This one is unlikely but could happen if using an unusual form (Shared Person Form, for example) and perform a weird combination of actions/keystrokes. But you'd need to be able to reproduce it if you want Oracle to fix it.
    If you're support contract is invalid or you don't have a support contract your options are limited. You can either:
    a) Bring your patch level up-to-date and then raise an SR. If Oracle agree to provide a script to fix it they'll probably just do direct table updates to resolve this record.
    b) Fix this yourself using direct table updates. This obviously isn't supported either. If you do this, make sure you know what you're doing and get it 100% right first time. BE VERY CAREFUL!
    Obviously I strongly recommend option b.

  • How to perform merge operation using Data services designer?

    I am new here and new to Data Services Desinger as well.
    And currently, I want to do a merge operation using query transform or table comparison transform. But sadly, neither one of them is giving me what I want.
    So, wonder if you could help clarify if either one of them could achieve MERGE operation between and source and target tables?
    if positive, then how?
    PS:
    by MERGE, i mean, if data exists in target table, then only do update, else, do insert. same with the standard MERGE operation of oracle.
    If you need any more info, let me know!
    Thanks in advance.

    You can do this.
    You don't need the Tabe_Comparison transform actually.
    Just query the data you need and output the flow from your query to your target table.
    Then, you'll have to check the "Auto correct load" option: this will insert new lines and updates old ones. One checked, you can ckeck the "Auto correct load" checkbox.
    By default, BODS will know a line already exists based uppon the primary key columns of your target table. If you want to change the columns used to determine if a line should be inserted or updated, use the "Use input key" checkbox (and define some PK column in your query).
    Hope this helps
    Guillaume

  • [Resolved] operations on dates into Xquery, how to do that ?

    hi,
    Now that I found how to perform Xqueries :) I want to know how to make operations and calculs on dates. My query look like that:
    SELECT XMLQuery('
    for $i in ora:view("CATALOGUE")
    where $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_DEBUT <= current-date()
    and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_FIN >= current-date()
    and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET < (current-date() + P5D)
    and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET > current-date()
    and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 8
    and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 9
    return <liste><CAT>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/Prom/CODE_ART}</CAT>
    <PROG>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/Prom/CODE_ART}</PROG></liste>'
    RETURNING CONTENT) AS cato FROM DUAL;
    unfortunatly (current-date() + P5D) doesn't work nor things like :
    current-date() + dayTimeDuration("P5D")
    or even like :
    add-daytimeduration-date(current-date() + dayTimeDuration("P5D"))
    I just want to add some days to the current-date but I don't know how.
    If anybody could help I'll be very pleased.
    :) thanks

    You need to use xdt namespace prefix for dayTimeDuration
    xdt:dayTimeDuration("P5D")
    Also be aware, the latest xquery spec has moved dayTimeDuration() into xs namespace
    prefix, so in the future, you need to use
    xs:dayTimeDuration("P5D") instead.
    Try
    SELECT XMLQuery('
    for $i in ora:view("CATALOGUE")
    where $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_DEBUT <= current-date()
    and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/DATE_FIN >= current-date()
    and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET < (current-date() + xdt:dayTimeDuration("P5D"))
    and $i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/DATE_EFFET > current-date()
    and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 8
    and $i/ROW/ID_CAT != 9
    return <liste><CAT>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/CATALOGUE/Prom/CODE_ART}</CAT>
    <PROG>{$i/ROW/CONT_CAT/PROGRAMME/Prom/CODE_ART}</PROG></liste>'

    Sami,
    What issue?  Those results are perfectly acceptable under certain business scenarios.
    Your sched start/finish implies that your routing has no duration being calculated during the schedule process.  If this is your issue, look at the various forumulas attached to the scheduling tab of your work center(s)(CR03).

  • Operation with dates

    I need to subtract to a date seconds and that me the result in format dates (ddmmyyhh24miss). This operation in sql.
    Thanks

    You can subtract any unit of time (including seconds) from a date. Just remember that a day = the number 1, so that yesterday is found by the query SELECT SYSDATE-1 FROM DUAL;
    There are 1440 minutes in a day, so if you want now + 10 minutes you would SELECT SYSDATE + 10/1440 FROM DUAL;
    Formatting requires the TO_CHAR function such as SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE - 1/24, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS) FROM DUAL;
    If you have 9i then look at SYSTIMESTAMP. As you know SYSDATE can give you times to the second. The new
    SYSTIMESTAMP can give you fractional seconds upto 6 decimal places. Oracle 9i also has a new INTERVAL format so you can add/subtract
    an interval of time from a date.

  • CRUD operations on Data Mart

    Our data sources are as follows:
    - An mdb file (downloaded every hour)
    - Multiple xls files (downloaded every week)
    Our aim is to develop a BI solution using BISM, Data Mart, OLAP cubes etc.
    From my understanding, we do not necessarily require an OLTP DB and we can import our data directly into our data mart using SSIS.
    - However, with a data mart, will we be able to perform CRUD operations on all our data just like an OLTP DB?
    Thanks.
