Rescheduling of order based on operation confirmation dates

Hi All,
Our production process to complete a product has got long lead times.
In production order, for example, there are four operations OP10, OP20, OP30 and OP40.
During production order creation, system will perform lead time scheduling based on standard value time mentioned in the routing for every operation. Due to long lead times and production delay, there will be delay in actual execution of these operations with scheduled dates. After confirming OP10 with actual execution dates in CO11n, if we go to production order and click on scheduling button, then system reschedules remaining operations dates in the production order based on actual execution times entered for OP10.
Our requirement is by using Enhancements/BADI/IDOCs is it possible to automatically reschedule the order after confirmation of OP10 in order to reflect nearest actual production execution dates.
Please suggest your valuable findings.
Thanks & regards,
Satya.

  • Conversion of Sales Orders with Original ATP Confirmation Dates/ Quantities

    Hi
Please suggest best practice to maintain ATP confirmation dates/ quantities during sales order conversion. We have committed schedule lines in a legacy SAP system. Now we want to maintain the exact same dates/ quantities when loading these dates into the new SAP system.
We will not have supply (inventory/ orders) loaded at the time sales orders are loaded.
    Thanks
    Rishi Menon

    Hi
I will suggest to turn-offthe Transfer of Requirement & Availability Check from the Schedule Line (VOV6). And then make your BDC to upload the Sales Order of Legacy System in SAP.
While creating the BDC recdord the consider the Schedule line date and quantity.

  • Production order release based on operation

    Hi friends
How to release production order based on operations ?
    pl help me

    Hi
The real time scenario is to select release operation wise is:
If you are expecting any change in the subsequent operations after starting of production  say first opration, you will opt for this .
I do not find any advantage if you release all operations at a time in mass processing. It is as goods as releasing at header level.
Normally in such cases one can opt for  trigger points in which system will release successive oprations automatically when preceding operation is confirmed.
If you want manually release the operations you can select the operation which you want release & press release button in operation overview screen.
    Hope it is clear now.

  • BAPI to create SNP planned order based on start date

    Hi,
I am looking for a BAPI to create SNP planned order based on the order start date. There is BAPI BAPI_MOSRVAPS_CREATESNPORDER which can be used to create SNP planned order based on the end date but not based on the start date.
Also would be great if some one can share how do they create SNP Planned orders using BAPI BAPI_MOSRVAPS_CREATESNPORDER in case if GR processing time is defined in the product master and workdays for GR to be respected according to the calendar.
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hello Mr.Venkat,
    Hope you recognize me.
Please check out the BAdi below.
BAdi - APO_BAPI_BUS10503 (this is the BAdi for ManufactOrderAPS  BAPI which contains the SNPorder BAPI)
    Method - CHANGE_SAVEMULTIPLE2
In this method parameter IT_ORDER_HEAD contains Order start date input option.
For GR time please check this (not sure if it will help).
    Same BAdi/ same method
    Parameter IV_PLANNING_MODE_USAGE contains field PLANNING_MODE.
Value 1 for PLANNING_MODE corresponds to "Observance of parameters from the product master".
This may make it respect the GR time in product master
    Good luck with the above

    Hi Experts,
We have created Material 100 (FERT) in Plant 1000 (in both Storage location - 0001 & 0002) as well as maintained in production time: 14days in MRP2 tab.
When I attempt the material 100 in standard sales order Iu2019m receiving schedule confirmation date: next day (01.12.2011) for Plant 1000 and storage location 0002 combination (using Field user exit for automatic storage location determination).
However when I change the storage location from 0002 to 0001 in the sales order item level manually u2026Iu2019m getting schedule Material Confirmation Date: 15.12.2011 Pop up...
Expertsu2026 please guide me where I did the mistake for 0001 Storage location and right me.
    Thanking you !!!

    dear friend,
in this case you would open 2 sessions in MM03:
this material on Plant Data / stor.1
and same material for same tab for the second Sloc
    and compare data
say, for example, the difference might be in Container reqs field or someone else...
compare Plantdata/stor. 2 for your SLocs as well

  • ATP check with RLT - rescheduling keeps pushing confirmed date out???

In order entry, our availability check is looking only at inventory and RLT... so that if stock is unavailable, the line item gets confirmed for a future date based on the material's RLT. We have noticed, however, that every night when backorder rescheduling runs, the confirmed date is pushed out one day later (assuming that no inventory exists still). So it appears that BO rescheduling is recalulating the confirmed date based on the current date + RLT.
Does this make sense? Is there any way we can make the original confirmed date stick? We don't want to use the Fixed Date & Qty flag on the schedule line screen, because we want to be able to pull the confirmation (and delivery) in earlier if the inventory is available earlier... we just don't want it to keep getting pushed later.

This boils down to a business question.
Say you have a material with a 30 day RLT.
On Day 1, an order is placed - and due to no stock or planned receipt of stock with the 30 days - the delivery date is moved out 30 days based on the RLT.
Now it's day 29, you run the backorder report and there is still insufficient stock / replensihment plan within the next 30 days.
==> Do you want to keep the promised delivery date of day 30 - or is day 59 more realistic?
More to the point, why hasn't stock been acquired or a replenishment plan / order been created in the previos 29 days?
The RLT shouldbe set so that there is a very high likelyhood that the order can be fulfullled ini that time line.
To me, it makes sense to keep pushing out the date. When stock actually shows up in sufficient quantity, the date will be moved back up.

  • Generating Inbound delivery based on Vendor Confirmation for Purchase order

Is there a way to create Inbound deliveries based on Vendor confirmation for a purchase order.
    Here is the complete scenario.
Buyer Creates the PO for qty 100 and Date August 29
Vendor Confirms that he can supply a qty of 50 for August 29 and remaining 50 for Sep15th
Based on vendor confirmation, Buyer creates 2 vendor confirmations (AB) to match with the data received from Buyer, without modifing the PO.
    Requirement:
Inbound deliveries should get created based on the vendor confirmation.
As MRP looks at Inbound delivery for Planning purposes once they are available, Inbound delivery should match with vendor confirmation data.
Is it possible to get this requirement met with standard config available in SAP.

could you eventually get the answer from the docu Set Up Confirmation Control

  • Availability Check : Confirmed Date in Sales Order.

    Hello Gurus,
I have an issue with the availability check.
    Scenario :
Customer has created an order for quantity 800 on 26th of Feb and accordingly when created the order go confirmed for 17th of March.
The specific quanity(batch) of 800 was released from Quality to unrestricted on 27th of Feb.
And Now that the stock is in unrestrictd the customer wants to deliver this material before 29th of Feb as against the 17th of March confirmed date.
When we try to re run the availability check, since there are other open orders and deliveries against the material system proposes a new confirmed date alltogether which is still further ahead of 17th.
Can some body advice me as to how do i ensure that the particular quantity can be sold before 29th.
I have also tried running Backorder processing and Rescheduling which failed, It might also be because i might have not run them properly as i am new to the concept of backorder processing and rescheduling.
Please guide me to correct this step wise.
    Thanks.

    please try as below:
Back order processing is a functionality in SAP where you can change the committments and over-ride the blockage of stocks marked against sales documents/deliveries. For e.g. you receive an order from a very important customer for material "A" but the entire quantity of A is committed to another customer "B" via earlier sales orders and this is where BACK ORDER processing helps you to change the committment and shift stock due for B to A. This is the benefit of this funtionality.
OMIH - Checking rule for updating backorders
OPJL - Define new checking rule
OPJJ - Define scope of check
    V_RA - Backorder Processing
    Data selection:-
    Sold-to-party Customer code Mandatory
    Sales Organization Mandatory
    Distribution Channel Mandatory
    Division Mandatory
    Changed confirmed quantity :-
Tick the material you want to changed and click the Back order button Confirmed quantity that still can be changed are highlighted.

  • Consumption of sales orders based on Sales order Doc Date

    Hi Guys
I am using 40 Strategy currently. The consumption of sales orders now happens based on requirement delivery date. But my customer want to serve his customers based on first come first serve as the production is always getting delayed. Now irrespective of req. del date, the stock should be consumed based on the sales order document creation date to fulfill first come first serve concept.
I am not finding suitable requirement class in SAP. Please help
    Regards
    KP

    Hi Krishna,
The scenario is quite not clear...Could you please brief it out further.
Because, in strategy 40, if a sales order comes in then sytem checks for any avaliable stock is there or not. If not then it looks for any open proposals available for PIR's, if so then it consumes the PIR based on consumption mode and period defined in material master or MRP group. If no open proposals, then system creates the new one.
So always the first come sales order will be consuming the stock or PIR, until the next MRP run.
Today a sales order has been coming in for 100 qty on 07.09.2014 delivery date and consumes the available stock of 100.
Tomorrow, another sales order has een coming in for same qty but delivery on 05.09.2014, then in next MRP run system will consume the 100 qty for 05.09.2014 and a proposal will be generated for
    07.09.2014
If the business scenario is something like above, then to avoid this, a PGI job can be scheduled always as next step to MRP run so, that PGI will be done for all the sales order which has stock and rest will be in error log. By this way one production plant can ensure that always the first incoming sales order is delivered.
Also an another option would be is to run the transaction V_V2 to reschedule the sales order before delivery, this will work out if the sales order line items are not account assigned. In this reschedule transaction, priorities can be given for item date of creation as 1 and followed by delivery priority and rest....
Please check out and let us know even if you have diffrent solution as well.

  • Regarding Order based confirmation

    Hello friends,
Let me ask one simple question, which answer i know but confused.
In Order based confirmation for process order , what is yield? Is it the OK qty or the total produced qty (ok qty plus scrap qty).According to me its the ok qty.Now if its the ok qty than while doing the confirmation by CORK (Order based confirmation) where to give the scrap qty and rework qty?In operation based confirmation ( Enter time tickect) there is separate field for yield, scrap and rework but in order based confirmation (CORK) there is a field for yield but not for scrap and rework.
Scrap qty we can manage by considering it byproduct and in goods movement we can put (mention) the scrap qty but what abt rework qty?Where to mention the rework qty while doing the order based confirmation?
    Thanking you guys in advance.

  • Sales Order confirmed date in work days

Is there a way to change configuration so a Saler Order will confirm based on the Factory Calendar??
I created a new Order Type (VOV8) but see no option to change from calendar days to work days.
Bascially, I need the sales order confirmation date to be based on work days and not calendar days.
    Is this possible???

    Hi,
Sales Order is created for particular Sales Area i.e. SO + DC + Div. And Sales Org. is the highest org unit in SD.
At Sales Organizational level you maintain Sales Org calendar and not factory calendar.
Factory Calendar is basically used at plant level which comes under MM module.
So, by SAP std practice i dont think it will be possible..............
Or you can do one thing that is,........maintain the same sales org calendar as factory calendar..........so i think it will help you....
But can you elaborate you point so that we can understand properly.............
    regards,
