ORA-33292 while attaching.
Hi,
I am maintaining the cubes from pl/sql procedures.
Now my requirement is if 1st person has fired one cube and after some time 2nd person fires one more cube lying in the same AW then second has to wait till the first one is completed. this we have implemented.
My problem is that first time it is not showing me any error but while executing second time and it is throwing error ORA-33292(while attaching).
This error says that either the AW is not released or insufficient previleges. I have checked both and we are doing proper detach operation and previleges are also granted for the AW$ object to the calling schema.
do somebody has idea about it??.

What version are you using? I would expect that whoever is getting the 33292 error would always get it. You need SELECT access to the table named SCHEMA.AW$AWNAME to read an AW named AWNAME and SELECT and UPDATE to the table to write to it.
If this is not the case, please file a TAR.

we use Developer 10.1.2.0.2 on Windows XP Professional SP 2.
We have a Linux-based ( 2.6.5-7.287.3) OAS (10.1.2.0.2).
We received ORA-6508 while starting a report from within a menu. In fact all reports led to the same mistake. I must admit that they all worked fine before. We found a workaround for this problem by recompiling the attached PL-SQL library. The question is: what caused the loss of information ? What reasons can be imagined for such a behaviour ?

what we have is:
We have a .mmx in production for quite a while. Within the .mmx you can start several reports by selecting an entry of the menu. It all works without problems. Then suddenly by choosing one of the reports you face ORA-6508 (something that has never happend before even though we made no changes to the system - at least I have no knowledge of any ;)
The .pll which I recompiled is attached to the menu (.mmb). Recompiling the .pll fixes the issue.

jacob is not an oracle tool, which normally is only useful for COM-commands against windows.

Error encountered while attaching a document in an appraisal
Hi Experts,
Good day. I have enabled or allowed an attachment to be included in an appraisal but I am getting this error while attaching a document "Read error during PC upload (header of the pop-up box), Include file in PC application Try Again? Yes / No / Cancel (message contents)". Any inputs as to why I got this error? I also checked table T77S0 for GENER/OBJSV and it shows with the value of 1 meaning it is activated, right? One more thing, do you also have an idea as to why I am getting this warning message for the description of the appraisal template: "You have maintained a description that is not displayed." It allows me save but I just want to know why this happens and what do I need to do for it not to appear because the client may get back to me and ask the same thing. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Please help.

Erorr while attaching License to a user
Dear All
I get an error while attaching 'LICENSE' to the user.
"XML PARSING FAILED (MESSAGE -60070-33).
I had already attached license to 3 users and it's working fine. But all of a sudden when i am trying to assign license to new users it's giving me this error.
I am using 8.8 ver patch 10
Can anybody help me on this, since this is very urgent

I am getting ORA-00604 while creating view from the front end. And some time I get Maximum cursor open, It is ok amy be I am opening cursors in while loop. I searched our Bug database and this has already been logged. It is scheduled to be fixed in JDeveloper 3.2.
It should be noted that this is only a design time limitation, not a run time limitation.
Thus, in theory, you could modify your source files manually and accomplish the desired domain attachment. However, I do not know the details of how to do this.

Error while attaching A.W. in A.W.M. 10g
Hello, my database is 10g 10.1.0.4.2 an I'm using Analytic Workspace Manager 10.1.0.4.
I've created an analytic workspace, and I've worked with it (creating some dimensions and cubes, working ok) for several days. But, suddenly, when I connect and I try to attach the A.W., I can't access it and an error message like this appears:

There are several threads for this error however I cannot find any specific solution to the problem.

SuvigyaThere are two ways to look at what error the PLSQLBLOB API is throwing.
1) Call your PLSQLBLOB API GNE_PO_CREATE_FILE_ATTACHMENT.Gne_Create_File_Attachment directly from a PLSQL block and verify that it returns the BLOB data successfully.
You could also call another WF API that in turn executes the PLSQLBLOB API internally. For example,

2) Turn on log for SYSADMIN user with following attributes.
Log Enabled = TRUE
Log Level = ERROR
Log Module = wf.plsql%
Restart the Workflow Deferred Agent Listener and Workflow Notification Deferred Agent Listener and run your workflow process. Search for log messages written for above context and you can identify the error at wf.plsql.WF_XML.GetAttachment module with message starting as "Error when getting BLOB attachment ->"
