Please find the below setup done on local node PSFT_EP
Deafult portal: EMPLOYEE

Portal URI Text : http://10.287.xx.xxx:8080/psp/
Any help on this highly appreciated.
Thanks
Soundappan

Hi,
I had a similar issue with urls from SES.
I added the Content URI & Portal URI to the Portal node (HRMS) and the default local node (PSFT_HR).
This solved my issue.

    I have restarted the servers and machines as well but still the same error.
    Kindly help me ?

    I agree with Hakan, sounds like your problem is getting to the proxy.
    Is the SES server on the same network as PS?  Or is it really somewhere else? Is this some kind of home setup since you are running PS on Win 7?  If SES is on the same network as PS, I would drop the proxy config and test that way first.  Get it working without the extra complexity, then add in Proxy.  You can test connectivity from PS to SES with telnet or just browsing to SES.
    Thanks for the response RCC.
    The PS is a Demo Instance being used for study purpose. Both the machines are on the same network.
    I tried the ping after removing the entries in integrationGateway.properties files for proxy server and it worked.
    Ping, Test Login and Validate are successful.
    I get the following error when I check Proxy Login.
    Proxy login failed : Invalid credentials for the federation entity (262,1317) (262,1318)
    I have created Federation Trusted Entity key by the name HCM92 on Oracle SES side and am using the same ID and password in the Query Service Credentials on the Search Instance Properties Page.
    I was not getting any error in any log file related to this.
    Kindly help.

  • Database search using Oracle SES

    Hi all..specially Luca,
    I am a new to oracle SES.I have to search my database through oracle SES from my ASP.NET
    pages.
    But before doing it from ASP.NET page , I just want to try serching from the SES tool itself.
    I tried to create Database source type as :
    Home > source > source type = database > create
    then i got a page where i wrote the database connection string , userid , password , and a query (select * from images)
    i clicked next n got another page which says step2 authorization ..
    here again i need to put databse connection string ..for which i m confuse what to put ..
    the entire connection string like "Data Source=atlas/orcl;User ID=yuntaa;Password=yuntaa" or "atlas/orcl" ..
    i put user ID and Password,there wer few more fields like
    Authorization Query,Single Record Query, Authorization User ID Format .i m not sure what to put in this fields,
    and clicked next...i got an error saying ...
    Oracle Secure Enterprise Search Error
    An error occurred while validating the plug-in parameters.
    now i m really confuse how to create database source and how it will search to my search string...how it will know which
    table to search...i mean search string may be audio,video,image or a doc ..according to the string it has execute different
    query to search in different table...
    Plz help me out a little to solve this issue...
    Warm regards and thanks
    Suraj

    Thanks a lot for the reply Raford...n sorry as my question are too long...
    In my project i need to search my database but i do not
    have any URL as i am displaying data straight from the database. The data's
    are audio,video or images which i have stored in database tables itself.
    so in my case the URL column will be empty which is a mandatory field.The URL column contains the Display URL for the document but I do not have any document outside my database.
    The way I am storing the data, is oracle SES posible ?. Most importantly do this will enhance
    the performance..or provide some extra information to the user regarding search...
    Actually what we are thinking is that when user will search and if the data is present in database we will display the data from the database using oracle SES
    or else if the data is not there in the database we will provide some links
    of other web site, something like google..
    Please give some thought on it and tell me whether this is possible using oracle SES...if yes then what should i put in URL column...if posible plz give me some suggestion how should i proceed
    You said If the data is in an Oracle database, it is easier to use the Table crawler. I tried
    to configure that with my table but showing an error in error log :
    EQG-30100: Internal error: java.sql.SQLException: Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 2,
    from: CrawlingThread.processPseudoURL() executing SQL BEGIN ?
    := 'http:/tds?id=24'||eq_util.tds_encode(1,?) ||eq_util.tds_encode(2,?)
    ||eq_util.tds_encode(3,?) ||eq_util.tds_encode(4,?) ||eq_util.tds_encode(5,?)
    ||eq_util.tds_encode(6,?) ||eq_util.tds_encode(7,?) ||eq_util.tds_encode(8,?);
    EXCEPTION when others then eq_err.raise; END;; for URL http:/tds?id=-1&k1=24&display_url=0
    EQG-30100: Internal error:
    no new documents collected
    also the crawl statistics is 0..
    also search result is empty..i m searching with the string which is in contenttitle
    column in table which i ve set through "table column mappings"...
    the steps i ve taken to set the table crawler is :
    selected source type as Table > provided source name , port number etc details > local table
    selected primary key column > select content column > create and customise > table column mappings
    Add another row(selected the contenttitle field) > apply > schedule > execute immediatlyWarm regards and Thanks

  • Oracle SES 11g

    Hi,
    Is the installer for the Oracle SES 11g for windows platform available?
    Thanks

    The Windows version got delayed due to a number of issues related to the move to WebLogic Server rather than OC4J.
    I'm running a test candidate at the moment, we hope to get it out by the end of the month, or perhaps a bit later.
    Note the Windows version will be 64-bit only and will require Windows 2008 Server R1 64-bit.
    It's definitely not a "dead product", in fact the development team is expanding which should allow us to get future patches and versions out in a more timely fashion.

    SAP does neither "recommend" nor "deny" any processors.
    If you check http://service.sap.com/benchmarks then you get a lot of machines with different CPUs/operating ssytems and database combinations.
    Choose the one that suits best for you.

  • Using SES URLs

    There seems to be a difference in configuration that I can't
    find between version 7 and 8.
    For example, on the version 7 server, a URL like this:
    http://www.server.com/karaoke-brand.cfm/Brand/251-karaoke.html
    works exactly like this:
    http://www.server.com/karaoke-brand.cfm/Brand/251
    The problem is on version 8, I can try the above URL (without
    the -karaoke.html) and it works just fine, but adding the
    "-karaoke.html" throws a 404 error. I've looked through the web.xml
    file to compare differences between version 7 and 8, but I don't
    see anything in there that would cause this behavior.
    The reason for "-karaoke.html" to stay included is because
    when the site was developed, this is the behavior that was used.
    Making 1 global change needs to happen.

    I am using CF8 server with different kind of SES URLs without
    any issue.
    I think there must be something which is not related with the
    server version.
    If you can clarify your issue with the SES technique etc.
    that would be nice to resolve also your issue.

  • Oracle 11g - Date Issue?

    Oracle 11g - Date Issue?
    =====================
    I hope this is the right forum for this issue, if not let me, where to go.
    We are using Oracle 11g (11.2.0.1.0) on (Platform : solaris[tm] oe (64-bit)), Sql Developer 3.0.04.
    Our NLS_DATE_FORMAT = 'DD-MON-RR'
    Using 'RR' in the format forces two-digit years less than or equal to 49 to be interpreted as years in the 21st century (2000–2049), and years 50 and over, as years in the 20th century (1950–1999). Setting the RR format as the default for all two-digit year entries allows you to become year-2000 compliant. For example:
    We have a date '01-JUN-31' in our source system. It treat this date as 01-JUN-2031' instead of '01-JUN-1931'. One century forward.
    Do we able to resolve using NLS_DATE_FORMAT change?
    How do we resolve this issue?
    Thanks in helping.

    qwe16235 wrote:
    Our source is Oracle data base, where S_date is defined as DATE. Why did you say STRING , when it defined as DATE data type?I doubt you source is an Oracle database. You may have it stored in an Oracle database, but it cam form somewhere else, and was very likely inserted into the table as a string, wherever it came from. Given a string that resembles a date, Oracle will try to convert it to a date using the nls_date_format parameter for the session (which can either be set in the session or inherited form the database). Perhaps this will help explain:
    SQL> create table t (conv_type varchar2(10), dt date);
    Table created.
    SQL> alter session set nls_date_format = 'dd-mon-rr';
    Session altered.
    SQL> insert into t values ('Implicit', '01-jun-31');
    1 row created.
    SQL> insert into t values ('Explicit', to_date('01-jun-1931', 'dd-mon-yyyy'));
    1 row created.
    SQL> commit;
    Commit complete.
    SQL> select conv_type, to_char(dt, 'dd-mon-yyyy') dt
      2  from t;
    CONV_TYPE  DT
    Implicit   01-jun-2031
    Explicit   01-jun-1931So, unless you are really inserting dates, not strings that look like dates, you are going to have problems.

  • Pl-Sql Oracle Function Concurrency Issue

    Hi All,
    Issue - pl-sql Oracle Function performance issue, when muliple users are accessing the function
    Detail -
    Oracle 11g / Linux Server
    I have developed a pl-sql oracle function to retrieve information from 3 tables, output as a particluar type array.
    Single request is getting processed within 2.2 seconds, but when multiple request are sent concurrently <tested with 50>, time taken for each output is different.
    BreakUp of Response times:-
    8 messages took - 2.2 sec
    +8 messages took - 4.4 sec
    ++8 messages took - 6.6 sec....etc
    I'm looking for any DB tunning parameter, which will help to resolve this issue.
    My only aim is to expose developed function to multiple users, who all can access it concurrently, but response should limit within 2.2 seconds.
    Any thoughts + guidance is higly appreciated.

  • Search Engine Safe (ses) URLs

    I am running a test server with MX7 and IIS5. I have SES urls
    working on a production server with MX6.1 but this test server will
    not go past the home page. Every link I click loads the home page.
    I have followed the directions for uncommenting lines in the
    web.xml file (they were already uncommented) and made sure the "see
    if file exists" option is unchecked in IIS. Still no luck.
    Any ideas?

    Any possible solutions to this problem?

  • Searchadmin command in Oracle SES

    Hi Raford,
    Thanks for your reply.
    I could see all the Metadata attibutes in the advance search option. But instead is there any option like.. first i should select the Category and after that i should select my desired Metadata Attributes in that category.
    We need this feature because a customer might find difficult to select his desired MetaData Attribute from the entire list of MetaData Attributes LOV
    Thanks

  • MSSQL 2005 to Oracle Database Conversion Issue

    Hi Experts,
    We have a requirement where we need to fetch data from MSSQL2005 and store it in Oracle DataBase.
    Could you all please let me know which KM module i need to import to achieve it.
    Cheers,
    Andy

    Andy
    There are a number of options. You should select based on the volume of data and platform, and flexibility of your architecture etc
    - At the simplest level, you could use the LKM SQL to Oracle, which will issue a SELECT on the source and do INSERTS on the target (using prepared statements etc, so not horrendous)
    - You could use the a bulk loading methodology - by using SQLUNLOAD (or bcp) and then load into Oracle using External Tables or SQLLOADER, which will probably be the fastest solution. (I created a KM which generates all the right code to load the data that way, but without a staging area, you can find it here
    If you want a staging area table etc, then you could modify the code in that KM to be an LKM rather than an IKM.

  • AutoSuggest in Oracle SES

    Hi,
    Does Oracle SES supports Auto-Suggest feature? Is there any plugin available for achieving the same?
    Auto-Suggest: When the user starts keying in the Search term, a dropdown with Suggestions matching the keyed in letter will be displayed.
