Oracle.tip.adapter.api.record

I am producing an XMLRecord converter class which needs the oracle.tip.adapter.api.record.XMLRecord interface definition. Can anyone tell me where to find the library with this class?
Does anyone have an example of a XMLRecordConverter implementation class?

In case anybody else runs into this issue... I included jar files of my oracle installation until I found the right one. I think the orabpel.jar had this, or the orablpel-thirdparty.jar.

  • Implementing oracle.tip.adapter.api.record.XMLRecord

    I have a working custom JCA adapter, except it is not returning objects which implement the oracle.tip.adapter.api.record.XMLRecord class. I would do this except I cannot find that library anywhere to include in my classpath, so I cannot implement it.
    Where can I get this so I can implement it? Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Diagnostics displaying: oracle.tip.adapter.api.LifecycleAware

    I have a bpel composite with file adapter on services lane. Everything checks ok, file adapter is running, weblogic running, but when the file adapter kicks in to poll the file (whose directory location is specified in the file adapter wizard) I get this error in the diagnostics log below. Note that file never gets picked up as no instances are shown in the em console.
    Any suggestions ? Kind regards..

    Hi Vlad,
    The file is opaque format, so I'm not using the builder for the file. I did for another project do a file adapter using a wizard for a space delimited file, but it seems that during file polling it's throwing the same exception. So for the two files which are of type opaque and delimited format, using the file adapter wizard, I'm getting the same exception I posted earlier:

    Mate ,
    Just check the health status and state of DB Adapter in the deployments of WLAdminConsole.
    If its inactive , redeploy and update it ,also make sure its targeted to the right server.

  • Filename Format in FTP Delivery Channel - oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.allTPInOne

    Hi,
    For Inbound SFTP transfer is there a way to avoid using standard B2B file-naming convention at source files?
    We tried the following for B2B host external delivery channel (SFTP) which would pick up the files from trading partner directory -
    1. Set oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.allTPInOneDirectory = false
    2. Create a directory specific to the trading partner and have the Trading Partner drop the files in the Trading Partner specific folder.
    However, it did not work; the transfer was successful only when standard file name format was specified and used for files.
    We are using 'Oracle B2B 10.1.2 MLR16' version - is this feature not available in this version?
    Sincerely,
    CD

    Thanks Anuj

    preserve filename=true

    filename format (specified in host external delivery channel) =%FROM_PARTY%_%TO_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_NAME%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%
    fullpath=/../SystemB/SampleFile.txt SystemB is the remote trading partner (FROM_PARTY); it has generic identifier created with same name.
    The transfer works if the filename is in this format: %FROM_PARTY%_%TO_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_NAME%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%. Do any of the other parameters for delivery channel such as directory name format, Directory name format separator need to be used/updated?

  • What about: oracle.tip.adapter.custom.outbound.CustomInteractionSpec ?

    Hi all,
    I am trying to configure a custom outbound JCA adapter through BPEL, using the following link as guide-line:
    [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/integration.1111/e10231/life_cycle.htm#BABBCCGC]
    My current installation consists of Oracle SOA Suite 11g / JDeveloper 11g (11.1.1.4.0)
    After adding the custom adapter into the composite, the following _custom.jca file is produced:
    <adapter-config name="CustomAdapter"
      adapter="Custom Adapter"
      wsdlLocation="CustomAdapter.wsdl"
      xmlns="http://platform.integration.oracle/blocks/adapter/fw/metadata">
      <connection-factory location="jca/CustomAdapter"/>
      <endpoint-interaction portType="execute_ptt" operation="execute">
        <interaction-spec className="oracle.tip.adapter.custom.outbound.CustomInteractionSpec"/>
      </endpoint-interaction>
    </adapter-config>I've no idea what oracle.tip.adapter.custom.outbound.CustomInteractionSpec is. Does such a class exist ?
    Can't find it in my SOA installation folders. Should I replace it with my custom adapter's class name that implements
    the InteractionSpec interface (i.e. <package_name>.MyCustomInteractionSpec) ?
    Moreover, how does Weblogic "find" the specified class ? I mean, should this class be placed in a specific folder of
    the SOA installation ?
    Thank you for your time. Hope to get some feedback
    George

    I don't know if this is the answer or not, but at least worth a try.
    A few years ago, JBoss was VERY unforgiving if installed on a windows machine with a space in the path. Most JBoss functionality would work fine, but in some situations, it would complain about the URL, just as it has in your case. It looks to me as if you do have a space in your path. I don't know if they ever got around to fixing it (I filed the original bug on the JBoss bug system). It's at least worth a try, or at least a search through the JBoss site to see if this issue still exists.

    Tested calling this PL/SQL API (exactly the same API CALLED in BPEL) in TOAD and this ran for 20 mts in DB.
    With the changes(sync-time-out,global transaction time,hpptd.conf, and transaction-manager.xml ) in SOA configuration then we are getting the exception ..
    So, we need help with SOA configuration to get the BPEL service working when the API called within BPEL service is taking approximately 20 mts.

    Now i am looking to troubleshoot this Timed out issue.
    i, Does this need to increase any configuration file timeout parameter on EBS Adapter or other component ?
    Any suggestions to fix/towards resolution is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    sgaraga

    After increasing sync-time-out and global transaction time out to 1800. Issue is still reported.
    We are not using the jdbc pool.
    Still not sure what we are missing here and running into this:
    WSIFInvocationHandler::invoke> invoke failed
    org.collaxa.thirdparty.apache.wsif.WSIFException: exception during SOAP invoke: Timed out; nested
    exception is:
    javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException: Timed out
    In addition:
    ========

  • Not able to integrate SOA Suite with EBS using Oracle APPS Adapter

    Hi,
    We need to listen to outbound business events of Oracle EBS using BES via Oracle APPS Adapter.
    We have created a composite containing Oracle Application Adapter and BPEL Process.
    In Apps adapter when configured Outbound Business events "oracle.apps.bom.component.modified" using Dequeue Operation,a corresponding subscriber is created in WF_BPEL_Q for respective event selected.
    In Oracle EBS
    for "oracle.apps.bom.component.modified" status is enabled and in subscription WF_BPEL_QAGENT is there.
    When we are changing any BOM component in Oracle EBS Designer and saving it, a record is being created in "WF_BPEL_QTAB".
    BPEL Process( Oracle Apps Adapter Partner Link---> Recieve Actvity ) instances are not being created when any BOM component is being changed.
    Oracle Apps Adapter is not able to dequeue the data from WF_BPEL_QTAB.
    There is not any error/exception in oracle soa suite server logs for Oracle APPS adapter.

    We would like to capture a few business events in oracle BOM and PO that are of interest to us. In order to do this,
    we deploy oracle SOA composite with BEPL in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Control. The oracle SOA composite is configured for a particular outbound business event. It should listens on a specific queue WF_BPEL_Q or WF_BPEL_QTAB and de-queues the messages from that Oracle Queue or Oracle AQ Table. In jDeveloper 11g we created a SOA project with oracle applications adapter partner link and a receive.
    Specifically we are trying to capture the business outbound event oracle.apps.bom.component.modified just to get the event data in this receive.
    Partner link configuration: We added the database connection to the oracle EBS instance. Tested it and we
    succeded. Chose ANY_SCHEMA in partner link configuration.
    We ensured that the JNDI Name here( eis/Apps/Apps ) match the JNDI name provided in the weblogic-->Deployments--
    OracleAppsAdapter -->Configuration --> Outbound Connection Pools. For this outbound resource pool, Connection factory interface was javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory. Property name xADataSourceName was mapped to JNDI name of the configured JDBC datasource in the weblogic. When we created the connection pool. We tested and it worked fine. This data source had the connection pool configured to the oracle applications schema with APPS user.
    After adding the partner link with the above configuration, we added a receive. We deployed this configuration to the middleware. We went to the oracle EBS modified a BOM component and we expected to having running BPEL instances against the deloyed composite. However, the problem is we are not having any running instance for the composite.
    We found that there are entries in the view AQ$WF_BPEL_QTAB with an ENQ_TIME and ENQ_TIMESTAMP but with no DEQ_TIME or DEQ_TIMESTAMP. The ENQ_TIMESTAMP corresponds to the time we modified BOM in oracle BOM forms/Designer
    The data is being written in WF_BPEL_QTAB for the BOM changes but not being dequeued by oracle applications adapter/composites deployed in soa server.
    Please help me it quite urgent.
    Is there anything we are missing on EBS side to be activited. for the events to be dequeued
    Any Help is appreciated.

  • How to setup JNDI Name for Oracle Apps adapter?

    Hello,
    I am learning Oracle SOA 11g and trying to do some tutorial on Oracle Application Adapter.  I know how to configure JNDI for DBadapter and I did that successfully. I followed same steps to create New JNDI for Oracle Apps Adapter.
    1. I Created new data source using Path Services->Data Sources -> New Genric Data Source. Connection to database was successful and created new JNDI Name: jdbc/PKDTAPPS.
    2. Then Deployment-> OracleApps Adapter-> Configuration-> Outbound Connection Pools -> New and created JNDI Name eis/Apps/PKDTAPPS.
    However I did not find newly created JNDI Name in step 2 under Deployment-> OracleApps Adapter-> Configuration-> Outbound Connection Pools -> javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory.
    Please let me know if am I following correct steps to create new Oracle Apps Adapter JNDI Name or not.
    Since above approch did not work I created new JNDI for DBAdapter with same database connection details. And then latter on use that JNDI Name while creating Oracle Application Adapter in JDeveloper composite. And it allowed me to access Oracel Apps open interface. However while deploying the application it gave me following error.
    <Feb 16, 2015 10:50:59 AM CST> <Error> <oracle.integration.platform.blocks.deploy.servlet> <SOA-21537> <Sending back error message: There was an error deploying the composite on AdminServer: [JCABinding]

    Since I have no past experience kindly suggest me what is right way to do this.
    Thanks,

    Hi shri,
    Can you check the targets of oracle apps adapter that is it deployed on both cluster and admin server both.
