OraInstall timestamp folder gets created daily at /tmp + GridControl.

i have a environment with oracle 11g grid control and in few servers exactly at midnight everyday orainstall<TimeStamp> directories are getting created. So i think daily there is some kind of silent install getting triggered.
so i have checked deployment and deployment procedures in grid control, and could not find anything related to this.
i checked database level jobs, nothing here as well,
i check crontab, nothing here as well,
just for a day i stopped the oracle agent and did not see the orainstall getting kicked at midnight, so atleast i can rule out the operating system part.
this is how the folder looks like

Movemailbox issue: new empty calendar folder gets created after mailbox move

Hi,
when doing mailbox moves between Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013 (CU3 and SP1) and also between two Exchange 2013 SP1 servers we experience the following issue:
sometimes a new empty default calendar folder is being created after the mailboxmove completes. Out of 230 moved mailboxes 6 mailboxes experienced this issue. For some reason the existing calendar folder is changed to a user created folder and a new
calendar folder gets being created. This causes some panic by the affected users, since they suddenly notice that their calendar is completely empty. The free/busy information other people see is also empty because they also see the empty calendar.
To correct the issue I have to manually move the items from the original calendar folder to the newly created calendar folder.
Any idea what might cause this? I don't have reproduction steps, it just happens at random during the mailbox move. The moverequest completes succesfully, no errors are reported and the movereport also doesn't contain any clues.

But outlook wasn't running, so outlook couldn't have created the new calendar folder. I did the mailbox move out of office hours. Right after the mailbox move completed I ran the 'get-mailboxfolderstatistics' cmdlet. When looking at the output I search
for 'user created' calendar folders called 'Calendar'. The mailboxes that were affected also had another 'Calendar' folder of the type 'Calendar'. This is the newly created folder. So the mailbox contains two folders called 'Calendar' after the move. Although
I can't reproduce it, I'm able to detect when it happened by looking at the output of the above cmd-let.

How does an "iPhoto Library Copy" folder get created? It has an icon that looks like a stack of photos with a pink flower. It contains all my photo's (as far as I can tell) and the original "iPhoto Library" only contains "AlbumData.xml?

I upgraded to Lion last month AFTER wiping the hard drive for the second time on my 2011 macbook pro. I am now suspecting that transferring my photos (I have over 8,000 saved on sd cards) to my computer is bringing all this trouble.
I was able to rectify some problems by dragging import file from library to desktop etc... But I am worried that these Copied Libraries and recovered photo files and AlbumData.xml file are a sign of something darker loomng ahead...

Sorry but we have no idea what's going on, or gone on, on your machine. Neither can we see it. We only have your somewhat sketchy post. You mention that you can rectify "some problems", you mention "all this trouble" but neglect to mention what these problems and trouble actually are. So, I'm afraid it's hard to respond to your post in a meaningful way.
A couple of thoughts: 8,000 photos is not a problem. iPhoto is good for 250,000 in any one library. So, unless you have very limited HD disk space, this is not the source of whatever issues you are having.
If you're dragging parts of the iPhoto Library around the place, yes there could be trouble ahead. Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
There are two ways to get a copied library: one is to duplicate the Library yourself (either accidentally or deliberately) or while restoring from back up.

Stange Files getting Created

I have recently noticed that I am getting strange files that I am not sure were they are coming from. The files when opened using VI show the text of MUTX and that is all they say. They are names starting with 0x, followed by a rather long string of Hexidecimal numbers.Example (0x6c6d48142) The files are getting placed directly in my main hard. The files are 44bytes in size but many many of them are getting created daily. I have found little to no articles explaing what may be related to MUTX,except it may be related to some type of "leak", I do not understand what that means. Has anyone seen this or this type of thing before? Thank you for your help

The job will be created the file only on the server where the database is installed not in any other server.

In outlook 2013 a folder is getting created automatically & New emails are directly going to this folder

Hi, The scenario is as follows
1. A user has wierd problem where in outlook 2013, a folder named "Junk" is created & all emails are going to that folder
2. This Junk is not the regular "Junk E-Mail" folder & it is different.
3. There is "Inbox" folder as well in the outlook
4. There are no Rules in outlook
5. I am able to delete the "Junk" folder, but again after closing & opening the outlook the folder gets automatically created.
What could be wrong here :(

Which type of email account are you using? Do you have the email account sync to any mobile device? If so, please check the junk email option on the mobile device. You can also try to disable the sync in the mobile device and then check the issue again.
Please let me know the result.

Extension folder is not getting created for firefox 4 in Mac OS

in Mac OS 10.6, 10.5, extension folder is not getting created in the profile for the firefox 4.0. Where as in Firefox 3.6 when you launch the firefox first time, profile folder is created and extension folder is also part of that.

That extensions folder will only be created if there are extensions found that need to be installed. If there are no extensions then Firefox doesn't create an empty extensions folder.<br />
On Windows there is a lot of security software that installs extensions globally.

Could you please list which options you are selecting when building a
source distribution (I am assuming you are using LabVIEW 8.0?).
Do you get this error when clicking on "Generate Preview" button when configuring source distribution properties?
Under "Distribution Settings" category, could you try checking the
"Disconnect type definitions and remove unuses polymorphic VI
instances" option and see if that helps with the build process?
Also I suggest Mass Compiling your VIs (Tools -> Advanced -> Mass Compile) before creating a source distribution.
If these do not help, could you attach your project with all the VIs it contains here?

Weblogic Domain not getting created in SOA Suite 11g R2

I have installed the components of SOA Suite 11g R2 (11.1.1.3) on a single Windows XP SP3 machine (32 bit) following recommended procedures. I tried to configure Weblogic server using Domain Configuration utility. After navigating hrough the wizard, no Weblogic server profile is getting created in the doamin folder. Even the WL Admin server is not getting created. The Domain Configuration utility did not throw any errors.
1) Is this problem related to Oracle repository for SOA suite 11g?
2) Can the repository schemas (Oracle) hold multiple weblogic SOA domain information?

Weblogic servers directory do not gets created after domain creation or even managed server configuration. It will present itself only when you start the managed server for the first time, that is when it initializes all security attributes, diagnostic attributes (if configured) , etc..
Perform server start and then check if it gets created or not.

Solved for me.
I set the owner/permissions of my profile's mozilla folder's (and all the files in it) to read/write access, and the problem disappeared.
in linux:''

My active accounts are clean, but the On My Mac gmail keeps and continues to repopulate all email, even after I trash them.
If you're seeing messages remaining in GMail's All Mail folder after deleting them, that's normal. GMail keeps all messages in there, even after deletion, unless you manually delete stuff using GMail's web interface. See Hiding GMail’s “All Mail” from Apple Mail.
If you're actually having trouble deleting e-mail from an On My Mac mailbox, there's probably something wrong with your mailboxes.

IDOC File target - file not getting created

I am using Realtime job for sending idoc from data services to sap. I am using idoc message as source, query and idoc file as target transform in the data flow. I have following settings in IDOC file as target
Idoc file : /tmp/costcentertest.txt
Idoc type: COSMAS01
Data store name: DS_SAP
Application server: saptest
When i send the idoc I can load the data into table or create the file in /tmp directory. After changing target to idoc file and entering the above settings i don't see any file getting created. I do see idoc was received from we05 and also show green in data management console.
I was checking if i have to change something or missing some steps.

Check whether the order qty field is there in flat file or not. Second if the data is there then it is getting uploaded
in read the file or not. Subsequently in converted data . When the mapping is correct and data is getting populated
in read file and converted file it will get uploaded. Hope it will help you.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I have "n" number of timestamps in a folder like :-
2010_08_04_15_14_57 (yyyy_dd_mm_h_mm_ss)
2010_08_04_15_15_57
2010_08_04_15_16_57
From these folders I need to pickup the latest(recent) timestamp folder, here it is 2010_08_04_15_16_57. For this to happen I need to check if any of these timestamp folders is close to the current timestamp, so that i can make sure that particular folder is the recently created one? How to find that whether the timestamp folder is close to the current Timestamp, because Calendar & Date classes have the before() & after(), but there is no API to find which of these timstamp folders are close to the Current timestamp? Please shed some light into this.

Thanks in advance.If there are no other type of files or folders in the the folder containing these time stamp folders then you can use File.listFiles() and use Arrays.sort() on them to give the most recent time stamp folder in the last element. If there are other types of folder and files, then it would be necessary to implement FileFilter and use File.listFiles(FileFilter). The advantage is you have a File reference to the time stamp folder you presumably ultimately need.
