  • Pricing diff in sales order diff in billing

Frnds I have 3 pricing procedures for a client....in sales order all 3 are visible as per the respective document type but when i go to invoice for all 3 document types it picking just one specific pricing procedure eveytime......do i need to chng anythin in the copy control settings plsss assist itss urgent
    thank u for ur time
    regards
    Maddy

    Hello Maddy,
the pricing procedure in the billing document should be the same as the pricing procedure in the order.
You can use diferent pricing procedures in the order.
Which pricing procedure is determine depends on the following fields:
    > sales area
    > Document procedure
    > Pricing procedure assigned to this customer
Please go to transaction OVKK. Here can you define which pricing procedure should be determine in the order.
The copy control is not relevant in this case.

  • Condition type: DIFF-Rounding Off

    Dear Colleagues,
The condition type DIFF-Rounding off is not woring in sales order.
    Config details as follows.
    1. OB90->Respective Company Code, Currency & rounding unit of '5' is being set in this transaction.
    2. Define condition type DIFF via Transaction V/06. This condition type is maintained as "Group and Item Condition".
    3. Included the condition type DIFF in the pricing procedure:setting are as per standard Reqt = 13, Caltype = 16, BasType = 4.
    Two issues noticed:
    1) In the sales order: DIFF is determined at item level and header level as well but value of DIFF shows "Zero".
    2) Crdit memo: DIFF was not determined.
In both the cases Net value + Tax was in decimals, supposed to round off.
Could anyone help what needs to be done or missing data.
What exactly the functionaly of DIFF condittion type... Does it round of Net value + Tax or each condition value .
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vamsi P.

  • WIP report and WIP gl value differ

    Dear all,
When I execute KKAO report for a particular month, the WIP values for some orders differ from the WIP Gl Balance for the particular period.
Please suggest me why this difference occurs?
    Thanks & Regards,
    A.Anandarajan.

    Hi Dasuni ,
As you might be aware , whatever results the system computes for Work in Process for partially delivered orders and for Variances for fully delivered orders are posted to Financial Accounting using Settlement. If you look at the Production order settlement rule , you will have PER and FUL settlement rules described wherein if in one specific period , you do not settle the order , the same may be settled in the next period by virtue of the FUL indicator. So, in your case , it is a clear indication that one such orders was not settled during May but was settled during June. That is what apparently I can make out of this.

  • SAP Rescheduling (V_V2) Sort order

    Hello experts!
have a question on rescheduling sort order:
    1) Date -> Sort item by date of creation - Does SAP will consider only date? Or time also considered?
    2) Document number - Does SAP takes real document number? What will happen if my sales orders have different number ranges in the same plant? (ex. Range one starts from 46......01; Range two starts from 45.....01) Does that mean that my 46.....01 will be prioritized first?
    Thank you for your answers!

    1) Date -> Sort item by date of creation - Does SAP will consider only date? Or time also considered?
Only the date is considered. The sort is executed here:
    SDV03V02 FORM XTAB_SORT
    IF p_schlv = 'X'.
When on schedule line level use additional sort-criterias.
      SORT xtab BY (LV_SORT1) (LV_SORT2) (LV_SORT3)
                   (LV_SORT4) (LV_SORT5) eindt etenr.
    ELSEIF p_itemlv = 'X'.
      SORT xtab BY (LV_SORT1) (LV_SORT2) (LV_SORT3)
                   (LV_SORT4) (LV_SORT5).
    ENDIF.
As you can see, the system is sorted according to 5 fields - these are the 5 fields you see in the selection screen. And as the created time is not one of the fields, it will not be considered.
However, normally, the earlier created sales order will be a lower number than the later created sales order so it should then be sorted accorded to that number consider the following example that I just tested with:
    - Stock is 0
    - Sales Order 896 is created with creation date = 25.02.2014 & creation time 11:09:15. Confirmed quantity is 0
    - GM posted. Now stock is 100.
    - Sales Order 897 is created with creation date = 25.02.2014 & creation time 11:10:04. Confirmed quantity is 100.
I execute V_V2 with the following sort:
    Document category               3
    Delivery priority                      2
    Date                                       1
    Document number                 4
    Document item                      5
So in this case, LV_SORT1 = "ERDAT". Both of the above orders have the same ERDAT (Creation Date in VBAK). LV_SORT2 = "LPRIO", LV_SORT3 = "SORT_DOCTYPE". All these values are the same for both orders. Then, LV_SORT4 - "VBELN". Here, the 2 orders differ and 896 is placed at the top of the sort table instead of 897.
SAP Note 1897242 describes a BADI where you can apply your own sort logic. This could be helpful for you.

  • Internal Order vs Work order

    Hi Gurus,
What are the differences between an internal order and a work order? How can a work order differ to an internal order?
I already understand that work orders do not have a hierarchy, groups, commitments, plans or budgets.
Thanks for your help and Happy New Year!!
    Regards,
    Catherine

    Hi,
Please find below the some differences:
    Maintenance order-
1.You can create the with reference to Equipment/Functional Location.
2.You can assign the Work center
    3.You can assign the permit
    Internal Order:
    1.You can maintain the Budgets
    2.You will have Commitments
    3.We will have hierarchy, groups
The main difference is the Maintenance order is to capture and monitor the maintenance related activities and the Internal Order is mainly for costing purpose like assigning Budget, Settlement...etc.

  • Roundind off - DIFF condition

    Hello friends,
It's the first time that I deal with DIFF condition.
This is the requirement that I'm trying to fulfill :
    Total value before DIFF : 10,70 10,71 10,72 10,73 10,74
    Total value after DIFF :    10,70 10,70 10,70 10,70 10,70
Total value before DIFF : 10,75
Total value after DIFF : 10,75
    Total value before DIFF : 10,76 10,77 10,78 10,79
    Total value after DIFF :    10,80 10,80 10,80 10,80
I have chosen rounding unit "5", system brings in sales order DIFF with value 0.
In fact, I need clarifications about how does this condition DIFF work?
What rule should I define in table T001R ?
    Regards,
    Bahia.
Edited by: Bahia M. on Apr 27, 2010 11:07 AM

    Dear Bahia,
The standard way in which rounding can be achieved in SAP is through OB90 where we define a rounding rule. Like others above said, we define a rule for the combination of Company Code and Currency.
Here we define for example:    1000 + USD = 100.  This means that all USD values will be rounded to the nearest Dollar. All values
    are without cents.
or                                               1000 + USD  =  50. This means all the values will be rounded to the nearest half Dollar, like 0.50 or
1.00 or 1.50 or 2.00 and so on.
To achieve this, we need to assign this rounding rule in the pricing procedure against our required condition type. In your case you want the rounding to happen for net price. this has to a condition type and against this condition type, under Requirements give '13' and under CalTyp give '17'. Your rounding will work. Hope this is clear to you.

  • No OS on drive so need to reinstall Vista OS before 7 upgrade but Vista discs do not work

With regard to the information below the recovery discs were made when the laptop was new and they won’t work now. How will these discs that can be ordered differ from the ones that were made? The laptop was not a refurbished model.
No offence, but free discs with a $25 delivery charge are not really free. Besides, I am currently traveling in Brazil and it would not be practical to have discs sent here, especially if they did not work. If they are free where can I find a free download? Or, what can a local tech shop do to enable me to install my Windows 7 Professional which I purchased from the Microsoft Store?
    Thanks.

Recovery media [ New ] Options 01-16-2009 04:44 PM - last edited on 10-01-2010 02:12 PM All new Toshiba laptops ship from the factory with the ability to run the system recovery process from a hard disk partition, and with preinstalled software that can be used to record recovery media to blank discs. Toshiba recommends creating recovery media to ensure the ability to run a system recovery even if the hard disk recovery partition is damaged or deleted, or if the hard disk breaks. Reconditioned laptops may not include this recovery enabling software so may require that recovery media be purchased. Recovery media can be ordered online. Click here to begin the order process. There is no charge for the software itself, for which customers already own licenses, and as of 10/1/10 the shipping and handling charges for delivery of recovery media in the US is $24.95 for DVD media or $34.95 for USB sticks. Also effective 10/1/10, recovery media for computers purchased in the US can be shipped to addresses in Canada. As of 10/1, the shipping and handling charges for delivery of US product recovery media to addresses in Canada is $29.95 for DVD media or $39.95 for

  • Cost Elements not to be created

< MODERATOR:  Message locked.  Please post this message in the [Controlling forum|SAP ERP Financials - Controlling;. >
    Hi All,
Can you please let us know, which type of P&L accounts should not be created as Cost Elements in Controlling . . .
We have list of such accounts which are not to be created as Cost Elements. Pl let us if the list is correct or not.
Cost Elements should not be created for the following.
1 Change in work in process WIP
    2. Cost element for cost of goods sold transactions. (P&L Accounts maintained in OBYC > GBB > General Modification VAX)
    3. Production order variances. (P&L Accounts maintained in OBYC > PRD > General Modification PRF)
    4. Do not create any cost elements for financial and tax expenses if you want your CO-PA structure to stop at earnings before interest and taxes
    5. Price Difference account should not be made as cost element.
Please explain for situation where COPA is implemented and where COPA is not implemented . . .
Any guidence in this regard will be of grate help . . .
    Regards,
    Ravi Kumar

    Hi,
    Your list is not viable.
See, cost element only can be made for P&L item.
U can't make cost element for  B/S item.
For P/L item also , u need to understand company's policy and requirement.
    In your list
change in WIP is a B/s item so it is not a cost element item.
O ther Gl like cost of goods sold , generaly no company follow this GL as such head is a part of costing sheet reporting .
U need to asssigne GL which is related with that head in costing sheet.
Any way your gl like price difference, Prod  order diff etc must have cost element . other wise U will get fake report on Controling.

    Pari

  • Sorting dimension values

Is it possibe to sort dimension values in hierarchy in order diffirent from alphabetic?

When you define a dimension you should notice on the first tab an option to set the type of dimension. The options are: User and Time. For a Time dimension you need to select type Time and this will automatically sort the members into calendar order for you. However, your source table does need to contain some additional metadata such as Time span (number of days for each time period; week=7, month=28 or29 or 30 or 31 Quarter=90 or 91 and Year = 365 or 366) and End Date for each time period. These two additional attributes are used for both sorting and to enable the time based calculations such as:
    Year To Date
    Prior Period
    Future Period
    Moving Total
    Moving Max
    Moving Min
    Does that help?

    Hi all,
I have to create a sales report where i need to pull values based on a customer and materials.
Example : Customers have ordered diff materials and i have to pull data based on the customer and the materials he  has ordered, the net values of that materials and sales values of that materials. Like wise for all customers.

I was pulling sold to party- kunag from vbrk and getting all the vbelns from vbrp for that customer.
and each vbeln had diff materials ordered by that cust in it, and i had to check for a particular matnr and posnr in a vbeln and calculate the total for a material based on cust.
the figures being shown in vf03 for vbeln and the data i was populating were not matching. As i was confused i asked for a example.

I am experiencing more and more troubles with programs shutting down, unexpectedly.
first OF PRo Tools, i had some demo versions of some plugins installed.
Thought that was the reason. Uninstalled, still issues.
I read, that having the right usb next to the firewire in use, while operating Pro Tools active might cause some problems...
Same thing happens in Final Cut Express.
And recently i am experiencing problems with Excel...
Problems start when i click on a certain action (write, cut, font..., orders differ from app to app) OS stops for a brief moment, the rainbow shows for 10 or so seconds, then programs shuts.
Before i go unplugging every device and driver, and so on..., i wanted to know if any of you have some more plausible explanation why it happens?
    Thank you,

One question though - how reliable are the Hardware
Test and programs like Rember? My first Mac (iBook G4
2ghz) had a logic board failure after a month, and I
the Hardware test didn't detect any issues when I
first started having the symptoms that led up to it.
Same thing with my first Macbook - I started having
the symptoms of Hard Drive failure (thankfully I do
regular backups), but Hardware Test gave me no
indications that there was a problem...
Ya, in the past AHT was not too reliable, especially with G4 machines but I think I heard on these forums that Apple has addressed this, however it never hurts to run it.

  • Capturing  shipping cost

    hi
kindly suggest me to solve the following scenario>
our client wants to capture the loading and unloading and transportation charges tripwise and transporter wise and one trip means many invoices pertaining to many sold-to parties ( ensuring truck should be full as there is a contract with trasprtr)
    kidly suggest .urgent pls...
    rgs
    shankar GJ

    Hi Shankar,
as i understand from your post,
    your client wants to capture,
    1-loading and unloading charges
    2-transportation charges tripwise
    3-transporter wise -
As you have contract with your transporter(vendor/forwarding agent) as truck should be full.
this includes many sales order & diff sold-to's
while creating shipment doc's- you include many deliveries until truck is full.to collect all these deliveries in one shipment-
it should meet certain criteria- like
shipping point / transportation planning point should be same-
    vendor should be same
    Delivery date shoud be same
    incoterms
then only you can collect all the deliveries into one shipment.
I suggest you to maintain the frieght cost for this route ( i guess- route will be same, you may maintain the freight costs including loading/unloading- distance-duration  etc..,)
maintain the shipment cost pricing procedure ( which can be created specific to one vendor only)
Follow the std shipment & Transportation process.
your scenario can be achived by the above process.

    Hi S R,
Order series is the concept used in SNP whereas time series is concept used in DP.
ie In SNP, orders are stored in livecache as Order series whereas in DP, the historical data is stored with respect to time, ie time series in DP.
