Order Line status is Awaiting Shipping but the header status is Closed.

All,
I have few order lines which are in Awaiting Shipping Status but the order header is closed.
When I checked the Shipping Transactions, the lines are backordered.
I did release and ship confirmed the lines and now the line status is closed.
My understanding is that the header flow should not get closed until all the lines in are completed and closed.
But in this scenario, its not the case. Is it a bug (or) its the standard functionality (or) is there any way we can control this?
Please advise.

You are correct - this is not supposed to happen. But every now and then Oracle workflow hiccups and causes these kinds of issues.
You can raise an SR and ask Oracle to give you a data fix script.
Or you can write your own script to reopen the header.

    And does the report posted and accessible from the monitor ?
    Peopletools version ? OS ? Database ?
    Did you try to refresh the page (not through the refresh button but with your web browser) ?

  • I keep getting an error message when logging onto iCloud. It states that "you cant sign in because of a server error".  But the cloud status is "normal".

    This is happened today after I udpated my iPad to IOS v7 and iTunes to 11.1.0.126  and only for one of my computers.  I keep on getting an error message when trying to log onto iCloud.  The error message is "you cannot sign-in because of a server error" but the iCloud status is "normal" and iCloud is fine on my other computers.

    Next day the problem still continued.  I did restart my computer a couple of times and then "it worked".  Not sure why - if it really was a server problem or something on my side.

  • Workflow status column is not showing the internal status values (Inprogress, Started, Suspended, Completed)

    I've created SPD 2013 workflow and deployed them onto that document library, This workflow execute on item update event. When updating library item, workflow triggered and completed successfully but workflow status column is not
    showing the Internal Status values rather it is showing the Stage information. I've unchecked the "Automatically update stage name on workflow status" and republished the workflow. After that, it is still showing the stage information. Any help

    It is by design that 2013 workflow will show stage name in the workflow status column when
    Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name is checked.
    And the workflow status column will be blank when Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name is unchecked.
    For existing workflows, the workflow status will still exists with the previous values after unchecking Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name.
    We can use Set Workflow Status action to update the workflow status value based on our needs.

  • Double clicking on an email header opens in a tab with the email reference but the header of a totally different email, the body of the email is blank, how fix?

    Emails sitting in my inbox for a few days no longer open normally. Double clicking on them opens a tab referring to the header of the clicked email but below is a header and details from a totally different email and the body of the email is blank. For example double clicking an email from Tesco results in 'Tesco' displaying in the tab but the header below shows 'From: TalkTalk'
    Clicking 'Options' and selecting 'Show remote content' does not overcome the problem.
    Incoming emails open normally when they first come in.
    This peculiarity seemed to apply only to a few emails at first but it is now becoming general.
    Uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird (ver 31.6) and the problem remains. O/S is Windows 7
    How can I overcome this?

    Right click the problem folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder. You may lose messages if the corruption is too bad.

  • Line status - Awaiting Shipping but no records in WDD

    We are currently facing the issue where one line is booked and is currently in 'Awaiting Shipping' status. But when we proceed to perform Pick Release for the same. It is not showing the line there. When we checked in table wsh_delivery_details, there is no record corresponding to this line. Please help in this.

    As the issue was there in production and order had to be shipped, we canceled the line and created a new line and then we were able to pick release the order and record was inserted in WDD as well.

  • How to enter serial number for sale order line  which is in shipped status

    Hi All,
    We have 2 different items which are defined as Serialized at Sale order issue at item definition.
    In one sale order,User has forgot to add serial number to one of the item at Ship confirm stage.
    He has entered serial number correctly to other item.
    Now the both Sale order lines are in Shipped status if we view them through Shipping>transactions.
    I am technical guy and new to OM.Could you please let me know the process to enter the serial number for the item to which user has missed it

    Hi Satya,
    Since the item is already shipped, you cannot enter serial number for this line.
    you have to enter serial numbers after pick confirm only.

    As a workaround for the previous lines do RMA and try to receive the goods back to your subinventory.
    For all new transactions follow the above notes.

  • Sales Order Line Item - Ability to close (but not delete line)

    I am trying to find a way to close out lines on sales orders without actually deleting them from the sales order (I would like to be able to see the closed line and quantity on the sales order for historical purposes). The only option I know of at this time for closing lines on a sales order is to right-click on the row number which gives me the option to delete the line (the line is entirely eliminated from the sales order).
    I know that on the purchase order template when a line item is right clicked there is a u201CClose Lineu201D option which leaves the line on the order template but makes it inactive (the line becomes grey just as if it were closed out through posting receipts).
    Is this possible to get this feature for the sales order template?

    ok an update.  this was taken from my email exchange from my business user
    "The option does not appear unless you update the order before doing anything to it. If you simply right click before selecting update you get an abbreviated drop down menu that does not include the "Close Row" option. I have no clue why that would be.
    And what makes it even worse is that every time you close a row you have to update or you do not get the Close Row option again. This means if I need to close 20 lines on a sales order I have to update twenty times instead of being able to close the lines and update once. VERY time consuming. I wonder if there is a way to fix that!"
    so it is available but after you Update the record.  any way to change that?

    Looks like the items are under either:
    revision control
    subinv control
    locator control
    lot control or
    serial control
    please enter one of these (based on the item) and try shipping again.

  • Java runtime plugin 14.9 is installed on my Mac 10.8, but the plugin status report from Mozilla says I need to update it. How do I resolve this?

    Mozilla's plugin status report says that I need to update Java Runtime Environment, and that I am running version 14.9.0. But when I download the update, all I get is "Java 8 Update 40", which my computer says is an older version. I can't find any info on a later version than 14.9. Nor can I find this plugin in my computer -- it does not appear in the System Preferences window, or in the Applications Folder (including in Utilities). How do I clear this up? (Note: I disabled Firewall).

    Hmm, Java 8 Update 40 should be the current version for both Windows and Mac. Do you recall where you got a version 14.9 -- was it part of an Apple update instead of coming from Oracle (which now operates java.com)?

    With Grand Theft Auto 5 potentially being the biggest game of the year, I can understand your frustration at not being able to place a pre-order online.
    When we state that “We are not able to verify your information” on your order, that generally means that there is some piece of information on your order that is not matching up correctly.  This can be something as simple as a spelling issue, and address that is not recognized as being deliverable or possibly that the billing information on your credit card doesn’t match what is on your BestBuy.com account.
    I would recommend reviewing that information and make any adjustments necessary, including trying a different credit card if necessary.  If that doesn’t work, the only other option I would be able to offer would be to pre-order your copy at your local Best Buy store.

    Try the following.
    Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp53501-54000/sp53848.exe
    When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers.  Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
    When complete, restart the notebook and let Windows fully load.  Open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices.  Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if you now have audio through the notebook speakers.
    If you still have no audio, open windows Control Panel, open Administrative Tools and open Services.  Check that the following services are all showing as Status= Started and Start-up Type= Automatic
    Audio Service
    Multimedia Class Scheduler
    Windows Audio
    Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
    If you need to make a change to any of the above, just right click the service and select Properties, then in the dropdown box next to 'Start-up type',  select Automatic and click Apply to save the change.  Then click the Start button.
