Order on Line/Picking Up At Store

Don't know where to place this question. I just ordered an iPad 2 on line. I see that it won't be shipped until the 27th. Wondered if anyone has done this: paid for item on line, but went to the local Apple Store with payment confirmed by Apple, and picked up the item. I live in NYC, and just found out there is an iPad 2 available at one of their stores. If Apple already has my money in their til, wonder why this can't be done. Any thoughts most welcomed.

I don't think they're keen to do this. When I bought my MacBook Pro with the SSD option I asked if I could order it in store and pick it up when it was ready: they said no, I could only oder it online and have it delivered - they would order it for me if I liked but it would have to be delivered to my home. (I dislike deliveries so I bought it elsewhere).
In your case there is the additional complication that the online order and Store orders are different processes so there would have to be a transfer between them, which may not be easy.

You could cancel it but It will not work that way.. Cause you already use the 2 year contract deal on the preorder that you just preorder.. trust me I tried that already when the last time I did a pre-order on the iPhone 5 when they do the first preorder live.... Cause when you did your preorder there was agreement that you agree that they put on the agreement.. So if I were you I wait.. What if you cancel your and then you when on the release date and try to get one what if they're all sold out.... and you know that its crazy on the release date.. Will if you do good luck waiting in line..

VL01N does not to pick Sales order schedule line quantities

Hi,
I need to get Sales order schedule line quantities into VL01N when creating a Delivery document. Currently irrespective of the schedule line size quantity the existing stock quantity is picked into VL01N.
Is there anyway to get this done? doe it require a user exit modification or cna this be done via IMG.

Let me clarify, the schedule line item i meant was, in my case this is an AFS scenario were we maintain size wise quantities.
My issue being for example;
Sales order line item 10 - Qty 1000 (sizes S - 250, M - 500, L - 250)
Stock created in excess of this requirement, so size S - 1000, M - 1000, L - 1000 in stock
In VL01N, when creating the DN for line item 10, it picks the Quantities in stock (which is 1000 each) ... instead of limiting it to the Sales order quantities of sizes S - 250, M - 500, L - 250.
Hope this is clear ... please advice.

May I switch the order from stand shipping to in-store pick up?

I make an order of iphone6plus today in stand shipping way. Is it possible to change it to a in-store pick-up? Will it be much quicker than the shipping way? Has anybody been through the similar situation? Thank you in advance.

Sales order schedule line quantities in decimals

Gurus - Required your help to resolve the following scenario.
I'm facing with the problem where schedule lines of a sales order allocated with decimal quantities even though materials with UOM as EA(Each). For example Material A of sales qty 13 has the schedule lines allocated as 11.960 and 2.040. The delivery has been created as per the schedule lines with qty 11.960 and 2.040 and it has been pick/packed and delivered to the customer. Now, while issuing goods for the delivery, received the error message as <b>"Serial number management only allows whole numbers".</b>
Can anyone provide what are the possible ways to round the delivered qty and issue the goods, when the delivery is complete?

Sree - Question 1 - Why would you deliver the product and then try goods issue it (In general ;)...anyway....I know, a lot of companies do that way....
Question 2 - How much exactly did you ship out, surely must not have shipped products in decimals, since you've EACHES defined and not KGs....or LBs...
I would suggest finding out the correct quantities shipped out and then cancelling this delivery document....you can then go on to modify sales order schedule line accordingly and then process it again..."WHAT ABOUT PICK PACK DETAILS"....before cancelling this delivery doc out..capture the packing details (HUs) and then apply them to the new delivery doc... if you are using external system for packing HUs.....process the IDOC (or file etc) using the new delivery doc number....

Sales order Schedule lines

HI All,
I have created two sales order. In first sales order (6001) I have four line items. Each has different scheduled dates:
For Eg.:
1st 10th Aug
2nd 13th Aug
3rd 16th Aug
4th 19th Aug
For the second sales order (6002) also I have taken the same material and it is showing the scheduled dates as per material availability.
1st 10th Aug
2nd 13th Aug
3rd 17th Aug
4th 20th Aug.
The problem here it is, the system supposed to deliver the goods as per the schedulied dates. But here it is taking on the basis of the sales order. It is giving the preference to order (6001). It is taking and confirming all the line items of the first order(6001) and it is picking only first line item of the second order (6002)
Please provide me solution to deliver on the basis of the scheduled dates.

Hi,
While picking there is no scope for preference to any sales order, this is based on the material availability, PGI is based on shedule lines.
Probably u might have tried delivery process on the confirmed schduleline of the first line item, where u can deliver only first line item.
Check once again schdule lines picking qtys of all the materials.

Material availabity date showing incorrectly in sales order schedule line

Hi ALL,
In Sales order Schedule line(after clicking shipping i.e displaying bottom of the screen) material availabity date is coming incorrectly . In my material in mrp2 view i selected proceument type as F and i gave planned delivery time as 19 days and GR processing days as 1 . suppose if i am putting sales order as on today 9-6-2010 it should show material avaialbity date as
7-7-2010 but it is showing 10 days more (excluding saturday and sunday) . So please give me suggestion where to check in the program SAPMV45A.

Create Transfer Order for Consingment Pick up

Hey, is there anyone know how to create transfer order for consignment pick up.
I had tried it using LT06 by using GR material document but it didnt work.
Please i need the answer rather sooner than later.

Customer consignment pick is from customer consignment stock back to plant stock.. First of all check in MMBE whether stock exists for that material under customer consignment stock. You can check this in MMBE.
Your stock should be maintained in customer consignment and not in interim storage type.
Ideally your process shall flow like this
Sales order (KA-Consignment Pick up with item category as KAN & schedule line category: F0 & F1)>>Enter the order reason, material and quantity in sales orde & Save It>>Create Outbound delivery (VL10B/VL01N)>>Now Create Tranfer order to move the stock from consignment to warehouse stock>>Go to VL02N Choose from menu Subsequent Functions u2013 Create Transfer Order & Enter>>Add Storage bin if required>>Confirm the transfer order (LT12)>>Do the Post Goods Reciept (VL02N)
Now Check Consignment stock quantity with MB58 Add Material , Plant , Customer Execute

TLB order are not picking all PO in APO

TLB order are not picking PO in APO.Order has missing PO.
for ex :
Ord 1 ; 10 lines with 20 qty of PO
Ord 2 : 5 lines with 20 qty of PO (here lines should be 10 instead of 5)

I found the mistake. The address ( shift F5 ) in OX10 does not get transported in transport request , thought the plant gets copied from eg. client 100 to client 200.
So I manually entered the address for the target client eg 200 here, and then the dropdown list now shows all plants.

This is a great question to ask before selecting friends or family pickup as an option on an order! To clarify, per our Store Pickup page on BestBuy.com, a friend or family member would only need to present an ID and the order number. Only you - or the person designated for pickup on the order - may pick up your items. With that said, please keep in mind that some items, such as contract mobile phones, must have the contract holder present at pickup.

Dear
You can go into VA03 --> Menu --> Environment --> Partner --> display credit account (if the data is maintained, than the system springs into FD33). Another way is to check if the sales order type is assigned to credit management in the transaction OVAK (should be D for aut. credit management).
Did you enter the pricing date , prcing condition and press enter , so that it should pick the correct price?

Partial Transfer Order Confirmation on Picking Process

We are on the picking process with a delivery and a tranfer order. Movement type MM/WM 601.
We have a transfer order item line for 10 units.
We would like to confirm 7 units against one handling unit and the other 3 units against a different handling unit.
We are using RF transaction pick&pack LM46.
The problem is that we don´t know how to split the line item in 2 different items within the transfer order.
We don´t want to confirm the TO with differences and create a new TO for the remaining 3 units. We don´t want either to confirm the TO using LT12 because the process has to be done trough standard SAP RF.
Could anyone help, please?

Transfer order confirmation based on shippingpoint
answer: no the transfer creation not at all based on shipping points.
The transfer confirmation you have to in lt12 transcton with teh rransfer order number. creation of transfer you can do in lt03 transaction with reference to the delivery frrom you will get transfer order number after that you have to confirm, so please work on that,

Changing person who picks up from store

Hi,
I'm currently out of the country, but I want my girlfriend who has my credit card to pick up an order from the store. When I got the email it said I could make this change, but elsewhere it says that has to be done prior to the purchase. It's only a small order, how can I get her to pick up the order?

In-store pickup for BestBuy.com purchases is a great way to ensure that you get your order in the most convenient manner for you. I'm sorry to hear that you've been unable to alter your order so your girlfriend may collect it.
Our friend hockeycanuckjc's assessment is pretty spot on: generally speaking, there is a limited time frame in which your order may be updated to designate a different person to pick it up. Once the order has been acknowledged by the store as ready for pickup, this option can no longer be changed. You may cancel your order and place a new one allowing your girlfriend to pick up the order if you wish. If not picked up within approximately 7-8 days, the order will automatically cancel. I regret that we cannot offer another option for your order.
