Dear all,
is it possible to block the creation of a sale order based with PP strategy 81 (or similar) if missing components for planned order are given?
Is also possible to block the creation of a sale order with PP strategy 81 (or similar) if no alllowable capacity for planned order is given in the scheduled dates?

Not in Standard SAP ERP.  You can block confirmation in 81 or 82.

Not in standard SAP ERP.  It is possible to generate a notification popup during the capacity check.
The functionalities you seek exist in APO using either CTP or MATP

    When we create a sales order manually, we get a delivery proposal screen with the options of choosing different dates and quantity. Can I know how this works with an Inbound EDI order?

  • Availability Check in planned Order & Production Order

    Dear All,
    How can I achieve the same Availability Check (missing Parts ) output in Planned Order & Production Order.
    Currently in Availability check in Planned Order is bit different in the sense, I have the Component in Stock without any reservation. But in Planned Order it shows in Missing part.
    But if I convert this Planned Order to Production Order, it is not visible in Missing parts which is correct.
    I want to have the same missing part report for both Planned Order & Production Order.

    Thanks for replay.
    Now i did, the said possibility, in OPJK is different from my Regular material master rule.
    When i see, availability in MD12 it shows the material available, and same as in Production Order check as well.
    But when, I use MDVP, for check. the same planned order shows the same component as missing.
    am i on the right track?
    Please suggest.

  • ATP check with including puchase order

    when we create SO with ATP check to reserve the qty of the currenct stock, we also want to know the future qty of purchase orders so that we can clearly know the supply and demand of these materials.
    so we use ATP check with including purchase order, that users can reserve the qty of open GR purchase orders.
    but when the status of that PO changed, the reserved qty before won't have effect, and can't create outbound delivery either.
    there are two examples below:
    1. there is one SO reserved 10 material qty of the open GR PO, which it's scheduled delivery date is 5/15. but this PO still hasn't  goods receipt until 5/17, cause ATP check rule is "Include future receipts only" ( if "Receipts in the past as well as in the future" is set, it will be confused with current stock qty), so these 10 qty won't have effect and the ATP qty is now a negative. we should only reserve again by t-code V_V2, otherwise all the reserved qty can't be deliveried.
    2.there is one SO reserved 10 material qty of the open GR PO, which it's scheduled delivery date is 5/15, but when the delivery date of confirms tab is updated by vendor, these reserved qty before will also be invalid.
    please tell me how to resolve these problems?

    If the business wants to confirm the sales order quantity against the incoming purchase orders, then this always happen. The issue can be resolved only by rescheduling the sales order by running V_V2 everyday.
    Alternatively you can suggest the business to exclude the purchase order from availabilty check(AC)  in t.code OVZ9 and include shipping notification in it. When the vendor sends some materials confirmation, the purchasing can add the shipping notificatoin details in the purchase order and can create Inbound deliveries for goods receipt. By this way, only when the vendor ships the goods, the quantity will be taken into AC.

    ATP API can be used for scheduling.
    API name: MRP_ATP_PUB.CALL_ATP
    MRP_ATP_PUB is a public API so it should have all validatations etc. Explore above API and you should be able to write some good package for scheduling or ATP.

  • ATP Check in CRM Order

    Hi all
    I am trying to explore the ATP functionality on CRM orders. Per the help we can either trigger it with SAP APO or SAP ECC but I am not sure what is meant by using SAP ECC.
    Is the funcitonality to call SAP ECC even before CRM order save and then tell us ATP check results? Or does it mean that once CRM order is saved and replicated to ECC then the ATP will be carried out? I am pretty sure its the former but just want to confirm with CRM gurus.

    Hi Jai,
    If you use ECC for ATP check its works fine for stock items. You dont have to save the order and reopen to get the delivery dates.
    If the items are Make-to-order, ATP will not work in CRM untill you save the order and reopen. This is because,In ECC, there is a direct linkage between the sales order and the production order in the make-to-order scenario. The confirmed delivery date is based on the scheduling of the production order.The ATP check from CRM makes an RFC-call to ECC in order to perform the ATP check there. Since the sales order does not yet exist in ECC, there is no production order scheduled either. Thus the ATP check can not confirm any dates. The system issues an error message which informs the user that the ATP check could not be carried out The limitations are explained in the note 931796.

  • GATP/ATP Check for Different Order Types for same material

    I have a material code X for which 2 different type of Sales Order (Say A and B )needs to be created.
    For Sales Order Type A the atp check needs to be done in APO through GATP for material code X.
    For Sales Order Type B the atp check needs to be done in SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 through availabilty check functionality for same material code X.
    It is not possible to create seperate material codes to carry out atp/gatp check seperately in R/3 and in APO.
    In real time the atp and cumulative atp position should be same in R/3 and in APO.
    Please let me know solution for this issue.

    Can you share with us as to how you were able to solve this issue. I have a similar issue like yours and I am totally clueless as to what needs to be done..
    My scenario goes this way:
    I have to modify the Schedule line dates for a GATP material according to a newly created date which I calculate based on the Route Schedule id (VL51, VL52) and display the same in the Sales Order schedule line items.
    Also can I get a new set of schedule line dates from the APO system for a date which I calculate based on the Goods Issue date - VALW-AULWE in any exit using a FM or a BAPI?? so that I can get these dates and populate the same in the Sales Order Schedule line??

  • ATP Rule for Planned Orders

    Hi Experts,
    I have configured the ATP rule for Planned Orders. So I only want to check the component stock and Production Orders when running ATP check for the Parent Material.
    In OPJJ, I only selected the following options.
    Include Safety Stock : Ticked
    Check without RLT : Ticked
    Incl.production orders : X (Take all production Orders into account)
    No other options or boxes have been selected
    Also I have included the relevant Checking group in MRP 3 for the Parent Material (Checking Rule has been assigned to that Checking Group in Config) and also maintain the Plant Parameters for MRP (assign the checking rule to the plant)
    So, For an example :
    Parent : A
    Components : B and C
    Parent Material A has only 5 Planned Orders starting on same day 20.05.2014 each qty 5
    Components B got stock 300
    Components C got stock 1
    When I ran ATP Check for the Parent material A using COHV, qty 1 has been allocated to all the planned orders as committed. Why is this happening ?
    I also checked in CO09 for the Component Material C, and it says ATP Qty is only 1. I expected the system would allocate that stock 1 to one of the Orders but it seems to be not working as I expect.
    Any explanations will be much appreciated and will not hesitate to avoid the points.

    Appreciate your reply. Please see the following comments.
    Right now I have been assuming that you have performed an availability check manually for one of the planned orders, and you got the same results (overconfirmation).  Please confirm.
    Yeah I have performed for one order and it gave me the same result.  Also, when I perform for the 2nd Order, it allocates the quantity.
    OK, basic things you should already have checked:
    You have maintained the checking rule for planned orders (OPPQ or OPPR)
    You have maintained the ATP group for the materials (OVZ2)
    You have assigned the ATP group to the Material Master of the components (MM02)
    You have maintained the scope of check according to the rules you mentioned earlier (OPPJ).
    You have no planning strategy in the component material that would have invoked a special ATP.
    I checked everything apart from point 2 (OVZ2). I have maintained that via MRP Group and that MRP Group has been linked to Master Data (MRP 3)

  • Correlation of reservation with Planned order in APO.

    In R/3 in COGI we see reservations. my issue is I want to know for which planned orders in APO these reservations are.
    In the product view in APO we can see some reservations (PRDRES(W) - correct me if I am wrong). How to correlate these reservations with planned orders. I am looking in PP/DS module of APO.

                      You are correct and if product is showing the reservation then it is mean for all order in product view.
    You can check the Production Planning Table inside PPDS for wider view of reservation and orders.

  • Time phased planning with planned orders

    I'm trying to get time-phased planning (MRP) to generate planned orders after the lead-time up to the planning horizon. I cannot get this to work so perhaps I should explain the scenario to see if this is possible. (This is all finished goods procurement, no manufacturing).
    Scenario:
    I have a DC in the US which gets supplied from a DC in the UK on a 4 week lead-time. MRP runs every week and generates a purchase requisition (converted to STO which gets picked and issued etc).
    The DC in the UK gets supplied from vendors on average 3 month lead-time. I get forecast requirements from UK and EMEA regions (stores) and want to also have planned orders from the US DC so that the MRP run on the UK DC will add the total requirements together and give me vendor orders.
    As you can see from the lead-times a single STO from the US DC doesn't give me demand over the total 4 month lead-time which means the UK DC doesn't order enough. If I could get planned orders to generate then it would all come together (simple DRP model?)
    At the moment I'm working round it by running "PD" MRP first on the US DC and then changing the RP type and running time-phased MRP to get a single STO but this isn't perfect and means I have to run it manually every Sunday. (Also the logic is not quite the same between both methods).
    Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Hi,
    I'm using a copy of the R1 MRP type with the only change being that the "RP ind. forecast" configuration is set to G so that forecasts are included in the requirements calculation. I only have forecast values going out to the planning horizon so they need to be relevant.
    I have planning and delivery cycles maintained along with lead times and goods receipt times also but no planned order generation.
    Is there somewhere else I should check?

    material contains batch and some material with sales order and some are with out sales order. my client is asking this in a single layout. please tell me isthere any teport or bapi or function module to get this report.
    this is very uregent. and layout is requesting like opening stock, production stock, sales stock and closing stock.

    For sales order related use specila stock as E and use radio button indicator in stock type
    For stock w/o sales order, use special stock indiactor as "space' and stock type valuated stock.
    to get a perticular month,opening stock/closing stock enter the start date/end date as month start and end date.

  • ATP check for CRM Orders using ECC is creating a replication problem

    Hi Guys,
    I have created an order in CRM and it replicated to ECC,however the issue is I'm unable to change the order any more in CRM, message "Document is being distributed". I'm getting this issue after activating ATP check for CRM -ATP check is working perfectly.
    Before this ATP check, the Order replication was working perfectly and i can do the changes to order in both systems.

    There are no messages in the middleware (smq2 - q1), but this error only started occurring after I activated the ATP check.
    I have also checked the incompletion log at ECC - document is completed.
    Before this ATP check activation the order replication was working correct/y and i can do changes at both ECC and CRM. But now even if i change the order in ECC those changes are not getting replicated infact  queue is not getting generated.
    BDOC is showing sent to receivers (not all confirmed)  BUS_TRANS_MSG.
