Ordering of files once a custom FileView has been set in a JFileChooser.
My end user has a requirement for custom icons in a JFileChooser. I have created a custom FileView but find that the ordering of files and directories is different to the order presented in the default FileView.
For example in the default FileView, the directories are listed first and the files next.
In my custom FileView, I see that the files and directories are listed in ascending alphabetical order, so that files and directories are all listed together.
Attempting to alter the order using a custom FileSystemView with the method public File[] getFiles(File dir,boolean useFileHiding) where the returned file array is in the required order, is still defeated.
I would be grateful for some assistance.

I bought an iPad just before the change to iOS5. The personnel at the Apple Store used their computer to get an AppleID set up so I could access the App Store. I recently got an iPhone which operates on iOS5, which updates by direct download. In the process of activating the phone, it was necessary to establish a totally new AppleID which used my email address for identity, as the old identity would not work. It was also necessary to set up a new password which had higher security requirements so that the old password could not be entered.
Now the apps on the iPad cannot be updated. They are tied to the old ID, which no longer works. Updating settings with the new ID allows newly downloaded apps to be updated (if they don't require iOS5), but not the 60+ old ones.
Apparently, I must now buy a computer to connect to update the iOS in the pad from 4 to 5.
Is there any other way anyone knows of to update the iOS on the iPad wihtout having to shell out an additional $1500 in order to continue using a $500 iPad and update the apps I have?I've tried it, but it will only accept an ID in the new format, i.e., an email address. When I try to enter codes for digital movie downloads it tells me "code redemption is temporarily unavailable. Try again later." Customer support has been no help. Anyone else have this problem?
Am sick of going back and forth with what has turned out to be worthless customer support. Have sent them so much info and pictures, no help. All they do is send me links for instructions on how to redeem the codes. I know how to redeem, I have redeemed at least 50 codes. To them I am obviously an idiot though. To me it seems to be a problem on their end, but can't get an answer from them on why it is telling me code redemption is unavailable. Please help! Anybody!Confirming my suspicions with every passing hour. Support on this forum is non-existent like the support from Apple support. But, you got my money now... why would you care?

Purchase Orders - Updating Line Items After a Portion Has Been Received
Is there any way to make a line item editable on a purchase order if only a portion of it has been received?
Basically, our company will create a Purchase Order in SAP, which goes to our office in Hong Kong to arrange shipment. These Purchase orders will, many times, have multiple items listed at, let's say, 10,000 pieces each. Each of the items may ship on different dates due to our request for different dates or due to limited container space. So really...each item on the Purchase Order is like a "mini purchase order"... as I like to call it.
So, when we have a situation where only 5,000 of a specified item has been sent, we create a Goods Receipt for that amount...making that line item un-editable on the Purchase Order.
I would like for it to be editable so that I can add/change the the "Status Update" column I created (this is for our sales reps to be able to determine when product should be arriving).
The only solution I can think of is readjusting the quantities right when we know they will be split...so by the time they arrive (usually a month after they are shipped from Hong Kong), the quantities are already separated out in the system.
Only thing is, I have to be REALLY careful not to mess up the original order...or confuse things.
Any suggestions??There is a good reason that a line item will become non-editable on a purchase order if a portion of it has been received.
Do not fight with system. If possible, change the order to small one from the beginning. That would be much better.

I upgraded my machine to Win7 x64 Pro about 3 weeks ago. My HW is an Asus mobo, Intel Q9450 w/8GB RAM. The boot drives are two Raptors configured as RAID01. All the drivers are the latest available from Intel, Asus and 3rd party vendors. My WEI is 5.9, limited by the disk transfer rates, otherwise 7.1 and 7.2 on the other indexes.

As suggested above I assume this is a microsoft issue? It has been discussed here and other forums for quite some time. I never have seen a fix? I wish when we received errors of this nature microsoft would tell us what they were. How is this related to superfetch? What is superfetch? Why would superfetch have changed?
BY THE WAY.... Superfetch is on(started) is on automatic and logs on as local system. So this is not the cause of my issue. Also what is readyboot? Does the average computer really know what these programs/services or unique microsoft words/terms are?

How do I open a Numbers file sent to me that has been converted to Excel? I already have MS office for Mac, but nothing comes up when I click on the imported file.
If it indeed has been converted from Numbers to Excel, it will have a .xlsx suffix at the end of the name. Do a Get Info on the file if the suffix doesn't show. Else, it may still be in Numbers format and be unreadable by Excel.
If it is in the right format, and you don't want to have to do what mende1 has instructed above for every successive file, click on the "Always open with..." option. That will associate the .xlsx suffix to Excel from thereon. -

First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted. You can use the steps in this article:

If the remaining songs do not download after following the steps in that article, I recommend trying to download the songs from your list of past purchases. 1. It means that the current software is installed.
2. It's not something you should try to fix.
3. Verifying and repairing permissions shouldn't be done as routine tasks.

Can you print from an iPad 2 using 3G in a home with no other computer or wifi by using an iPhone 5 hot spot connection if the printer has been set up in another place with live wifi? I know this question is loaded but my dad lives in a rural area and is wanting a printer to use occasionally. He doesn't want to deal with a computer and I keep his iPad updated for him at my home. In that case, it should be possible. I haven't tried this directly, but I believe it should work.
You'll need to get an actual AirPrint compatible Printer.

Once you have the compatible printer, using the Hotspot feature from the iPhone he'll have to create the Wifi bubble form the iPhone, and connect the Printer to that Wifi network.
Then connect the iPad to that same Wifi network provided by the iPhone. When all that is done, the printer should appear in any of the Apps that can Print under the Action Arrow button.
For instance in email, pressing the action arrow should show a Print option. In there the printer should appear.
Alternatively you can simply buy a wireless router and setup the network through there even if there is no internet attached. Connect the wireless printer to the router network, and connect the iPad or iPhone to that same wifi network to print. -

I'm not sure how the sContainerLocation parameter has been set correctly for the top lever container and the sub level (child containers). What i intended to do is crawl all documents (all have a unique ID) into Plumtree portal. I plan to set the parent folder ObjectID as a datasource parameter. Can anyone please tell me how to use the "parent folder ObjectID" in those 2 methods.

For the top-level container, set parent folder Object ID equal to CrawlerConstants.TAG_PATH. I've only configured this via a custom SCI page in the Crawler admin object, so I'm not sure if it will work as a setting in the Data Source as you wish to do. You can try it in the data source and if it doesn't work, then try it in the Crawler. When set correctly, the portal will automatically call attachToContainer with sContainerLocation equal to whatever value you have for TAG_PATH.
For child containers, just set the sLocation in the ChildContainer equal to the folder ObjectID and the portal will use that as the value for sContainerLocation on its subsequent attachToContainer calls.

I am on Oracle 11.1.1.7 BPM suite on W8 64 bit. I can't launch the flow trace and get the error "Unable to get the composite instance for the invocation. This could be because instance has not yet been created or because the audit level for the SOA infra has been set to Off". I have set the audit level to development at the soa-infra>SOA Administration> Common Properties > Audit level set to development and Capture Composite Instance State is Checked.
Can somebody advice.

Log in to the EM console, Expand soa-infra (soa_server1) , go to the partition where your composite is been deployed, Click on your composite, On the right, click on the dropdown Settings and choose Composite Audit Level. you can choose to set the Audit Level for this composite. If you choose Inherit, it will take the settings to what the server is being set to. Otherwise, we can override it by choosing Off, Production, or Development.
Make sure your setting for that composite is not Off, keep inherit or production or development.
