Outlook add-in breaks sending emails

I'm loving my new iPhone 6. But my newly installed iCloud add-in for Outlook 2010 on my Windows 8.1 PC is causing some difficulties.
I can't send email, most of the time. This problem started when I installed iCloud, and stopped when I disabled the iCloud plug-in in Outlook. It's random; some emails I can send, but most, not. And, I'm not the first to have this problem and it's been going on for years, apparently. See http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/168384-outlook-2010-messages-not-sending-i n-outbox  and   http://aerobatgeek.blogspot.com/2013/08/outlook-when-i-send-email-message-it.htm l

Are your groups email enabled?
That was the problem. Thanks.

  • Outlook 2010 won't send email after a move of the .pst file.

I moved the pst file from an external drive to C:. When I restarted outlook, it asked where the file was located. After selecting the pst file in the new location, it all appeared fine. The mail was there and could be read and new mail was received. However,
it was soon discovered that the outbox was piling up and no mail could be sent. I have tried creating a new profile as suggested in other help articles, but this simply created a new and different pst and mail structure. How can I get the old one to be
    able to send mail again?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi,
What type of account are you using? POP3 or IMAP?
You mentioned you created a new profile to setup the account, can you send emails with the new profile?
If issue persists, some security program and firewall may cause the sent mail stuck in Outbox issue, please disable the firewall and anti-virus program to test the result again.
We can also run Outlook in Safe Mode to determine if 3rd-party add-ins caused this issue:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
If there’s no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.
In case the .pst file was damaged during the move, we can also run scanpst.exe to repair the .pst file, test if this helps:

    Any clues on a fix?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your question.
This issue might occurs due to lots of reasons. Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook? If yes, please try to disable it, and then try again. You might opt to uninstall the virus scanner temporarily to make
sure it will not interfere the testing.
Also, lots of Office crash issues are caused by third-party add-ins. You might want to have a check and see if you have any integrated with your Outlook client which might cause the issue.
Since the issue occurs randomly ("Two are three times a week"), Office
Safe Mode will not be effective here, just manually disable all third-party add-ins in Outlook FILE>Options>Ass-Ins, use outlook for a period of time, then verify result.

  • Outlook 2003 will not send emails with itunes running

Has anyone been subject to this issue? While running itunes, I can not send emails. I have to shut itunes down and then the email can be sent. I run XP Pro and have Outlook 2003. Itunes is updated whenever an upgrade is avaialable.

I'm seeing that same problem on my computer. I've tried looking all over for solutions, but so far I haven't found anything. The only workaround I've found is to hit Alt-s to send the message instead of pressing the send button.

  • Outlook 2013 suddenly stopped sending email

good morning and happy new year.
my outlook suddenly stopped sending emails. I can still receive emails. but no luck sending. I've added a new account to my outlook and that one sends/receives fine. I have the email on my phone it sends and receives fine. I've tried uninstalling than reinstalling

    Happy New Year.
Without the detail information of your email accounts, it is difficult to move on. Could you please tell the type of you email account, Exchange, POP3, IMAP or Live account? If it is an Internet account, please detail the email provider, like Gmail, Yahoo
    or else.
The following link is some common troubleshoot steps for sending and receiving messages issues
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286040
In most cases this scenario happens if the sending message is stuck in the Outbox somehow, what we could next do is to identify the cause why it would happen.
    1. Is there any large message remain in the outbox folder?
    2. Authentication problem or simply password expired.
    3. The sending message is called by another application like mailscanner?
Our MVP Diane has written an useful article that talking about this:

  • ICal "add invitees" not sending email notifications

What is supposed to be the behaviour of iCal event invites?  I've never used it because it didn't seem to send email notifications and I never recieved any email notifications from people inviting me.  I would just see a grey dotted event in my iCal and I'd have to open it to see who invited me.  Also, when inviting people is there a way to use a default email that you are inviting from?  I have 4 email addresses and I can't seem to find any way to tell it to email from one specific email.

  • Outlook 2010 can't send email

When installing a mail account on my laptop, outlook creates 2 accounts and 2 data files. when I try to delete one account, outlook says its in use...
I receive email and when outlook send a test message it sends the test message successfully. The problem is when I click send new email, I get the following message:
cannot create the e-mail message because a data file to send and receive messages cannot be found...
When I check the files they are there, one is selected as default. It all seems to be proper except for there are two accounts. I deleted both accounts and reinstalled a single account. Outlook doubled them again??
    Please help

    Hi,
Based on my research, this issue is more likely caused by Outlook profile corruption. We may try to recreate the mail profile and then reconfigure your email account in the new mail profile to see the result. To do this, please follow:
    1. Go to Control Panel, locate and click Mail (32- bit).
    2. Click Show Profiles button to open the Mail dialog.
    3. Click Add, type a name for the profile, and then click
    OK.
    4. Reconfigure your new account in the new profile and then change the "Always use this profile" option to the new profile you created.
For detailed information, you can refer to this article:

  • Outlook 2011: Can't send emails with one account?

    Hi,
I can't send any emails with one of my accounts on outlook 2011 even though I can receive emails. To clarify, I've never been able to send any emails from this account with Outlook 2011; I always have to go on the internet to do that. My main account works

  • Outlook 2011 unable to send emails

After installing Safari update 5.0.4 Outlook for Mac 2011 can no longer create new emails or reply. Spent 20 minutes on phone with Microsoft and they say the in some cases the install of 5.0.4 creates this issue. They say installing Safari on top of the current install will not work. I have downloaded the new version to my desktop, but now need to uninstall the 5.0.4 update done earlier.
How do I do a complete uninstall of Safari 5.0.4
Microsoft insists that just installing over the current version will not fix the issue. I have verified that they are correct.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Try deleting Safari cookies. Click Safari / Preferences from the menu bar then select the Security tab. Click: Show Cookies. Delete all Microsoft / Hotmail Cookies.
Empty the Safari cache, from the menu bar, Safari / Empty Cache.
Now open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities). Select Passwords on the left. Delete your Hotmail keychain. You can use the search field top right corner of the KA window.
Relaunch Safari. go back to Safari / Preferences then select the Autofill tab. Make sure: User names and passwords is selected. Try Hotmail.
You may be better off setting up your Hotmail account using the Mac Mail.

  • Two Exchange email accounts in Outlook - one doesn't send correctly

Hello. I currently have two Exchange email accounts added to my Outlook 2010.  The second email is shared by a fellow coworker.  Since I added the second account, I've received synchronization errors in my Unread folder.  Normally,
I've ignored these as there wasn't any actual functionality errors with Outlook.
Once in a blue moon though, the sync errors stop and I'm no longer able to email from/as that second email.  Instead, it simply gets stuck in the Outbox where it never actually goes through.  In the past, I've done a mish-mash of using the Repair
Tool on both OST files and clearing offline items for both Inboxes.
I was never actually sure if either of the above methods was the actual fix but Outlook eventually let me send emails again from the second account (and once more resuming the flow of synchronization errors).  Now though, it seems like neither
of those remedies actually work anymore.
I've searched online to no avail of what might be the cause of this.  Is anyone familiar with what might be going on?  I'm guessing part of the issue is because the second email is shared between two people and across multiple devices?

    Hi,
What synchronization errors have you received? The only thing I can think of on Exchange side is
Open Item Limit or Session Limits.
On outlook client side, this issue can be caused by numbers of possibilities such as Addins/the outlook profile.
And your two methods (clearing offline items will clear items from local .ost file) are related to OST files, so I suggest to create a new .ost file and synchronize the folders by the following steps:
    Exit Outlook.
In Control Panel, click or double-click Mail.
On the E-mail tab, select the Exchange account, and then click
    Change.
Clear the Use Cached Exchange Mode check box.
    Click More Settings.
On the Advanced tab, click Offline Folder File
    Settings.
Click Disable Offline Use, and then in the dialog box that appears, click
    Yes.
Again, click Offline Folder File Settings.
    Click OK.
In the dialog box that appears, click Yes.
Under Cached Exchange Mode Settings, select the Use Cached Exchange Mode check box.
Click OK, click Next, and then click
    Finish.
In the Account Settings and Mail Setup dialog boxes, click
    Close.
Start Outlook, point to Send/receive on the Tools menu, and then click
    Send/Receive All.
In addition, we should check this issue via OWA.
Also make sure that your account is not downloading the cache of the shared mailbox. Go to
account settings in outlook, more settings ->
advanced tab and uncheck download shared folders. Restart Outlook.
If this issue persists next time, I suggest to post on
Outlook Forum for more professional help about Outlook client side issue.
    Best Regards.
