Outlook keeps adding appointments and alarms for no reason

I'm running Office 2010 and Outlook 2010 and Windows 7. Yesterday my system did an auto upgrade. Since then my calendar adds these phantom appointments and alarms me of a pending meeting in 15 minutes. This continuously occurs for no reason and I can't get
it to stop. I did a system restore to get back to the version prior to the upgrade but it stills occurs I ran troubleshoot Outlook through the control Panel and this didn't help.

Please try to restart Outlook by running Outlook /cleansniff to deletes duplicate reminder messages and running Outlook /cleanreminders to clears and regenerates reminders. If it doesn’t work, please check whether the issue happens in Outlook Online mode
and webmail client.
If the issue doesn’t happen in webmail but happen in Outlook Online mode, please disable any related third party programs and start Outlook in safe mode to have a try. If the issue doesn’t continue in Online mode, please create a new Outlook profile to have
a try.

PINWHEEL! Keeps popping up and slowing for no reason...

Anytime I am in safari or mail, the progress indicator will pop up for no reason and slow the show down for no reason! I have office installed, but never really use it, and only usually run safari, mail and itunes all at once.
I ran disk utility and came up with nada. Rebooted after removing the battery and holding down "C"...

If the network is involved with the pinwheel, I generally find that it is a broken DNS server. While I prefer using the DNS servers from my ISP, if I experience problems, I generally give the OpenDNS server a try:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
As an experiment, try entering these DNS server addresses in your Network System Preferences. If they do not work, you can always remove them and go back to the settings the way they were when you started.
NOTE: The first DNS server address is the most important, as name lookups will always wait for the first server to timeout before trying the 2nd server, so you want a reliable first server.

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. You will have to delete the apps from the phone and re-purchase them using your Apple ID.

My daughter and I both have iphones. I created an account (not separate itunes) for her on my computer so she could sync her phone/itunes but not have it interfere with mine since we have WAY different taste in music. Creating a different computer profile should work if you have separate itunes accounts, too.
If you all use the same itunes account, you can turn on Home Sharing. That way you can all download the same content without having to pay for it again. Not sure how or if that works with separate itunes accounts.

How can I fix iCal that keeps popping up and asking for my ID

ICal keeps popping up and asking for me to make sure my password and ID are entered correctly. I have been up on my accounts and done this endless times. I have a POP account that I want to add to the list of accounts under ICal's preferences, but I'm stuck when it keeps telling me that it can find my POP server, but the ID doesn't work. I've tried every ID I ever had and it still doesn't work. How can I fix this?

Thats the issue right there. POP is for email, not for calendars. Remove that pop account from the accounts are of iCal.
You would add a POP account to the Mail application to get emails.

Apps are always associated with the Apple ID that was used to purchase them. This cannot be changed. To avoid getting the request you are seeing delete all apps that request the former Apple ID and download them again.
Any apps for which you paid a fee will require that you purchase them again.

Yes, you will still get the prompt.
I meant reset then try the recovery mode restore again.
You can also try DFU Mode.
DFU (Device Firmware Update) Mode is different than Recovery Mode.
DFU Mode is a special mode where the device can still interface with iTunes, yet it does not load the iBoot bootloader.
DFU Mode:
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
NOTE: Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present. Be patient, it make take several trys.

Computer > C: > Program Files
Delete the Oberon Games File
If you have a Program Files (x86), delete it there, too.
Reboot.

If it is still inside the one year warranty you can make an appointment at the local genius bar and they will replace it, if they cannot solve it.

My RSS Feeds in Outlook link to articles online and today for no reason I keep getting url fail messages in outlook. Somehow the two aren't communicating correctly anymore. Any thoughts?

Today or over the weekend, for no reason that I can tell, all of the links in my email (just checked that too) and my RSS feeds no longer link to FireFox. The following error appeared in Outlook "General Failure. URL:... An error occured in sending the command to the application." I'm not sure if it's Outlook or Firefox but this just happened for no reason that I could tell and I'm not computer savvy enough to go in to Outlook and figure all this out. It's worked with no issue for well over a year. The only recent change to Firefox I've made is to add an Amazon wish list toolbar...which I'm not even sure how to delete if that's the issue...but I'm not sure that it didn't work after installing that add-on. I've made no recent changes to Outlook (2007).

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them.
