Hi,
From your description, OWA works well, only Outlook and android phone can't receive emails normally. Then the configuration of Exchange server side is ok. I recommend you use Exchange online mode on Outlook to check the result. If Outlook works well using
Exchange online mode, you need to create a new profile.
If the issue persists, please use Outlook safe mode to determine whether the problem is caused by add-ins.
Hope it helps.

  • Unable to send or receive email while on a call

iPhone 4S displays a data connection error when trying to send or receive email while on a call.
According to this article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4069 this problem should have been solved in IOS 5.0.1. I'm using IOS 5.1 and still getting the very same error. Can anyone explain me what should I do?

Miss this part of that support article?:
"When using iPhone 4S on a CDMA or 2G network, simultaneous voice and cellular data are not supported."

Im having massive issues with my email... I cant receive emails for my work email... was working perfectly and now just wont connect, i assume that I need to use my home wifi as the outgoing server?? Please help

For your work email, do you use a well known server or do you use their own server? Their server IMAP and SMTP addresses might of changed or you entered them in wrong. It might be something with your router but unless you blocked every incoming connection, then it should work. I would talk to your tech guys at work to see if it is on their end.
Hope this helped a bit, Sean

  • After accepting the carrier update yesterday my iPhone 5s will not receive emails via my work Exchange system.

After accepting the carrier update yesterday my iPhone 5s will not receive emails via my work Exchange system.  I can send emails, but can not receive.  I deleted my account and added it back with the directed provided by our Corporate IT, but I still can't receive emails.  I've hard booted and soft booted my phone several times to no avail.  What else can I do to help remedy this situation?

I don't have any other email accounts on my phone and I don't get any type of error message.  It just says "Checking for Mail" and I receive nothing, so I know that it is accessing my work email system.  I haven't made any changes to my account.  I only accepted the message to update my carrier system.....I do have an appointment with the local Verizon store to see if they can help.
Just FYI, my Exchange email account still works on my iPad, so I'm pretty sure the settings are correct.

  • Re: Clients on Outlook cannot connect - email does not work but OWA does work

    Hi all,
Having some weird issues with the exchange server after I sorted out my SSL certs.
So I created my new certs signed by godaddy and now I can connect via OWA without issues.
However connecting via outlook doesn't work and using owa I can see that I can't send or receive emails.
Where can I start looking here?
The weird thing is that doing the test on testconnectivity.microsoft.com it comes up stating that the connectivity on port 443 was successful...
But then further down the page it states the exact opposite - "The specified port is either blocked, not listening, or not producing the expected response"
    Thoughts?

    Hi,
Before we go further, I’d like to confirm the detail result of your ExRCA test.
And to narrow down the cause, I’d like to confirm the following information:
    1. Check your certificate configuration: get-exchangecertifictae |fl
    2. Outlook Anywhere configuration: get-outlookanywhere |fl
    3. Check Autodiscover service: get-clientaccessserver |fl autodiscoverserviceinternaluri
    Directly access the URL:
    https://autodiscover.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

  • Not receiving email from my work email address.

    Hey Everyone,
Normally it would be a blessing but I cannot send emails to my icloud/me account from my work email address.
This was working last Thursday morning but then stopped working towards the afternoon. I have tried sending a test email with a send receipt but even the test email is not working. I have spoken to our technicians at work and they have confirmed that all mail have left our email server.
Emails from other sources that are being sent to my icloud/me account are working.
Has anyone ever had this problem?
    Thank you in advance.

Perhaps your work's domain address is being incorrectly identified and filtered out as spam. If that were the case you would need to contact iCloud support for assistance.  (See "Troubleshooting false positives here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4899.)

  • "Receive Email Notifications" not working correctly?

Not a Snow Leopard question, but I don't know where else to post this.
I seem to be receiving email notifications for * every * topic in this forum.  My email notification preferences are set for only limited notifications -- i.e., threads I want to follow.
Since I don't want to turn notifications completely 'off,' how do I get Apple to correct this?
    Thanks.

There is a Discussions topic, but I'm not sure where it's at.
In the forums, click on your name; that will take you to your profile.
Click on Edit Preferences in the "Actions" box on the right side of the page.
Click on the "Email Notification Preferences" tab and set them up how you'd like.
    Save the preferences.
Then, go back to the first page of your profile (click on you name, again)
    Click on Manage Email Notifications.
Select all by clicking the Checkbox in the header.
    Delete them all.

  • Only send and receive emails while connecetd to Desktop Manager, wireless how?

    Hello,
We have a user taht we are trying to setup with our BES server. The Wireless sync did not work so we are trying to do it manually through DM. We have got as far as getting the syncronizatiobn to be done while he is connected with the USB cable. But how we can do so this is done wirelesly.
By looking at your helpfull forum I know I have to be tinkering with some short of options. Any documentation link will be very helpfull.
    Thank you very much,
    Carlos Cavia

    Greetings
I suspect that the issue is the SMTP server settings. On your home network you are using your providers SMTP server and all is fine (If you check your email account configs you will find that the SMTP server is set to your providers?).
When you use a different network (provider) mail will not be sent unless you use that networks (providers) SMTP server (this is a security issue to address ways of "spamming").
So if youre 3G/4G provider is the same as you home provider all will work well via your home WiFi. If you turn off WiFi and just use your 3G/4G connection to send mail (iPhone/iPad etc) all will work well (when you are out and about and using anothers WiFi network).
If you are connected to, say a MacDonalds WiFi, mail will probably not be sent. (It will be received though).
Using WEB mail interface (via your WEB browser) removes this problem as well.
(A SMTP server is what is used to send email. So to successfully use anothers (not a networks the same as your providers) WiFi network and send email via it, you must know the SMTP servers name and reconfigure your email account/s to use that server to send mail.)

  • TS3899 iphone 4S doesnt send / receive email while on Cellular network, any help?

even though all other apps and safari are active ! while on wifi it works but still i have to manually retrieve while all my settings are on PUSH. tried all classic solutions, from hard reset to removing and readding the email accounts
    any help?

You need to make sure you are using a generic SMTP server address. most ISP's block other 3rd party carrier SMTP addresses. Best bet is use Google's SMTP address.
of course you need to have POP enabled in gmail and an account.
    smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
    Use Authentication: Yes
    Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587
    Port for SSL: 465

  • Can i receive email from my work lotus notes account with out installing lotus notes

    Hi
Can i receive my work email to my mac with out installing lotus notes on it

A new development: I've tried sending emails from the alias several times over the past 24 hours, but in general I've deleted them if they haven't sent within about half an hour.
However, one of the messages I left sitting in the outbox did send successfully in the end, but this took about an hour.
So: perhaps my problem is not in fact that I am completely unable to send mail from my alias, but that I can only do so intermittently and extremely slowly, and by ignoring the "cannot send" message.
    Any help appreciated.

  • Coexistence Exchange 2007 and 2013 - Clients on 2013 cant connect to Outlook, OWA works fine

    Hi
We are currently running all our users on Exchange 2007. I've installed Exchange 2013 on another hardware following several guides on coexistence between 2007 and 2013.
I'm now testing with a few test users I've migrated from 2007 to 2013.
Everything was working fine until I messed up with something. It's either the certificates and/or Exchange Web Services and/or activating Outlook Anywhere.
Now, all my tests users on Exchange 2013 can connect and send/receive emails on OWA, but Outlook clients cannot connect to Exchange server.
When I start Outlook, I get the error Unable to open the default mail folders
When I try to create a new Outlook profile, I get the error: "The action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action"
When I click on Check Name, I get: "The name cannot be resolved. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action"
Thanks for any help you could provide
    Martin

    Changed the
    ExternalClientAuthenticationMethod  for the 2007 server.
Output for  Get-OutlookAnywhere | fl *method*
    ExternalClientAuthenticationMethod : Ntlm
    InternalClientAuthenticationMethod : Ntlm
    IISAuthenticationMethods           : {Basic, Ntlm, Negotiate}
    ExternalClientAuthenticationMethod : Ntlm
    InternalClientAuthenticationMethod : Ntlm
    IISAuthenticationMethods           : {Basic, Ntlm, Negotiate}
Now everytime I try to create an Outlook profile whose mailbox is on Exchange 2013 it's
    asking for credentials.
If I dig further and try to manually configure server settings:
If I specify the Exchange 2013 server and try a 'Check
Name', it says: "Outlook cannot log on. Verify you are connected to the network and are using the proper server and mailbox name. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."
If I specify the Exchange 2007 server and try a 'Check
Name', the server changes for the fqdn of the 2013 server and it does resolve 'Check Name' process. Clicking on Next at this point completes the 'Add new e-mail account wizard". But is I try to start Outlook, I got an error saying "Microsoft Exchange is unavailable"
Any other thoughts on this issue?
    Thanks,
    Martin

  • TS3899 Receiving emails stopped working.

Sending and receiving emails was working fine, but receiving emails suddenly stopped working. Can still send email ok.

    Masa,
Thanks for the reply. But this can not be issue as the approver is getting the email when the cart is created. It is the reminder email (sent after 3 days) and second reminder (sent after 5 days) is not being sent. We are not able to see the same in SOST transaction.
If the server issue would be there, then none of the email could be sent to any approver.
Correct me if I am wrong
