The Share Point server is running SP 2010 SP2 and the Exchange server is EX 2007 SP 3 I am not sure what roll up. it looks like their is a permissions issue. But could it be permissions with in SP or EX? You help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Hi ,
Towards the public folder permission issue, there are two permissions included, one is for the server side permission; the other one is for the client side permission.
There are some links for your reference:

To use Outlook Web App Web Parts, you must, at a minimum, be delegated "Reviewer" access to the content that you're opening. If you've embedded an Outlook Web App Web Part that requires authentication into
an application, you must pass authentication information through together with the request for the Web Part.
For more information, you can refer to the article:

I get the error "Cannot use adobe reader to view pdf in your web browser. Reader will now exit. Please exit your browser and try again" in Windows 7 x32 and Windows 7 x64 with Acrobat pro 8.1.7. This happens when trying to open a PDF file in Internet explorer 8.0.760 or when I open a PDF in Quickbooks 2008. If I answer ok or cancel the file opens normally. If I open acrobat 8 first then the pdf files open as expected. I also tried a copy of Acrobat reader with no difference in the outcome. Since this happens on two different computers one fresh copy of windows 7 x64 the other an upgrade to windows 7 x32 and they used to work before the change to windows 7, I assume there is some kind of incompatibility with windows 7 and acrobat. Is this a known issue and will it be fixed in an update to acrobat in the near future?
tvandersluijs - I'm sorry if that screwed up your machine however:
1. What version of Adobe Reader are you using because as you can see the registry entry is for Adobe Reader 9, if ur using Adobe Reader 8 then u need to specify ur version as PAllens entry suggested - "E.g. "C:\Program files\Adobe\Acrobat [version]\Reader\AcroRd32.exe""
2. I've used this solution significantly because I have come across this specific issue for multiple users.
3. All the registry entry does is tell Windows what program to use by default to open/view PDF documents.
My intention wasn't to screw up ur machine or anybody elses as I said I've used this solution many times however what I've should gave is the disclaimer to backup ur registry before u make mods so u can revert back in case. Also the ony other thing I can think of is that this solution was for Windows XP using registry editior 5, I'm noticing that the title of this thread is Windows 7. -
Cannot View PDF in Web Browser error
Using windows XP sp3 has adobe reader 9 on it...
Installing Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro extended was trouble prone enough, but now there is more...
When trying to open a PDF in a browser window, you get the following dialog error message (sample site:http://support.apple.com/manuals/#iphone)
"The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a Web Browser.
Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Please exit and try again."
For the cost of this program, I expected better. The above was not a problem before installing Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro extended.
Please advise.
Thanks
bobI did a google search and found a fix that was a bunch of registry entries that worked for me:
Ted Neubauer, "Reader 9 won't open PDF from web browser" #15, 15 Jul 2008 7:47 am
It is just anoying to spend this kind of money on a piece of software and have so many problems out of the box.
Yes, I have run the updater software.
What is the phone number for adobe support?
Thanks

AlexandreHi,
I have seen this same error before. That issue resolved by Exchange 2010 SP3 RU7.
So please refer to KB 2961522
and install Update Rollup 7 for Exchange 2010 SP3 to solve this issue.
Best Regards.

Cannot use Adobe Reader to view PDF in web browser error
I have a new computer and have Acrobat Pro installed. When I try to click on PDF links in browsers, I get an error:
Cannot use Adobe Reader to view PDF in web browser.
I want to be able to open these links using Acrobat Pro. What can I do in Internet Explorer so I don't always receive these errors, and so pdfs automatically open using Acrobat Pro?
SteveBecause it was not designed for Windows 7 doesn't mean it cant run.
If you install the applications as administrator, you shouldn't have problems. I have installed both Reader and Pro versions on Windows 7 32 and 64 bit without problems, as long as I did it as administrator. You right click on the setup and select Run as Administrator. You don't need to do it for updates if you go through the update option on the help panel. -
When I try to log into Web Acess I receive and error that states that "Your web browser is configured not to run script or doesn't support script in Web pages. Check your browser settings or use a browser that can run script."
What do I do??? My employer is the State of Virginia so they do not allow email to be downloaded to a Blackberry due to security of content concerns....so the only way I know of to get to my email is to go through web access.
Thanks!Your browser does not support scripts.
Try to install and use OperaMini browser.
It is free.
You can get it here: http://www.operamini.com

Html/exe/web browser errors
Hi, When opening certain <g class="gr_ gr_454 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="454" id="454">exe</g>. or trying to install programs I get notification windows opening saying
cannot connect to this site, and do I want to save this download. When trying to install flash for instance it's now impossible because these notices have taken the place of the real installer. The same with gmail notifier and others. I had to turn it off as
I was getting continuous cannot download this file errors, and cannot connect to the web browser. Which of course I don't want to do anyway! I have done the obvious.<g class="gr_ gr_920 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace"
data-gr-id="920" id="920">Adw</g> cleaner, Malwarebytes and re-registered and repaired file associations. Still stuck and I'm totally perplexed.Hi,
What's does your meaning by "<g class="gr_ gr_454 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="454" id="454">exe</g>. "? I'm a bit confused with your description, it would be better
to provide a screenshot for your problem.
If this is just Browser problem, you can try to reset IE for test.
Internet Options->Settings->Advanced->Reset
After that, restart your computer to check if the problem resolved.

Please install a web browser error when generating htm documents
Hello,
I have looked through the forums and did find some ideas to try to fix this issue but none have worked so far. One idea was to go into the Windows folder options and make sure that htm and html files are assoiciated with Internet Explorer. I looked into this and IE was already set as the default application to open htm/html files. Just for grins I looked in the control panel's program access and defaults and confirmed the primary web browser was also set to IE.
A bit of background...
Windows XP pro machine, with RH 8. Also, using IE 8 with the lastest updates applied. Also, I can generate other smaller RH projects from this PC and other PCs can generate the project I'm having trouble with. So I am fairly certain the problem is not the PC or the project in question. A Windows problem maybe??
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
-WagstaffHello again
Odd that it failed to work for you. Seems it's worked for all others in the past but there's always a time when a magick cure won't, eh?
What you posted gives me pause to wonder if you understood what I suggested. You seem to have simply performed a test using a notepad document. What I suggested was to re-associate .HTM files so that when you double-clicked them to open, Notepad opened instead of the browser.
One thing I neglected to mention was that you should probably close RoboHelp before doing the unassociate/reassociate hokey pokey. RoboHelp has places in the registry too.
Cheers... Rick

I don't know whether or not your suggestions would have worked, but I did solve my problem. I eventually figured out that the file, overlay.xul, was doing something and when I changed the filename, the bar went away.
I was reading that the xul error usually meant something wrong with an extension, but that didn't make sense because after uninstalling/reinstalling, there were no extensions present, on an assumption, of course. I noticed a file through a search, and it was located in a folder without a mozilla/firefox name in it, looked like a randomly generated folder name. I looked in the extensions. ini and noticed it pointed to that overlay.xul file in that random named folder and thought, what the hell, and just renamed the overlay.xul file to something else and the problem went away.
Thanks again. -
Cannot update profile in web browser, Error: "Oops...
Using my Microsoft live account and after I login via the browser when I try to update any informaton in my profile I am prompted for my password, and when I click submit it give me an error "Oops, that wasn't the right password. Try again.' when my password is correct??? Im wondering if it has something to do with using a microsoft live account? I am not sure. Any help on this matter would be great.. Tks
I can't update anything on my web profile page. Changed my password okay but when I hit the 'edit' anywhere on the page, it pops to the top of the page every time. I have the latest skype version. I added a new email address and tried to edit so I could make it my primary one, but there are no options to click to do that. Am I the only one having update issues? Maddening to say the least! I'm new to forums or bloggy things and hope I'm contacting an Admin person and if not, forgive me. Uff

Exchange 2013 CU5 - Outlook Web Access - Error 9646 with HTTP - No error with HTTPS
Hello everyone
i have a strange issue which i actually do not have an idea about what is going wrong.
- Exchange 2013 CU5
- SSL Offloading enabled - Virtual directories configured accordingly
When a user logs in to OWA via HTTP - after a while he sees the inbox but does not see any mail details.
He only sees "Error: Your request can't be completed right now. Please try again later."
After a while i also get an eventlog "9646" with too many open OWA sessions for that user.
Regardless which limit i set in the registry for this - the error does come back - even with 512 sessions allowed.
Working with HTTPS instead of HTTP then EVERYTHING works fine ... ?
Any idea on this?
Actually i am totally lost ...
Best regards
Jörg
