Output type RD00 Error sending email "External Send"

Hello friends,
There is an output type RD00 for Invoice. It sends two outputs Print out and Mail. Print out work fine but Mail is running into errors.
actual error msgs are here below:
1. Please enter the address number
2. Communication type cannot be used
there is a zprogram configured against "External Send" in output type. I am trying to debug it but it doesn't stop the break point.
Need help in this regard and appreciated.

After triggering the output,goto T.Code SOST and process it.
So that e-mail will be triggered immediately.
You can use External send/EDI/simple mail for this.
First of all the email service should be confirgued by basis team. Second you need to create Y3 partner to send electronic invoice. That can be created in customer master and also you have to specify email address in customer master. once this is done then set up output conditon record for RD00 to spit out electronic invoice in VV31.

At the time of output determination,the archiving parameters for output type RD00(application V3) were incorrectly maintained in customizing.

Can you check what you have in the Storage System Tab in the fields Storage Mode and Document Type.
It should be Print Only and SDOINVOICE respectively.

My requirement was to copy the Std SAP Script for the output type RD00 and application name V3 and to do some modification.
Please any one suggest me how to find the Std SAP script based on the above Output type and Appl ?

The script Name is LB_BIL_INVOICE
You can find byNACE>V3>Output Types>RD00-->Processing Routines
In thje output type Press Change button and select New entries.

Send purchase order via email (external send) with special Czech characters

Hi all,
I am sending a purchase order created with ME21N via email to the vendor using "external send".
The mail is delivered without any problems, PO is attached to the mail as PDF file.
Problem is that special Czech characters as "ž" or "u0161" are not displayed, a "#" (hash) appears instead.
This problem occurs when language for PO output = EN.
Tests with language = CS worked out fine, but the whole form incl. all texts are in Czech as well; so no valid solution since it needs to be in English.
We checked SAPCONNECT configuration and raised note 665947; this is working properly.
When displaying the PO (ME23N) special characters are shown correctly as well.
Could you please let me know how to proceed with that issue?!

No, it's not a Unicode system.
It is maintained as:
Tar. Lang. Lang. Output Format Dev. type
Format
PDF EN English PDF1
Using this option, character "ž" was not displayed correctly, but "Ú" was ok.
All other Czech special characters are not tested so far.

SCOT: When email status error, send email to sender

Hello everyone
I would like to know if it is possible to configure SCOT to send an email to the sender when an email ending as error.
Here is the scenario.
1. An email is sent through scot.
2. SCOT process the email and comeback with an error. Example msg 841 (message too long)
3. So, when the email status is an error, an email should be sent to the sender to advise him of the problem.
So, the sender will be able to act quickly and perform corrective action.
Any idea on how to configure this?

Sorry, it is in project plan at the moment. I didn't have time to do it.
Here is some speudo code:
Select all record from SOST table where MSGTY = 'E'   " Message type Error
                                                                 and entry_date = sy-datlo
                                                                 and entry_time is between now and 15 minutes ago.
   select al record from SOOS where corresponding to SOST.
               field SOOS-sndnam correspond to the sender of the message.
    The table SOOD contain the title of the email (Field "OBJDES" )
When you have all those records.
you can send an email to the sender.

How to send email externally in the RTF format

I have quite strange problem, and I am bit afraid whether SAP supports or not? which i thought will support by default.
I need to send email out of SAP, but I need the body of the EMAIL to be formatted in RTF.
Please note we are able to convert the data into RTF and then send as an attachement with email,
But what we are looking is instead of attachment we need to send content as the mail body in the format RTF.
Please any body help on this?

Mailing Invoice through output type - Getting Error "No address exists"

Hi Experts,
I am trying to mail the invoice using out put type. I am using the standard out put type MAIL, Print program RSNASTSO and routine SAPOFFICE_AUFRUF_VX for external send 5 and using SP partner type. I maintained email address in Customer master. When I am assigning output type to send mail its failing and am getting an error as following.

Can't send email; no send button

I just got a new iMac and tried to send an email for the first time. I clicked New Message and could type a message but can't send it. No send button. By the same token, I can receive mail and reply to them because when I hit Reply I have a send button on that. What gives?

No Send button or a greyed-out, non-clickable Send button? And if you select menu item Message is there a Send item in the menu list? If it is there, can you click it?
(Note that send is not active until you have entered a recipient)

Send email default sender to match email settings of logged in user

Hi,
I was wondering how i could add this into my site.
If you look at other sites the user can put in their email settings and then view their inbox from within the site when logged in.
1st Question is: What settings do I need to store in a table for the user to setup their email settings. I assume the obvious server name, username and password.
2nd Question is: Does anyone know how to add in an email view, free would be good.
3rd Question which is the most important to addt is this: I want the user to input their email settings in their user profile page so hence need to know what settings to store in the table. From their i want to when using the addt send email SB to check the user logged in session and match the userid and use their settings to send the email.
I know how to use the recordset to get the settings of the person who has logged in as that is not too difficult but instead of using the kt default sender which you input in control panel i would want it to use the person who has logged ins email settings, how can i stop addt from using the default sender and what code would i use in my page for addt to send the email using that person email settings?

thanks for getting back to me. what i was hoping was that the user could send the email via the site suing their own email settings?
so say the domain is domain.com which the newsletter application sits on. but the user has his own domain of example.com with his own email settings.
what i have done is create a mini newsletter system using addt. i wanted to allow the user to input their own mail server settings and when it clicked send addt would use the email settings to send the email via php.
there is newsletter system like "constant contact" which you can use to send using their system however it comes into the inbox as if from the person who sent it.

Output type processing error for adobe forms

We have created one output type in NACE transaction for Application V1(Sales) and attached the Adobe form to that output type. Whevener i am creating or saving a quotation / Sales order that output type is not processesed rather it is giving an Express document error that 'Update was terminated'.
Please help me out to solve it.

i have copied an existing output type ZOCT to ZORD . when i change the sales order the output is automatically triggered but is not processed successfully instead it is in red. when i see the processing log i could see the error below.

green Output type: UK Sales Order
green Processing log for program RSNASTED routine ALE_PROCESSING
   RED   No partner profiles (message control) maintained
I tried adding communication data in VV11 but i get the below error.
No communication data has been defined for transmission medium A
Message no. VK603.
I am using ordrsp and orders05 in partner profiles and in message control tab i am giving
V1 ZORD SD10 values.
Please suggest me to correct these errors. Your help is much appreciated.Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your inputs. I have debugged the program rsnasted at routines and in EDP12 there were repeated entries .
So i deleted all the partner profiles and created and generated them agian.
I have also missed to maintain SP partner function in output type partner functions. I do not see any errors now.

Map Zsmartform to output type RD00

I have to map my zsmartform to ouput type RD00 so that it can be triggered from Invoice transactions. Currently in Nace transaction the output type is mapped to standard form. What steps do I need to do configure it to my zform?

I think you have to change the program name as well. The default for RD00 is usually RVADIN01. This is for SAPscript output.
The SAP delivered SmartForm for invoices is LB_BIL_INVOICE. It uses the print program RLB_INVOICE.
I do not know if you have created a new ABAP print program for your custom Z SmartForm. If the smartform interface is the same, you can use the standard. If not, you have to create one.
