Outsorting Check(rule) help
Hello Experts,
A new outsorting check(rule) will need to be developed to check during a final billing procedure each contract/installation's number of service days in the billing period, if the number of service days exceeds the numeric value set in the configuration table than the billing document will be placed in the billing outsort list for verification.
Please can someone explain me how work with the outsorting check is this a regular abap program or it needs to be created in somewhere else? How apply the check to the billing procedure once is done, please experts guide through this, thanks in advance.

Determination of checking Rule in sales order
Dear all,
how the checking rule is determined in sales order av.check, In the t code OPJJ we are maintained so many checking rule for one checking group, In the sales order how the system determines the checking rule,
I am expecting positive feedback from your end .
Best Regards,
KumarHi Kumar,
You will have to maintain the checking group default for Material Type & Plant in Customization.
You can assign the plant & the checking rule for processing Back order Processing.
You can set default values for the relevant sales area & the availability checking rule.
You will have to assign the requirement class to reqirement type.
Maintain the avbl. check & TOR for the relevant schedule line.
These settings need to be done for the avbl. check to be performed at the sales order level.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks & Regards

ATP Checking Rule - stock transport sch. agmnt
Hi friends,
i created a New checking rule (ZB) in <b>/NOMGP</b> - stock transfer sch. agmnt. for inter company stock transfer. i attached it with a checking group(Z0) and made scope of check. And assigned with doc type LU, supplying plant, delivery type NLCC & checking rule (ZB). the Z0 checking group is assigned in mat master in sales org/plant view.
After creating delivery (VL10*) , in dlv i am getting Checking rule as "B". so i am not getting the ATP checks as per Z0-ZB setting. (checking group is coming correctly from mat master).
<b>Can I get the checking rule ZB ??? in Delivery (environment -->availability )</b>

Hi,
please revert back , how i should create the "Check rules" for invoice plan. and cutomizing "Terms of Payment key" (tcodes).
Thanks&Regards,
BengeHi there,
Please look at the documentation on how to set up the duplicate invoice
check -
SPRO ->
MM ->
LIV ->
Incoming invoice ->
Set check for duplicate invoices
Please also see note 394316.
Please understand that the standard 'duplicate invoice check' looks at
the following fields.
1) Company code....Configurable 4) Currency.....Always checked
2) Document date...Configurable 5) Vendor.......Always checked
3) Reference.......Configurable 6) Amount.......Depending on
Reference field
Only the Company code, Document date, and Reference fields are
configurable in transaction OMRDC as to whether or not the system looks
at these three fields along with the Currency, Vendor, and Amount.
If they are checked, the duplicate invoice check considers them. If
none are checked, then the system only looks at the Currency, Vendor,
and Amount.
If you activate the reference document number in IMG,
Depending on the reference document number entry, the system checks
as follows:
1. If you have entered a reference document number, the system checks
whether the invoice matches in the following attributes:
Company code
Vendor
Currency
Invoice date
Reference document number
2. If you have not entered a reference document number, the system
checks whether the invoice matches in the following attributes:
Company code
Vendor
Currency
Invoice date
Amount in document currency
Depending on the system settings, a warning message or an error
message appears if the system finds an invoice that matches all
attributes.
Please also keep in mind:The field Chk double inv. (Check for duplicate
invoice) must be flagged on the Accounting view in the vendor master
record.
The check is done in FM MRM_DUPLICATE_INVOICE_CHECK so you may be
able to look at it closer through the code
From release 4.7 or higher, BADI MRM_HEADER_CHECK is available to
make such check ( note 1156325).
Hope this helps.

What is the Difference between Checking Rule B and RP
Hi Experts,
Can anybody Explain the Difference between Checking Rule B and RP
in Intercompany STO (between Company Codes) which one should i be use?
in standard settings of IDES system i found B assigned to PO Type NB. but somewhere in forum i saw checking rule RP to be assigned to NB. i totally confused. please help me.
In below Assignments which one is correct.........
NB (PO Type) - 1200 (Supplying Plant) - NLCC (Delivery Type) - B (Checking Rule)
NB (PO Type) - 1200 (Supplying Plant) - NLCC (Delivery Type) - RP (Checking Rule)
Thanks in Advance,
charysd
Edited by: charysd on Aug 2, 2011 12:32 PMhi..
By default checking rule B is assigned to PO doc type...
In B...only delivery rule is considered..
while in RP..delivery time..lead time...transpotation time are added..
Hope it will help.

ATP - One Checking group for several checking rules (Trans. OPJJ)
Hello,
In my system, each control group is associated to several checking rules. So, I don't understand how the system choose the right rule to use.
IIs it normal use ? SAP Documentation and forum threads seems to speak always about one checking rule for one checking group.
Thanks for your help,
Emmanuel
Edited by: Kholargol on Oct 2, 2009 11:19 AMEmmanuel,
Just to add to what Prasobh explained on how to use different check rule 01/02 at production order level there are other checking rules that apply to SD module which is more important for defining ATP stratgey for various finished products.
So a simple sales oder for made to stock product may have checking rule A that considers existing unrestricted stock, purchase orders, production orders dates to promise against.
However a MTO sale order for made to order(MTO) product may have a check rule AE that should consider only the relevant production order and /or replenshipment lead time to promise against.
So while checking group set at material master needs many check rules specific to various Sale orders, production orders, plant mainteneance orders, or project orders.
Hope this helps in your understanding of this concept.
Thanks,

Check the settings for checking group 02 and checking rule BO
Hi,
I am doing Backorder processing for order , I am getting the error as follows,
I have checked Checking Rule For Updating Backorders. Everything ok.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
PramodOne Probable reason for you error.
Check the TC: OVZ2 whether you have ticked the Block qty req. for the Checking group 02 or you have selected No checks.
The standard setting for 02 should not have any tick..
or _Check in the TC : se38 program : SAPLOPP3.
Check whether you have defined the plants with the checking rule BO.
This must be your error._
reward points if helpful,

Checking Rule/Special Stock
Hi All,
Our requirement is to have our rush orders, order type ZRU, ignore incoming PO's so that the line will J0 error when there is no available stock in the warehouse. The scope of check allows you to uncheck "Incl. purchase orders" to accomplish this, however you cannot assign a different scope of check per sales order type.
I have tried this workaround: created item category ZRSH (copy of TAN) and maintained special stock of E in customization. I have set ZRSH to be the default item category for order type ZRU. This special stock category will have ZRSH items determine a scope of check for Z2/AE, as opposed to the regular Z2/A. The purchase order indicator was unchecked for Z2/AE.
The problem is that with the special stock E, ZRSH items are not checking regular stock batches during ATP. I have seen table T148, but do not want to start modifying this standard table. Is there a way to have this special stock E look at regular stock? Or is there another way to have a different scope of check for ZRU rush orders?
Thanks for any help,
JBibiane,
I apologize for using an undefined abbreviation. Yes, I was referring to the Apparel and Footwear solution.
The functionality (MTO/PTO) you mentioned is common to AFS, I have never seen it used in Basic ERP. I guess you are saying that you do not have the AFS addin installed into your ERP 6 system.
In general, 'A' refers to MTS and 'AE' refers to MTO. The determination of the ATP check is contained within SD order management programs, and is influenced by both master data and SD configuration. I couldn't state with any certainty that I know all the ways that ATP checking rule could possibly be determined.
You are evidently using a custom ATP check (Y5), for which I would be unable to predict the functionality. You are evidently using characteristics/classification about which I have no knowledge to determine SO behavior. You normally would pose these questions to your SD team lead, asking him how he has configured the ATP check to work.
In conclusion, the topics about which you enquire are not really BPX topics, and not topics about which I would consider myself an expert. For best responses, I suggest you close this thread, and reopen in one of the SD forums, such as
SAP ERP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD)
Sorry I can't be of more help,

E-Bus 11i Flow Rules Help
Hi I need to create a flow rule that will notify an employee's supervisor when a user updates their own employee record.
So I need to link the LAST_UPDATED_BY of the currently updated record to employee_id from FND_USER
where the FND_USER.USER_ID = <current>.LAST_UPDATED_BY
I'm looking at my Flow Rule Launch Criteria, but I cannot see how I can say....
COLUMN=LAST_UPDATED_BY
CONDITION=Equals
VALUE= <result of my SQL> <==========
It looks like I can only put specific hardcoded values in here ??
Any ideas, or examples for this type of thing?
Is my requirement clear?
Thanx
Russell FosterHi Foster
In the launch criteria you can specify under the table name FND_USER, Relationship keys would be (USER_NAME, USER_ID)
please check the check box "UPdate" uncheck "Insert"
coming to the columns enter value "LAST_UPDATE_BY" and condition "IS Update"
the value part cannot be updated.
The launch criteria created specifies that when ever the colum Last_update_by of FND_USER is updated the flow rule will get fired.
Please try and let me know if u face any issues
thanks -
How to check availability with different checking rules
Hi,
Can any of you help on this query please.
We have a checking group defined for each materail.
We have a checking rule defined for plant and production order type.
When the Production order is created and saved the availability check happens and the missing parts list is generatted.
The checking scope for the above combination of the checking group and rule - includes the purchase order of coponents in recievables.
Though we don't want to change this setting,
Business also want to see if the prodcution order components have any recievable PO, in the coming week so they can follow up with procuremetn team. Or alternatively they want to see the missings parts list for the next week with out including the purchase orders, as recievables.
I can create a checking rule and scope that can exclude the purchase order from recievables, and can assign this rule to the production order type. but that is not required as ATP for future production orders should include the purchase orders in scope.
Is there any transaction, where I can put the production order and a checking rule, to check material availabilty of components ?
Or do you see any other repots or solution to this query.
Best Regards,Hi Mario,
Thanks for your answer.
Checking rule at the operational level i.e. to confirm or committ the availability is ok and is assigned to production order type.
We don't want to change that.
You are correct that we want just a report for information purpose, that checks availability based on different checking rule.
But I am currently looking for if there are any standard reports or solution is available for this and keeping a Z custom developemetn as a last option.
However if we will decide for the custom developemetn, the FM provided by you might help, as we won't need to search for it now.
Please let me know if you get any standard report for it.
Or if you find a report for checking the assciated procurement elements with the production order, that has been used to confrim the component availability. Such report can also help to follow up with the procurement department.

Edited by: anant joshi on May 29, 2008 11:20 AMAvailibility checking rule populates from the availibilty maitined in your material master.
i.e 01 Daily requirements
02 Individual requirements
If you go to transaction OVZ9
you will see the assignment of checking rule against 01 & 02.
e.g 01 A SD order
01 B SD Delivery
01 AE Make to order Stock
I Think This will clear your doubt.

User Exit for maintaining Checking Rule while creating Sales Order
Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement where I need to assign a particular value to Checking Rule (VA02 -> Display Availability Button -> Checking Rule field (beside Checking Group field)) while creating a Sales Order in SD (via. IDOC's).
In my requirement, within one Checking Group there are multiple checking rules assigned. When I am trying to assign the checking group in userexit_move_field_to_vbap (include MV45AFZZ), it is picking up the default checking rule ('A') and not the customized one defined for our requirement.
Is there any other user exit within which I can directly assign the Checking Group and Checking Rule while creating the sales order, please suggest.
Regards,
Arvind. You can use userexit 'USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP' in include MV45AFZZ. This is executed every time a user changes anything on a material (e.g. put in a material number) and hits return. Just raise your pop-up window there if the user puts in the particular material you are talking about. The material number is available in xvbap-matnr.
Hope that helps,
Michael
